Pancho's of Freshfield in Sefton

Went tonight for first time as not much choice of pizza places in the area all I can say is do NOT get a “Chicken kebab” had a bite and tasted nothing like chicken tasted what I could imagine actual poo to taste like...I feel sick to my stomach I don’t know what the hell it was my partner had Donna kebab which came with a burnt make yourself pitta what a waste of good money never felt so sick in my life

I never ever write a bad review, we have been going to George's PLAICE since it opened and have never had bad food, in fact it was so good we told all our friends and family about it. Suddenly it had gone, been taken over by Panchos, okay gave them our business and, never again. Rang and ordered, told 20 mins, picked up bang on time. Got home, fish missing, rang and told sorry, did we want it dropping off, no it would be too long a wait. Opened all the food and it was stone cold, and I mean really cold. Had to warm everything up in the microwave. I rang and told them as they say they want feedback and they just said thanks for letting us know!!! With all the competition in Formby they really need to up their game. We certainly won't be going back

I must have tried most things at from this happy place over the years and never been let down. It’s right by the railway station and short term parking. If your in the area give it a go

Ordered food pretty late at night but service was still great and quick, food was all piping hot when it arrived, freshly cooked. Chicken burger was delicious with generous amounts of salad and mayo.

Ordered from here been good in previous visits but burnt offerings this time so won't bother again would have rang to complain but my daughter was so hungry and we were going away didn't have time to go elsewhere the pizza tasted like the cardboard box it came in

Ordered for collection, the gentleman on the phone was really pleasant and helpful. The food was quick to be made and was piping hot. The chips were a little bit oily and the free garlic bread a bit dry but the rest was really nice.

Fast efficient with great pizzas. Not bad fron me as I don’t particularly like pizzas. Home delivery excellent. Food arrives hot and tasty

Ordered take away tonight what a bloody disgrace two dinner kebab wraps put them on a plate the plate filled with the amount of fat not cooked properly called delivered one driver not interested called the shop guy in the phone couldn’t give a shxt so going back tomorrow to give them the fat back and ask for money back

I collected a takeaway from Panchos this evening and when I opened the box at home for the garlic bread I was presented with what could best be described as a wooden Frisbee! It was so bad that was actually funny. I don't expect gourmet cuisine from a takeaway but this took the (wooden) biscuit. I phoned to ask if anybody had lost a Frisbee and they sent their delivery guy round who tapped it a few times, agreed it was wooden and took it cheerily away with a promise to return with a fresh one. Haven't seen him since....probably having too much fun with his new toy.

Called in with a friend for a pizza. Behind the counter 4 staff dressed in outdoor clothes, totally grubby appearance throughout.

Just had what I can only describe as left overs delivered by pancho's waited nearly 40 mins and food was terrible Donna meat was not cooked. Margarita pizza was simply over cooked and tasteless. After tasting each item we asked them to collect food as it was truly that bad. Due to the attitude of the staff I intend to take this food to the appropriate body as a complaint. I would rather go hungry than give my money to this company. I have only rated this one as I could not submit form without rating the business

Best chicken kebabs and pizza in the area. Reasonably priced with a great delivery service. Staff are always pleasant.

Arrived at location late on Sunday evening, local pubs had stop serving food so we used Pancho's. Good take away with well cooked food.

Now, for you guys and girls who know me, I'm not the type of guy to get food from takeaways but commenting on the food I have purchased from there in the past I haven't had a bad experience as takeaways go! I will break this review up and list my personal favourites. Staff - as friendly as takeaway shops go, they take your order and simply get on with it, it has been run by the same group of men from as far back as I can remember. Food - My dad would always order us in a chicken and lamb kofta kebab, the kebab came with mixed salad, garlic mayonnaise sauce and pita bread, they would also throw in a free garlic bread which was nice! I have also purchased pizzas too and they were very good, nice and balanced filling to dough ratio but not too much grease. The food does taste fresh but be warned the morning after you will be garlic breath.com! Overall thoughts - if you're looking for something quick to eat and want a good quality meal, I would recommend trying Panchos as I have enjoyed the food myself in the past! Happy dining

Won't order from them again,ordered 2 pizzas,chips and drinks,when it came there was one pizza,half a portion of cold fries and one drink. It's not the first time it's happened so we definitely will not use them again.

5 of us ordered take out Pizza for a family meal and all were great. Plenty of toppings and nicely cooked, defo recommend.
