1) close down store with out warning ⚠️ this could be because they over priced for very poor quality 2) The app does not work right and I have to email the head office who is very unhelpful and rude just to get my points add on

Terrible pizza place. My son accidentally ordered pizzas on the app without selecting the family deal. The staff laughed and said they couldn’t help. Terrible service.

Ordered online and collected in store. Super fast and very tasty

Not even being dramatic, they just made the best pizza of my life. I asked for cheesy and he understood the assignment. I will never forget that pizza. It was the BEST cheese pizza with chicken and sweetcorn cooked to perfection. Thank you so much and it cost £8 what a bargain.

Placed an order ten minutes before closing (online). Received a phone call that the oven was off and the order could not be fulfilled. One wonders why you would advertise the closing time at 11pm if you cannot fulfill orders even ten minutes before that time.

Absolutely useless, ordered 2 pizzas, had to repeat the order a number of times, then I was told they would be 45 mins. 1 hour later phoned to check on pizza and told they were on the way. 1hr 30 mins phoned again told again they are on the way, person answering phone was difficult to understand and I had to repeat myself again a few times. Over 2 hours, now told pizza have been delivered, unfortunately must have been to the wrong address. Husband asks to talk to manager or supervisor, lady says she will get him to ring us back, not surprised he/she hasn't. Husband arranges to go and collect pizza, by now hungry and feed up. 10 mins after he leaves pizza turns up, cold. We did debate which pizza place to order from as rarely have pizza, definitely will not be ordering from this papa johns again. Shame as if warm I'm sure the pizza would have been very nice. Gave 1 star for service as have to give something.

For the second consecutive time ordering on the app from this branch, the order hasn't gone through yet there is a £30 pending transaction on my banking app. Last time this happened I immediately ordered again and only noticed the duplicate transaction later. This time I checked before handing them more money and sure enough no order, no email confirmation, no interest from the person in the branch and no access to my £30 probably for at least 3 working days. If the app doesn't integrate properly with PayPal, stop offering it as a payment method.

Don’t deliver most of the time!

We ordered our food and waited on the delivery update screen. It went in the oven pretty quickly then sat in the "cutting and checking" for 25 mins going cold. It then for delivery but the Food arrived and hardly any heat. Really displeased. Manager was a bit short when I called and told to go yo the website if I was not happy.

We ordered several times from this place, and we were always satisfied. The service is quick, vegetarian and vegan options are really good, both when it comes to pizzas and sides (highly recommend cauliflower wings!). People working there are professional and kind, welcoming you with a smile. Worth trying!

*BE WARNED the vast majority of good reviews are fake, check the repetitive surnames, without these they would have a total 1 star review. AVOID. The worst customer service ever experienced by a food service. Incorrect order arrived completely damaged. The store not only refused to offer a refund, or exchange but were incredibly rude on the phone over multiple calls, refusing to apologise or resolve the situation and instead just hang up. All that was requested was the goods paid for, now you have lost customers for life. Management in the store are clearly in the wrong job, need to learn that no customers = no job and learn the basics of customer service and politeness.

Ordered a delivery on 22nd Jan, I was on my banking straight after the order and noticed that payment had been taken twice. Called the store and was told refund would be back in my account with 2 days. As of 5 days later still no refund… complained with no resolution yet! Stick to Dominoes, they will only charge you once for your order!

Terrible service, delivered late when i called to find out where the pizza was. There was no apology for the hold up. When we finally got our food it was not what I had ordered. To hungry to get the correct order and just settled for what they sent.

Wrong items delivered. Manager very rude and would not listen. Obviously trying to risk the other pizza place in Alton for bad service. Won't be using again

Shocking pizza and shocking service. The last pizza I received was damaged upon delivery and I was told I could receive a replacement pizza.. going through the store I have made multiple calls, been rudely spoken to, given the wrong information and hung up on. Disgraceful service and will never use again. Deserves 0 stars

What a fail… Got stuck in the out for delivery phase for an hour and a half resulting in an extremely cold and rubberised pizza… said pizza was also wrong with incorrect toppings, crust thickness and sauce… The garlic pizza bread still had the cooking metal grate underneath and the chicken was practically walking. Having had Papa’s for many years (Lightwater, Fleet etc) I’ve never been so disappointed. Complained to Papa Johns directly and got nowhere.. Please save the ££ and either get a Dominos or DIY because this branch doesn’t have a clue.

No stars for this bought a pepperoni with stuffed crust, the crust took up one third of the pizza and the crust was soggy the tomato base was probably about one teaspoon full,the dough was horrible like eating chewing gum,jus as well there is another pizza shop opening next door to it and domino's very near, worst pizza in my entire life on top of that it cost me £11 have to give one star to post it believe me its not worth one star papa John's s--t ,

Pizza squleched and just wasn't that good. Garlic pizza was dry. Order and delivery time wasn't a problem though. Also the stuffed crust had pepperoni in with the cheese which it doesn't say in the description. I don't think it's going to make me ill or anything but there are other options in alton for pizza.

Food was really oily, doesnt taste nice at all. Cheesy Jelapeno bites dont think so that have any cheese in there only can taste mayo. Pizza half empty as well. First and surely the last time ordering from here.

Ordered from here 3 times since they opened. Always great offers and service. Much better experience than dominos

What a dreadful first try Pizza stuck for an hour at the “checking and cutting stage” Took 1h30 for 3 pizzas and three sides… Everything came fully cold, without the dips and one of the drinks was wrong. Called the shop and all they had to say was “okay”. Definitely never ordering again.

A very poor start. No opening Day special offers and no effort to try and compete against Domino's who are on the opposite side of of the street. Also no normal Pepsi only Pepsi Max. Needless to say I turned around and went to Domino's instead.

Doesn’t deliver to Bentley for some reason yet Dominoes in Farnham does 🤷‍♂️
