£30 ave pizza . Aboslute rip off

Delivery was quick, and the food was ok. Cookie was burnt and very hard threw most of it away inedible.

Couldn't order online, so ordered in store instead. Due to dietary intolerances it's not a particularly easy order and the woman that served me (Heidi) was super patient, polite and nothing was too much trouble. She worked through the order with me, made the adjustments and was lovely the whole time. Couldn't ask for any more really!

Not as happy with this order been ordering for years but not the same this time pizza base not as nice and chicken wings had funny taste just not nice meal at all on this occasion

No cheese on pizza can't believe it we had to add our own mozzarella and put in oven we received 50 percent off we didn't realise that we would receive half the cheese and toppings as a result absolutely disgusting 50 percent off and still paid £34 for 2 pizzas never again please do not use this takeaway unless you want to be disappointed and hungry and out of pocket

Ordered a philly cheesesteak pizza tonight, along with tandoori chicken pizza, Spent £34!!! The Philly cheesesteak pizza was crumbly pieces of steak, onion, rolling around on top of pizza!! I added mozzarella myself & put it in the oven!! I've just rang to complain to be told I can do a remake as priority we'll remake pizza & swap it over!!!! Pizzas in the oven! What a joke!! £34 to add ya own cheese???? & to be told thats the best we can do?? Well never again papa John's!

Absolutely disgraceful customer service from the “ Manager “ place an order online for collection but there must’ve have been a technical issue so my order came out wrong. However, when I went into the store to collect to collect the order I received the most shocking customer in my entire life. The manager was ignorant and just didn’t want to help whatsoever. I WILL NEVER BE ORDERING FROM THIS BRANCH AGAIN. 0/10

Ordered a cheese garlic bread and cinnamon swirls ,far too greasy inedible so won't be ordering anything again

Food was fantastic, best I have had for years,

1 hour 20 mins late, rang restaurant and no answer. Absolute amateurs, won't be ordering again from them, it's not the fact it's late, it's the fact there's zero communication, pathetic.

Order never showed up, rang up 5 times but no answer. Over an hour and a half after the food was due to be delivered, they updated the Just Eat account to say it had been delivered, which it was not. Still no answer when I tried calling.

Order was cancelled 10mins after advised delivery time. Reordered from Papa Johns and was delivered within half an hour

Pizza was jot and had a good filling coverage

Decent pizzas though on the pricey side. Staff were good.

Food has always been perfect don't have a bad thing to say got me hooked will always keep coming back for more

Outrageously expensive for such a miniscule mediocre pizza, you get similar offerings from a supermarket at 1/4 of the cost. This perfectly round pathetic excuse for a pizza looked as though it had been made in a factory, destined for a supermarket shelf.

I love pizza from papa john, always great food I been ordering from years only one time I had bad pizza that’s just a one off mistake but I love food from there pls bring back hotdogs pizza and get rid off pasto pizza it’s horrible lol

Absolute disgrace. Attitude customer service everything. Couldn't fulfill my order even tho ordered it 3hours prior. Got owner of shop talking to me like I was a 3year old. Never had service as terrible in my life. Will definitely not be ordering again. Told payment to be refunded could be 5days. They busy everybody in same position and they don't have any delivery drivers. Absolute joke.

Paid for a “14 pizza from the Newcastle west denton area. When it arrived it had clearly had some sliced off and wasn’t a whole pizza. The staff must be so hungry they have to resort to taking slices of pizza from orders. If I would have known this before I completed my order I would have gotten them one as well. Won’t be using this papa johns again.

I got a delivery and the pizza's from Papa Johns West Denton, Newcastle upon Tyne are the best I'v had. The food is delivered nice and hot and the delivery people are very polite 10/10

£22 for a small pizza is mental asked for extra cheese still looking for it. Never ever again, also the cheese from this branch is not papa johns cheese it tasted like cheap cash n carry cheese. Disgraceful 🤮

Fantastic service, fantastic pizza! I have been using this branch for over a year now and I have not once been let down by the quality. On occasion I’ll collect and the staff have always been courteous , friendly and professional. 👍🏻

Usually great food and usually no complaints, today the base of the pizza was just undercooked, the dough itself! I wouldn't make a huge deal of it as I work in the food industry myself and realise that mistakes happen, just some constructive feedback for you. 👌

Was alreet but to long for delivery

My food has not arrived at all, I just ordered pizza and I have received a "rare your meal request". The food has not arrived..... Been waiting 30 minutes over the delivery time and it's still not here it says it was being prepared and on the way, but nothing has arrived or been delivered, am now pretty annoyed at the level of service at this point.

They close 30mins early to get an early night and would not serve me at 10pm claiming they’ve turned everything off nowhere does it state 10pm last order.

Live 10 mile away so always collect has 2 issues with orders and both time customer service has been horrendous. No acknowledgment or reasonable resolution so always left without the pizza I ordered. Never using this branch again. AVOID! AVOID! AVOID!

was quite simply next level taste quality the dough was superb cheese nice well cooked ham spot on onion done to perfection maybe next time caramelised. very fast also. Pizza is under-priced

Arrived cold, my sauces weren't in my order, and after drivers delivered pizza then another with sauce both left my gate open, usually I am happy with order but this isn't the 1st time its happened with this place 😪

Nice pizza base but hardly any toppings on them. One pizza was a Large Garden Pizza and the few mushrooms on were cut so thin them must use a grater. At around £22 a pizza this is massively overpriced! We only ordered them as it was 2 for 1 Tuesday but that deal wasn't automatically added. We were nearly charged £44 and had to cancel and re-order. Do they think people would prefer to pay double. £44 for 2 takeaway pizzas is absolutely crazy. This is one business that would have no justification putting their prices up because of energy price increases.

Always cancel online orders if you make it too late on. I don’t blame the staff - clearly the manager needs to amend the last order time. The problem is they still take the money preventing you spending it on alternatives.

Big Match Bundle is an insane deal, always gets it & in doing so means we get enough points for a free side every other visit! Always consistent food, so never worried "we might get a bad meal this time" like seems to be the case with so many other places at the minute. Plus, that special garlic is to die for. 😩

SHOCKING. I don't usually post bad reviews, especially about pizza as I'm quite easily satisfied. However, this meal was sadly very bad indeed. The pizzas were literally freezing cold, rubbery and DID NOT taste fresh at all. The potato tots didn't fair any better.....in-fact, the only thing saving this review from a 'Null Points' is the fact that the warm cookie dough was pleasant. Oh, by the way, the garlic bread didn't taste of garlic AT ALL... in-fact, we all tasted stiff, rubbery coconut dough. How!?!?!

Made an order at an estimated wait time of 30-45mins we waiting an hour and a half to receive the wrong order even clearly labelled at a different address to ours they then wanted us to wait a further inestimable amount of time for our correct order would really not recommend haven’t got a clue what they’re doing in all honesty staff are very unhelpful really bad experience

My go-to restaurent for pizza in the UK. they have a wide variety of selections in the menu. I would’ve been amazing if they do extend their offers to the drinks as well.

Over an hour late after calling 14 times someone eventually answered ans we were told our order had been cancelled due to not having the dessert we ordered even though they called us and we changed order over the phone, order cancelled without letting us know or a refund absolutely scandalous

Ordered £19.99 large deal with drink and side. No side on collection and missing a garlic dip. Seems everywhere you go these days is having a crisis of missing items off your order.

Yummy pizza, pretty good deals. Toppings are excellent! Love the points rewards system (1 point/£4). We like to order more pizza than we would eat in a meal so we have leftovers, that means we build up points pretty quickly. All the delivery people we've had were very friendly.

Usually pretty good as far as overly priced priced pizza goes, I mean "paying" almost £60 quid for 3 pizza's....then there's all the wonderful money off vouchers, usually as many to choose from as the somewhat now limited pizza menu.... come on Papa John, just kybosh the discount codes & charge regular pizza prices guys. Okay, I'm not a complete div, so yeah add a couple of quid more than the local chipizza takeaway, cos it is Papa John's after all....so the pizza's are pretty undeniably sublime. Anyhoo, we came to terms (yes, as we usually....thanks to discount codes) & submitted to paying the premium & placed an order, only to be presented with the store's opening times & a "closed" notification, one hour after said store's opening time. No explanation, no change 30 minutes later, and no answer from the phone = no 3x pizza's, 1x disappointed little boy & 2x p'd parents. Yeah ok, there may well have been an issue that prompted the closure this evening, but no explanation / reason on the website & no answer or recorded message on the phone is just ignorant in the age of technological ease to communicate.....a little like this review I guess!

Pizza was nice can not say the same for the sides and sauces and the price was ridiculous i thought the food would be fantastic and just was a let down.

Had marmite and cheese swirls plus cinnamon swirls first time a few weeks ago and were delicious so decided to have again but URGH! You would think for such a well known name there would be consistency but NOPE. i phoned up and was told it depends who makes them whether they put large or small amount of flavourings. On top of lack of flavour this time both sweet n savoury swirls were not risen being tiny in comparison to original ones and were hard almost burnt. A replacement of both was delivered and i gave the yucky ones back to the driver. BUT the replacement ones were just as bad!!! Gave up. First time the swirlsdrives FILLED the box in all directs the yucky ones were rattling around and were virtually tasteless. SOOOO disappointing

Standard papa John’s food, staff are less than helpful and have no idea what deals are live on there website. Ordered a Xxl pizza online for collection and forgot to order a garlic dip when I asked for one in store I was told they are 45p each but we don’t take cash at the minute and all card payments are £5 or over, when I asked so what do you expect me to do your charming staff shrugged her shoulders and said I don’t know I am guessing you want me to buy 12 dips or order a side to be told that’s up to me what I do. Absolutely shocking service for the sake of a 45p dip I am sure a good will gesture wouldn’t have really been a problem. Terrible service and staff could definitely do with some customer service training.

Won't be using again. Total rip off in prices for what you get, ordered a medium pizza cost over £16 and was smaller than what you get in a supermarket. Person who ate it also said you might as well have bought one when shopping, ,supermarket one tasted better and the dip was awful.

I usually order Papa John's directly however winning a Just Eat voucher prompted me to order here. The delivery driver was friendly and on time. The food was hot however I don't know if it is because I ordered via Just Eat but it wasn't to the normal high standard I have come to expect from Papa John's. The pizza was poorly made, it fell apart when you picked it up and wasn't cut properly. The menu is more expensive with less choice compared to ordering via their own website.

No problem with it being late. Food was lovely and hot. Delivery driver very polite. Small issue with the dips, not worth ringing over, but the barbecue sauce had split open and sour cream was missing, but as I say, small mistake, nothing major.

Over 30 mins late with no call or update. Very disappointing.

The fact there are now vegan options makes me so happy. I really enjoyed my food and I will definitely be ordering from here again.

The potato tots were not very nice they seemed undercooked, how ever it would have been nice to have had the option of wedges like other papa John's places but pizza was nice.

Wont be back my order wasnt even sent to the shop but I have still be charged been waiting 1.30hr now and will have to wait more for it to be cooked

Unfortunately part of the order was missing. I rang the restaurant and they were brilliant and brought the item very quickly. Unfortunately the pizza was cold by time rest of food arrived. I should have heated oven to keep it all hot. Food okay. Have had nicer from restaurant. Staff were very helpful could not fault them.

Pizza was lovely as always and was delivered early. The place rang up to clarify a part of my order which was great customer service. The wedges however are a definite miss, won’t be getting them again.

food was good man wouldn’t accept our 10% discount that we were given on the just eat app. This made us feel very uncomfortable in our skin as we could bearly scrape up the 10%

Ordered garlic knots, however I got garlic bread slices which were dry and overcooked. Potato wedges were so dry and not appetising. All round food wasn’t nice at all
