The menu was full of wonderful choices - I took my time to decide which wonderful dishes to choose, that’s really great The food was truly delicious and the plates were lovely and warm - important … I thanked the chef afterwards Great friendly warm atmosphere - Kalpesh is so full of super energy and very welcoming and so is Rony - Shilesh makes the best cocktails in Greater London without a doubt (These guys are amazing) See you very soon &&& Thankyou for making the evening special

We had a brilliant evening at The Wharf, the best Burns Night we’ve had in years. There were bagpipes, great food, a beautiful setting, and great haggis and whiskey. Would recommend to anyone in the area.

Fantastic Burns Night at The Wharf. Went with friends for Burns night the other day. First time I have been to the wharf for such an occasion it was just brilliant, musicians , Scottish dancing , bagpipers ! Best night ever food was delicious , although we did wait a bit as it was so full but worth the wait ! We will be back for sure next year . Highly recommend

What an evening. I visited the Wharf with a group of friends last night and what a great night it was! From the welcome Champagne (or whisky as an alternative) to delicious canapes, fabulous food following by a dancing, I couldn’t have wanted for me. A really delicious Scottish themed menu. Service was very attentive. Food a little slow in parts but with a totally packed restaurant it was understandable. The atmosphere was wonderful and I will definitely visit again.

I dined with family and friends at The Wharf for New Years and cannot stress enough how exceptional our evening was. From outstanding service provided by the lovely staff, to a beautifully decorated bar and restaurant area, fabulous jazz music and not to mention the FOOD! With every bite of all the courses was explosions of flavour and taste. I’ve struggled to find anywhere else matching the level of quality in everything we had. Thank you so much to everyone at The Wharf for our fantastic evening. I can’t imagine a better way to have ended 2024!

We had a wonderful New Year’s Eve at the Wharf Restaurant,. Great atmosphere and fantastic food . Each dinner course was superb and this is not easy to get right on such a busy night .we chose the scallops, beef wellington and chocolate cheesecake and they not disappoint ! The staff really made us feel welcome and they were very attentive . We can’t wait to return 😁

We booked a table for 6 at short notice and they were able to fit us in. Service was excellent, friendly and helpful. The food was outstanding and we had a fantastic lunch. I would recommend highly and will definitely visit again.

Love the Wharf - Fabulous Birthday lunch, Cocktail delicious good service Food excellent . And this comes at a price £100+ ahead. They did use to offer a Sunday fixed menu But was replace with this menu . Enjoyed it but feel - ripped off:

There was no one to greet us on arrival and we practically had to serve our own pre dinner drinks. Slow to offer menus or generally make us welcome. Once we were seated, service was generally good but no water offered. Food was good but desert selection was uninspiring. Overall an expensive Sunday lunch.

I had a very unpleasant encounter coming to dine here. Before even making it into the restaurant two women approached me who claimed to own the place were very inhospitable and made very unkind remarks about myself and former members of their team. I felt massively discriminated by them!

Absolutely recommend The Wharf. We were there for my sisters 50th birthday Barbara, Debbie & KP were all very accommodating even though it was the festive season menu we could tweak it so my sister felt it was her actual birthday not Christmas! Food was impeccable atmosphere was electric with a DJ which made the party come alive! A huge shout out to KP for being our right hand man making sure our celebrations went off without a hitch. The staff were always at hand making sure we had a great night. The Wharf is an amazing venue for couples families or friends. This is my 2nd big event at The Wharf as we had a big retirement/work do in the summer with a huge buffet accommodating nearly 100 guests. As I said I would highly recommend The Wharf. Can’t wait to go back in the new year.

When we arrived at the restaurant after traveling for an hour we found that it was closed due to a private function. This was despite having our booking confirmed the day before

Sunday roast was delicious, and the Jazz trio were very good!

The Wharf is a restaurant we use to entertain our business guests and friends pre match when watching England at Twickenham. This was my first time at The Wharf, it won't be my last, the location by the river was lovely, Kalpesh and the whole team were brilliant, with fabulous food and wine delivered expertly to the great delight of our guests. Thank you to all at the Warf.

Listening to Jazz while having a Sunday roast. The overall experience was lovely but the service was a little slow due to how busy the restaurant was. We will be back again for another time. Hopefully a better seating arrangement as we were next to a large table of 25. I would recommend getting a round table in the future.

I come regularly with friends to the Wharf but each time, i could get the set menu which was good and cheaper than a la carte menu . I DID NOT KNOW that on Fridays you did not do it. WHY ? There were not many customers in the restaurant so you could easily do it . A disappointing experience

First time visit. It was very busy due to live music, which was fine, but I had to wait ages and had to ask to be served. The spirits are sold as doubles, and you're not asked if you want a single, so beware it knocks up the price massively if you're not aware. The food is very nice but beware if you have the steak you only get steak and some chips no sides come with it which I thought was quite expensive for what we got. Make sure you check the bill!!! There were 2x additional dishes added to my bill, which weren't ours. The issue was rectified but clearly wasn't checked. Remember to take into account that with the service charge and VAT that's an extra £50 to add to your bill. Its a nice place and tastefully done and an experience, but I don't think I'd eat there again, I've definitely had better food that cost less.

Excellent seafood at this nicely located riverside restaurant. It was s busy Sunday lunchtime and it is clear this place is popular. We went to celebrate our son’s wedding anniversary and we all enjoyed it. Note some tables are very close together, specially those with a river view. Service was ok given how busy it was. The seafood platter to start was really good, including oysters, mussels, prawns etc. Fish pie was pretty good and the roast chicken was reported to be very well cooked. Not cheap but a good place for a special meal.

We came here for the Jazz night. Music was exceptional, food was some of the best we have had in a long time. Only real complaint was being on a table for two in a busy spot with lots of people passing. Table with a family of 20 behind who insisted on dancing on top of us was also not ideal. But these are probably good problems to have if you’re a restaurant - it was very busy!

First time here, jazz festival Confusion booking on line but have to say, staff were accommodating, food was very good, jazz superb, so definitely will be back. Service was excellent 👌

Although past experience hasn't always been as favourable, due to somewhat surly service, I cannot fault today's experience... Today, all three of us enjoyed genial, helpful, and efficient service; delicious three course meals; wonderful music and lovely ambiance. All in all, a perfect celebration of my friend's special birthday. I look forward to my next visit, and would happily recommend The Wharf.

Lovely neighborhood place for a nice evening. We made our booking without knowing it was Jazz night and though the music was good, it was too loud. Perhaps more comms?

We love The Wharf restaurant. The staff are all lovely very helpful and attentive. A very relaxing atmosphere. The food is very nice but could be presented better on the plate so it looks a bit more appealing.

One of our group has difficult walking. The patience and discreet care for this person in order to enjoy a wonderful lunch, overlooking the river, exceeded expectations. The Wharf consistently delivers wonderful food but more importantly service that always ensures a super dining experience. Even the sun came out to add to a great lunch. Thank you.

We booked The Wharf earlier this month for our wedding and it surpassed our expectations! All of our guests were blown away by the gorgeous location and delicious food, with everything expertly organised on the day by KP, who we cannot thank enough! We’re still getting compliments weeks later (especially about the beef wellington and tuna!). We can’t wait to come back for each anniversary, and many times in between, as it is such a lovely venue. Thanks to all on the day who made it so special and stress-free . We were able to bring in our own band who really got the party started, even the fab bar staff had a dance behind the bar! We would highly recommend for weddings, or just a lovely lunch/ dinner (and cocktail!)

Very good food in nice surroundings with attentive staff

Gorgeous restaurant setting and ambience. Great service. But still disappointingly poor options for vegetarians. Both the quantity/ just 2 out of 15 options (when 1 in 4 Southern don’t eat meat) and quality of choice. Not even a Sunday lunch option! A risotto is a veggie cliche and dreaded option as just so dated and dull. It’s slush and mush with no texture. Couldn’t you offer some pasta/ gnocchi options in a rich creamy sauce?

Went to the Wharf for a private birthday party for friends. Everyone had a good time and the food and drinks were good.

Service and food very good. It was one of the better roasts I've had in a while. Will visit again in the summer when we can sit outside.

Tuvimos nuestra recepción de boda en el muelle en septiembre y fue una experiencia increíble. Empezamos a charlar con KP, Debbie y Barbara aproximadamente un año antes y fue una gran experiencia. Su experiencia, orientación y flexibilidad hicieron que todo el proceso fuera fácil y relajado. El día, el equipo de Wharf proporcionó canapés y camareros en nuestra ceremonia, seguido de una deliciosa comida de 3 platos, bebidas, comida nocturna y pista de baile. Todo era perfecto - la comida era increíble (todos comentaron) , el servicio era perfecto y el lugar era perfecto para el número de personas que teníamos. No podemos agradecer más a KP y a su equipo. Ahora siempre recordaremos el Muelle como un lugar tan especial para nosotros. ¡Gracias!

Ambience poor. But the big issue here was the fact that they said the food didnt have gluten but it and made me very ill. They apologised which is good. Also they delivered the wrong order. Food was overall not bad.

One of my favourite restaurants. Nice views, friendly people and satisfying food. You won't want to miss their seafood festival. BTW they close at 5 on Sunday, don't trust Google map.

Perhaps my mistake as I hadn't checked the What's On section- if I had ,I would have noticed that the date we went was a Sea Food special evening. Being allergic to shell fish and having a family that prefer meat to fish, the menu was very limited for us on that specific day. Sea food lovers were probably delighted with it! For future reference I think this information should have been made very obvious on the web site as both my self and other family members had looked at the menu in advance, but none of them noticed it was a Seafood/fish event. Staff did accommodate us and we went off menu which was good of them and the chef, but it cost us more than we had anticipated due to the options available to us. In general this is an attractive restaurant with good staff and a nice ambience. The live music was very good, but as a family reunion, we had wanted to talk to each other and it was a bit loud much of the time- again possibly my mistake- :( perhaps if id checked the 'What's On' section I would have seen there was live music.

Great sea food and good service. We enjoyed the music that was provided by very good players. We go to the Wharf with our dog as they are dog friendly. Unfortunately on this occasion our company on the next table were not on their best behaviour which took the edge off of this occasion.

We had a large group event and it was particularly well organized by The Wharf. Of course the location is excellent, the bar was roomy and very comfortable with polite, professional bartenders. The specialty cocktails were excellent. We moved along to a dinning room which had been setup for us, no delays. There were adequate waitstaff for our group and they knew just how to handle a large group (30+). Everyone seemed happy with their meals and there was no difficulty with the 15+ separate checks. I do remember that the desserts were especially popular!

Nice location but really lacked atmosphere for us. Food pretty good but nothing personal. No fresh flowers on tables. Felt like Instagram or Christmas party venue. Staff helpful but did not feel 'involved'. Something missing?

Excellent food, friendly and attentive staff. The live jazz band with the exceptional Tracy Ray on vocals made for a lovely atmosphere. The doors open to the terrace, made The Wharf Teddington the perfect place to be for a celebratory family Sunday Lunch.

My wife and I were celebrating our anniversary and made the perfect choice with the Wharf. Both our meals were extremely good. I chose the belly of pork which was like heaven on earth .My wife chose the beef which she said was cooked just how she liked it. It was clear that some of the young staff were learning the ropes but this didn’t detract from the service being overall very good..I also thought that the jazz band added something extra special. We definitely plan a return Sunday visit.

First time dining at the Wharf in Teddington yesterday ( Sunday lunch) with friends. Beautiful setting on the river with views, lovely building, great atmosphere. We were greeted by a very enthusiastic and professional restaurant manager Kalpesh Patel who made us very welcome. We had reserved a table which had a lovely airy feel as it was open to the riverside. We enjoyed delicious food which was beautifully prepared and presented...we all chose different dishes and all were well appreciated. My melon and goats cheese with Parma ham salad was plentiful as a starter and fresh and delicious as was my main of grilled hake. All main dishes came with a large portion of veggies... infact the portion sizes were very generous. Service from the whole serving team was very good. It was lovely to enjoy live jazz that was playing in the background... my only criticism was that it was a little loud as we had to speak louder when having conversations with each other as the music was too loud, but otherwise very pleasant. We will be coming again for sure. It was pretty perfect.

Pure service. Low average food. Extremely noisy music - measured to above 110 decibel. Impossible to have a conversation and overall very unpleasant. Would we come back ? No - I don’t think so.

Came here for my best friends wedding - it is an excellent venue for a wedding, and would be a lovely spot for some lunch during a boat trip or walk along the river

What a gem 💎 We came yesterday especially for the half lobster and chips and that did not disappoint . Such a lovely setting for lunch near the river Thames. The staff were particularly excellent in every aspect from - front of house who gave such a warm welcome , waiting staff were attentive & helpful without being overly intrusive so you could enjoy your lunch. Also the lovely waiter that dealt with an issue I had so well and in a kindly manner. We will recommend and definitely return ❤️ Averil

A very pleasant lunch, lovely food, patient service, reasonable prices.

Despite being in the throughs of preparing an imminent wedding reception the restaurant manager 'KP' took personal charge- setting us at the prime table on the river terrace, organizing and we suspect personally preparing the Greek salads and lobster( superb): faultless service and dining. Very well done indeed.

On the 28th July we visited this establishment. The Head waiter was oddly catty and was pushing to remove us from our reserved table until it became apparent that we were not moving from the nice view we wanted. Then the food was appalling, the salmon starter the couple of slices of bread, dry and curld with a few square slices dumped unceremoniously it's lucky salmons flavour is hard to destroy and the balance of non salmon ingredients felt like a economy exercise because it was not a elegance one. The Lobster was much the same a flavourless mess apart from being bitter saying they are poor at dispatching. The hake was a little better but again hard to get wrong without it being sent back. Everything felt like it was preped poorly days in advance. They then missed taking our cocktail order because we had the audacity to not want a third badly produced course. And then the final nail in the coffin was the catty one sent the most worried little girl waitress over with the lie that our bill had it's 20% discount pre applied. I believe we made the mistake of polightly checking on the way in that we could use it with the set menu and this is the justification for the catty ones actions, the food and the staffs abruptness I fear. It's a shame such a terrible establishment is in this wonderful location. I was hoping to have the excuse visit regularly when I sat down by the time I had the starter I was feeling like a inconvenience and by the time I left I was having to bite my tongue at the treatment that stemmed from the catty head waiter and his obvious judgment of me and my partner. Obviously he back stabbed his way to this lofty position but thank God he will never make it to being a true maître d'. Best I think he moves to a call centre, low middle management, from what I hear he would fit that exalted position much better. Or maybe sales assistant in hermes branch.

We have dined at The Wharf a number of times over the past few years and it’s always been very good. However on this occasion (belated birthday celebration) our experience was excellent. A combination of delicious food and wine, attentive service and super, relaxed atmosphere made for a wonderful evening for both of us.

We were very lucky with the weather as it was the hottest day of the year so we sat outside with a wonderful view of the river and Teddington Lock. The service was good and professional and the food lovely. I would recommend the souffle which was perfect.

The Wharf is our favourite restaurant ever. Had our wedding reception here two years ago and have been back each year to celebrate. Food always perfect, so delicious. KP couldn't do enough for us, he always makes it so so special. Can't wait to come back.

Beautiful setting with a great ambience for lunch. The staff are attentive but not intrusive. I had skate and it was absolutely delicious, so well cooked. I would recommend The Wharf to all.

Wondeful setting and service. Food was delicious!

I hired their private room upstairs for an intimate wedding celebration and the team were exceptional to work with. In the months leading up to the wedding they very helpful to organise meetings to ensure all preparations were made and provided recommendations for live music. They were able to deliver exactly what we wanted in creating a relaxing but elevated evening to celebrate with our friends and family. The food was delicious and curated to our tastes, and the staff were very attentive in making sure we had everything we needed. Thank you to Barbara, Debbie, KP and the evening staff for a great evening :)

Absolutely glorious afternoon overlooking the river enjoying delicious food with my friends. The service was impeccable and my choice from the daily lunch menu was perfect. Gazpacho with croutons and pesto was amazing and the pasta too. My friends said their prawn cocktail was delicious as was the salmon patty. The only niggle for me was the small side portion of seasonal vegetables, but only a tiny niggle, everything else was perfect.

A really special afternoon tea in a beautiful setting. Would recommend to all.

We had a lovely meal to celebrate an anniversary. The service from the young waiter was excellent and the food lovely though my partner thought his skate wing was smaller than on our last visit and slightly overcooked. My haddock was excellent and the moules marinieres delicious. We had a great table overlooking the Thames.

A quiet gem of a restaurant with river views. The food was superb, the service amazing. The ambiance was a bit quiet as the restaurant wasn't very busy and there was no background music. However, it was perfect for having a conversation with everyone at the table. There are very few places like this in Teddington. Therefore it is very sad that the surrounding residents seem to try to impose restrictions on the place... Keeping the noise down, closing early etc. etc.

Should have left as soon as we were shown an unclothed table with one water glass, right by the stairs, if I had moved my chair back without looking, I would have fallen down the stairs, right in the thoroughfare, next to a very large party. We asked for another table, but none available. Long wait between courses as staff dealing with party, food ok, had better. Will not recommend or return.

Lovely experience for my Grandad’s 80th birthday, the food was delicious. We didn’t get seated where we had asked to be which was a shame as we had previously booked with this as a promise, however the experience was lovely. It was our waitresses first day and she did a great job, we didn’t get her name but I hope this is passed on!

On the water, a special Venue for special occasions and reasonably priced enough for a family dinner on a Saturday night. Lovely food, great service

Advice on wine much appreciated, lamb partially over cooked and delicious soufflé. Nit picking! Wrong person was addressed as having the birthday. Also delicious fruit dessert. A very pleasant experience overall.
