Papa John's Pizza in Bristol, City of

I ordered from here at least once a week for around 9 months. Always brilliant, orders never got mixed up. Unfortunately they have switched deliver system to Uber, probably to pinch some pennies. Unfortunately it takes twice as long to arrive and gets here cold. Its a shame cause I'm so near that the delivery people only took 10 minutes, now it's 30/ 45mins. No hate to the drivers or the staff, but it's a stupid decision by management. Now's a good a time as any to quit takeaway and save some pennies myself

they delivered order twice . one with no pepsi. which I was charged for and same order 5 min later. been charged twice. im disabled oap cannot aford£80+ for takeaway

I never thought pizza could make me sad, but here we are.

It was Monday night and we have waited 1.45 for our pizza! When it arrived it was lukewarm and not very enjoyable. There was no apology from the staff and the excuse was they are short staffed. This is not acceptable!!! prepare to wait at least 1 hour for your pizza on a slow Monday night.

Delivery was two hours late, cold and with wrong toppings. Save your evening and pick anywhere else. 🙏

That was probably one of the best pizza’s I have ever had. And the delivery driver was very professional and polite. Excellent pizza 5⭐️ service.

We love Papa Johns pizzas but won't have them again as they don't accept cash, so disappointing 😔

I ordered a pizza last week but was told when the delivery driver got here that they were not allowed to deliver in to any blocks of flats I was just wondering since when has this been the case I have ordered from you in the past few months a few times none of the previous delivery drivers have refused to deliver to my door I have a young baby who was asleep at the time but lucky my partner was home so he could go and get it before you say that it's all deliveries I also had a asda delivery and a Iceland delivery on the same night both of their delivery driver's came up to my door I'm abit confused to why you allowed me to order but then refused to deliver to my door

Really fresh and tasty pizza,the potato tots were lovely also,would say there was a lack of bacon bits but they were still lovely,would highly recommend

Just spent close to £30 to wait over an hour and a half for a pizza I'm having to reheat myself. Never had an issue with the other branches.

Food didn’t turn up at all and no one answering phone. If the shop is shut should have taken itself off just eat, not let us sit here for an hour getting p****d off and hungry

Just picked up a £5 medium pizza deal. BBQ meat feast. Cooked fresh to order. Absolutely delicious! What a great deal! Friendly service too. 5 stars!

Won't be having a take away from here again over priced pizza with the lack of toppings With all of restaurants and pubs closed during the lockdown last year They were priced quite cheaply and had deals then all of a sudden there prices shot up Without any deals Shame

Barely any toppings on the pizza. They should only sell cheese and tomato pizza. Very disappointed and I will not order again

Great takeaway well worth a try. The pizza is a favour in our house especially for moments like when of term or on a weekend when we can't be bothered to cook.

I ordered your pizza hoping for a swell treat for my birthday party however the delivery person was vegan and called me a killer over me ordering pepperoni they lobed the pizza at my baby who your pizza made me vomit on and burned my babys massive forehead i still cant get the mozzarella out of his eardrums so now he can only speak Italian thanks for listening hope you take my review into consideration

I've used Pappa Johns loads in the past but am today extremely shocked by the customer service i received by this (Fishponds) restaurant. It was the absolute pits, probably the worst I've ever experienced given the circumstances. We'd ordered pizza via the website for the Euro England Game, so the kids have something to enjoy with the game. I specifically ordered for 8pm (placed order around 2.30pm), checked and double checked! i.e. not going to mess this up! Pappa Johns, Fishponds delivered upon order i.e. ignored allocated time. When I phoned the store and raised this as a mistake on their part, I was told there's nothing they can do about it, must have been an issue at checkout online, and to contact HQ website. So as a result we've no pizza organised for the kids during the Euro England cup final. If you're just simply patriotic, or you just don't want to risk poor customer service, then I'd look elsewhere for a pizza! I will never use this venue again, why give custom to a business that has no respect for it's customers. Come on Pappa John's you're better than this!

Good value for money, a great place to order pizzas.

Placed order for delivery at 7:20, it then updated to 7:45 and it didn’t arrive until 8:15 This was for an end of shift takeaway and the fact I had to stay on in work for an extra hour is very frustrating. The store ended up closing and I was sat on the street! And top it all of the delivery driver was rude.

Awesone food, fast delivery , the pizza is really tasty fingerlicking good... cant wait for another order.

Ordered the 'Vegan Works' with stuffed crust and will be ordering this again in the future; it was really great. I think I clicked the wrong option when ordering as I choose collection rather than delivery. The staff there were very accommodating and arranged for my pizza to be delivered right away. Was super fast delivery, pizza was hot and delivery driver was really friendly. Would recommend.

Did you have a complete change of staff? I order a few times a month and have to say this is the worst pizza I have gotten from you. Order was wrong, pizza didn't have ANY sauce on it. Crust was flat (no taste) If I had wanted cheesy bread I would of ordered it! Maybe give these staff a few more lessons on pizza making?

Was good and bad, my choice wasn't best, vegan works I am veggie, cheese was horrible, I was given olives instead of mushrooms but wasn't told, like i wouldn't notice both black, the pizza was cold, the chocolate brownies were piping hot very nice, I'll never have vegan pizza again, it came 15 minutes early, they said 5.40 pm got it 5.25pm.

Menu said 35-50 mins Placed order and it said an hour Then it arrived in 15 mins - I wasn't home yet because it said it would be so late!

The pizza was very dry, and no free dip with it either.

The pizza itself was tiny. Quite frankly 16 pounds is a rip off. But the timely fashion it was delivered was stellar.

3 dips missing from the order and the pizza was not good. Vegan cheese was pretty awful and there was too much of it. Vegan pepperoni was dry. Hopefully they can improve on it in the future! At least there are vegan options now I guess..

Used this store several times. Never had any problems and enjoyed the food, although delivery was always slower than Pizza Hut and Dominos. However, last time I ordered it took almost an hour and a half to arrive, which isn't acceptable to say I live less than 1.5miles from the store. Had to ring to chase, and the guy on the phone was not really fussed and didn't get an apology from the driver. Appreciate these things happen, but the lackadaisical attitude combined with the excessive delay means I won't be using again and certainly wouldn't recommend.

Pizza was nice, DO NOT ORDER THE CHEESY POTATO WEDGES. Barely cooked potato slices with a disappointing amount of cheese, I did not eat it. How anyone could put that in a box and close the lid thinking 'that's a job well done' is beyond me.

I have ordered from you several times and have been more than pleased with the food and service. This time I was rather disappointed. The time of delivery was as always fantastic and pizza was hot when it arrived. I ordered three extra toppings costing £1.20 each. What I received was about 8 small pieces of onion along with maybe a 1/4 of one mushroom and a few black olives. My £3.60 bought me around 0.50p worth of extras. Very disappointed this time.

Hadn't had a Papa John's before, and although I was underwhelmed with the food presentation and the price, the pizza itself actually tasted really quite nice so overall I would recommend.

Pizza was not delivered, called to ask why and they claimed the buzzer didn't work and they didn't have my number. Turns out it did work and they do have my number with the order but they refused to re-deliver.

Pizza made in a Luke warm Fisher Price oven, with ingredients reclaimed from the bin scraps of one of the last remaining Littles Chef's in the country. I would rather eat damp cardboard from the gutter than give this sh**pit a second chance. Ruined a great Sunday night in...

Ordered a chicken club pizza and it came with no chicken or bacon. Had another one sent out which had the meat on it but a very skimpy amount. Not what you'd expect when the prices are so expensive
