A finger licking experience! Food is absolutely delicious and you can tell it’s made from fresh. Service is fantastic. Will definitely go back and would recommend it if you’re in the area. You might want to book first… 😉

I've eaten there often, ,for breakfast and brunch. The food is always quality, the service friendly and quick. A family business, they treat you like one of the extended clan. Always a joy.

It’s a bare bones caff. Breakfast is expensive and not very good. Don’t know what all the 5 star stuff is all about. Seems a lot of ppl lack their critical faculties

The food last night was brilliant. It was my first evening visit. The menu was very different to the day menu. I had the veal escallops with mushrooms and marsala sauce which tasted as good as it sounds. A friend, who is a chef, had Penne with aubergines and immediately started to rave about the quality and taste.

Lovely on every front. Not fussing or flash, just very tasty food in a simple cafe setting, served by genuinely nice people excellent value.

Only doing take-away at present but you can sit outside. Still great coffee and excellent food, both English and Italian. Great service, great prices and really friendly staff. Can't wait to get back to normal.

Finally returned to the wonderful Italian Palmieri’s in Furze Platt. Great authentic coffee and a truly delicious breakfast and brunch menu. Quite a few tables outside, but very limited indoors. Also now selling some great Italian meals for one to take away (Lasagne, Ragu etc). Very tasty home cooked for £5

Would thoroughly recommend this lovely Italian restaurant.I was fortunate to learn lots about great Italian cookery from my time working in an Italian cookery school.You will be so happy you visited and ate here. The food is excellent and great value for money and is the best and most authentic Italian food for miles around.Takeaways are excellent too and they recently catered for a funeral wake for me and everyone that attended thought the food and desserts were delicious.Roberto and his lovely team are so friendly and welcoming and this is a great local business that I urge you to support as they are a huge asset to our community.Thank you guys for doing a great job xx

My family decided to order the lamb ragu lasagna and the salmon penne last Friday evening, give us a night off from cooking and it was gorgeous. It was all so tasty, the pasta was so light where you can tell its homemade. We would definitely recommend and re order when them again! Thank you too the Palmeri family!

Very traditional Italian cafe with delicious hearty food and takes you back to Italy roots. I can get enough of their food an very often have lunch and get my dinner from them. Lovely staff that are always helping accommodating me and my baby.

Following the amazing reviews on TA and beyond my wife and I decided to pay a visit to this café (I don’t usually eat at “Italian” as most of the time I find them quite disappointing!). Anyway, the place was quite cosy and considering that was 12 there was barely any food on display in the cabinets. We sat down and my wife ordered a Full English Breakfast while I had a toasted ciabatta with Provola Affumicata, Italian Bacon and Saute Mushrooms. The breakfast wasn’t bad although the Cumberland sausage tasted like the old fashion kind and so did the beans, very likely not...Heinz!!!!, My ciabatta had a sweet taste possibly due to some kind of cream/bechamel rather than butter. The Provola and the Bacon weren’t bad while the Mushrooms tasted more like they were boiled not sauted. We ordered a 750 ml San Pellegrino Water as stated on the menu but we received a 500 ml and only later on we realised that we were charged for a 750 ml. What can I say the place was quite packed. I saw some pasta dishes passing by, drenched with white or red sauce and just by the look of it the cooking time seemed to have exceeded the minutes required! (Some people might like it that way) I I think that amongst other things it lacked the “Passion”, although a cliché, I thing is paramount when you prepare any dish let alone ….Italian cooking!

It is a rather rustic cafe/diner, but who cares when the dishes are sooo delicious! Probably the best lasagna this side of Rome.

This is a great family restaurant and cafe. The pasta, sandwiches and breakfast are equally excellent. The staff are friendly and helpful. Our particular favourite is the takeaway veggie lasagne which we often order when friends are visiting, and it always goes down very well.

We really enjoyed our stop for coffe e at Palmieri's. The barista made a stellar cappuccino. The freshly baked cakes are delicioso.

Palmieri's manages to maintain its extremely high standard month after month. The food both British and and English is superb and they don't stint on the amount. I ordered one of their pasta bakes for a family events and we all agreed that it was superb. The staff are always friendly and efficient. Yes it is small, but that jsut adds to the Italian feel. For years now, this has been a little treasure of a place, whether popping in for take-away coffees and an Italian cake, sitting down for a nice breakfast or popping in for tea and a read of the papers (I pop over the road to Tesco Express), I always enjoy my time here.

Visited one lunchtime just before Christmas. Was served straight away and the coffee and food came quite quickly and was of good quality. However the tables were rather cramped together and we had trouble getting round them to exit the building.

It does what it says on the tin. Straightforward, good cafe food and service. Can't fault it. Will be back.

A small but quite quaint place with plenty choice of lovely food. You can sit inside and outside when weather is sunny. Service is always friendly and the ambience is pleasant as well.

This a cute little cafe that we found whilst craving a full english when we were too lazy to cook it ourselves. There's a decent number of places nearer to us that do breakfast but was convinced by the solid reviews here on TA.

I frequently visit this fantastic establishment at lunchtimes for there excellent Italian cuisine my particular favorite being their specials including beautiful gnocchi and gorgeous pea soup. I have got to know all the members of this family run business over the last 10 years. It is definitely worth a visit if in need of a wake me up coffee/ breakfast early morning (as i do most days). Roberto and the rest of the team are incredibly warm, friendly, attentive and welcoming.

What a fantastic local restaurant serving outstanding food , pasta dishes to eat in or take away are best I’ve had outside of Italy. Friendly staff and whist its a small establishment every effort will be made to seat you , your patience will be rewarded with outstanding food . A must visit

Friendly Italian family run business. We’ve had breakfast here a few times and every one has been fabulous. You can also order homemade lasagne and other dishes if you phone on the morning of the day you require it (or earlier). Scrummy 👍🏼

I have been coming to Palmieri's for 24 years and it will always have a place in my heart. Fantastic food, atmosphere and attentiveness. ALL staff are welcoming and always have time for a chat (even when they are up to their eyes with things to do!). Would highly recommend and would never be disappointed!

We are local and stop here regularly. This place sells some damn good coffee and their breakfast platters aren't bad either. Then when you go, you get to take away a delicious pasta dish to reheat for lunch, freshly made to a proper Italian recipe.

Often we can go on a little too much about the amazing restaurants we have been to, their ambiance, eccentric menu, etc. We do this forgetting to take into account what we enjoy the most - the simple pleasures in life.

Always busy but you can see why - lovely and friendly staff with delicious food! Been here at least a dozen times and haven't had a single bad experience yet... We'll be back soon!

Best Italian food going by a country mile. Family owned and run I believe and it reflects in the whole experience. Independent ventures like these should be treasured and used - forget Jamie's Italian and the rest, come here for excellent food, friendly service and something different.....ALL the pasta dishes are highly recommended

What a lovely friendly clean place to visit. We had a lovely brunch. Husband had full English....didn't want the tomato but was immediately offered another item instead. I had the frittata...absolutely lovely..so filling. Such good value for money. Will be back.

Two weeks ago I asked Roberto to cater for my sons communion. I am still getting calls to say how good the food was and in particular how the lasagna was the best....coming from Italian and ex restaurant owners this was a massive compliment to Roberto, Claudio, Giuseppe and all the others behind the scenes. Came here for a leisurely breakfast just before the place filled up with eager locals and people in the know! Service was lovely- prompt, personal and friendly and these guys are clearly passionate and authentic which seems to bring people in droves. The food was gorgeous- I only had room for an egg frittata with mushrooms but it was divine, fresh and stayed hot for ages. My latte was delicious too. I will be back as soon as I can!

Spotted by accident en route Maidenhead - stopped for breakfast . Good decision. Excellent coffee and bacon sandwiches, good brown bread, generous portion with no fat. Friendly service and reasonable price. Recommended - we’ll be back.

I work just around the corner and you'll find me here a few times a week either having breakfast or lunch with colleagues. The lasagne and garlic bread are the best I've ever had and there's the added bonus of taking a tray bake home of you don't want to cook. The staff are always friendly and I never fail to recommend it if clients are looking for a bite to eat when nearby.

Bravo Roberto and Signora, a simple cafe with no pretensions, low prices, great atmosphere just outside Maidenhead. No bookings, very small selection of house wines and pastas but just great fun.

Good choice of Italian cuisine in this bustling small cafe. We enjoyed our lunch there. It has a small car park, but this was full, however there is parking in the neighbouring streets, making for easy access.

Visited Palmieri’s for lunch on the strength of the trip advisor rating. I can only say that the rating is deserved. Really deserves a 6. Had the meatballs with a salad. It was absolutely delicious and fantastic value for money. Your mother could not make better food than this. Parking is a bit limited, but I parked in a nearby side road without any problem. It was only a 1 minute walk to the cafe. It could also make a convenient stop off point on the way to Heathrow I would have thought. I would thoroughly recommend a visit.

After a desperate plea of finding somewhere to eat we stumbled across this little gem. A bustling atmosphere and nice setup. They offered some good brunchy options for any food lover (aka me). 10/10 would visit again. I would definitely recommend the meatball panini (cost around £5) or an english breakfast. Loved it

I have been here so many times and it is always brilliant! The food is great, whether you buy Italian or English. The atmosphere is so friendly and the staff are just so friendly. I am not surprised that it is always busy. Excellent, excellent, excellent!!

WE arrived just after closing time and we asked on the of chance if we could have some tea and something to drink. The owners could not have been more helpful and gave us some takeaway tea and some delicious italian pastries and said that we could sit at the tables outside for as long as we needed to . They could have so easily turned us away but nothing was too much trouble

Firstly, great service very positive staff. Quick to attend us and food came even quicker. Delicious sandwiches (we got a baguette and a ciabatta) that were well made and filling. Would recommend for a two person breakfast or lunch!

We love Palmieri's for breakfast. Delicious food, welcoming staff and lovely atmosphere. We've been going at least once a month for over a year now and the excellent standard remains the same each time.

Meals are served quickly and the taste is fresh and delightful. Always order olives and bread to snack on which tantalise the tastebuds in preparation for the plentiful main pastas - love this place - only trouble is that they need to be bigger as so many people visit here to eat - wonderful cozy cafe where if I were local, I would visit as often as I could.

My partner had lunch here whilst waiting for his bike to be serviced across the road, and came back singing their praises. Clean, friendly, comfortable and lovely food. Definitely going again

Palmieri’s is one of my favourite places to go for breakfast in Maidenhead. The food is great and so is the service. All the staff are so kind and friendly. Lovely little cafe, especially in the summer.

I am a regular customer at this haven for foodies. The coffee is amazing and always as requested, my tipple being cappuccino, can't be beaten anywhere for miles. The customer service is and always has been fantastic, as one would expect from a family business. The food, and I've worked my way through pretty much the whole menu, is sublime. Please try their house speciality pasta dishes which can't be beaten. The salads, gems like the bean and anchovy, or pancetta/egg/garlic, or the antipasti, all amazing. If it's breakfast you're after, the qualify of the bacon and sausages is amazing, and the eggs are always done as asked for. Palmieri's represents such great value for money with amazing food and drinks, (I travel from Langley, Wycombe, or Slough to go here), and I can't recommend it highly enough.

Always a good buzz in this small authentic Italian cafe. Lovely fresh pasta dishes and all day breakfast. Greeted with a friendly smile on every visit . It’s a regular coffee stop after a long walk.

I ordered a coffee this morning as a Friday treat to myself to find that my coffee was half full, we are normally regulars at the store but unfortunately they seem to be slacking with their customer service skills and the quantity.

The food and service are great, it's a genuine Italian cafe that charges reasonable prices and delivers meals that are tasty and enjoyable. The cafe is moderate in size, but the kitchen behind it sizeable, so service is timely and the quality is good. If ever I want Italian food, this is my go to place. bellissimo grazie.

Palmieris has that real buzz that Italians seem to specialise in. This is our goto venue for regular takeaway coffee, the occasional breakfast, informal workspace, meeting up with friends, etc., etc., etc.

I've drunk a LOT of coffee in my time, but my morning coffee in Palmieri's this morning was one of the best. Slightly nutty taste, beautifully brewed. The tiramisu was also just perfect- none of the sloppy mess you so often get elsewhere.

Arranged to meet a group of friends here with our babies and I was so impressed with the warm welcome we received, despite us causing a bit of chaos was prams and car seats. The staff could not have been more helpful in providing us with a suitable table and looking after us. I will definitely be coming back here with my husband to sample the delicious looking pasta dishes I could see on other tables!

Fairly regular at this superb Italian cafe / restaurant. The food is excellent whether you are eating Italian or English. What really makes it is the warm welcome that all customers receive. The staff are so friendly and attentive. Nice to visit soemwhere that isn't part of a chain . Highly recommended.
