horrible place. they never lift the phone. we cannot tract delivery

Sorry to say, looked very unhygienic in the store, no one using gloves.. I understand that the person making the pizza base can't use gloves due to dough stretching needs etc, but rest of them should have.. I ordered Friday evening and I understand it was very busy, and people were almost sweating and bulk orders were coming in, all the more reason to use gloves..

Save yourself the effort and cook. Ridiculous delivery times.

It’s very clear why this store is closing. Ordered online and after 50 minutes had no updates. After calling I was told the order is out for delivery. 15 minutes later after still not receiving the order, I called back only to be told the order never entered the system. If this is the way the company operates I wouldn’t expect them to be around for much longer at all.

Used to use Banstead now using Redhill and always collect every pizza I have had been spot on and excellent value as the collection deals also stuff are friendly and polite shop clean will definitely be back.

I ordered over £30 worth from them waited over 40 minutes, rung up to cheak where it was only to be told that they had not received the order at but they have charged me for it and they said that there's nothing they can do,so I will be going down to the store tomorrow and demanding a full refund,very very angry!!🤬😤😡.

I couldn't pay online for a delivery. Actually I spent 40mins trying to get my address to come up. Payment failed 3x from 2 different cards so FINALLY I rang to order. I was told that because it was a delivery I couldn't pay via phone only the appalling app which would not accept my money. I gave up & went elsewhere. Never returning to this place in the future. Well never TRYING to return to this place. I advise you to go elsewhere if they won't take your money. If they can't even manage to take my money then how on earth are they going to cope with making pizza?

Today we order pizza and waited for more than one hour for the delivery. We called the store and ended up cancelling the order and placing a new one for collection. We planned to have pizza for dinner and waited past 8, for no reason. We are very disappointed in the lack of service. Furthermore the pizza tracking system was very inaccurate and inefficient. Longest Pizza in the world! I’ve never got a pizza from here in less than 1hr and 45 minutes and that was the quickest! 🙄 Ridiculous. Comes out the oven and gets quality checked for over an hour??? Given them 4 chances (more fool me) and it’s the same EVERY TIME!

Ridiculous! 2 hours waiting, phone ringing through then get an answer saying it’s en route other rider fell off his bike, another 30 minutes decide to go to store and the food is sat on the side cold.. told if I want fresh food it will take another 30 minutes as they are too busy. Ordered for delivery, tracking showed that my pizza was waiting to be delivered for over 50 mins. I had already called the store multiple times, however, no one seems to answer the phone. When i finally got through to ask what was taking so long, I was told that they had had an issue with the updates and my pizza would be remade and fresh. An hour and half after ordering a cold pizza, and the wrong drink show up. Won't be making this mistake again.

This branch has been a joke for months. Ordered two medium pizzas two hours ago, still no sign of them. When calling, we are told that it’ll be ‘here in the next 5-10 minutes’ without even being asked for an order number or address. Last time we ordered the wait was over one and a half hours and ended up with called food. To top it off, they cannot cancel orders, we are told to ‘do it online’ which is also not possible, no option to request a refund, branch staff can’t do anything and corporate staff won’t. Not using them ever again.

Failure to display food hygiene rating. When asked they say they don’t know what it is. Collected two vegan pizzas due to allergies. When collected both pizza had meat on them and real cheese. Returned pizzas asked why they said they had run out of vegan products. AVOID AVOID AVOID

Edit... 3 weeks later and STILL HAVENT RECIEVED A REFUND!!!! Still waiting for my pizza to be delivered... It's been two hours now.... Twice I've rang up and been told two minutes and now ten minutes.... Wish id looked at the reviews online before ordering....

The worst experience ever , pizza arrived over 2 hours after ordering, cold undercooked with basically no ingredients on it contact with staff unreal been told that is on a way and should get it in 10min arrived after hour , delivery guy was eather on drugs or drunk . This branch needs new management or to be shut down. 3 hours for a pizza. Numerous phone calls to them and just lie after lie on when the driver would be here. In the end they asked me to come and collect it after telling me the driver was on his way 4 times. Wrong dips delivered. I called after the pizza was delivery to tell the manager this and the lady put me on hold and left me there whilst chatting away to other members of staff. Never known anything like it. Complained to head office and no refund just a free pizza code. I thought Thursday 3.30 can't be that busy I'll order my free pizza... I'm sat here still after an hour and a half with no pizza and a further lie on how much longer this will take. Honestly save yourself the bother and order elsewhere unless you fancy a cold, tough pizza

At least the last two times we've ordered from Papa Johns Redhill it's taken over an hour and a half to deliver and the customer service when we've called is awful and vague at best. We live less than 10 minutes away and it's mid-week! I think this has to be the last time we order from here, unfortunately.

Worst service ever, order took 1 hour 25 mins on a Wednesday night. The pizza and the sides arrived lukewarm. This wasn’t the first time. Never ordering from them again. Also ordered the special garlic dip and they put the wrong dip inside. This specific branch is very poorly managed. Must have called the branch 20 times whilst waiting for food, no answer to any calls.

Where to start.... completed my online order at 1841 on a cold and stormy Wednesday night and early awaited a cheeky papa johns pizza as a midweek treat. Now I know that pizza places can be busy and patiently waited until 2005 to ring up to see how it was going, I rang to be answered by the polite staff of papa johns with a welcoming "what?". Taken aback by this most courteous greeting I asked where my order was as politely as possible as you don't mess with people who handle your food. I got told it was five minutes away I passed on my thanks to the world's politest grunt from the papa johns staff. I had tears in my eyes from the amazing service I just recieved. Needless to stay like a dog awaiting their owners return I wagged my tail and looked out the window to catch a glimpse of the chariot that would deliver my order, alas nothing arrived. I tried calling the establishment again after waiting a further 20 minutes only to be left on the delightful pre recorded message of papa johns to which I can proudly say I know word for word. At the stroke of 2123 the driver arrived and handed my pizza to me with an expressionless "here you are" and I happily took hold of the order and placed it on my kitchen top. Regrettably i did have to turn on my gas hobbs to warm my hands up after taking receipt of the pizza for the fear of frostbite that I thought I was going to get from the temperature of the pizza box. I got my finest China out and loaded a slice of the pizza on the plate and took a satisfying bite out of it and all I can say is the immense taste of bland filled my mouth and the fact I had to chew one bite for what seemed an eternity due to the toughness, I have to say a midweek treat it was. When hell freezes over as cold as my pizza was delivered I may consider ordering from there again. Thank you papa jobns for the incredible experience. Oh an I waited 45 minutes before my battery dies on my phone without anyone answering. Such quality service

Ordered two large pizzas 17.18 waited until 19.00 tried to call papa johns Redhill no answer had to go out Ring doorbell show’s delivery arrives at 19.20 called the next day and was told to go through head office for a refund very poor service 2 hour wait for a pizza avoid !

Ive given them the benefit of the doubt and tried them a few times incase it was a fluke how awful they are BUT delivery takes FOREVER, cold when arrives, paid for extras usually missing (dips etc.), and today was the worst.. all of the above plus they made my pizza wrong and put a tonne of olives on it, entire pizza ruined in literally seconds (couldnt of been a worse topping). Definitely getting pizza hut next time.

We're extremely disappointed with the service from Papa John's Redhill. Each time we order delivery, it takes longer, and this time is no exception. Our pizza was ordered 40 minutes ago, and when we call we get fed nonsense about it just being placed in the oven and that there are only two people in the kitchen and one delivery person, so another recurring two hour wait. This experience is unacceptable, and this is the last time this branch will see us again!

Delivery time at the weekend is over an hour. More like 90 minutes, really. Caveat emptor. And indeed, sic transit gloria. If a man builds a machine, and that machine conspires with a machine built by another man, are those men conspiring? Also, and it's totally not a big deal, they delivered the wrong pizza. I ate it anyway, because who really cares at this point?

Yet another 2 hour wait… I’ve been ordering from papa John’s for over 2 years and the wait times are getting worse at time goes on, what started as a 30-40 minute turn around time, slowed to an hour, and now it’s a good day if food arrives earlier than an hour and a half… when you call you get lies and the customer service is abysmal. It’s unfortunate but I’ve given this branch ample opportunities but unfortunately it doesn’t appear like there’ll be any improvement as management and the brand just appear to be non existant.

I ordered food at 22.00pm and they said that my order aas delivered via tracking my order yet at 2330pm I have still not taken any delivery, ridiculous, taken my money but not delivered my food. And I can't even contact anyone till 10am tomorrow

I don't know where exactly the problem is at this branch, but I have a really bad experience with Redhill's Papa Johns. I was a happy costumer from more than 5 years ago in Croydon, but definitely I was, because when we moved to Merstham before 9 months ago first I was really happy to see Papa Johns next to me. Of course I ordered pizza once in August and everything was fine, then on 21st of October I ordered again for my daughter's birthday party, we waited for pizza more than 1 hour and a half and when the pizza was delivered it was cold. My husband spoke with a manager, and I closed my case on Pay Pal because we did a consensus, anyway tonight I ordered pizza again, and guess what?! We waited for delivery 2 hours. My husband was really angry and called to the branch more than 5 times, they just lied all the time, first for the address, then for something else. I don't know what to say, really bad service, I will not recommend it to anyone to order from here!!!

Called up half an hour later to cancel the order only to be told that they can't cancel it and I need to do it through the website. Absolutely useless. Ordered Dominos and it was here in 25 mins. Ordered delivery from here a few times and on the whole service has been fine, albeit there can be quite long wait times during busy periods. Yesterday I had a bad experience where the food arrived cold, missing dips (including extras that I paid for) and cauliflower poppers were of terrible quality. Phoned up to try and resolve and got hung up on, twice.

Late AGAIN! for a new store you’d think top draw sadly not the case here! Just ordered from here last night. I read the reviews on the place and was a bit reluctant but decided to go for it cos I shifted nearby and I dint want to close my options without trying. Ordered a medium 4 cheese pizza with pesto and extra garlic crust which came up to 10.98 pounds (7.99 without the crust). It was fantastic. They got it ready in 10 mins while I went to the sainsbury and picked up something next door. I had the hot fresh pizza with my wife who had recently sworn off pizza for a few months cos she was tired of it. Yet she loved it and left her own dinner to eat it. I am unsure if the management changed or if it is just better to order and collect in person but this was great for me and I know we ll be buying in from here on lazy evenings.

Rated one star only because it won’t let you give it zero. One of the worst papa Johns I have used. Order took over an hour to arrive and took a phone call to it delivered. When it finally did arrive it was cold. Had to take the pizzas back after being told it would be another 30 minutes to deliver replacements. Told me it would be ready in 20 minutes but still took over 30 minutes for 3 pizzas. Hugh amount of orders sat on the shelves under some tiny lamps waiting. No delivery drivers or riders there. Will not be using again. Another customer entered the shop as I left saying he had ordered via the app 90 minutes ago and no one was answering the phone.

I popped in to order a pizza. The food was fresh, piping hot, and delicious. The chaps working there were really friendly and engaging. Also the prices were good. I don't know what the moaners are on about. This is a great little pizza place.

Dry overcooked pizza. Raw dough balls. The Reigate branch was quality. Sadly the Redhill branch served up worse than frozen store bought. I suggest re-branding this store "BabyJuniors", instead of PapaJohn's.

God knows how theses people have a job. Been put on hold 6 times just to cancel it. Ordered a dominos while I waited on hold and it was out for delivery while they tried to find my order. Do us all a favour and just close. Update --- Dominos took 20 minutes and we were finally eating

Probably the worst Papa Johns I had to deal with so far, ordered from them twice in the last 6 months, first time I had to wait 90 minutes, now it's almost 2 hours and no pizza in sight, no one is picking up the phone, ridiculous service. If you are so busy surely you can afford to hire more staff? If not busy what the hell takes 2 hours? Just order from Dominos/Pizzi Hit if you live in the Reigate-Redhill area, they are way quicker.

Ordered food, half order arrived. Tried to call store and no answer after 10 mins. Managed to get through to delivery driver who said the food was being remade however this never happened.

Took an hour and 20 minutes for delivery 5 minutes down the road. Called after 45 minutes and was told it they were busy but it was ready and it would be with me in 10 minutes. They ignored my following calls until I called from another mobile, when it finally arrived it was the wrong drink and they forgot the extra dips we paid for.

Called them after 40 mins as the pizza status remain unchanged and the staff lied it’s done and on its way and it’s the driver’s fault. After 10 mins the status changed to baking in oven!!! Finally after an hour and 10 mins the pizza arrived.

How is it that the Domino’s across the road from you can deliver a HOT pizza in 30min nearly every time but you guys can’t? I’ve ordered from this papa johns a few times now and each time it’s been very poor, always a long wait for food to be delivered and it’s always cold on arrival. The quality of service and food from papa John’s has gone downhill in recent years and they won’t be getting anymore custom from me! Thought I’d add that I did phone the same evening to complain and was offered a refund which I accepted. Sure enough the refund never arrived even after chasing it up! Absolutely useless, Ordered a pizza at 8PM come 9PM we are told the driver could not find our address yet had our tele number on the order. Called back and they offered to get another on out, 45mins later nothing so were at 1hr45mins from a store that is less than 3 Miles from our location. . . called again and apparently the driver was in an accident. Find this hard to believe considering the reviews here. Don't order from here !

Regular pizza orderer When this store first opened it was fantastic the management was brilliant and always ontime and piping hot. I order 2/3 times a month and recently this place has gone down hill. Getting cold food or pizzas taking 3 hours to be delivered. I've complained to head office about this multiple times who don't see to actually care. I've started using pizza hut again witch is a real shame as papa John's is best pizza take away going but I can't use them any more in my local area.

Only order of you like to be hungry for a long time and eat cold pizza. The time it takes for them to deliver is appalling and you actually pay for delivery.

Just received our food, every item was wrong. Ordered 2 vegan pizzas, one came with normal cheese and the other had meat on! I haven’t eaten cheese or meat in 2 years! When calling to complain they were of no help! That’s dinner wasted and £32 down the drain. DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE!

Order some food for delivery online. Processed as a collection. Called in and they told me they could deliver. Let me know 30 minutes later that they couldn't and they were not able to process a refund. A week later I still have not received a refund. Terrible

One hour to get the pizza in the oven, 40 min to check and cut. Still waiting for them to box it up and deliver it. It better be made from scratch with pepperoni delivered from Italy and and with gold leaf on top if the pizza and the driver better be wearing a suit.
