The best place to relax, best food and the best service from Namreta. Great choice of food and everything was well cooked, fresh and delicious, When we are in town next time, my wife and I will come back, Namreta was wonderful! Thank you

This place is a beautiful place time here the staff are amazing and very soft spoken and polite especially the waiter called namrata she's respectful the food is amazingly mouth watering defo have to come back again 10/10 from me

I took my children for the first time and they were so amazed! So much selection and great, tasty food. We were served by Namrata and she was so friendly and helpful.

Came here for dinner with the family,we were really looking forward to having dinner here, we had a few issues unfortunately,the place was far to hot, asked for the air conditioning to move out on,had to ask a few times, then drinks were missing,but the young lady that served us was kind and gave plenty of info about the food areas. Very aware of price increase but the price was a bit high, even though it's all you can eat buffet, definitely couldn't eat alot because of the heat,of course the weather is not the fault of the staff but air conditioning was a must as this did impact our experience

Sorry but not impressed food availability poor and quality poor refill very slow I won't be visiting again or recommend to my friends there was four of us and none of us were impressed.

Good food, not very expensive, people there are friendly, especially Anna,she is a good girl, provide excellent service to me. Will come back again.

GRUBBY!! After looking at reviews and staying near York we decided to give it a try, our child was looking forward to the chocolate fountain, upon arrival we were shown our table, the kitchen is partly open, it looked unloved for a few years, the chinese section is OK at best, satay chicken was cold, no salt and pepper ribs, crispy duck just didn't taste right. The dishes are sat built into a worktop and towards the end the worktops are discoloured looking GRUBBY and sticky like it's not been cleaned properly for a while, whilst getting the crispy duck the main kitchen door was open and looked unloved and dirty with splashes up walls. There is a tepenyaki section and a grill but was only offered just meat by pointing to what I wanted, I thought tepenyaki was a chef cooking you a dish from different ingredients? Not here, I did lift a couple of India dishes to find just dry looking chicken (not tikka) within a sauce simply not appetising. The deserts were obviously the cheapest made to man! The ice cream was like those cheap cold mousse you used to buy years ago. No chocolate fountain. The drinks we eventually ordered came not really cold as we don't take ice, the large size is not a pint. The toilets are a disgrace, the sinks have orange crud all at the top and plug holes, the hand dryers have all dirty build up at the bottom, toilets stank of urine and most of the inside windows in the restaurant were dirty and shelves thick with dust! Owners if you read this review your place needs closing and a deep clean or replace the shabby stuff it's disgusting, clearly it's just about taking the money. I so wished we had just walked out and gone to the super clean, with smart looking staff round the corner at the Brazilian place. Panda mama clean your place up and have some pride in what you do!!

The food was ok, nothing new. I have been to better all you can eat restaurants, and it felt that this one is quite struggling to keep up, while other restaurants have more food varieties of food compared to this one.

Wowww, if there place that satisfies all your asian cravings from starters to desserts , with excellent experience of buffet and live kitchen especially, in customising my bbq with plenty of meat and vegetarian choices surprised me with economical prices. On top of the food, always service and hosting comes first, every staff member is lovely and warm welcomed over 100 people at one go they able to manage with food to be served hot. chefs are lovely, the good thing is even they will host the guests with very pleasant smile and tasty food. i would highly recommend this place for parties

Food was average but the staff told us that drinks were unlimited but it isn't.

Caught the chef picking his nose twice and touching bowls utensils and then wiping his nose with his hand absolutely vile

Made my breastfeeding wife feel so uncomfortable she fed the baby in the toilets, staff stood and watched her until she did this, food is over rated extremely low quality and selection. After all of that the staff added a tip/service fee without telling me only telling me after I paid and stating it was optional at that point. Honestly stay away and go to any other all you can eat place their all better than this dump.

Service - No complaints in this regard, everyone we interacted with was pleasant and they we're able to accommodate us being 15 minutes early for our reservation. Food & Drink - I had 2 cocktails which were lovely (Pow Pow Pandas I think) and quite alcoholic. Food was a bit like marmite, some of the dishes were the best I've had (sweet & sour chicken and spring rolls especially along with the pizzas which also looked very appetising) while some was not good (the noodles tasted more like overboiled spaghetti than noodles and the curries especially). The Indian and Thai selection was minimal and it felt like many dishes were missing despite being dinner which boasts an apparent "150 dishes". Atmosphere - The restaurant is wonderfully decorated, tables well spaced and lay out of the buffet area was good, though signs didn't necessarily reflect the food (spring rolls and prawn toast right next to chicken nuggets and chips?). Overall - A pleasant experience and cost effective, certainly one of the better buffets but not the best we've ever visited.

Delicious meat of all domestic species,...chicken, lamb, beef and from different places on the grill, they serve it to you until you say it's over...and you also have starters and you can eat everything without stopping except for the drink . And they don't have dessert

Kinda average experience. Wasn't expecting to be mine blown nor disappointed. The food was nice and warm but average service.

The place was filthy, filthy cutlery and plates. Food awful. Chicken had black bits in, the Chinese cold and greasy. Deserts dry. Even the glass of tap water stank. Only good thing was the polite staff. WASTE OF MONEY. AVOID!!!!!!

To be honest we went in at 8pm but Buffet stops getting stocked up at 9.30pm apparently. They charged my daughter an adult price even though she is only 10 yes she is tall but going to a buffet place the week before in Glasgow she got charged a child’s price. The food was hard and they never stocked it you they staff sat up the back eating at like 9pm when it doesn’t shut until 10pm. Wouldn’t go back ever neither would my parent or daughter so unhappy with the quality and quantity of food in the restaurant

Will not let you move tablets and bad food

Got there 1.30 pm 25/07/24 hardly no food to choose from and very little of what there was was so dried up. No fresh food at all. Very disappointing 😞 £14.99 and £3.50 for an orange and water. Service very poor. Would not go again 😐 sorry !

Good value for money and adequate choice of lunch dishes. Namrata provided a very friendly service and made me to feel welcomed. So good place for casual no frills dining.

Nice place. You eat as much as you want, no one rushes you. The price for the food is appropriate. Drinks are charged extra, but that's normal.

Biggest buffet I've ever been to. They had something for everyone. The food included Indian, Chinese, carvery, and Japanese. Also offered live cooking. Abi Anna was our waitress and very lovely.

It’s always so great to come and dine here. The food is amazing and we esp like the Chinese cuisine the best 😜 The staff are also very welcoming and very helpful and we had a encounter with one of the sweetest staff called Namrata, she was kind enough to show us different food services that we didn’t know about. Always lovely to come here !!

Delicious Food Friendly service Expecting a big Panda for my next visit

We really like coming down to panda mama York. The food is really good and the staff is amazing especially abi.

One of the worst restaurants I’ve ever visited. Left hungry because I struggled to find anything that looked like it was worth eating, not cold and not dried up. A lot of the dishes we had from the Chinese section were stone cold. This put me off eating much else as the standard of food made me doubt wether it was somewhere I could even get food poisoning from. Extremely over priced for the poor quality cold, tasteless and dry food. When asked how it was we let the staff member know a lot of it was dry and cold and they didn’t seem particularly bothered or concerned. Extremely bad will be warning people off eating here and biggest waste of money I’ve ever spent in a restaurant. Had to go elsewhere after because I left hungry!

im very disappointed its still 1pm nearly 2 they said close early because they don't have a customer then should give us some minutes to eat were not staying there for long we just want to eat website it said 3:00 close but still early 1pm nearly 2pm please fix the website

Went on Friday night can’t complain plenty of choice all tasted fresh. Very much enjoyed the fresh cooked steak and lamb skewers would go again

Absolutely worth the money , the restrooms are clean, the staff quickly clears the dishes and the place is hygienic

Usually use here when I’m working up here and usually no problems what do ever and always tip my server, although this week a lot of the food I had chosen was cold, an additional surcharge was added for my bill which didn’t get mentioned I used the bathroom and a member of staff had come out the cubicle when I was washing my hands he then went straight out of the bathroom without washing hands and started handling, I won’t be using here again when basic food hygiene by staff can’t be met

Staff were excellent - helpful and friendly, Food was top class and a lovely modern interior. Asian options from Indian and Thai curry’s, to Chinese, Teppanyaki to order, sushi, flame grilled meats cooked. Plus a full carvery, an a substantial desert buffet to meet all tastes including a sweetie table and chocolate fountain! Absolutely amazing value at £25 each on a Saturday evening, all you can eat.

I was here today for lunch at half 1. The food was either dry, awful or uncooked or even nothing even left. Chicken nuggets were that undercooked someone could have got salmonella. It was only an hour into lunch, considering this was our first time visiting york and panda mami we were extremely disappointed. It’s a good job i liked sweet and sour chicken otherwise i wouldn't have eaten!!! The chicken tikka looked like it was reheated from a few days ago and same for the korma all disgusting. Only ordered water and it took ages to come, wasn't even busy. I will never be coming here again. I couldn't even justify paying £30 for two of us as it wasn't worth it but i had to, what a waste of money not to mention it was for my boyfriends birthday too !!!! Cleanliness wasn’t good either

The food we ate was very nice but we arrived approx. 1 hour before they closed after lunch and there wasn't as much choice as I expected. The price was good and I would go again but at a different time.

the food gave me gastritis which has recently turned chronic from a H. pylori infection. children can be seen picking up the food with their bare hands and putting it back. Staff are rude and have poor english skills.

Went yesterday with my pals the service was absolutely horrible general discrimination as a set of lads in there early 20’s who have nothing to show but pure respect. I believe this may stem from my friends multicultural background and I am in utter disbelief and great distress due to the way in which I was treat will not be going back, if I wasn’t starving like a small Chinese boy I wouldnt have stayed
