Came for lunch, fab portion sizes, ordered a bagel, chicken burger, blueberry pancakes, large breakfast. Slightly overpriced for the burger. All food was delightful Great vibes and friendly helpful staff Blue light discount an extra bonus!

Había disfrutado ir a Frankie & Benny's cuando era joven y poco a poco noté que la calidad se deterioraba y no lo he estado en años. Pero decidí volver y me sorprendió gratamente. El personal era amable y muy atento cuando se trataba de alergias. No era un caso de ellos preguntando porque tenían que hacerlo, fueron al chef y me hicieron preguntas y me informaron de respuestas para asegurar que estaba bien continuar. Eso es muy apreciado. La calidad de la comida era bastante buena, era sabroso y los tamaños de las porciones buenos. Los precios son competitivos a otros lugares cercanos también, posiblemente mejor relación calidad-precio que la mayoría. Iría de nuevo.

Kara served us and was lovely, I have kidney failure so can't have salt and she was wonderful help to accommodate my needs. Brilliant service as well.

Hannah was a great and efficient server. Our food came to our table quickly and was prepared very nicely. The atmosphere of the dining area was immaculate. It was a really good experience and I would recommend it to anyone craving a good American style meal.

Just had a meal at this Frankie and bennies food was sub standard and cold. Asked for the bill took us 25 minutes to finally pay after receiving the bill then because we asked to pay 6 times the waitress was mocking my partner who asked for a 7th time if we could pay the bill. Snotty attitude and when the bill is over 110 quid. Don’t expect service like this. You should be ashamed of yourselves

My wife son and myself went for lunch we waited 30 mins for our starter which Included a half of a garlic bread and 2 lots of 2 chicken goujons, then had to wait another 30 mins for the main, the food was fine but was cut down half of what it was,I have to say the staff were brilliant they always are but there was only 3 on what was a busy time, obviously really understaffed, unfortunately we will not be returning it has went so downhill it is unreal which is a shame as we used to love coming.

Ribs were very tasty , would have liked maybe some corn on the cob , our server was really friendly , all in all a nice lunch .

We came here after a Newcastle football match, food was really greasy, chips were fine. Asked if we wanted any sauces when food was served to us, to which we were charged £1 per sauce on the bill. Would never go to a f and b again.

Visited Frankie and Benny’s in Newcastle Eldon Square. The food was okay—nothing special but decent value for money. Unfortunately, the experience was overshadowed by a crying child, which disrupted the atmosphere and even caused some customers to leave.

Food quality wasn’t great and is definitely very overpriced for what you receive. However the staff are really great and friendly.

Wife just been with bairn her pasta was on the side for pick up for 20 mins while waiting for the bairns food. It was cold and disgusting they won't be back in total waited 40 mins and 20 of that the food was on the side. AVOID DISGUSTING. Carbonarra... It ain't the 1st review too be criticised nothings changed in a year. I'd of stayed n kicked off cos I wouldn't pay wife ain't like that but she will never go back.

It was ok. Got the free main for signing up however you have to buy two mains and get the cheaper one for free so it was a pointless reward. Prefer Metrocentre to be honest.

I went to F&B with a group of 6 friends. Took us about 10 minutes to get seated and then got left for another 15 for drinks. Out drinks arrived then they took out food order. Food was bang average nothing special. We then had our plates cleared and waited close to 30 mins for desert order. We ended up getting the bill as it took ages . Then I had a service charge put on my card that was not on the bill. Don’t know if they are understaffed or not very attentive. Would not recommend!

Had 2 courses, wouldn't fault anything! Food was hot and tasty. Can't believe I've never been here, went to TGI Fridays and I'd say here was better! Even more so for the price! Highly recommend!!

Visited with a friend for lunch, we were quickly welcomed and shown to a table. Jordan looked after us well, taking orders in good time, our food and drinks arrived in good time. Also he made sure our couple changes we requested were done. The food was hot and tasty when it arrived, we were checked in as expected. Overall a great meal and wouldn't hesitate to go again. Had a really nice meal. Food delicious and one of the kids ate for free. One issue was that I wasnt able to use a free garlic pizza voucher at the same time as kids eat free but wasnt told this before I ordered and had to pay full price for the garlic pizza which I only really wanted because I had the free voucher. Should have been told this before I ordered but didnt spoil what was a very nice meal.

“Lazanya is delicious, I love it! It has a rich flavor and is served piping hot. As for Frankie’s Classic Meatballs, they have a different taste from what I’ve had before. They feel milder compared to the rich taste of lasagna. There’s a slight spiciness that’s almost imperceptible. The meatballs themselves are tasty, and the overall portion size is quite big. The service staff is excellent, and the restaurant has a beautiful ambiance

Me and my husband went here about a month ago for breakfast and we honestly couldn’t fault it - the food was good, the service was good and it was just generally a great experience but then fast forward to this afternoon and we fancied another breakfast so decided to go here again, we were about to spend the best part of £30 because we also had a £20 Eldon Square gift card. Unfortunately due to issues with public transport we were running late, as I’m heavily pregnant my husband ran ahead to try and get us a table in time for breakfast knowing it stops at midday. My husband arrived at exactly 11:59am and was told that they wouldn’t be serving us breakfast. We were disappointed in that response as they didn’t even bother to check with the kitchen whether they could accommodate us, now I would completely understand if we were 10 or 15 minutes late but the fact that my husband literally arrived at 12pm on the dot I think this was a bit unfair. It meant that we just went elsewhere instead, at a time when Frankie & Benny’s are closing restaurants up and down the country I’m not quite sure how they can afford to turn any business away. The Metrocentre branch always accommodates us if we’re running 5 minutes late by still allowing us a breakfast. We will be reluctant to visit this branch in future which is a real shame as their breakfasts are delicious! We also asked if they accepted the Eldon Square gift cards and they said no, when every other shop inside the centre does. Overall not a great experience today! I have since emailed them regarding this matter and I keep getting snotty replies back stating I have sent it to Bella Italia and not Frankie & Benny’s when I have simply followed the link on their website, either way they don’t seem bothered or interested so I’ll be avoiding this place from now on!

Visited this restaurant for the first time with my wife around midday on Saturday as a welcome shopping break. We must have timed it well because we got a table no problem but a queue soon formed after us. The positives first - the food was great, we both opted for the "classic dog" which was simple and tasty along with a soft drink each. The only downside was the service. Although the waiting staff were friendly enough (apart from an older guy who seemed to be very bored with his job), we had problems catching their attention when we needed them - whether this was to place our order, or get our bill - and this took some doing. I know the place was busy but they need to pay more attention to the seated customers and not just those queuing. All in all, the food won over, so I'm sure we'll be back.

Very disappointed with my meal today at frankie and bennys. Starter of southern fried chicken was nice but omg the spaghetti bolgenes was horrible, so bland little bit mince no sauce spaghetti over cooked had to leave it, my friends dinner was the same who had hot dog in a bin. The bun was a brioche bun and the hotdog was like it had been warmed in the oven, the onions were pkt onions deep fried and greasy not fresh even the fries weren't nice. Wouldn't come back 😒

Think I’ve only ever had Frankie & Bennys once before years ago and wasn’t that great. But thought we’d try this one when I finished work. So happy we did! Was sooooo good! Staff were friendly and welcoming. Checked if we had any allergies. We got a pizza each and my son got a garlic bread, freshly made on sourdough 😍. We also got buffalo chicken loaded fries and they were to die for! Will definitely be back.

My recent visit to this restaurant was deeply unsatisfactory, a stark contrast to the usual standard. Our order consisted of two courses accompanied by drinks. Despite the restaurant being relatively empty, our service experience was frustratingly slow and disorganised. We endured a lengthy wait of 25 minutes before our starters arrived, and to our dismay, the drinks followed only after we had finished our starters. This wasn't an isolated incident, as we noticed similar service delays at other tables. Our main course, which we eagerly anticipated, took another 25 minutes to arrive, and to add to our discontent, the side of fries we ordered was missing. Attempts to flag down a waiter to rectify this were futile. After our meal, we promptly requested the bill, only to find that we were incorrectly charged for the fries we never received. Upon addressing this issue with the waiter, his response was far from professional. He crumpled the receipt in his hands and disregarded our complaint, choosing instead to tend to other tables. After an additional 15-minute wait, he returned with an inability to amend the bill and asked us to manually calculate the new total without the fries. Overall, this experience was not only disappointing but also appalling in terms of service quality. There was a complete lack of apology or acknowledgment of our dissatisfaction. I hope this feedback prompts the necessary improvements to ensure better experiences for future customers.

Went for lunch today. Was having a bit of a bad day then my granddaughter knocked a drink over me. Fern, the waitress was absolutely brilliant, she cleaned it all up and she couldn't do enough for us. Thanks so much Fern.

We decided to go into Franky & Benny's on our last visit to Newcastle and I'm so glad we did. We received a warm friendly welcome from Nick who showed us to our table, reviewed my food intolerances, offering a small tablet that enabled me to check menu details. We selected breakfast meals which were quickly brought to us by Jordan, another friendly, team member. The meals were hot, tasty and well priced This is a restaurant I would recommend to anyone looking for friendly, polite, well informed staff, with a wide range of tasty food, can accommodate a diverse range of food allergies and intolerances and is set comfortable surroundings with a relaxed atmosphere

Breakfast was poor ,cold tomato, lukewarm beans,cold mushrooms,sausage fatty,overall enough to make us go elsewhere.

Food was nice enough without being amazing but portions small and expensive. The amount of chips served with the burger seemed particularly small since it cost £15. Serving staff very friendly and helpful.

While I was ordering (using the website) me and my friends were choosing our food and we were being harassed by the workers asking us multiple times if we had ordered yet. It made us feel very uncomfortable and pressured. Will not be coming back here again very poor customer service. Even after we ordered we were still questioned on our ordering process.

Hadn’t been Frankie and Benny’s for quite a while and now I remember why. I ordered the carbonara at £14.20 which resembled a supermarkets own brand bang in the microwave job. This tasted nothing like carbonara and had to ask for Parmesan and was provided with a thimble sized pot. I could have done with a bucked load to try and take away the nasty taste. My daughter had the pepperoni pizza which also tasted cheap and poor quality. The only good thing out of the meal was the garlic bread with cheese which was really nice and the chips were ok. For the price I might have well of popped to Asda and recreated this for a fraction of the price. This place doesn’t do ‘cooking’ and there is nothing authentic about it this food. Just heat up/ pre cooked food. Will never return to eat this nasty over priced place again.

Ordered food for delivery, there was hair in the carbonara, both deliveroo and the restaurant refused to provide a refund or remake the food (even for collection). Won't be ordering from here again.
