Papa John's in Hillingdon

I ordered from here twice in one week while staying at a hotel near Heathrow Airport, and I loved it! The pizzas are absolutely delicious—so much so that everyone in the hotel lobby looked on with envy, clearly wanting a slice. I highly recommend ordering directly through their website for a smooth experience; the pizzas arrive via a food courier who always calls to let you know they’re outside. The lady who handles the calls is fantastic—very helpful and honest about delivery times, keeping you well-informed about your order status. Excellent service and amazing pizza!

This place is a bit smaller, you can’t dine in there, parking is limited, but service and staff are great and pizzas are delicious.

Extremely rude behaviour , didn’t expect from papa John’s staff . Thy didn’t pick the phone , called 7 times . Whn i went to the shop and said why u not picking up the phone , thy said card machine is not working so we are not taking anymore orders . It was shocking , thy could pick up the customer call and explain them the same. Thy didn’t gave suggestions that I can order online , one more lady was waiting too for same reason . Whn I said can I order online , he said u can try but he’s not sure weather it will come to store or not . Such a shameful customer service . The other guy on shift was still helpful but this guy in photo should not be in customer service or guest relation position .

Pizzas arrived barely warm and also undercooked, first time from this branch and really disappointing

Serves RAW CHICKEN. Never order from this place every again when I spoke to somebody on the phone he told me that, that’s how they cook the food there and they follow the temperatures that they should cook the chicken in. Pizza had hardly any chicken and looked horrible.

The driver came with the 2 pizzas which I ordered online. Unfortunately he called me on my mobile and adviced me to come on the main road to collect the pizzas instead of delivering at my home, as he was in the car. Shame, his name is Karan K.

Horrible experience!!! If you are looking for late night food then this is the place NOT to go … they essentially lied and said that Uber couldn’t leave my order at the front desk even though the front desk knew to give us a call once food arrived. When speaking to a worker there I was told that the Uber didn’t deliver the food because I had an international number (even tho they could’ve left it at the front desk as I had let them know I was waiting on a food delivery) and that I have two options either they try to send my food out again and I would wait another 40 mins or just they would just cancel my order. But when talking on the phone the worker just tried to keep canceling my order even tho we had discussed the fact I had two options and ofc I was trying to chose the first since I had spent 34 dollars (21 euros) to receive my food which was just a medium pizza but it got to the point to where I had to be kinda rude just to get the first option then was told well if you don’t get it then it’s kinda your fault (which again I had done everything right on my part and me being rude was just saying like hey you gave me two options and you’re not even acknowledging the first option ) and now they refuse to answer my calls as I’m just trying to cancel my order at this point but I can’t! SO AGAIN DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME AT THIS LOCATION!!!!!

Ordered a large vegan works pizza with a barbecue sauce base, instead of tomato sauce base due to allergies. However the pizza came incorrectly as uploaded in the picture and I have a video of this which I am not able to upload. This was ordered from the Papa John’s in Hayes branch. Looking at the label, which was wrong in the first place. The pizza had no drizzle of barbecue sauce either as per box labeled (which was also wrong as I have mentioned that I ordered the pizza with a barbecue sauce base NOT barbecue drizzle!). When I called the branch, Fernandez claims to be the shift manger. His customer service is appalling and his attitude is repulsive and arrogant towards us. He shows absolutely no remorse for his and his co workers mistakes. He has refused to replace and deliver the pizza as when originally ordered it was part of the delivery service. We were on the phone to him for 20 minutes and he did not resolved the matter, instead he continued to argue with us over the phone instead of rectifying his mistake. Whilst arguing with us, he “claimed” that there was no specific instruction to replace the sauce base with barbecue sauce instead. He also “claimed” the barbecue drizzle was place under the cheese on the pizza.That was not the case! I find that it is a pathetic excuse instead of admitting that he was in the wrong. This could have all been avoided and saved all of us time if he just identified and fixed his mistake and send us another pizza with the right instruction and deliver to us.

I have been charged twice for the same order and I would like you to refund the £23.54 back into my account.

The order never arrived. Some of delivery drivers are beyond terrible, it’s a shame that some of the drivers think it’s ok to behave the way they do

Some reason last review removed???? Worst papa John's I've had. Had three orders where pizza wasn't cooked properly and tasted disgusting so didn't order again. Was just about to give it another try , then I read all the bad reviews and decided against it. Never had a problem in any other papa John's just seems to be the one in Hayes for some reason?

Food ordered money taken but nothing arrived and when phoned after them putting it down multiple times told my my order don’t exist

Delivery was over two hours late. Person on the phone informed me that the food couldn’t be delivered as a driver hadnt been assigned/driver collected and broke down & food on the counter. As soon as a complaint was put in at just eat the food got delivered cold. Order created at 2350 & food delivered at 0155.

I ordered the Works pizza as I fancied something premium that wasn't pizza express. OMG this was the most disgusting pizza I have ever eaten. Even the Iceland frozen pizzas are 100% better. No wonder their stores are closing down. I had 2 slices on the large and the rest went in the bin. A was of money and a disappointing eat. No surprise this chain is going to close

Good food, however it was only lukewarm when it arrived..

It was an amazing experience. Food is accurate and hygiene safe .staff was friendly and very attentive ( harpreet kaur) .I would love to be come again and hopefully get same experience that I receive from the staff member of Papa John's

ordered pizza's from uber eats. Sauce dip was thrown in middle of hot pizza. Imagine all that plastic on hot pizza. They dont even cut it properly. packaging was poor and pizza was stuck to the top of box. Waste of 50 pounds and crooks uber eats wont even refund

I don't know why the low ratings. I have had a few orders from this store and the pizza has always been on point. And I am a person who likes my pizza tasty and hot. The delivery has been good too.

Food not presented properly. The potato tots had bits from the fryers thrown in the box. Wings were cold, not even the buffalo sauce that we ordered. Did not have courtesy to call and let us know they had no buffalo sauce. Found paper on a chicken wing that looked like baking paper. Had to ring 6 times till call answered. Rude on the phone. Bad service, presentation and food. Spoke to someone called Raj, who said to ring next time to get a free dip. Shocking & disappointing!

The food was cold - not even warm ! Tried calling and no1 answered! What a waste of money - will make sure everyone knows how bad it is ! Don’t waste your money ! You’re better off with a frozen pizza

The pizza was tiny compared to the description, there was no cheese at all and the crust was burnt. It was inedible. I had to order from a different place after wasting my money

Horrible place took ages for delivery and food was cold by the time it arrived. Delivery driver delivered food knocked on window and asked me to take a picture of the food and then I took his phone took a picture. He then knocked again this is twice now and was recording my property without my permission and his cameras flashlight was on taking pictures of my doorstep and filming me. I went back in and closed the door. Absolutely horrible service and creepy and unacceptable behaviour by the driver will not be ordering again

I have been ordering PapaJohns pizzas for a very long time. Lately almost every order came with some issues, like wrong drink or dip etc. Used to get food really hot as I live close to the branch, but not lately. Today I received my food totally cold. I am done with this company. If you want to pay premium price for a cold pizza, go ahead, but I am done.

Ordered delivery, pizza's came and where a heap of mess. Rang store offered a free next time, but requested new pizzas.

Horrific. Ordered, paid, received email confirmation. An hour later I rang the store to be told they never received the order even though I gave them the order number, details etc. Wouldn't even refund me, had to dispute on PayPal. Trash store, terrible customer service, rude staff.

The food is great, it is always on time.

Upon delivery the driver dropped my side, its an accident, it happens. The restraunt manager I spoke to told me he would get a replacement out but it would take a few hours, I said no problem. I called 3 hours later, the manager said he sent a third party driver with my replacement and it should have arrived, it didnt. He then said theres nothing he can do and was quite rude. It is the stores job to have reliable drivers. I still didnt get my full order or a refund

They sent pizza delivery too late and it was so cold. I did complain about they said will send next time free pizza but now they don’t know nothing what they did promise. Bad service will never order again from them .

Very disappointed with the pizzas. 1) The dough was thick as a bread roll and hard. Toppings were next to nothing. 2) the size ordered was XXL, if this was XXl i wonder what is small & large. One thing is for sure not going back there again. Absolutely disgraceful.

Firstly the Vegan cauliflower wings came raw and tasted absolutely disgusting. Made a complaint and was offered a free pizza; which was good customer service. However, the free pizza came with an extra topping, a long 'hair'...which i had to pull out of mouth. We don't expect this from name brand pizza establishments.

The presentation may be good, the ingredients and flavour may be good, but for a Pizza to work, just those won't suffice. Pizza should be delivered warm and be eatable (not dry). The ones we received today was COLD, DRY totally overshadowing our evening. Food used to be good here at the Hayes branch. The online tracking showed pizza as delivered around 40-45 minutes since order was placed. However Pizza was only delivered around 65-70 minutes from the point of order (and that too after paying a Delivery fee). And this has happened before. I rang up the branch to check why online tracking showed as Delivered. I was told - Don't worry, it will be delivered. I checked again, But what if it was delivered to someone else, Don'y you want to take my order number and check. I was told - Don't worry, it will be delivered. The person who took the phone was simply not interested to help. Makes me think, if the data is fudged to indicate pizza is delivered on time when in reality it is not. Bye bye Papa Johns. This was the last time. After this review, I am going to request my account details to be deleted from your systems as I do not intend to return again.

They got my order wrong and hung up on me when I tried to get it sorted This is the worst food place I've ever had to deal with. If you go there you are gonna be shocked with how poorly they'll do their job... Company's fault, I suppose. Or maybe the customers for being okay with it!

Horrible Pizza ! The pizza base was so hard. Felt like eating a stone. When called them all they said was sorry. Wasted my £30. Had to trash it. Never ever ordering from them. Specially the Hayes Branch- Worse Customer Service.

Pizza was rushed when making hardly any cheese pizza sauce only in the middle of the pizza so when you pick up a slice all the topping slide off they give you more crust than the actual pizza never ordering papa Johns ever again they need to do a quality check

The waiting time is about 15 minutes for the release, but it's worth the wait 😊 I recommend it

They dont even deserve a star!!! This was a very very bad service. First they lied about my pizza being delivered and then said they were bringing fresh pizza but it was actually the old undelivered pizza. When I got it the seal had been opened already. So i then had to wait another hour to get fresh food. The customer service was absolutely terrible. I will never ever order from here again.

I am lactose intolerant so I order vegan pizza and vegan ice cream, they run out of vegan ice cream and give me regular ice cream instead without even telling me and I only realise after a few mouthfuls. I had to have two days sick off work and they didn't refund me and barely cared. I also recorded the phone calls so don't deny it.

Very bad experience pizza is just awful.

The pizza was okay but the bottom of the pizza was very hard and inedible, the pizza was quite bland as well. This is our first time ordering from this shop which is also going to be our last. The tater tots also had no flavour.

19.03 Pizza ordered 19.51 called store, told driver shortage, but pizza won’t be cold 20.05 pizza still being prepared and not in oven? 20.12 pizza delivered cold 20.14 called store, on hold for 3 minutes whilst I listened to staff serve customers, could hear other customers complaining, came back to me and said I could have a refund or new pizza, but I have to call tomorrow as shift manager has gone home for the evening.

Even one star seems a bit generous. We had a nightmare getting our pizzas delivered. We had a call from the driver saying they had arrived. We were outside waiting and there was no delivery person. 20 minutes later, he did arrive drove straight past us. Who knows where he had been as the pizzas were stone cold. Chicken side was also stone cold, pink inside and inedible.

Generally okay. Sometimes not up to standard e.g they didnt slice the large pizzas properly we purchased the last time. We had to pull out our own pizza slicer and complete that task at home

I visited this store yesterday and staff was extremely professional.Felina made pizza for me within 7-8 minutes.Sitting area was clean and tidy.Would love to visit to this store again.

Our order took 1 hour and 20 mins to arrive. I called after an hour of waiting & was told driver is en route. The restaurant is 9 minutes away so why did it take the driver more than 25 minutes to reach. Then driver arrived with half the order. He said the kitchen staff forgot to make the other pizza?! When I called up restaurant, they wanted 45 more to make & deliver 2nd pizza. I requested a refund as well as 2nd pizza due to delays and mismanagement of order. They declined. They did not want to compensate me with both. So I took the refund and fed the family cereal for dinner. They ruined a great family night with 0 empathy. I will never return to this branch.

Rude staff and Replacement Order Late.when asked for an Replacement Meal for the 1 pizza that arrived cold on 05 November 2021.and now on 19 November 2021 they don't bring the order on time or at all.if pizza arrives cold one more time. Incorrectly gives "updates" of pizza preparing process, but when I called them an hour after order they said they had only just seen order and not started preparing the order. Took 1hr 45 to get the pizzas.

Enjoyed my first taste of a PJs but thought prices were extortionate. Fortunately I spotted a deal that offered pizza, drink & side for less than the pizza on its own. Food was tasty.

So what can I say about this place , my worst experience ever , my order was placed @18.45 pm the pizza arrived at 19.30 pm in condition not hand-able, half crushed , so driver said il ring and branch and get them to make it again and will only take 10-15 mins , so at 20.15 I called branch and I get told it’s going to be another 30 mins , . Really poor no explanation just simply the pizza is fine the driver sent me the picture ! Can you imagine ordering a pizza half crushed ! on top of all this no apology at all .simply we are busy . Then finally it arrived @ 20.33

If I could give this -5 stars I would the customer service is atrocious! He started arguing with us! I have been waiting for my pizza for over 1 and a half hours! This is a awful shop and the customer service is even more worse. I will definitely be telling all my friends and family to never order from papa john's ever again. Extremely disappointed with you guys not gonna lie but USED to have a lot of respect for you guys cause of the great pizzas that you used to make but waiting for 1 and a half hours for a pizza then getting argued with is unreasonable.

Ordered a drink to go with my pizzas. The pizzas came but the drink was forgotten so the delivery driver said he would be back in 15 minutes with the missing drink. He never returned.

Very disappointed with the service. It took more than 2.5 hours to get my pizza delivered. Very late service spoiled my mood.😑

Always feel sick after ordering

My first time ordering from the Hayes shop for delivery and is definitely the last! The online side of ordering was ok and straight forward and that's about the only good I can say. The tracking app is a waste of time, I placed my order at 18.05. It said my order had been delivered at 18.45 when it eventually arrived at 19.20! I did call the shop at 18.50 and when someone eventually answered I got told to call back in 10 minutes which I did. I then got asked to call back when it arrived which I find very odd because I could still be waiting now 😅 When the good did arrive it was obviously cold and to be honest I couldn't be bothered to speak to the shop again. I won't make this mistake again.
