McDonald's in Hillingdon

Jun 2022: Good service, and they always get the order correct even with special requests. Edit Mar 2024: 3 orders in a row with more than 2 things incorrect. This is the worst mcdonalds, and I will no longer use this restaurant. I feel like the staff are intentionally messing up online orders as an internal joke between them and the manager must have changed to a incompetent one.

This McDonald's is the best by far, the food is always lovely and the staff are lovely too the only problem is the thousands of delivery driver's sat outside and all over the high street. But I suppose that's every high street in the country now.

The temperature in there was cold, otherwise it was good.

The food is still very tasty, but we were not so lucky cause when we went there , the coffee machine was broken and it's winter time..

went into the toilets and there was a pigeon scranning a double cheeseburger. not happy.

I’m used to testing all the Macdonald’s restaurants in every country I go to. What I usually order is the Big Mac, fries and some drinks, basically the standard stuff that every Macdonald’s in every country has. And the results are pretty consistent I must say. There were some countries that were slightly worse than others, but overall I can say that it’s the same Big Mac and the same dry fries, 3 star is only for the food Went to roundswell Barnstaple McDonald on 5 star occasions One occasion ordered Christmas burger , cheeseburger fries and two apple pies only got one cheese burger and fries and two apple pies , happened again on second trip two days later and again on third trip sat 16/12/23 . Got fed up each time complained to customer care but still this short changing is happening so not going to this one again . Just check your food , in store

Good place to dine in or take away .. unfortunately no drive through .. there is a car pay and display car park behind the shop ..

We ordered through uber eats 3 big macs and 3 drinks which sounds simple enough, but we get 6 drinks and no food. We contacted uber and they told us to contact McDonald's in Ruislip, which we did an no one could be bothered to answer the phone. So after a 150 mile drive in my car home I then have to go back out in my car with 6 drinks and drive to Ruislip. No apology and no refund of any kind for the inconvenience. Don't use Ruislip McDonald's for delivery.

Kicked out us and said I was too messy last week. But I always clean up the tables after me. And always tell to my friends to clean as well. Maybe they hate us because of language, cause I speak with my friends on Russian, but all of us from different countries like Latvia, Ukraine, Lithuania. So maybe they are racist? Who knows…

Seen a lot of staff come and go over the years, one who stood out to me recent who always has a smile on his face is Ethan. Super friendly and definitely boosts staff morale!

Most of the downstairs area is now taken over by deliveries. Delivery men hang around in large numbers, taking up the few downstairs seats and clogging up the parking spaces outside with their scooters - obviously they never buy a ticket. Not a particularly pleasant atmosphere. Almost preferred it when the place was full of obnoxious teenagers.

Used the app & this restaurant failed to put the food in the bags because it was delivered had to phone Uber even thou it was the restaurants fault, two people are now without food. Well done great service..!!!!!NOT.

Nice clean Restaurant, with self ordering sytem. Nor much seating is available on the ground floor as they did reorganised the shop area during covid.

McDonald's Ruislip high street shop is a good option for a quick and cheap meal. No drive through available. Need to park outside. Food and staffs are good. Seating on the first floor. Overall good experience for me and family on this restaurant. Highly recommended.

Honestly I would give 0 stars but it won't even let me rate that low. I've been to so many McDonald's and this is the one and only one that I have encountered a problem EVERY SINGLE time.... they never get our order right. We have ordered through the app and they never give enough fries when we order large. They literally just put medium portion in the large cup.... this is literally the 5th time where there were items missing from the order. Tbh fed up now. Not going to bother trying with them anymore. You're better off going to any other McDonald's literally.

Missing items in meal, again. I keep trusting the service, bad mistake. I think I need to do a check list read with the staff next time. Staff need retraining. The Rubbish staff.

So many great places to eat in Ruislip. I really should have ventured further into the high street to discover other unknown gastronomic pleasures. I will learn from this next wedding anniversary.

Luke Warm Food after a 7min Wait? Not really Fast food or Good Food anymore. It's the same For McDonald's all over the UK. Self service kiosks = Reduced Staff = Longer wait for lower quality food. Bring Back Counter service Stack up the Burgers ready to go. Keeping cooked Pattties in Sweaty plastic trays is not what McDonalds was Ever about. How did it all Go so wrong so fast? The human element has been so far removed that it feels like a robotic experience. Not a Fast food "Restraunt". Lets just note we don't Chose Mcdonalds for the Health Benefits We choose it for Speed and Convenience if it no longer is Cheap fast and Convenient why Bother? Lot's of equally Slow Fast Food Places in the vicinity. Take your time choose Wisely.

Everytime we order online, you mess up and someone doesn't get what they ordered. It's all very well that UBER refunds us, however we just want what we ordered. I didn't want my money, I just wanted my order.

For the first time McD had got a menu for which was waiting since long MC SPICY. So Ordered with the excitment and always never disappointed any time but this time out of excitement got Mc Spicy but the patty was very hard seems like it was cooked for long time. It was not chewable also it was very and disappointing.

Bought a Mc crispy and they replaced the chicken with a chicken sandwich burger! Was most disappointing! Boring to say the least! Unappealing and not appetizing at all!

Poor experience and will never visit again. We visited on Saturday with our grandsons at around 2pm to find that all of the seating downstairs has gone and has been replaced by a screened off area designated for the motorcycle delivery drivers. We went upstairs to find most of the seating taken up by delivery drivers eating and generally socialising. They clearly don't want or need people to eat in as they get more income from home deliveries which are expensive when the delivery and then the admin charges are added. On the rare occasion that we have had a home delivery the food is barely warm and we have to re-heat it. We certainly will NEVER be patronising McDonalds Ruislip ever again.

Ordered take out noticed they forgot 1 item prompted them Got home to find rest of order incomplete ended up with a main missing and 2 portions of extra fries No one answering the phone as continues to ring untill cuts off Would suggest check your order before leaving every time

I can't even give a zero star on today's service, I ordered a happy meal for my kid which did not arrive. I could not even call the store to check up on the order all I was told to contact the delivery company. So disappointed, I have had to reorder now and my kid unfortunately needs to wait again for another 30-40 mins until he gets his order!

This McDonald's is a very good one and represents the company very well! The staff are always friendly and patient and polite. The place is much cleaner than some of the other ones iv been in and I regularly see people cleaning up and keeping it nice for the new customers Staff always working hard to get the customers orders right and keep them happy! Special thanks go out to manager Baksho who is great to deal with and always working hard to help the customers. I'm usually quick to point out faults but can't find any here. Thankyou and I will be back!

Picked the quiet time (7.30pm+) so food was fast and fresh.

Everytime I order from here they always forget an item staff need to check the bags properly

Updated review: Was 2 stars, dropping to 1 Ordered from the app, took about 1 hour and the two large fries were only half full. Tbh don't know if this was an Uber Eats problem it McD problem but ordered under the banner of McDs and have not had great experience from this branch so I would say it's a McD problem. Previous updated review: Was 3 stars, dropping to 2. Service for simple order (happy meal/fries/ice cream) was very slow. Bin full up and therefore rubbish spilling onto floor. Asked for ketchup, didn't get it. Prev review Jan 2018: Despite putting in the ordering screens, people still queue to order and because of that there is limited space. BBQ sauce pump dispenser was empty, had to have sachets but no biggy. It was Saturday afternoon; v busy so had to share a table upstairs. Bin full up. Food was of normal McD standards, so ok.

Had to clear and wipe down a table for our Granchildren. They loved it.

Thing is you know what ya getting with McDonald's. Quick, cheap, budget quality. And this didn't disappoint. Brilliantly average :)

It is a nice little store and not too crowded, and their self-order terminals work! So happy to give them 4 stars. BUT! What I don't appreciate, in general, is the fact that McDonalds seems to have removed BB dates from meat products... Never going to eat bacon and chicken wrap at them ever again as they were not fresh at all! Tasted like food that went bad 10 days ago - lol... And the bacon stunk when I heated my burger I took home. This is the third instance McDonalds sold bad meat to us this year so really seriously considering forgetting them for good... Also if they could remove those annoying not-related questions from their order-terminals. If I wanted to have a meal I would have added all of those items manually... Don't ask me to donate like 5 times during the order, that just puts me off for good. We do charity but we won't donate at McDonalds, not during order. Thanks...

It is amazing how bad this store is . Very unprofessional with dealing with customer complaints. No response at all. My recommendation stay away from this branch . Not worth the aggravation: Simple.

Totally unprofessional and absolutely not responsive at their silly mistakes. Please send the correct order not what comes easier . My kids are still awaiting for their order. Terrible customer experience 😪 It's kids that are annoyed; but this is maybe for a good reason . Much healthier KFC future takeaway option... 100%

Everytime I order large fries they are half emply when delivered

Looks like a Building Site since the erection of screens for the Deliveroo Riders to directly go to their own collection point. Has reduced ground floor seating by around 70% - So good luck getting your push chair upstairs to sit down. Ugly setup with a loss of ambiance. Looks like a Franchise owner has done his own thing.

Decent mcd's. Picking up in store is a pain with the delivery guys hanging around, but I know it is a hard problem to fix. Another issue is delivery, recently you have to pay extra to get food delivered directly instead of at the end of a list of drop offs, so it leaves the restaurant hot but is cold when it arrives. This is Uber Eat's fault. Also, how come you haven't been serving fillet of fish recently, all other mcd's have it :/

Tables were not cleaned. Definitely they need to get someone on floor to look after tables.

This McDonald's is slow in service, and more often than not the food is cold. Although they have sorted the problem with the delivery drivers, taking over the whole waiting area.
