KFC Byker - Shields Road in Newcastle upon Tyne

Had a bit of dry kitchen replaced immediately. Thank-you.they were very busy when I went in Wednesday and short staffed.still everybody was friendly,got on with it and nobody lost the plot.really enjoy popping once a week .cheers.defo 1 of the better kfcs.

the meal was terrible. chips .chicken was dry and the meal in general was cold .to touch had to reheat so most of it ended up in the bin ...I will bot be using KFC again

20 minute wait for a small meal, wet floors with a sign no where near it.

I have been coming to this shop for years, and always been happy. But recently this place is going down hill!!! Last time when we went to the restaurant direct ordered food to take out, I have waited for 45 min!!! When I asked first time how long my food will take, she said 20 min. So I decide to go to McDonalds while my husband was in KFC waiting for order. Come back from McDonalds and still no food. When I told the staff it's have been over 30 min since we ordered she was claiming that was no more that 15 min. RUDE AND IGNORANT STAFF, ALL OF THEM IN THERE!!!. I thought just give them the last chance to proved me wrong, so decided to order via just eat this time, and here we go again. No fries at all. How u can eat chicken without fries. Tried to ring them, but no answer and after 3 attemp phone was constantly busy. Will never order from there again, I will rather go to other KFC .AVOID THIS PLACE!!!.

Got a delivery on Just eat, stone cold, completely the wrong order for me as well as missing items for my son, all went in the bin £27 worth, rang the restaraunt and no answer, avoid at all costs! one star as they delivered the right drinks! shocking customer service, disgusting!! also avoid Just eat!! refunded £4.89!!

A decent kfc close to the city center with ample parking available, service was quick and freindly, food was hot and fresh aswel. The main door was damaged at the time which affects first impressions and really needs to bw fixed ASAP.

Terrible staff terrible service and terrible food, had bbq wrap on few occasions was dead cold like from the fridge and had meal deals always something missing from the order. Worst place to visit

I bought hot wings yesterday.wings not been 2 inch. I approach member of staff told them about wings are too try and less then 2 inch size.they simply said this like that and gone.

All I wanted to order was 4 pieces of chicken & 6 corn on the cob & it came to nearly £20. Got home to find 4 of the scabbiest dry bits of chicken which weren't very nice & there was wastage with some ending up in the bin. The only redeemer was the corn was spot on. Will I return? No

The food was disgusting, we were unable to eat it after what they charged, the chicken was not fresh at all, it looked dark, was cold and rubbery and VERY SUSPICIOUSLY like reheated leftovers, DEFO NOT FRESH as they claim, I was very upset as was my young son, will never order from this KFC again (Byker). Must be run by incompetent staff because their food looked like it!

Just bought a snack box for £3-99 what a disgrace, tiny mini fillet, child's portion of chips, coke. Disgracefull. Its back to burger king. Fir me.

We felt staff was rude and unethical specially their manager. They were not even listening but jumping to conclusions about food and service. Though the food is standard off taste.

Ordered a box meal, didn’t get the popcorn chicken, the mini fillet or the dip. Got a chicken burger (the wrong one) and fries for £15. How hard is it to put the correct things in the correct bag when it’s written down in front of you? Unbelievable.

I didn't really mind the food being late but when it arrived it was cold and everything had to be reheated in the microwave. For what we paid the food itself was extremely disappointing, the vegan burger in particular was pathetic - nothing like the image on the website with a tiny amount of limp lettuce and barely any mayonnaise. The texture of the fillet was disgusting - more akin to the bread bun than a piece of chicken. i will never order from KFC again and will think twice about this app.

I had to revisit this store 2 times to return 2 incorrect orders in the space of an hour because the staff are somehow incapable of understanding what a burger with no sauce or lettuce means. Quite impressive to be honest to be able to mess up this frequently. If I could give a zero star rating I would. Not to mention the staff look at you like absolute ****.

I recently ordered a 20-piece hot wings bucket and a family feast of 6 pieces from KFC. Unfortunately, most of the pieces in the hot wings bucket weren't wings at all, which was disappointing. Additionally, many of the wings were overly floury and over-fried, resulting in a greasy and unappetizing texture. The chicken pieces in the family feast suffered from the same issues, lacking the usual KFC flavor and quality. Overall, this experience fell short of expectations, and I'm unlikely to return anytime soon. Not recommending for anyone.

When upgrading to a large, you pay an extra £1, if this includes a coffee,you must pay extra, however coffee only comes as a regular and is half a cup so your only improve is the fries yet costed extra, they will not refund and will not top up drink. If you order a pepsi and make it a large you get large fries and large pepsi. When I said something they just looked at me bamboozled like every1 is okay about this. Will never come back to kfc as greggs and mcdonalds give better for equal price so if want fast food, I suggest going across road to greggs for a coffee or a mcdonalds for a better deal and better value

Cold, tastes bad like the meat was old, not sure how to put into words was just off, ended up throwing a lot away, chips were okay and about the only decent part, Large coleslaw and popcorn chicken were left out of the meal. Very poor overall.

I was missing a order but its ok.The thing is the food was not even warm it was just cold.The delivery guy was actually pretty fast but some how the food was cold and I was missing a burger.

Put on the notes no season chips as son has food allergy and its also the only thing he will eat is chips and they come seasoned!! Partner then had to drive to store for some normal ones for it to be shut nearly £30 for a delivery that he can't even eat!! Not happy at all!!!

Delivery was fast and food was warm. Driver was pleasant and professional. The food was ok I guess. Chips were hot (for a change), the chicken tasted like it has been cooked in old oil, and the popcorn chicken was disgusting, like chewing cardboard. Not a great experience on the food front really but the service was efficient. Sorry KFC Byker, you failed us on this occasion.
