OK where do I start.went into the Falmouth one last week and noticed an atmosphere, new staff in there and every single one is rude, I think it's the manager short girl dark hair looks like she's been sucking lemons 🍋 very rude , took my order no please thankyou very hard to make conversation, so went there today( we work local and use this place alot especially in the summer) well again rude staff same girl in there again very difficult to make conversation etc . We will be eating and drinking else where in future

We come here regularly usually for a late breakfast . Great service, great food, lovely atmosphere. This week we tried the tapas. Absolutely delicious. We will be back!

This lounge is one place where everything works and blends beautifully. Smooth playlist for good vibes, breakfast to dinner, happy hour, workspace, romantic and a chilled place to hang out with friends. Beautiful decor, delicious food, good drinks, fine coffee and efficient service from the bar or your seat with the QR code. Staff are wonderful, hard working and friendly... What more could you want, outside... That too😉

We came twice over the weekend as we were visiting my sister. Accidentally took part in the quiz on Friday, Jorge (I apologise wholeheartedly if this is spelt wrong) was an absolute gem. We absolutely loved him, (we won). We decided to come back Saturday night as the food was delicious and catered for my very picky 7 year old. Drinks were fantastic too. Great cocktail offer too. Thanks guys.

Lovely vegan breakfasts and a lovely building. Just took a while for the food to come out.

We came here from a recommendation. There was four of us for a girls night out. We couldn’t fault any of the food. We ordered tapas,pasta,burgers, desserts and cocktails. Everything was delicious. We all work in a restaurant. And this food hit the spot. Thank you. We will be back.

I generally like this place and the staff always seem to be efficient and friendly. However,we did not enjoy our Brunch as it was incredibly noisy and we could not wait to escape. Also our food was disappointing. My partner said his eggs benedict was cold. My burger was very mediocre, though certainly cheaper than a lot of places, and the chips were not hot enough. Hopefully this was just a bad day and not a general downward turn

Dropped by for a mix of tapas dishes & drinks. Really nice decor inside with options to sit down or upstairs. Friendly warm welcome with usual menu option for the Lounge chain. Food came quickly & the 3 tapas dishes shared was enough for us. Nice place to drop by

Went on a Tuesday and had 3 tapas dishes and a glass of House wine for just over £13. All dishes were served hot, full of flavour and filling. Great value and really lovely venue. Dog friendly too, so highly recommend if you have a pooche in tow!!

We eat here regularly as a family when we visit Falmouth but not enough to be known by staff. This year, I rang to book a table for remembrance day and was told that they did not normally book tables at the weekend, but due to this particular calender date, the member of staff (Claire?) would discuss with her manager who was not working that evening. Claire called me back several hours later to inform me that she had tracked down the off duty manager, and the reservation had kindly been approved. On the day, my dad was awarded the Freedom of Falmouth for his services to the town. The manager (Keira?) had researched this award and made a huge fuss of my dad. She personally bought him chocolates and flowers. She was so kind! The food was great, the service excellent and the community connection outstanding. A huge thank you to the whole team. 🙏 🫶

It I'd like all the other lounges in the chain

This restaurant is really cozy. I enjoyed the meal. The interior decor is grand. It is definitely worth visiting to have a meal if you are in this end of Cornwall. Still impressed on my second visit to this place. The service is also fast.

So I think firstly that this lounge is very good, and the staff are usually friendly and helpful. On this occasion it just didn't really go as expected. I ordered a lounge breakfast, my wife some lounge eggs. The lounge eggs turned up within maybe 10 mins, and apparently were very good. Coffees ordered also turned up fairly quickly. My lounge breakfast was however nowhere to be seen. I gave it another 20 mins and still nothing so I decided to head to the bar to ask about my meal. The lady behind the bar who's name escapes me was very nice, but told me that there was a half hour wait on food. This was slightly confusing given the fact one of the meals we ordered had already turned up and been consumed. Anyway, I did not really want to eat by myself so decided to get my money back and this was simple enough. The lady then offered some complimentary coffees for the inconvenience, which were accepted. I refuse to bad mouth this establishment as it is a very nice eatery with some good quality food/drink and a nice atmosphere. Just a shame that the food order was a bit of a hash. Conveniently located and a good selection of beers too.

Not good service. Got served knives and forks in 10 minutes, and drinks after 15 minutes, server rude when questioned. Food arrived without anyone asking if we needed condiments or checking throughout, awful service. Next step up from Wetherspoon

‘Student vibe’ but great for a family meal as very welcoming. Dog friendly, great online food and drink ordering system and really friendly and efficient staff. Good selection of food choices and quality was great. Overall, really good and highly recommended.

Great place to dine in the heart of Falmouth town. Service was excellent and friendly. The ambience was very nice. They also have dining on the first floor with live music. Toilets are on the first floor as well and clean. Parking is available on payment in the vicinity.

Lovely place, whilst we waited for our food there was plenty around us to appreciate with pictures lining the walls! The all day breakfast was great, nice and hot and reasonably priced as is everything on the menu. Staff were very friendly, despite the online ordering and self-seating not requiring much interaction. Will definitely come back :)

First time trying a lounge, thought would try there for food as was my birthday. Ordered steak although was over priced for a 8oz with small bowl of fries, tiny bit of oily rocket on the side' for £20.50 would of expected more. Ordered medium well, it came out dark pink inside sent it back and it was replaced with an over cooked dry chewy one. First time ever eating in a lounge and won't be trying any more in the future

Me and my partner were in Falmouth for a weekend trip. We are familiar with lounges but Palacio lounge is unlike other lounges I have visited before, so welcoming, homely and a friendly atmosphere. A very special shoutout to George a true asset to this place. The Halloween quiz was truly hilarious . George you are the embodiment of customer service. Everything anyone could want from a dining out experience. We will definitely be back.

I’ve been to plenty of Lounges…but none have come close to Palacio Lounge. (George?) I’m sorry if I spelt your name wrong, but you cracked me and my partner up and made our experience something we won’t forget. The quiz was fantastic and had us in stitches. Your hospitality was top tier & I am yet to have a more memorable eating/drinking out experience. The service from the team was outstanding. We’ll be back soon!

Had a really nice time. Came for Jezebel birthday bash and it was amazing. Lots of fun, food was great (we had dinner afterwards), service was amazing and everyone was really friendly.

5-Star Review: I had the most incredible dining experience at Palacio Lounge! From the moment we walked in, the service was impeccable. The staff was warm, attentive, and went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. The food was delicious, but the service truly set this place apart. Every member of the team was professional yet friendly, creating a welcoming and comfortable atmosphere. Especially Jorge who was welcoming, funny and an eye candy! We will be back!

I always choose to do my online uni and marketing jobs here. The vibes are always great; the music slays, the art slays and the food slays. I can (and do) stay here for hours at a time and no one disturbs me. Also, they give students free hash browns during the week! My favourite cafe in falmouth <3

Slow service, just for cold drinks

Great location , great service, lovely interior and the best cooked breakfast of the holiday bar none! Delicious:) Really enjoyed the experience. Reasonably priced which for Cornwall is a joy in itself. Tables well speced out so ideal for our two dogs.

Stunning decor and amazing, friendly staff. Food was beautiful

We went for lunch as a family of four after reading the good reviews but sadly it fell short on our visit. We waited for nearly an hour for food! And when it finally came, the poached eggs that I had ordered for my little boy had whole egg shells in it! Not little shards of egg shells but two halves of eggshells covered in hollandaise sauce. I’ve never seen anything like it - the chef must have been having a very off day to miss that. The staff were apologetic and gave us a free drink to compensate (as well as replacing the meal) but it has put me off from visiting again.

Staff are always super friendly, helpful and the food is fantastic and affordable! I was served by a lovely lady called Kira, who made myself and my dog very very welcome and looked after when I took my dog in for her birthday breakfast from their dog menu Will highly recommend a visit!

Visited twice; 15th February and 17th March. The Lounge is my go to place to eat! Affordable, relaxed and family friendly, and most importantly, my dairy free and gluten free intolerant body can USUALLY actually eat delicious food! In February they forgot to add my avocado to my all day breakfast and I didn't realise until it was too late, but the Truro restaurant kindly added it on another day for me (as she was a staff member from Falmouth). In March, after eating THREE veggie breakfasts over February in *three different Lounges* this one came with some paprika looking powder sprinkled over the whole plate. It must of had dried onion or garlic in it because I was in so much pain I nearly cried. I tried to walk it off, and ended up having my worst ever traumatic experience on a public toilet, it was so bad I was tempted to email the council to apologise. I will eat here again, but I will make sure there has been no changes to the dishes.

Dropped in for a quick meal as I was starving. Had a burger and fries. The burger seemed to lack the lettuce and onion but had gherkin which I love. It was good and reasonably priced at £12.50..Good Spanish lager too I think Cruzcampo? This is a pleasant place to drop into and the staff are on the ball

Good food, fast service and good drinks. It's exactly what you'd expect from the place, and it's open quite late which is good too. Great breakfast spot, or meeting place. Popular for studying too, as you can just order from your phone.

The manager allowed us to reserve some seating upstairs to hold family drinks for my sons 18th birthday. Kira and staff went above and beyond to make the evening special. They worked their socks off constantly bringing drinks up those stairs. Fantastic team and great little venue.

We were here twice today. Very friendly staff, great restaurant in an old courthouse and super delicious food. The Bang Bang Chicken was to die for. We can highly recommend the Palacio Lounge. We will be back.

First time in a while, excellent food and service. One of our friends is Gluten free and says it's the best choice she has had in a very long time.

Very cute place! We took Elderflower’s sprits and some tapas. Everything was very tasty! We especially loved the bang bang cauliflower & king prawns.

Ordered the Nasi Goreng, was absolutely delicious, loved it. Slightly spicy so beware! But if you like a little spice in your life, this is the dish for you. Small portion so if you’re hungry you will need to order something else with it x

I love the art decor style atmosphere and quirky furniture, very friendly and helpful staff.

This place is big inside, the atmosphere is lovely, the bar staff are very friendly and the seating is lovely. We dined outside. We managed to eat before the seagulls spotted our food 😋 There are about 7 or 8 tables outside, but, being on the Moor, there are lots of seagulls. The food was delicious.

Advised to come here by staff at St Michaels health spa as I wanted a breakfast and they had stopped serving breakfast as I was late 😂. Anyway I was not disappointed top service from the extremely helpful and friendly staff. Food was spot on, I had the veg breakfast and eggs Benedict. Sat outside watching the world go by and other food choices come out, I might stay for lunch. Thank you, you’re awesome 🙏

Visited the Palacio Lounge as we been to other ‘lounges’ before. We stopped in for food and drinks, the building is lovely and as ever the interior of the lounges is always well decorated, far from a bland chain pub. The food was served quickly but both our meals lacked any seasoning, the burger was a great size but just too well done making it bland. We only stayed for a single drink as there was a strange atmosphere between two of the staff who were practically ignoring each other. This made the whole place feel uncomfortable unfortunately.

Title: "No Cookies in Cornwall: A Tale of QR Codes and Cornish Confusion" Right, my 'ansomes, let me tell 'ee 'bout our little escapade to this restaurant in Falmouth. Up the apples and pears we went, finding ourselves a cosy little nook upstairs. Now, you'd think being Cornish, we'd be used to a bit of technology by now, but when we spied a QR code to order our food, I felt more like a lost emmet than a savvy diner. Gone are the days when QR codes were a novelty—now they're as common as seagulls nicking your pasty. So out comes me phone, and we start the ordering malarkey. But here's the kicker: up pops a message asking if we'd accept some cookies. "Bleddy right I will!" I thought, imagining a nice plate of choccy biccies to go with our meal. We crack on with the ordering, and the food arrives, looking pretty lush for a chain place, although my wallet took a bit of a pasting. The view from our table was proper nice, overlooking the moor like something out of a Daphne du Maurier novel. The staff were friendly enough, but let's not beat around the bush—they weren't exactly run off their feet. Now, here's where it gets sticky as a Cornish cream tea debate. The app had the cheek to ask for a tip before we'd even seen any of this so-called service. I mean, really? If I'm doing all the legwork, the least you can do is wait until I've had a sniff of me pasty. Anyway, we tucked into our meal, nattering away like seagulls on a sunny day. But as the minutes ticked by, I realised something crucial was missing—where were me cookies? You can't dangle the promise of free cookies in front of a Cornishman and not deliver. It's practically criminal! After what felt like an eternity (or at least long enough for the tide to change), we gave up hope of ever seeing those elusive biscuits. Feeling more betrayed than when someone puts jam on a scone first, we trotted off to Tesco and treated ourselves to some ice creams. At least Mr. Tesco delivers on his promises. So, if you’re heading to this joint, be prepared for a decent meal, a bit of cheek from the app, and absolutely no cookies. Unless, of course, you count the ones in your browser history. Loved the food, great variety of options. Great building, lots of space, try going upstairs too. A little quiet when we visited.

We spent our time here in the wonderfully decorated lounge with good food and drinks. Loved the relaxing and homely atmosphere. There is a nice bar on the ground floor.

Good pub food at reasonable price. Plenty of room with good atmosphere. No messing about fast service. Good choice of beer, and other drinks.

Good place to sit outside in the sun and chat and drink beer and watch the world stroll by.

We visited Palacio Lounge in Falmouth for breakfast before heading home. The decor is fabulous & the restaurant is lovely & clean. The food is great & value for money. Our server was Milly, (who I believe has a managerial position) was fantastic, very attentive & seemed to run a very tight ship. She didn’t stop! Whatever she is paid.. isn’t enough! I wish all servers in restaurants were like Milly. She is an asset to the company.

Shared 3 tapas. It was a nice little snack. Palacious space. Some fun seating areas. Only complaint...no salt on margaritas. The guy at the bar said there is salt on the table!!! 😞 😃

Diverse menu, lovely food. Separate gluten free menu appreciated. Friendly efficient staff. Plenty of tables upstairs for large groups.

A nice quirky place - lofty and nicely done out. But because its probably a converted bank can be noisy. Service excellent and the food tasty. Ideal venue for loads of young people having their own fun lacks an intimacy. But we'll worth a try.

Nothing was too much trouble. Lovely staff and relaxed atmosphere. Dog friendly, they brought biscuits and water for the dogs. The manager spoke with my son for ages to check food allergies. 😁 We went for a family birthday and ages ranged from 13 to 70 and everyone was happy!

Excellent service and great food. Such a lovely atmosphere in the evenings with all the candles. Tapas Tuesday is such a good deal!

Fun location and vibe but let down by the food for the price. The fries are particularly bad value given the amount they give you. Drinks are well priced and the staff are friendly.

Nice place with good food but won't go there anymore. Can never get a seat. They let students order one drink and then sit there on their laptops using the free WiFi for hours. A busy Saturday and nearly every table had students on using laptops, some even playing cards! Not a single meal between them and all had empty glasses. One person sitting on their own at the sofa tables designed for 6 people, no food no drink just a laptop. We, who wanted to eat and drink, had to go somewhere else. Might as well be a student library or common room. Shame.

Came here for my birthday, the staff were friendly and lovely, the food was good. We had two milkshakes and they were really delicious. The service wasn’t fast however it was extremely busy! The interior decor is very quirky, lots of paintings of portraits on the walls. Very nice atmosphere in here regardless! Would 100% come again.

As a regular, it's a great place relax after a long day's work. They have good food, well presented, and as for the staff, well as Tina Turner sang they are 'simply the best'. putting a smile 😃 on my face even on the darkest of days.

Great menu, great food. If you're happy sit and have a few drinks before your meal it's great but the wait time on food can be slow so not great if you go in hungry

Didn't have food, but this is a good place for a meeting and coffee. Plenty of seating downstairs and upstairs. Good mix of tables and soft furnishings so you have a choice based on how you feel. Coffee is good, recommend the Flat White, service is always warm and welcoming. A grand building with lots of character, making it an excellent meeting place, coffee stop or place to eat.

They made a balloon hat for the guest of honour in our party. What's not to like!

Great food! I usually get one of the flatbreads, which are delicious. Lovely atmosphere and good, quick service. Good to chill and for students.

Beautifully decorated, no atmosphere but maybe because it was a lunchtime. Food was nice but expensive for what we had especially as chips were cold.

Generally, my rule is not to dine in chain restaurants with large menus as the food is pre made with no real flair or personality. I have to say in this case I was pleasantly surprised. Best haloumi fries I have ever tried! It was good and nicely decorated if your nearby and want a quick bite, then give it a try

Standard 'Lounge' food. Reasonable quality and reasonable price. Cocktails great as usual. Bit lacking in atmosphere compared other Lounges I've visited. No staff welcoming people on arrival.

Part of a chain. Soooooooo GOOD. Epic old architecture large building. Chill vibe. Came here to work on my laptop. Stayed for huge vegan breakfast chosen from an entirely vegan menu. Lovely staff. Quiet at 10am on a Tuesday. Just made my day/trip actually. Good wifi too

My partner and I went for brunch/breakfast, there were lots of options available and the food was delicious.

The place looks lovely. We popped in for lunch. The place for quite busy. The bar staff looked overwhelmed. Everyone was very lovely. We ordered a burger and Nasi Goreng. Tje burger was okay but the Nasi Goreng was horrible. They put so much oil I felt sick. Shame as we would come back again but definitely not for the food.

Great venue, food and service and good value

Popped in here Saturday night just for a drink, liked the atmosphere & vibe so decided to come back the next day for lunch. Had tasty beef brisket chilli & spicy rice & enjoyed it immensely. Very reasonable prices too.

Love this place , the tapas are fantastic, we actually think the Lounge offers some of the best food in Falmouth. We tried the new menu today ( lamb shwarma) and as per, it was fab. The front of house staff are always friendly.

Certainty not a patch on other Lounges. Must be a very poor copy. Wondered why it was almost empty at lunchtime, now we know. Not worth telling staff as they had already insulted another would be customers by sarcastically wishing them “Have a nice Day” while smirking behind their backs as they left.

Always a great place to come for food or drinks. Staff behind the bar are always polite and friendly. The food is great and they cater to dietary requirements with a separate menu for gluten free and vegan. There is always a good atmosphere! :)

It's a lounge, you know what you are getting. On the major plus side is that Tapas actually is Tapas sized... but obviously much more expensive than Spain or Portugal. Staff were efficient and really cheerful so must be a good place to work. We keep going back sousy be OK.

I love the food here, it's a great selection and most dishes are balanced or at least garnished in a way that they both look good and you don't feel completely guilty for eating ;) I'd say you get a decent amount of food for the price and the mobile order-to-table experience is seamless, with a section to write notes if you need customisation. Definitely would recommend for a place to study with a coffee, a proper breakfast, or a meal with friends and/or family :)

Thursday 24th August 2023, After being in Falmouth art gallery for five hours at the King Arthur Exhibition my husband and I were in need of refreshments. Just across the round from the gallery was the ‘Palacio Lounge’, where my husband and I went for refreshments. We were given a warm welcome and we found a nice table where we had a pot of tea and a hazelnut latte and rested for a while before starting back up Warren Hill to the car park. This is a nice place with a lively atmosphere and friendly staff.

I was greeted upon entering. Then nothing. Despite wait staff doing wait work on the left and right of me, nothing. I turned my chair so I was facing the bar across the broad open floor. Nothing. As I left I mentioned to the barman that I appeared to be invisible and I was certain others would be happy to accept my money.
