Papa Johns in Sutton

The food was fine, although it could have been warmer. However, we were really disappointed that our order arrived NINETY minutes after ordering. On a Tuesday night, not even a Friday or Saturday. I had to phone and chase them up as we'd been waiting so long, and was assured my order would be with me in 8 minutes. 20 minutes later it turned up.

Quick food service and always consistent

Not the best Papa John's I've had, chewy and not much cheese on the pizza. The tater totts had a small sprinkle of cheese in the middle and a while 4 small squares of bacon. Not worth the money, especially as the delivery driver pushed the front door open before I answered the buzzer and released the lock, thus broke it!

Ordered via Just Eat. Was very late; one part of the order was replaced; the restaurant then cancelled the order but delivered a cold pizza all the same; refund refused. As a 'cancelled' order it cannot, of course, be reviewed on Just Eat. Very poor service all round, which seems on reading the reviews to be pretty much the norm for this restaurant.

Not tasty at all. NO extra cheese as paid for and almost cold, which is the worst. Will never order again from Carshalton shop,as before never had this terrible experience with Banstead shop. Really shame..

I ordered from here last night. I waited a long time for the delivery, the tracker was not updated so I couldn’t even see the expected arrival time. The crusts on the pizza and garlic bread taste burnt and the chicken only came with 9 pieces not 10. Next time I’ll stick to dominoes!

Waited 1h for delivery, 45 minutes after their tracker said it was cooked. Food was barely warm and rubbery. Toppings were sparce as well.

Medium pizzas more like a small size. Would not order again, expensive and not very good.

I ordered from Papa John's Carshalton at 11pm but they cancelled the order as they close at 1130 which is fine, but I have not received my refund and it has been well over a month.

Took over an hour for delivery, which by corporates standard is very slow. They also forgot to put in 2 dips that I paid for. Yes it’s only £1, but that’s still £1 I’ve worked for. The garlic bread with cheese tastes just like the awful fake butter garlic dip they give for free and so we couldn’t eat it. The pizzas and chicken side were nice however, and that’s why I’ve awarded 3*. Have had worse deliveries in my life but I’ll not be ordering from here ever again.

I’m ordering regularly from here and was always happy with the food and delivery but today was some technical issue and the order didn’t go through. After an hour I called a restaurant and inquired about the delivery time and only then found out the food was not even being made. I can absolutely appreciate that, things happen. What I didn’t like is how the situation was shrudded off as if I was waiting 10minutes, even the delivery person didn’t say one word, not to think there could be some gesture from restaurants side for such a long waiting. And the sauces you are giving with the food especially the “garlic” one is really inedible, it’s absultely artificial and terrible. It’s ruining taste of the food. What happened to good old herb and actual garlic sauce? The bbq one is also terrible and I’m almost concerned these sauces could cause harm to a human body.

I am extremely disappointed with the customer service. I’ve ordered a pizza not knowing there was pork in it, I’ve called the restaurant to explain that we don’t eat pork, hoping that they would change the pizza. Instead they started screaming over the phone, and defending theirselves. Which was really rude, I’m just so shocked and mostly disappointed. All they could have done is swap the pizza, instead of making the situation so long. When I asked if I could speak to the manager they said the manger wasn’t here. I wouldn’t consider anyone ordering from this place, it’s a NIGHTMARE!!!!! Looking back to previous reviews seems to be repeating itself.

Food was hot and nice when delivered, but it took an hour to get here after having called them twice. I live 5 minutes away and it should have taken 20 minutes. It took an hour because they didn't check their incoming orders. No apology, one of the guys I spoke to over the phone kept talking over me, wasn't listening to what I was saying so kept having to repest myself. Not observant, next time I'll just collect.

Disappointed stuffed crust cheese was like rubber and paid for ground beef got about 10 bits, all in all pretty nasty.

Yuck.. ordered pizza on boxing day, today took over an hour from order to delivery and it arrived stone cold.. unedible... Also gave the driver a fiver tip as it was boxing day... Not chuffed!!!

Food was luke warm. Pizza was ok but I've had better. Delivery was late for whatever reason. I won't be rushing to order from here again.

Monday 12/12/22 . 20:27 Food was delivered cold with a hair in it spoke to the 'manager' who refused to give me his name over the phone and didn't apologise about the hair in my food and told me 'these things happen what do I want him to do about it' very rude and highly unprofessional. Didn't refund my food Can not believe the level of rudeness and unprofessional Last time eating with them

Called to find out where my order was and the man on the phone knew exactly who I was without me even saying anything - very polite and helpful.

Had an awful experience ordering from here. They had "technical problems", but took 2.5 hours and 2 requests for an update for them to tell me that they had given up on sending my order.

Missing items. I ordered 1.5 l tango not 500ml tango

I ordered food and I didn't get it. I called them but no response. I felt so bad for not being nice for the costumer.

The staff are friendly and the waiting time was not bad at all. Can't complain the pizza was yummy 👍

My food was inedible as you asked for no pork as I am Muslim and the driver gave me Pepperoni pizza. I called the restaurant and they didn’t help me. So my food was inedible and left me and my mother hungry for the night.

Joke of a place rang them an hour after I ordered which was 20 min after delivery time and they forgot to make my order so I received it nearly 30 min later and they forgot half of my order still

ordered food at 4.40pm with a wait of 30 minutes, That didn't happen, Phoned the restaurant was told that they didn't even have my order and it would be a further 30 -40 minutes that didn't happen either, Phoned again was told driver was in the way, waited another 30 minutes then was met by a rude delivery driver who was kicking my Security door to my block and was then handed a Stone cold and anaemic pizza, Never had any problems before but as you can imagine on this occasion I was not happy, Sort it out Papa Johns 😠

Chicken sides were nice but everything else was pretty awful. Garlic bread, dips, pizza and tater tots have made me feel extremely sick, we have eaten 1 slice each and that’s all. Called the shop to explain, manager was so unhelpful and kept saying ‘it’s your problem, your taste must have changed’. This is my first order with Papa Johns and I will not order again. We explained that we don’t want a refund for the entire order as the chicken was nice, but the entire rest of the order totalling £60 was terrible. The manager continued to say that it’s our problem and he’s not going to do anything about it. He said that the only decision to be made is if we decide to order from them again - which we definitely will NOT be doing. Never one to complain, but was so disappointed with this experience.

Best pizza place in Morden/Sutton area in my opinion.

Pizza today was crusty with not lots of cheese as usual , when I eat 1 slice I feel like I eat only Brest where the test I’m asking you? The chocolate brownie must be overcooked from frozen - you can’t eat that at all the freshness was not from fresh just from frozen and cooked back again - please improve papa johns because seems you go done to 1 star only - sorry!

Slow delivery, had to warm up in microwave for a few seconds.

Normally they are good but not impressed this time, not a lot of toppings and was rubbery and didn't feel satisfied good job I never paid full price definitely not worth £20 per pizza.

Placed an order 2 hours ahead of the specified delivery time. It was then delivered over 35 minutes later then the time it was ordered for. I’ll go elsewhere from now on.

Food ok but after waiting an hour longer than delivery slot 3 quarters went in the bin. Will definitely not use this rogue outfit again. Should definitely not be allowed on Just Eat. Do yourself a favour an order from a decent pizza outlet and avoid this one like the plague

The football deal is very nice - pizza was fresh with lots of cheese and very tasty we enjoy it too much -100 times I recommended this restaurant than other , 5star !!!

My order came late almost 20 mins Wasn’t the delivery guy’s fault cos the food was still quite warm I tried to call the restaurant, it rang until disconnected I called 6 times I placed my order at 19:27 and we got the food 20:43 More then one hour hour wait for a pizza I think its ridiculous I started to make some food at home cos my husband was that hungry I ordered mountain dew and i got Tango orange This guys really need to work on their costumer service skills I don’t want any refund, but a notification by phone or text anyhow would be nice if its that busy so it will be late Or some extra product for free as a compensation for the glitch Very unprofessional the Carshalton branch is We won’t order from there anymore Its a shame, because the food actually quite nice

Pizzas are always very good, both the gluten free and the original. The web tracker on their site is not accurate at all. It says it's on the way for 20 minutes and it's only a 7 minute drive to where we live. Its not traffic for sure cause this happened over 5 orders. Also it says that its been delivered and we usually need to wait 5/10 minutes more for the pizza arrive. Other than that Pizzas were always very good!

A scheduled delivery was ordered 2 hours ahead of the delivery time. Past 20mins and no signs of the delivery. Pathetic service.

Ordering was easy and the food was delivered well before its estimated time, however very disappointed in the portions especially the chicken bites which for £4.99 for 10 and they turn up the size of a £.10 piece we was extremely disappointed, as the picture they show on their website is completely different to what you receive, very disappointed will not be ordering again.

Some of the slices had virtually no topping. The base tasted kind of rubbery or undercooked. Generally not great pizza but the delivery was quick and polite at least.

A pleasure to eat their pizza’s. The price on the other side is quite ridiculous and wouldn’t order from them unless there’s an offer on.

Papa John’s is always excellent that’s why I always order pizza from them here in Carshalton 👍🏼

Restaurant ignored my delivery note, pizza was squashed and cold.

I spoke to papa John’s and they apologised for being a bit late but order was on its way as soon as I got of the phone they knocked at the door. Food was lovely and hot keep up the good service

It would be helpful if delivery driver rang the door bell then we would know the food is here! Good job my 2 big doggies heard something and started barking. Pizza 🍕 was nice. Cinnamon swirls were nice. Chocolate brownie however was as dry as a bone. My son couldn’t eat it and that’s really saying something!

1st time i've ordered from papa Johns and maybe the last. Pizza pretty rubbery, Cheesey jalapeno bites were horrible and the potato tots were under cooked. Not the most exspensive pizza place so i guess you get what you pay for.
