fantastic pizza place very friendly staff, ethan and natalia are lovely they even bring food out to the car which is convienient

The place is looking old and tired inside. The paint is peeling off the walls in many places, the ceiling is very yellow. The staff do not wear gloves or a uniform. I have to say, the pizza was nice though

Awesome food here for vegans and very friendly staff. Food normally is delivered within 40 minutes, sometimes it takes longer but anyone with common sense will understand that friday and Saturday is a busy night. It's a shame that people give this place a 1 star rating, if only they realised that trying to order at quarter to 11 on a Sunday, means that their order will get cancelled, who even orders at half ten at night to eat food. 😅 The oven will be turned off, they will be cashing up and mopping the floor.

Ordered food for my family and only when checking the online tracker 40mins after I ordered I found out it had been cancelled. No information as to refund or a reason. Tried to call store (as directed by the email that followed) for 15 mins and the only answer I got was someone picking the phone up and putting the phone straight down! Absolutely shocking!

I wouldn’t bother pizza was dry and was completely flat like a cardboard cutout and they didn’t even cut through the crusts so ended up having to tear it , tata tots were completely tasteless even though topped with cheesy and bacon , a pretty dismal experience really

Unbelievable experience! Placed the order online more than 1 hr ago, called the store 10 times in the past 30 min, no one is answering the phone, I don’t have the option to cancel my order. This is the worst customer service I ever experienced and I will definitely complain on their head office. Never order from them again and will advise everyone not to!

Who wants soft pizza? Waited 30 minutes after it was out for delivery that’s what I got!Finally gave up trying to chew soft pizza and stuck it in the oven to liven it back up again. Shouldn’t have to, Absolutely disgusting service never again…..sticking to Domino’s from now on.

Probably the greasiest delivery pizza I've ever seen, only managed a few slices before giving up. Delivery was slow & driver ignored the instructions given when ordering.

This is the best pizza in Medway. I wouldn’t usually bother writing reviews on such big companies when most people know what to expect and probably wouldn’t bother checking the reviews anyway. However this Papa Johns is exceptional. I have ordered pizza from Pizza Hut, Dominoes, Pizza go go and more in local areas and all over the country as well as in other parts of the world in some cases. But no other pizza restaurant has delivered my pizza at the perfect standard each and every time. Every time it is made and delivered within half an hour, burning hot and fresh. I have never had an issue. The only down side is they are always out of the chicken papa bites and they are my absolute favourite!!! I will always continue to order from here as my go to pizza delivery place. No other pizza is as good as this one.

Ordered Pepperoni and Italian sausage and when the pizza came it had almost no Italian sausage

Typical franchise - We have tried a number of times but come to the conclusion that, although the sauce's are slightly better than Dominoes or Pizza Hut, the pizzas themselves are no better in our opinion. Delivery is hit and miss, took 30mins to get to us, after it was out for delivery via the App, so just under an hour in total from ordering. Slightly better on some deals but nothing much to shout about either. Also the sides are limited and didn't offer much variety against the competition. If you're bored of the normal go to outlets then give this a try but don't expect miracles...3/5

BEST PIZZA EVER ! Staff really friendly and polite, very efficient received quick hot food at competitive price, plus the manager was really good looking too , will be back ;)

Did have to call to check address. I appreciate that he did that. Food was warm. I couldn’t honestly say hot which was a shame. Still quality of food didn’t let me down.

Wrong order, I phoned the shop to speak to manager Ethan he was very rude so decided to go to the shop my self didn’t make any difference , he refused to replace my order and told me to ask my kids to eat cold pizza and drink water as I order tango and receive cherry pepsi he told me to tell the kids to drink water, I never seen anything like these in my life.

Used this take away while on holiday in Rochester. We have had great Pizzas here on two occassions, the staff are friendly and polite.

I have been using Papa Johns for the last 2 years and firstly absolutely they have given a proficient service that is been more than we have expected. Yes there have been a coupe times when order missed some ingredients ( few toppings) however they were gracious to deliver another order and that being with 15mins . Some of the reviews here I can only say that could be 'the competition' pouring negative reviews if they are genuine then there is always the answer 'The customer is ALWAYS right ' , What do we know about 'The customer ' .. hmm Were they drunk ? were they upset before they came , maybe were upset there are many reasons why we should don't accept accountability for our OWN ACTIONS . This is that because I have seen first-hand experience and actually done the same and have repented because we all go through rough times but we must look at what we deny ourselves through blame , fast criticism . This is the culture now where we need to help ourselves this is an emotional , spiritual journey so let's navigate through life with sense of community that e each have a role to achieve for a better and higher purpose.

Ordered a pizza and it wasn’t cut up like a pizza, so I struggled to eat it. Was also cold by the time it got to me. Rang the restaurant as it said my food was delivered, but it hadn’t been. They were very helpful with telling me where my food actually was.

Only really leaving a review to say thank you to the guy who called me to check my order due to a slight issue with my online order - I ordered a vegan pizza but their system showed it as normal cheese on a vegan pizza - they felt that seemed wrong so they called me to check. I was so thankful for the call! Someone could've just dismissed it and make what it came through as, and it would've left me feeling very unwell so I'm super thankful to the guy who called (sorry didn't catch his name) and confirmed with me what was correct. Food and service always great but this just felt above and beyond! :)

All was really good apart from the dairy free ice cream I ordered. It had completely melted and was just a runny mess. All the other times I’ve ordered the ice cream it has been fine, still basically frozen like it had just come out the freezer. This time it was just a runny mess and I had to throw it unfortunately as I didn’t know how long it had been like that, so couldn’t refreeze it

Waited 45 mins for a pizza to be delivered when I live 2 mins away. Came in drier than the Sahara, no sauce to be found fellas. Garlic and cheese sticks looked like a volleyball and the bacon and cheese sticks had about enough bacon to stick in your eye. Wouldn’t recommend to my worst enemy.

Haven’t had a pizza for ages, but fancied it for a change. Have to say the service was excellent, food tasted great and the delivery was timely and driver was really friendly and nice. Will order again for sure.

Used to be a pub called The Bull. Good to see the building hasn't been demolished and has a new lease of life.

Majority of drivers maintain social distancing during deliveries by using boxes used specifically for placing on door steps so the food isn’t handed directly to customer to ensure the safety of both the customer and staff.

The vegan pizzas were delicious..though the spicy one a bit ‘ tangy’ , The cauliflower wings a real treat ! We wondered whether the plastic dubree in the middle was really necessary.. just a thought

I ordered food at 12 (when it opened) supposed to come at 1.15pm and it arrived at 1.45pm it wasn’t hot and i asked for a stuffed crust it wasn’t ! I don’t think I will order from them again !

I ordered an American hot pizza with some extras! When my pizza came, the pizza only had the extra toppings on it! I called the restaurant and they said that's just how it comes in on the system! Not even an apology let alone any offer of fixing the order! Not ordering from here again!

The food was cold and late by the time it was delivered, I phoned the restaurant and they weren't interested and just said to contact to just eat. I contacted just eat, they only refunded part of the cost of the food and not all of it. I have tried to use the credited refund but it is not showing on my account.

Never had a bad experience with them, food is always hot, tasty and at an affordable price.

Food was late, and although we felt for the delivery driver as it really wasn’t his fault, when you pay £60 as a treat for your family and it arrived late and cold it really isn’t on. Taking the phone off the hook isn’t helpful either!

Pizza arrived 1½hrs late, some of the order was wrong, it was warm at best, not hot at all. No apology when we called them, just "its not our fault". Would definitely NOT recommend and will definitely NOT be ordering from Strood Papa John's again.

The food was delicious and still hot. It was delivered on time even though I don’t live in the easiest place to find and the delivery man was polite and courteous.

If I could give a 0 I would tried ordering on just eat as it came up for my postcode placed an order had a page came up order failed so phoned the shop explained to the person on the phone what happened and he just said yeah I don't deliver to that postcode. No sorry about the confusion, just yeah I don't deliver there and the tone he spoke was if I was dirt on he's shoe. If that's how they talk to customers I dread to think how he talks to staff.

I came in to collect some pizzas last Saturday with my small children and the manager was yelling obnoxiously at his staff members who were clearly working hard. I thought this behaviour was unacceptable and it was upsetting for my children to hear. I will not be using this business again.

Delivered to the wrong address and did not ring on delivery as requested. Not worth the money paid. Took over an hour for a pizza to be delivered.

Order was over 30 minutes late which meant I waited 2 hours for it in total. Food was freezing cold when it arrived and I had to reheat it. Tried to call the restaurant 24 times and there was no answer. Absolutely appalling. Avoid.

Awful. An order was mistakenly processed twice through your service, hence it needed adjusting. After an hour of continuous contact, it couldn't be altered therefore it resulted in a delivery driver making an unnecessary trip.

Very efficient, good quality food and a really lovely delivery man.
