Possibly the worst cooked breakfast we’ve ever attempted to eat . The service was polite and no problems there but the food was simply awful . Processed ham , a pale fried egg and some frozen chips . Indelible and the little I ate repeated on me all day , my daughter felt quite unwell after attempting to eat the full English - managed 1 sausage toast and a few beans . Go over the bridge and there are some beautiful cafes instead.

Excellent food, brilliant service, and really lovely café. I had a cooked breakfast and even the egg was somehow cooked to perfection. It was all cooked fresh, too. I would 100% recommend Café Pagoda and will be coming again the next time I'm in Richmond.

Sadly the sausage panini was “filled” with one small thin sausage surgically sliced thinly lengthwise and little else! It was a poor and mean serving. I opened it up to add some sauce and struggled to find much in there at all! Come on, don’t be so tight on a simple filling that could result in a not great review ..oh it has!

Popped in today for something to eat before heading to Kew Gardens. Extensive menu and the traditional breakfast was lovely. The best cup of tea I have had outside of home in years. Speedy service and cheap. Thoroughly recommend.

If you're looking for a quick drink or bite to eat before going into Kew Gardens then you won't go far wrong here. A lovely little cafe which is very clean and when we visited had two staff members, possibly the owners who were so friendly. Prices also appeared very reasonable and certainly better than paying the prices charged by Kew Gardens. Would recommend as a stop off before visiting the gardens.

It’s a no from me! We ordered from Uber eats and you think this is a panini? Also my milkshake wasn’t wrapped properly so it spilled everywhere. This has to be the worst delivery that I have had in my life. Save yourself..

Stopped in after getting of the tube. Very nice people and a nice menu. Outdoor seating was nice to grab a breakfast sandwich and coffee to start your day

I've had a quick stop by at Cafe Pagoda with friends and family. The staff was extremely welcoming and friendly. Food was cooked to perfection and it tasted glorious! Portions were very handsome and it was always great for them to check on us to see if we needed anything during our feast. I would like to especially thank the owner, chef and the waitress for everything. Highly recommend If you ever stop by Kew!

Breakfasts are delicious and a great variety of lunch dishes. A must if hung over and desparate for a bacon and egg sandwich

This could be a gem; the setting in Kew Gardens is very special but the food is quite unexceptional and very expensive for what is offered. A disappointment.

Just about sums it up really, I’m in London and I’m English, I’m touring Kew Gardens and would like a cup of milk and to chill out, my partner had tea. I paid for milk but when I asked for it, they grunted and pointed to a huge jug, I asked for a cup and when he brought it he’d filled it with hot frothy milk, I said I wanted cold milk and again he grunted and pointed at this jug, he was east European I think, he then went back to his conversation. Again I asked for a cup for my milk that I’d already paid for and again he pointed to this jug and grunted like a pig grunts, “I need a cup” I said and he shook his head, again he pointed to the jug, so I picked it up and went and sat down taking the four pint jug with me, full of milk. The girl on the till said something to him and he threw a paper cup at me that landed on the floor, so I took a long drink from the jug before he snatched it back from me!

We were headed for the National Archives - and got off the tube really thirsty and hungry. Popped in the Pagoda, and were surprised to find such a reasonably priced café serving breakfast and a cuppa. Although the décor was a little tired, the tables, cutlery and plates were immaculate - no greasy spoons here. Seating indoors if cold and wet, and outdoors if needed. Would have given an excellent, if the breakfast had come with a slice of toast. Very nice staff, and all-round a pleasant breakfast. Thank-you - we will put you on our "places to eat in London that are reasonably priced" list.

Heading to the National Archives for a meeting I wanted a coffee and some breakfast. I came out of kew gardens station and there on my left was the pagoda cafe..perfect! It's by no means a posh cafe but a typical greasy spoon place..and cheap too..well for London it's cheap. I had a large sausage in a fresh crusty roll and a frothy coffee..£1.60 for the roll and same for coffee. Great value. The downside for being good value is the quality of the food..It wasn't a quality banger but on a cold wet morning it did not matter to me!!

Full English minus the egg. Cup of tea x2. Excellent spot watching the world go by outside the station. Quality of sausage let them down. All round though ‘average’ doesn’t paint the full picture - it was better than that, just a little short of a 4*. Also must be said that they’re a lovely bunch who run the place and other clientele eating created a good weekend atmosphere.

What a great find. Just needed a light bite, but London is just so overpriced. Couldn’t believe our luck when we stumbled upon this little gem. Ham and chips, ham,egg and chips, one tea and one coffee £7. Ok so it’s not gourmet, but who needs that for lunch. The other customers where all having full breakfast with chips, which was also excellent value.

This tiny cafe, just outside Kew Gardens Station (trains from Central London to Richmond platform) is perfect for quick refreshment before heading to either the National Archives or to the Royal Botanic Gardens. It is nothing complicated, simple tea or coffee and a variety of traditional all day breakfasts, (egg, ham and chips, sausage, beans and chips etc). Prices are very reasonable. There are only a couple of tables inside and they have a few tables outside. I can highly recommend the Cafe Pagoda before or after visits to the Archives or the Kew Gardens.

Nice place, but food really poor. There must be a mess in the kitchen, as pieces of fish found itself stuck under the vegan garlick bread. Fish and chips - fish soft and soggy.

Absolutely recommend The Wharf. We were there for my sisters 50th birthday Barbara, Debbie & KP were all very accommodating even though it was the festive season menu we could tweak it so my sister felt it was her actual birthday not Christmas! Food was impeccable atmosphere was electric with a DJ which made the party come alive! A huge shout out to KP for being our right hand man making sure our celebrations went off without a hitch. The staff were always at hand making sure we had a great night. The Wharf is an amazing venue for couples families or friends. This is my 2nd big event at The Wharf as we had a big retirement/work do in the summer with a huge buffet accommodating nearly 100 guests. As I said I would highly recommend The Wharf. Can’t wait to go back in the new year.

Very busy pub , however incredibly beautiful , drinks were delicious as we did not have time to eat , and the service was good

We have enjoyed eating here in the past but on this occasion it was a definite deux points. When you pay nearly £50 for two small plates of fish and chips and two pints of cider you expect it to be better than the fish and chips at Morrisons. Instead the fish was dry and clearly not restaurant quality while the chips were indifferent at best. If I’d paid £8 in a cafe I would have been disappointed but in a “bistro” pub that pretends to be a Belgian style restaurant it feels like yet another eating establishment that has lost its way.

Just dropped in for a single pint on route to a restaurant meal. Pub is fine, food offerings look OK, but we didn't eat. My only issue was that there were no hand-pumps, hence no proper ale and I didn't see any on keg either. Nice enough place if you like a good selection of lagers.
