Second pizza in a long time but food quality and standards seemed to have improved hugely from previous really nice food guys thank you

Seriously disgusting! We ordered two vegan pizzas - vegan garden party and vegan bbq chicken. Neither came with any vegan cheese and about two pieces of onion on them for ‘toppings.’ I spoke to the restaurant the following day with photos and they said there was nothing they could do. Social media accounts said there was nothing they could do. Filed a complaint on 22/1 and have just received a response on 1/2 saying they can’t discuss the order with me as I’ve used a different email address to send the complaint in despite having all information including a screenshot of the order itself! I’ve never been so disgusted and appalled by customer service and a product.

Terrible service! An hour and a half after ordering, it finally arrived after three phone calls. When asked to cancel the order and give us a refund, we were told that this was not possible as there was no manager on site and they didn’t know when he would next be in! Lastly, on a 10 slice chicken pizza there were only 9 small pieces of chicken! We will most certainly not be ordering again!

got the works but had to drive back as it was little on the pizza one guy made me a better one as the rest of the staff were in a group chat in the kitchen very little was to keep place clean the pizza was better but I think the overn is turned down as the base was not cooked still soft think things are not going very well here as if the oven turned down meaning the base gets cooked so little toppings put on them this pizza chain need to inspect this one so owners need to make it properly stick to the right way as papa johns or quit

There is something fundamentally wrong with the service offered at this branch! First order placed about a 3 weeks ago over an 1hr 30mins later, 2 phone calls to chase it finally arrived… cold! Complained to HO and received a code for a free XXL pizza with a promise that the service would be reviewed. Decided to take up the offer of the free pizza today and no change to service offered. Over an hour for delivery sat on the tracker as quality checking and cutting for approx 45 minutes so just sat on the side getting cold out of the oven! Won’t be returning

Our pizza was absolutely, totally delicious but oreo dough balls just magic.

I like Pappa John's normally, they are my go-to pizza place if I fancy corporate junk food, but this franchise.....wow it's unlike any other PJs anywhere else in the country. Awful greasy pizza with hardly any topping.

Avoid don’t waste your money. One star is too many. Pizza had zero toppings handed it back to them they refused it. Refused to refund Refused another pizza Refused any form of customer service Refused to give manager contact details Apparently false advertising due to cut back you pay for less that’s what they said. Shocking service avoid this place spend your money elsewhere. Other customers walked out when they witnessed the dreadful service and what they consider an acceptable pizza due to cut backs.

I didn't know how to use app so went in and told them. They gave me the deal I wanted, however no real engagement apart from when I left shop. Food was not sliced properly and food was no more average. I expected a little better all-round .

Probably the worst pizza I've had, it was eatable, pepperoni pepper's onion, you couldn't see the pepperoni hardly any pepperoni on the pizza. Very disappointing

Served by a lovely woman over the phone called Hayley! Very friendly listener to my order and the pizza tasted incredible would come here again!

Average Ingredients, Average Pizza, Garlic Dip is like cheep Margarine just butter taste that coats your mouth! And agree with a previous review that the tracker is very inaccurate.

I hate to leave a review this bad but I've come home from a long day at work (I work in a and e as a surgon) I want a pizza before I had to go to bed and unfortunately I was not pleased with my visit for a start the pizza was uncut and very cold I also had to pull a long piece of brown hair out of my pizza the drink that I got was allready opened and my ben and jerry was liquid and fully melted and split everywhere it pains me to say as usually I love papa john but my experience was horrific.

The pizza is amazing, however the chicken pops are horrendous! Machine reclaimed chopped and shaped, they were firm to the bite! Chicken should never be that 😭 stick to the pizza!!

They have charged me twice for my order and I’m struggling to get my refund?? The manager or owner is extremely rude and obnoxious. Definitely wouldn’t recommend this branch.

Fastest service ever for a pizza (4.5 mins) whilst waiting for a bus

Pizza was ok standard, nothing to write home about. However the quality of food would have been slightly higher than the rating given, it is hard to park outside so I took my daughter who could jump out and jump back in, however they decided to ignore her and not ask her what she was doing in the shop. They dont deliver in most of bexhill so collection is the only option. My advice would be if they cant deliver dont collect, maybe my pizza would have been hot if they didnt leave my daughter standing there. I wont be going back

Ordered over an hour ago and they tell you pizza checked and cut half hour ago… so is it just sitting there getting cold or is that BS! Taste ok… nothing special for the price! Best to collect if u really want a pizza from here or don’t bother!

Pizzabase wholemeal, so pizza taste comprised; sparse toppings although tomato sauce was tasty.

Excellent service, very prompt and professional. The pizza was very good, almost authentic Italian in Bexhill! The tomato base they use tastes very fresh and the cheese was spot on without being greasy. Thoroughly recommend, especially if they have deals on!

So nice to have a Papa Johns in Bexhill. Finally a decent pizza joint.

Phoned at 11, when store said it was open only to be told to ring back when open.

Ordered at 7pm, hadn't even started to make them at 8pm. Went to store as no answer on the phone, to find a long line of angry people, some of whom had been waiting more than two hours. It was absolute chaos. No one knew what they were doing, the manager was making pizzas not organising or trying to solve the problems. They were frantically making pizzas but the team working the pass had no idea what they were doing so some had been sitting for a long time. They still tried to give the cold pizzas to people! After that they were just handing people whatever they had available as the queue got bigger and bigger and the phone rang off the hook. After more than 45 mins of waiting we were able to speak to someone to request a refund. I had to write my details on a scrap of paper and have no faith my £25.99 will be refunded or my info held securely in line with GDPR. Ended up going to Tesco for a frozen pizza as we had no money for anything else. Great end to my boyfriend's birthday!

Was served by a lovely woman called Hayley, I went into store to buy a pizza as they had not long just opened, was greeted with a smile and also told me what the best deal was at the time a true credit to the company. pizza tasted fantastic and the store is a nice addition to little common about time we had something extra tasty, would come here again 10/10 everyone was great.

Order and collection experience hilariously bad. However, the pizza and sides were top tier. Worth the misery if in the market for a grubby pizza. Tops dominoes.
