Pancs in City of London, Westminster

Stopped here as there were free tables to watch some performers. We asked for two glasses of wine. Sauvignon Blanc. When they came it was clear they weren’t SB but staff had all but disappeared so unable to question this. I was also asked to move my chair back which I had turned so I was side on rather than having my back to the performers. Chair with me in it was still in the same place, just turned the other way. I didn’t mind turning back, it was the way I was asked/ordered. Staff rude and unwelcoming. No wonder they had empty tables and everyone else was full.

Me and my girlfriend went to go here for lunch as we were a bit hungry and fancied some crepes/pancakes. It initially started off really well, we got offered seats and menus quickly. After we had ordered we were left waiting for about at full hour for our meals, which were not large by any means. The pancakes were sub par and and tasted like they’ve been left out for a while. In short I’m in no rush to come back, terrible service, and would rather eat a horseshit sandwich.

Hi came here today with my boyfriend it was very quiet and two other tables in the restaurant and when we had placed our order it was all going fine, 45 minutes of waiting for pancakes only one table which was a family of 4 which had come in after us had received their order. We had then asked how long it would be, the manager had apologised and said we would be given a discount of our bill, we had then received our food around an hour later and it felt as though the pancake had been out for a while. These portions are not the biggest in the world and would definitely not of taken an hour to make. Within this time the waiter had only gone to tables once to give them their menu and then take their orders and it was near to impossible to get their attention to get another drink to the point you have to physically go up to them. When we received our bill they gave us the wrong one bill they did change it however, but the discount knocked about £1 off our bill wow it was very generous I thought. Just would not recommend overall poor service poor experience.

Way too long of a wait for some bottled “cold pressed” juice, AND we got a 15% service charge for it. Would not come back. Pancakes looked good but we didn’t have a chance to order since the wait was too long.

Had started a new job opposite on the strand here and then lockdown happened. I enjoyed my pancake that I had for lunch on pancake day. I had the Oreo one, and it was very filling. It was a little too much on the sweet side for my personal taste. It was presented well and it’s enjoyable sitting in the courtyard here and listening to the music while eating pancakes here.

I got the salmon savoury crepe and it was delicious, great customer service would definitely recommend.

Old fashion shop in Covent Garden market where you can have delicious crepes and pancakes while you enjoy live music for the whole day. Good quality of food, fresh, big portion and beautiful presentation. Excellent service by the stuff, very friendly and kind. It’s always a pleasure come here! I recommend going!!

Came across this place by chance when looking for somewhere to rest our feet! Great service and delicious pancakes. We had 1 each and both were amazing. Also a Nutella hot chocolate and a flat white. Very very nice coffee. Will be back!

Came here with my husband today - he’s a pancake fan, I’m less bothered, but we were hungry and this place looked pretty quiet and in a nice location. Despite it being pretty quiet, the service was so slow - they were obviously short staffed, but really, it’s pancakes, what’s taking so long?! I had a mushroom crepe, which was ok, but nothing to write home about, husband had an apple cinnamon which he enjoyed and that’s the main thing, but all components were clearly shop bought and it was not a pretty thing - bit of a shame when something fresh and delicious could easily be made. Ok all in all, but we were frustrated with the service and think the price was a little high for mediocre food.

I was there with two friends. I took a gluten free salmon, i was super happy they did gluten free crepe. And my both friends took a crepe with beef inside. Everythinhg was jus excellent. The waitress was nice and professional to. I can only recommande this place. I will come back!! Thanks :)

If only I could give Panc 0 stars. Most inedible meal I've ever had. Went for brunch with a group of 5 other females. The service was slow and inattentive from the beginning. We knew from the moment we walked in, we were not welcome. After being told there was a 20 minute wait for a table in an empty restaurant, we started outside, then after no one came to move us in 20 minutes later, we decided to move in ourselves. The food came first, then the drinks 10 minutes after... After looking through Pancs Instagram my friends and I were excited for our meal, as soon as it was put on our table we didn't know whether to laugh or cry. Horrified that the company take pride in "Deliciously handcrafted pancakes" and we were given, two tiny pancakes which were rock solid and stone cold. The whole meal was inedible, and made us all feel sick. After speaking to the manager about this, he stated "Girls, this was partly your fault because when you ordered you should have stated you wanted a fresh batch of pancakes." False advertisement I think! After still making us pay 80% of this meal, we all left feeling disgusted and disappointed. The male manager was un-helpful and tried to blame us. Whatever you do, do NOT eat here. London has so many amazing places to offer, and Pancs could not be further from ANY of them. Disgusting

The restaurant was cozy and overall a good experience (the service was great)! Really enjoyed the "Glorious Mushroom Pancs", and the hot tea was exactly what we needed during a cold day.

The most basic food I've tried since the days of stale cheese rolls in the pub, 30 years ago. Staff were clueless and repeatedly got orders wrong. It was embarrassing and I certainly would not recommend.
