I've never tried this place what's it like??

I thoroughly enjoyed eating this take out with my family so much so this time i thought i would leave a review, the dishes were extremely tasty, fast delivery and such friendly service, I am so grateful thank you!

If I could rate this food any lower, I'd probably have to invent a new rating system called the "Negative Nom Noms Scale." Brace yourselves for a culinary rollercoaster, folks! So, I decided to venture into the unknown and ordered a mishmash of dishes: sweet and sour chicken balls (with a BBQ twist), egg fried rice (or should I say egg fried Sahara?), beef chow mein (which could probably double as a grease slide), and chicken and bamboo shoots (spoiler alert: it tasted more like chicken's distant cousin). Let's start with the sweet and sour chicken balls, or as I like to call them, the "Recycled Regret." These sad balls of disappointment looked like they'd been through a marathon in a deep fryer and were generously doused in what I can only describe as a failed science experiment—BBQ sauce gone wrong. It was like biting into a culinary mystery novel with a plot twist of indigestion. Next up, the egg fried rice, aka the Sahara Desert of carbs. Dryer than a stand-up comedian's sense of humor, but hey, at least it was marginally edible, which is more than I can say for the rest of the meal. Now, onto the beef chow mein, or as I like to call it, the "Oil Slick Surprise." Saturated in enough oil to rival an Exxon Valdez spill, this dish was a slippery slope to heartburn heaven. And let's not forget the chicken and bamboo shoots, where the chicken tasted more like a conspiracy theory than actual poultry. I'm pretty sure it's what caused the sudden onset of a stomach rollercoaster. After enduring this culinary catastrophe, I called the dragon (aka the restaurant) hoping for some redemption, only to be met with a refund calculation that made about as much sense as a cat trying to understand quantum physics. They even threatened to report me to the housing officer, as if my taste buds committed a crime against humanity. In conclusion, the food was a hot mess, and the customer service matched it in sheer absurdity. If you're looking for an adventure in gastrointestinal roulette, then by all means, give this place a try. But if you value your taste buds and sanity, run far, far away—preferably in the opposite direction of their kitchen. Bon appétit, or should I say, good luck!

All food ordered was hot and mostly lovely except my chicken chow mein had some either small bones or small pieces of plastic in it.

I should have read the reviews before ordering food here. We were visiting the area so I don't think ordering here again would be in our future plans. The food was substandard, all the dishes were extremely salty and carried a similar flavour profile due to the excessive salt. The egg fried rice was okay, just a bit dry.

The food was really nice however no prices on display. My order of six items ( 3 chow mein, two lemon chicken, mini spring rolls and prawn crackers that wasn't in the bag) was £47 which is only £32 in Haslemere. For that I had a missing prawn crackers and half the amount of mini spring rolls ( 5 here, 10 at Wok Star). I ordered and waited in the shop. For £15 less I'd happily drive to Haslemere. Shame as the food was good. But with no price list I should have known better. They could have made any price up on the spot.

Food arrived 1 half hours after ordering, delivery driver tried banging down the back gate instead of walking round to the front door. Egg fried rice was ok however the ‘crispy’ chilli beef was soggy, as was the mixed starter selection. We ordered sweet and sour pork balls however upon eating them we realised they where chicken!! Whatever the meat was that was in there was covered in greasy, soggy batter. Will not be ordering from there again.

Nice Chinese takeaway new and updated menu too!

Ordered online, took over an hour to arrive. The shredded duck was like chewing leather AND included a bone that my husband nearly choked on!!!!! The 'crispy' chilli beef was soggy, and the seaweed was beyond salty. Worst takeaway we have ever had. Needs shutting down.

Food absolutely awful, thought I’d make a change from China kitchen and try something new. Will never do that again. Food was disgusting and all of it has been thrown in the bin, £30 down the drain

Food was tasteless and VERY salty!! No peanut sauce with the chicken satey, over all quite a bad 1st time. Sadly won’t be returning

Place looked a bit run down and the food was a bit strange eg all the same beige colour -even the vegetables- and tasted bland. We did eat most of it and the portions were generous.

Food was awful, £26 of Chinese straight in the bin wouldn't even give it to my dog it was that salty, chicken was ropey, rice was rock hard and curry sauce tasted like my nans cassarole. Should have left food there after seeing the state of the shop, looked like an old scrapyard. Will be ordering pizza instead

Although the order and collection was fine and the duck and pancakes and prawn crackers were delicious, one chow mein smelt burnt and had a burnt aftertaste. Everything was ridiculously salty!! Will not be ordering form here again. Also person who collected found the staff very rude and this was not just on this occasion.

Terrible we waited an hour and 40 minutes for our food to be delivered. No answer when I tried calling. When the food eventually arrived it was cold. I would not recommend this place

Got chicken curries that tasted very bland curry sauce was like washing up water as for sweet and sour chicken overcooked some were cremated

I've just shared the most delicious set meal for two with my partner. The pork dish was really good. Very filling and good value for money. Will definitely be ordering from here again.

Absolutely disgusting will never order from there again if you like eating salt just buy Paxo as that is all you taste. Picture is meant to be crispy shredded beef it certainly isn’t that.

Really nice selection of dishes, large prawns and plenty of them. Well flavoured rice, plentiful portions. We ordered for 2, easily enough for 4. No issues my end. Yes, the chicken balls were on the salty side but not overly so. The batter was light and crispy and the meat was tender.

Worst Chinese takeaway I ever had in my life. Horrible Food, spend just over £100.The quality and taste is Pathetic.

Over salty food (why haven't they learned), over cooked chewy food, and a first for me.... Special fried rice with shredded fish /crab sticks.

Only ordered the spring rolls and sweet and sour chicken balls, they were so salty and over cooked you wld not even feed your dog them, the spring rolls were cold and again so so salty, how can they get it so so wrong never ever again wld I order from them or recommend them, when I tried to phone them the phone just rang and rang, so just gave up on the £15 wasted

25.70 for 2 curries rice and chicken balls over salted chewy poor chicken balls ...won't order there again

Our regular Chinese takeaway was closed so came here. Really good, freshly prepared food at reasonable prices. Will go again but probably order slightly less, big portions 😁

Nice Chinese meals at this place

We ordered a takeaway last night and it was vile to much msg and so salty we didn't eat it at all. The prices had changed also -£2-£3 more on each dish!. We were very disappointed and will definitely not be ordering again the person that delivered our food had food splatters all over his top also. If I could give no stars I would as it was vulgar. The only thing that was great was the delivery time.

Decided to try this place and was really happy I did. All the food was hot and the chicken was really good quality. Only fault was the lemon sauce needed more flavour

Tried this place for the first time. OMG...have never tasted a worse chinese, SALTY is the word and lots of it.

On the reviews its love or hate this Chinese. I found it way to salty and the rice didn't smell right... Unfortunately we won't be going back!

I’ve just brought home an order I placed and collected. All three dishes tasted the same. The chilli chicken didn’t taste as if it had any chilli in it. In fact it tasted like mild sweet and sour. The only difference between that and the sweet and sour Hong Kong style chicken was the size of the chicken pieces. The sweet and sour pineapple contained no pineapple and loads of tomatoes and tasted the same as both chicken dishes. The crispy seaweed was invisible which was probably the best part of the meal. This is one of the worst takeaway meal experiences we have ever had. One of our party has already given up on trying to keep her meal to herself. Fingers crossed for the rest of us!!!!I have written to the takeaway to tell them the same, recommending they change their chef!!

Prawn toast £6.20 very expensive but the rest was good

Just picked up our Chinese. First time we have been here, it’s awful and over priced. Not even going to eat it we have just ordered the same thing from somewhere else

Terrible food and even worse service, avoid at all costs

Placed an order last week. Food was delivered in a reasonable time, wasn't a massive fan of the special fried rice, but the prawn dish i ordered was ok. Issue I had was with being double charged (paid online, then told payment wasn't successful so paid on the phone). An email to request a refund for the double payment went unanswered, then following a phone call to Dragon Valley I got told to ring the company they use to run their online web payment. Phone number I was given by Dragon Valley didn't work. Finally, after some Googling, I managed to get payment back thanks to a really helpful person at the other company. Won't be ordering from Dragon Valley again.

Normally very good, but recently had problems with the credit card machine. Having to pay cash is sometimes a bit inconvenient. Can get busy, but standards normally stay good. Have been using Dragon Valley for many years, so have noticed recent price rises. Still slightly cheaper than a meal in a restaurant, but think the gap is closing.

Have been going here for about 12 years and it's great! Especially recommend the Singapore Vermicelli. Good portion sizes and value for money.

We have hardly ever had any problems with the service here, always received good food and delivery is fast. I would highly recommend!

This Chinese takeaway now seems to be consistently receiving poor food heigne ratings from the environmental heath department. It’s probably why they choose not to display the rating.The rice tends to be extremely well over cooked and consistently ends up being a solid lump. Won’t be going back.

Visited this week Food hot and tasty, didn’t have to wait long , Will certainly go back, prices seem to have increased.

Always delivered hot and very good quality. Lovely sweet and sour and freshly fried clean white rice, with nice lean breast meat in the chicken fried rice! We order on a regular basis and think it is the best in our area.

Had Malaysian kung po before amazing hot with loads of cashew nuts, tonight something went wrong over salty no chilli, no sign of chili at all maybe chef doubled on salt thinking chilli no idea to salty to eat.. Spring rolls cold in the middle and to top it all my partner collected and had a credit card charge, which as far as I understand was axed in January 2018. had this meal before never had a credit card charge and never such a rubbish meal

We recently tried Dragon Valley because we just moved in to the town and had no food in the house. We ordered our favourite dishes but I was told they don't sell shrimp curry anymore, So I asked what part of the chicken did they use and they said they had no idea. I should have gone at this point. I bought the food including the chicken curry. Got home and the food was flavourless and my curry was slimy, gloopie and the chicken had an awful mouth feel. The egg fried rice was nice but we didn't eat the food and put the experience down to bad luck. We will never buy any food from here

The Family that run it work very hard . The food is always very good I have never had a problem with anything from there . I have always had my food delivered . It’s always been hot and tasty . and they are always quick and very friendly when delivering . I highly recommend this place . And I have used them for many many years . I would not use anyone els .

I don’t normally bother with duff reviews. I prefer to vote with my wallet and refrain from using them.However, having recently eulogised one of the best ever Chinese takeaways I thought I would balance the books.I moved close to this place recently and thought I would give it a try.Went for my favourite dishes of Singapore noodles, double cooked pork and a spring roll. Partner had chicken and sweet corn soup and a noodle dish.My noodles were dire. The pork actually smelled odd and was deeply unpleasant. The spring roll was soggy and falling apart.Her soup was underpowered and her noodles only marginally crossed the line of acceptable.I know takeaways have off nights, new staff etc but this was really unacceptable. You don’t find out how dire it is until you get home though.Probably one of the two worst Chinese takeaways I have encountered in the last fifty years.Sorry guys but you have to call it as you find it.

Dirty, food cooked worryingly very quick and covered intoo much salt

Avoid this place at all costs!! I've just had food poisoning from some chicken I had from there I've never been so ill in my life, thank god my little boy only ate the crispy part of the chicken they will be getting a visit!!

This was hands down the absolutely worst take away I have ever had. All you need to do is go and look at how dirty the front of house and the owners are to start imagining what is actually going on in that kitchen, because it's definitely not cooking.

This is the best Chinese takeaway for miles - used to go to Liss but swapped to this one because of the amazing ribs and shredded beef. Lovely staff and always hot with fast delivery.
