AMT Coffee in City of London, Westminster

Just got a take away tea. Small cup which is fine, but half the cup filled. At £3.10 a tea and such a small cup, please at least fill the cup to 2/3rd.

Please update your price tags…bought a bottle of coke label said £2.79 but when the amount entered on card machine said £2.89 I said you’re charging be wrong they said that is the price…you shouldn’t do that to customers if the price tag says otherwise

Really friendly guy called Tariq made me a lovely coffee. Probably the most cheerful and super swift barista in Liverpool Street station!

The person working there couldn't be bothered to get me almond milk when asked. She said there wasn't any, and I pointed the fridge with the milk and she said she was too busy to get the milk and got me a random coffee (asked for flat white) with regular milk. Coffee was terrible too. Never had a barista tell me they were too busy to get me the requested milk.

“I don’t have time to give you almond milk” is a strange approach to customer service, especially when it was sat in the fridge 1m away.

Just bought half cup of the foam for £3.80! This is a joke! Also coffee taste is disgusting! It used to be such a nice coffee years ago, now its getting worse and worse every year!

Today evening I bought one cappuccino from Amt coffee Liverpool Street it was the best cappuccino I have had the gentleman who made this was TAREQ he was so nice every time I go there he is always smiling and attending customers.

Truly awful cappuccino. I paid extra for oat milk and I am 100% certain it is in fact cows milk that I received. It's easy to tell because I was basically served a latte with far too much milk, lukewarm with no froth, so the cows milk flavour was obvious. Had to throw it away as I'm lactose intolerant, complete waste of money.

The cappuccino was barely more than half full. The large now comes in a regular sized cup. Waste of money.

Great coffee usually. Today tasted extremely burnt and almost like sewage water. Staff there were extremely rude and had no manners.

The two ladies on 17.10 need training on how to speak to customers. They attempt to talk over you and don’t allow extra shots in coffee like they advertise. Coffee places usually go for friendly and charismatic staff..

If I could do none or a minus I would 9 pounds for a coffee pastry and water. Coffee was undrinkable milk burnt and it was bitter and unpleasant to taste. Woman behind the til was rude and an awful start to a work day. Train your staff in the name of your shop

I like this coffee chain and come here quite often. The milkshakes are really good and so is the coffee. The pastries are nice.

Went here last night on my way home ( after 1 to many shots) and was served by a gentleman who was so kind and patient whilst I was deciding what to eat ! I think his name was Tyrese he was working on the 13/09/23 around 11pm last night. Absolute asset to this company and overall an amazing staff member!

I paid £3.70 for a small cappuccino in a large cup . Basically just calf full cup of cold weak and flat as a pancake coffee

Paid for 2 capaccinos, they forgot mine. Eventually got mine but it was full of sweetener, now have the horrible taste of sweetener in my mouth. Avoid this place. Could've made better coffee at home.

I bought a Coffe Late.The coffee was great. Fantastic customer service as well. I was asked whether I wanted a small or large one.

My card didn't work because my credit card and debit card weren't accepted. The lady at amt coffee (at jan 25th 11:51am) paid for me! The sweetest thing I've seen in ages!

We asked for a tea & a small mocha, but got charged for a large mocha. When I asked why they charged us for a large mocha but gave us a small one, they tried to play innocent & said it was a mistake. It was so obvious they were lying. I bet they do this all the time 😡

Great place to have your coffee

Stopped for an oat mocha, received a cow-milk drink instead. Checked twice with the barista to confirm it was oat milk and he lied saying that it was oat. Definitely NOT recommended.

Been here multiple times over the past few weeks, had no ice any of the times but displays many posters of iced drinks. Very disappointing

Coffee should never taste of marzipan. It’s also supposed to be warm. And if you are scraping the milk cheese off the steamer with a knife in front of customers, perhaps give it a wipe afterwards. Change please? How about changing this for a drinkable flat white?

Got off the train Saturday evening about 8pm, the young man who served me was friendly and efficient. And served up a great espresso or 4 😉

Coffee is good and the serving staff are lovely. I am appalled however by the fact that staff are frightened of being sacked if they accept tips. Today the lady at the kiosk told me with a nervous smile that she would lose her job if she leaves the tip cup (that I put there for her) on the counter. Come on AMT coffee - In what century do you live?

I asked for a flat white, they gave me a mini americano. The service has gone down.

American coffe, no sugar. I ask many time. The answer? Ask to the near shop. Really? if I ask a hairdresser for sugar, he probably doesn't have it. but a coffee shop is inadmissible. the girl's response was also angry, rude and also seemed offended. there are no zero stars otherwise I would have put zero.

ATM coffee Liverpool Street London was a lovely experience!! Kevin was a lovely employee and we will definitely be going back when getting food on the go!!

The quality of drinks in AMT Coffee used to be superb. The service - exceptional. What happened? I decided to try new Frappucino drinks they had on display picture and got this...are you joking? Tasteless cold milk supposed to be Salted caramel latte and Strawberry and cream frappucinos. No cream, no flavour. I would be embarrassed to serve this to the customer. Not to mention long waiting time to even get attention, big queue behind and barista who looks like he wants to be anywhere but there. Drinks to the bin and not coming back here ever again.

There was a queue here for coffee that was absent at the other outlets. A good sign and the coffee lived up to expectations. I shall come again.

First time i tried coffee at AMT, at liverpool st stration, omg it was amazing,and the quality taste of the bean really came through in the coffee. I would definately have coffee here again as i dont know where else AMT is available.

Lovely Coffee and compostable / biodegradable cups!

No point them being there as there never open - crap coffee, nice staff, staff say the Asian area manager is appalling, treats his staff like crap, such a rude and nasty man, no wonder they have no staff and manager in there.

I used to have coffee & pastries from this coffee shop, they have the best almond croissant. However, the staff is rude and I must mention the asian lady (mid age) working there. Today I am a customer less (not that they care) just because of the bad service.

I visited Newcastle rail shop on the platform, Absolute waist of money, rubbish coffee just like coloured water, I'll never use them again.

This used to be a superb coffee stall. Haven’t been at Liverpool Street station for a while. I ordered s coffee with an extra shot. Went to drink it on train and it was like milky dishwater. Absolutely undrinjable unless you like warm milk with no coffee taste. Had to be thrown away.

Had a very nice chocolate milkshake treat at lunch time. Not a bad price compared to coffee or frap at other larger chains.

Of all flat white coffee I have tried. I like AMT the most.

I was running for a train but really wanted a coffee and some breakfast food. Having seen the queue in Starbucks I opted for AMT coffee. Right next to my platform it seemed perfect. Unfortunately my croissant was chewy, indicating it wasn't fresh. I do understand it's a little coffee stand, but could they not have a better way of storing food? It's got me wondering how long it was sat there for. My skinny latte is fine, but far far too hot. Water should be used at a specific temperature so not to burn the coffee! Overall, not impressed but it's better than no breakfast at all. I'd recommend going elsewhere in the station (lots of choice), if you have time.

I needed to be in London with the grandchildren on a very hot day. On the way home we found tasty relief with a smile and City of London prices on the concourse of Liverpool St. Station. I will be happy to come here again, budget permitting.

This is a good place to call and get a coffee if you are catching a train from Liverpool St Station. There is also a small seating area

The staff is so rude with the customers

I can't understand the other reviews. The coffee is average, in fact worse than Costa or Starbucks. The only advantage is that it is in the station. Also at the moment they have a sale on so you can get a drink and a snack for half price.

Their coffee is very very good. Especially their “cafe maya” - the iced one is just unbeatable!! Not the cheapest, but not unreasonable either. Well worth it as a treat every now and then.

Have been to this AMT Coffee, at London Liverpool Street Station, for a few visits. Today we visited at 3:30pm. We were served by Mihai. He made a really lovely Latte. Personally, I think that the coffees made at this AMT are better than the leading coffee houses. The coffee stayed hot for our whole journey home, and it was full of flavour. They sell pastries too, but we have not had any of those yet. I totally recommend this AMT. We will be visiting again.

Staff pushed to the limit and a bit brusque. Drinks very well prepared but the pastry exceedingly poor quality. Useful place and cheaper than other coffee shops

Terrible service! Such a rude staff! Get the muffins prices visible, I mentioned once and the next day was the same. The clip is right on the price. Please train the staff on some standards and manners.

Just ask for a coffee and the lady who was serving looked stressed (only one costumer) and rude. Asked for the reciept and she said 'you can take'. What??? Never ever. Don't recomend.

I bought a banana there and ended up with one with a red fungus which apparently means that the banana is infected somehow. At least I learned something today as I never know this was a thing ...

Worst coffee in London. It tasted like burned coffee with water. The latte was the same as a flat white- they also don't know about milk frothing, it was just hot horrible milk.

Fui a la AMT a tener un pequeño desayuno para empezar el día, mi hotel estaba a 10 minutos a pie de la estación de Liverpool Street, pero el personal no estaba de humor, fueron muy groseros. Me dieron un pastel de chocolate y era...

Mi esposa y yo visitamos este lugar el domingo antes de salir en un tren. El café y croissant almont era bastante bueno, pero el personal de aquí no era muy amable - quizás era demasiado temprano en la mañana!

Not always easy to find but for me who likes strong coffee this is the best in London. Go there all the times i can.

I know that every station in the UK seems to have an AMT Coffee stall, but the one in Liverpool Street Station will always be special for me because all the ladies behind the counter seem to know instinctively that I need chocolate sprinkled on my drink, no matter what I order. It is always nice to see a smiling face and pick up a nice cuppa the first thing in the morning when you are leaving the beloved Big Smoke to visit depressing locations along the East Coast. The staff seem to know this and are always obliging with a nice smile and a quick chinwag about the weather and the likelihood that I might not be able to make it to the 8AM meeting in Norwich.

Excellent tea and coffee stop at the station, I am glad we chose this over the other chain options. Did not try the baked goods, but if the quality of coffee is anything to go by then the snacks are likely to be worth it. The prices are comparable to any chain.

Drop by here every morning. The coffee is good and also Fairtrade. The staff are quick and friendly, and the prices are much better than Starbucks, Costa etc. Hence I keep going back each day. Try it out!

Better than all the other coffee chains. Even sometimes steals me away from the independent shops around Shoreditch. I was dismayed to see it close, but it's back and still great.

Ahhh, if you haven't tried a yogushake from an AMT coffee outlet you are missing out on life. They're just like milkshakes, but made with yoghurt. You can get lots of flavours, from vanilla, to coconut, to mango etc. They're all great! The coffee is nice and not too expensive. I really like AMT coffee a lot better than some of the other coffee shops I've been to.
