Great local cash-only takeaway. Really quick, friendly service and good value. I'm coeliac and they're really knowledgeable on what I can and can't have and make gf options for me which is really reassuring. Can't fault it!

A really good find in an area with lots of tourist eats. Asian cuisine is chili hot so be careful what you tell your server what you can take. The food is top quality and each dish brings its own personality. It’s all about sharing so you get to balance the big flavors. The service is good, but you have to be assertive as they’ll leave you to it.

I'm a bit fussy so I only ever get beef chow mein, it tastes absolutely amazing, the beef is so tender and nicely proportioning of the ingredients. Friendly and quick service, can't knock it. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Quite possibly the best Chinese takeaway in the city. On the go since 1970, I have never had a bad meal from this takeaway. A true hidden gem, this takeaway does not deliver, and is located at the end of a side road that can be rather hard to navigate at times.

Absolutely brilliant Chinese. I’m a loyal customer to their sister Chinese in Osbaldwick and always heard how good this one is so I thought I’d pop in on my way home from work well glad I did will go here again for sure. I had beef with Mushroom, chips and a curry sauce. Was delicious especially the curry sauce not too spicy but I good taste. The beef was cooked perfect and tender. 5plus stars for this place one of the best!

Placed the order and had a small wait of maybe 5 minutes on arrival. They had measures in place to keep people apart or queueing outside, although I was the only customer whilst there so not sure how effective they are if busy The food was great. Portions were a good size and was hot and tasty.

I suggest you choose a staff who shows customer that she likes her work and what she’s doing. The previous management was very good on that and makes personal connection to customer especially the regulars. Food is still okay but wasn’t as good as before.

Tried Chop Suey House recently. Special fried rice and Singapore vermicelli, among other dishes, spot on! Nice friendly girl, long dark hair, very friendly and helpful. Good value meal and generous portions. We will continue to use.

Food is not bad, but it seems the sauce on every dish we've had is the same. Chicken satay sauce was lacking peanut and any chilli, making it not really satay sauce at all. Also veggie spring rolls had meat... It's not bad food, sauces are disappointing...

Best Chinese food ever all cooked how it should be, sweet and sour chicken with fried rice awesome. The staff have always been professional and extremely friendly would recommend anyone to go and taste what I would say is the orient.
