Domino's Pizza in East Hampshire

Slow delivery, and when food was received it was burnt. Called the store only to be told manager wasn’t available and we would be called back. We received no call back and had to call to chase. When the manager did finally come on the phone, he tried to claim that there was nothing wrong with the food and that all items go into their oven at the same temperature. He asked that we come to the store to help rectify the mistake THEY made. After we complained that this entire process, from delivery to issue resolution, was inadequate, he begrudgingly offered a partial refund of the order. Terrible!

I purchased 4 large pizzas from the Alton store before Christmas and it was a compete shambles from start to finish. Firstly I collected the pizzas and from the dominoes tracker it said they were ready to collect. They were not and I had to wait 15 minutes. When I challenged them on this the guy on the desk just said we are busy sorry... What's the point of the tracker Dominios?? Secondly once we finally got the pizzas and got home we found that one of the thin and crispy pizzas was completely burnt. Not a little bit but black... I complained to dominos through there website and I I got was. Sorry we apologies we haven't met your expectations this time. That's it.. We also ordered extra toppings to be applied eg there's a box where can order double the amount of cheese for example... This was never done. Papa Johns has a store adjacent to dominos and we have just gone there. My wife collected them and they even offered to help carry them to the car. They were also very nice. Dominos need to monitor their customer reviews more. I assume this Alton branch is a franchise? Surely they should have to conform to certain standards. Disappointing level of service and the attitude of the staff is disrespectful. My advice is to check the pizza before you leave and don't dare complain!!

I have had an awful experience with the Alton branch. My order was delivered and a sprite was forgotten. As asked by the delivery driver, I was told to call the store. I did so and was asked whether I wanted it delivered with the next order or refunded. I asked for it to be delivered as it was the only order my daughter had made.. she didn't fancy pizza tonight. We waited an hour and a half for the delivery and then decided to call and ask when it would be delivered. We were told it was refunded. Therefore, we were lied to. We have been waiting an hour and a half, missed the last shop and now will not receive the order. The person I spoke to on the phone initially was pleasant, I believe his name was Jostar. He was the person who said we would get a delivery. The person I spoke with when I called a second time was extremely rude, claimed it wasn't a big deal (appalling customer service), told me he was upset, claimed that I had misunderstood, and when I asked whether the free pizza I was promised as compensation could be jotted down on the email he was already sending with the refund receipt, I was told I had to trust him and that if I don't trust him there is no point me ever ordering from there again... that developed into a huge rant on his part about customer trust? When I said that I could just record that part of the conversation as confirmation if easier, he proceeding in telling me i was breaking the law and he was going to call the police on me now, and I will never be served again and he will refund me the whole order amount. This still hasn't been confirmed by email, as promised. The second person I spoke to claimed to be the "bigger manager", his name was Paban. I am absolutely appalled by this service. I have been threatened with the police, lied to and made to feel like I have done something wrong by asking if my sprite could be delivered when I was simply given that as an option. What was meant to be a special take out and movie night has been tainted and I am extremely upset. And for the information of the "bigger manager", it is not illegal for a customer to record a phone conversation for personal use. Only for the business to record without consent. As you "know all about the law", I figured this would be helpful information.

The App said my food had been delivered so I looked outside and saw the driver get out of his car, he walked around fir a few mins then got back in his car and drove away. I rang to say the app had said my food had been delivered and they said it was a mistake with the app and it would be with me in 10 mins. When the same driver returned I knew something was off. The Pizza's were luke warm and cut really strange, the potato wedges stone cold.

Absolutely terrible service, cold food which arrives over 1 hour late and no apologies from the staff. Given multiple chances for them to put it right and they couldn’t care less. Avoid this place like the plague as you will just be wasting your time and money.

As far as taste etc goes - it’s just like any other Dominos. They got the special order right and the delivery driver was polite. I also really like the tracking system that’s available. Like others have commented though, the out for delivery status on the tracking appeared quick enough, but actual delivery time was far longer. Food wasn’t as hot as I’d have liked.

Tried again after a few underwelming experience last year. The delivery was 30 minutes late and stone cold. Absolutely junk.

Our order was out for delivery for over 30 minutes, when it arrived it was stone cold and chewy... not what you expect for £40.. called to complain and didn’t get an apology. Just the feeling that my call was an inconvenience. Manager was atrocious and is clearly not up to the job! No refund was offered, despite asking. I shall not be using again. Such a shame as our old branch in Haslemere was great. Good job we received a leaflet for another local pizza take out just up the road.
