Had a meal last night Saturday 31/8/24 and food was excellent, had the sharing starter which was beautifully presented and with lots of different fish. I would highly reccomend. Staff were very helpful, attentive and friendly especially victoria. The restaurant and facilities were very clean also

Had a delicious meal at Padam. Popped out for a bank holiday lunch and was intrigued that have recently reopened as a fish restaurant (used to be an Italian) which is great for Maidenhead to have something a bit different. I talked to the chef about my dairy free preference and he gave great advice on the menu and the options. We went for the starter platter which was so beautifully presented and great value for the amount of excellently prepared fish you get (sorry didn't get a picture!) but there was cervich, gradvalax, anchovies, tuna and salmon tartar, 2 oysters and a basket of garlic oil drizzled bread. Really great way to try lots of different fish. And for main we had a whole sea bass with baby potatoes and green veg and it was delicious. We were fine to get stuck into the whole fish and remove the bones - know that's not for everyone, and also know that the chef (Afrim) would have happily done it for us if we didn't want to. Since their reopening they are still ironing out some details - e.g. the fish display where you can choose and select the fish by weight is coming soon but we wouldn't have noticed anything out of the ordinary. They're aiming for a special experience which was matched with the great service from Viktoria. The food was fresh, well cooked and the chef clearly cares about what he's doing and wanting you to enjoy the food. Many of the accompaniments have hand made elements - the chocolate mouse in a chocolate dome had a handmade coulis and was the perfect mix of fruit and chocolate. And the mango sorbet was also high quality and delicious. We had a great experience, highly recommend. The decor has a really nice vibe to it too with lots of great artwork and furnishings. Think they've done a great job.

Service is up and beyond. It’s really had to find genuine fish bar unless you travel to London. Thank you Padam!

What an incredible meal! We went for our anniversary and couldn't have wished for better food. The chef came to chat and offered recommendations, he even treated us to an additional octopus dish that was amazing! The staff were incredibly friendly, every course amazing and really great value for the quality too. This is the kind of restaurant we need in the town, it deserves to do well, passionate chef, great staff, fresh fish cooked to perfection. We'll be back!

Absolutely amazing dinner. Huge credits to chef Afrim. One of the best seafood dishes that I have had in a long while. I particularly recommend the linguine and lobster dish. The staff are very friendly and welcoming.

I stumbled across this 3 week old establishment while searching for food after gym....Victoria looked after me from the moment I arrived, nice woman very professional and knowledgeable about fish... I had seabass it was to die for

Just had an amazing meal. The starters and main courses were recommended by the chef, Afrim. The starter was the Royal Platter which included salmon, tuna tartare, oysters , sea bass cerviche and more. The mains lobster linguine and more but the stand out dish for me was the truffle and prawn pasta Tartufo and gamberoni. A really amazing and delicious meal,

We walked passed, I thought it was another curry house ( only because of the name ) but the woman started speaking to us and we went in, the food was delicious, so much flavour, the general manger was so polite and helpful, it was a mix of Italian/Mediterranean. We were made so welcome, but the food was amazing, well presented, if your looking for good food in Maidenhead, I would give it a go 🙂

Padam now does breakfast and I am very glad because this Sundays breakfast was the best in maidenhead. Very generous portions with loverly sausages. Small quibbble would be better if the bacon was grilled. Victoria was our very excellence waitress attentive and friendly

Honestly the best food I’ve had in an incredibly long time! Credits to the chef afrim who was absolutely amazing and came out to meet us at the end, should probably be working with Ramsey. Our hostess Jovana took very good care for us all evening and made us feel very welcome. This felt like a 5 star experience that I honestly would have paid 100’s for! A great meal we enjoyed thoroughly and will be coming back for very soon!

Visiting in the UK for a couple of weeks and was absolutely blown away by the food. Astounding quality, excellent taste, and incredible service. The food was very reasonably priced, especially for how wonderful it was. I have to give my utmost compliments to the chef, Afrim, and our lovely server, Jovana. I highly recommend and will be returning soon!

Stopped by for a quick drink on Saturday night and was impressed by quality of cocktails they served. I’ve had many Long Island Iced Teas across many places and many countries and this was right up there with the best of them. Will be back for more soon!

Padam is a hidden gem in Maidenhead, the staff are lovely and friendly - shoutout to Jo who made me feel so special on my birthday, the food is fantastic and fresh and the atmosphere is lovely. Highly recommend!

On Saturday we had such a lovely meal at Padam. The food was excellent and cooked perfectly, the live music was amazing really good atmosphere and the staff were so attentive but also gave us enough time between courses not to feel rushed at all. 5 stars all round

Just had the most amazing dinner and drinks at Padam in town. There is live music on tonight which is so lovely and we have been able to sit outside with the most loveliest ambience with gorgeous little table lamps. For a moment I forgot I was in Maidenhead. Fillet steak was exceptional, just perfect. The staff were attentive and so lovely. We will deffo be back. If you haven’t tried it I totally recommend xx Ps live music every Saturday

Food was decent but cocktails were awful, watery & not correctly made. Had to send the margarita back it was that bad. Friendly staff but overpriced considering what we had.

Just had a meal at padam. And without a doubt one of the best meals out I’ve had in a long time. Fresh seafood that the chef even showed us before he prepared our meal. Lovely staff. Highly recommend & we will be back.

Great customer service and ambience; front of house are great. The food however is the most disappointing Italian I've had in years- wouldn't return unfortunately. Small portion (6 ravioli for £16), expensive, tepid, oily, bland. Real shame

We were on a short trip to a completely new location with many quite demanding commitments on our first day and found this Restaurant by chance in mid evening. We are so glad we did. On a busy Friday night we were placed near to the excellent live Musicians and thoroughly enjoyed their playing. What was noticeable was that we could actually converse without problem and so enjoy the ambience of this delightful Restaurant with highly attentive staff and delicious food. On the following Monday we are a beeline for the Restaurant after a demanding day traipsing around the relatively nearby Windsor Castle. We were again attended by the wonderful Victoria who is an excellent ambassador for the Restaurant in that nothing was too much trouble, she amazingly remembered our drinks of choice and gave us excellent information on what was on the menu. We thought that this Restaurant had everything that you could want for an enjoyable meal in lovely surroundings and at a reasonable price. We heartily would recommend it to one and all!

Staff is very friendly and polite. Starter: goat cheese with rocket salad and chilli jam - absolutely gorgeous. Main: roasted almond seabass - the is a very rich and fatty main. I had to order a glass of white wine to dissolve the almost nauseating richness. Overall fantastic!!

One thing that can make or break my experience of a dinner from the moment I walk in is the lighting. Padam is perfectly lit, with gentle table lamps creating an inviting ambiance from the moment you arrive. Seating is plush and comfortable and the restaurant was more up-market than I had expected, and certainly more so than most of its predecessors in the location, so I was pleasantly surprised (though possibly under-dressed!) A sign at the door promised live music, which I always consider a gamble, but they had selected a brilliant duo of singer and guitarist, who provided the ideal background music for the evening. Service was impeccable - there were a good many efficient waiting staff and they were swift, attentive and unobtrusive. The food was sensational - beautiful presentation and really delicious, with excellent ingredients used - plump king prawns and scallops in our starters, good-sized and perfectly cooked steaks and the pasta dish I had was gorgeous. Dessert was a superb cheesecake, which tasted home-made (which it apparently was) and was very moreish! The only thing I'd watch out for is the eye-watering prices on the wine list. Luckily, they have a range of very decently-priced Albanian wines, which we found to be very pleasant drinking. The highlight of our evening, however, is their hostess/maître d', Jo. She is the jewel in their crown - charming, witty, elegant and great at her job. She is clearly passionate about the restaurant and a great ambassador for it. We will definitely tell people about our experience and look forward to returning.

We visited Padam tonight for the first time. The restaurant was beautifully lit and the table were laid with crisp white tablecloths and huge wine glasses. We were greeted by a gorgeous lady called Jo, who looked after us for the entire evening. The food was wonderful, we had steak, scallops and salmon, folllowed by cheesecake. There was live music, but it was very much background music, it wasn’t loud and did not interrupt conversation, it simply added to the ambience. I would wholeheartedly recommend Padam, and if you’re lucky enough to be greeted by Jo, you won’t be disappointed.

Popped in by chance on a Tuesday night and was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food and excellent service from the staff. Our server, Victoria was lovely and attentive. The menu is varied and offered lots of choice. Between us we had the lamb chops (cooked perfectly) and a generous portion, the truffle ravioli (which was unctuous) and the steak tagliatelle (which was a bowl full of goodness). Would highly recommend as an alternative to other places in town!

Nice service received. However, the size of starters is not equivalent with the price. For the bowl of mussels I only receive one small tiny slice of bread. Calamari, wry tasty, but again, maybe 5 small tiny calamari was served.

Good restaraunt, the staff were welcoming and friendly. They had music on the night we came, a bit loud as we couldn't hear each other speak. So they moved us to another table. Food was very tasty and service was excellent. Would recommend a visit.

We took our Mum for Mothers day on Saturday evening. Wow, this is a restaurant so badly needed in Maidenhead! The staff could not do enough to make our experience enjoyable and the live singer certainly set the mood. The food was simply amazing and we are quite a fussy bunch, but nothing was too much trouble. Everyone loved the food and I for one certainly recommend the goats cheese starter, scallops and even the bruschetta was done so well. For mains I had the lamb chops with truffle chips (the best truffle chips I have ever had), family members had pasta and they said it was the best pasta they had ever tasted. A bit sad for my sister's husband who is Italian!!! The wine was delicious too. Thank you Padam we will certainly be back.

My friends and I had a very good experience at Padam restaurant. It was a little quiet, but it was midweek. Service was good and attentive. The food was excellent. I had the ribeye, and it was cooked to perfection. The peppercorn sauce was also excellent. My friends all commented how good their food was. For desert I had the cheesecake and again it was very good. I would be very happy to visit this restaurant again.

We liked the food but it lacked atmosphere and felt flat. The waitress wasn't great with her knowledge on dietary needs /ingredients unfortunately when asked, dangerous if you have an allergy. The steak was genuinely delicious but something about the place just didn't give a good vibe, sad given the food was very tasty and the wine reasonable.

The risotto passion was insipid and very poorly presented, I had to send my order back, first time ever that I've done this. My friend ordered the truffle ravioli which looked really unappetising as there were black blobs of liquidised truffle sloppily thrown over on the top. Service staff were really good but the chefs need some training to cook and present.

Atmosphere, good food and live music made for a pleasant evening. My only criticism is that the wine was poor and overpriced. The mark up on the wine is high even for London standards.

Despite all efforts to kill the high street with soulless high rise flats; restaurants like this keep Maidenhead high street still worth visiting. We recently dined at this fantastic restaurant, as a family of four and the experience was great! . They have a kids menu for younger kids, which our daughter really liked. The food had a delightful blend of flavours and gives a fine dining experience The Albanian red wine was impeccable, complementing the dishes perfectly. The service was exceptional, with the staff being attentive and friendly throughout the evening. The live music added a wonderful touch, featuring popular songs, including nostalgic hits from the 90s. This establishment truly creates a memorable dining atmosphere, and a must-visit for anyone seeking a memorable evening in Maidenhead.

Came here for the first time. Pretty underwhelming restaurant. Menu described as fusion with each dish telling a story and culinary mastery. Had some live music and a decent atmosphere. Had a fairly good risotto to start but came with two prawns. Then proceeded to have a lemon sole..(avoid) This followed by a piece of overcooked chicken with a few green vegetables. Plenty of good restaurants on the same road in Maidenhead so such a shame.

The cocktails , food was amazing, a band was playing in the back ground, we was greeted by a waitress, we was 10 mins early but we was seated straight away, the restaurant is family orientated, I noticed there was a few children around all well behaved , it was a lovely atmosphere, the drinks and food was quick.

First time I've been to Padam and certainly won't be the last. Food was lovely, staff are so friendly and u feel well looked after. This is the perfect place for a special occasion, on Saturdays they have a live singer which os a lovely touch. They even give u free prisecco on arrival on Sat evening. The only thing I can mention is u have to pay separately for a side sauce for steak, which is no problem but at £4,50 is a little to costly. All round a wonderful evening

Came here for my birthday meal and what a delight, food was exquisite, I personally had the steak tagliatelle, absolutely beautiful! House white wine from Albania was so fresh, crisp and so full of flavour, on top of all these qualities, service was fantastic, such a warm welcome and amazing service from start to finish, will for sure be back, can’t thank these guys enough for making my night so special !

This restaurant is lovely for a celebration. I decided to celebrate my birthday at Padam, and due toy group being slightly larger, we were required to submit our orders before the time. Upon arrival, there were individual menus placed for each person, which reflected their meal orders. One of my guests changed their mind about what they wanted to have for their main, and the staff were incredibly accommodating and kind. The food and the atmosphere was incredible and very classy. Highly recommend!

Lovely experience, we had a family meal here on the night before New Year’s Eve and had a great evening. Our servers were very attentive, kind and looked after us. The restaurant is sleek, clean and ambient with lovely design and lighting and the music was cool too. The food was delicious, we especially enjoyed the seafood pastas on offer and the lemon and pesto chicken. Overall we were very pleased and had a great time, would definitely recommend and we’ll be back soon!

Came here with a party of 10 or so and they accommodated us well (we had to pre-order). Great espresso martini, food was good but not blow-your-mind amazing. Service was also good but sometimes difficult to catch their eye for some more tap water. Smart interior but had Christmas songs playing on loop that I found a little irritating.

Great service. Wasn't quite happy with my main, it was resolved without any pushback from the staff and quickly replaced. Complimentary drink was provided as an apology although not required as I was happy with their response. Nice decor, food was lovely. Would definitely go back

I must say, for new restaurant owners I really Indulged in a culinary journey at this delightful restaurant where Mediterranean, French, and Italian flavors harmonize seamlessly. Reccomend the Seabass in Almonds or the Salmon Pave hmmm and the scrumptious Albanian wine elevated the dining experience too! Must try! The attentive service added a delicate touch to order-taking, it was a special birthday and the lovely waitress/ hostess ensured I had a memorable evening. Will defo be back next week!

Great Saturday Lunch - much better than others nearby. A bit quiet and so atmosphere was a little lacking - needs more people to be sitting down. Delicious PilPil prawns and the monkfish was spot on. Nice sized portions and attentive but not intrusive staff....

Has to be 5 stars. I had 30 minutes before I had to meet someone so I popped into Padam. I ordered a small pizza even though I wasn't hungry. The service was spot on by a smiling server and the pizza was amazing. I shall return with family

We went yesterday to visit friend in Maidenhead they took us for dinner in this amazing place. Brilliant service by a smiley, attentive waitress. Food it's amazing. Receive a delicious sorbet on house from chef. Definitely recommend.

Lovely setting and great food, reasonably priced and service was attentive. Situated at the bottom of Maidenhead High Street, not much parking but you can find plenty dotted around. Photos of food included.

Padam This is a new name at Sorano. New menu and new chef . The service was very good plenty of happy staff willing to help. The menu is vert nice and a step upwards in quality. The chef comes out to see how your food is and seems very keen. I had scallops to start although they were served with roe little gritty but very nice,i would like slightly more truffle taste. I then had carbonara, very nice indeed. A definite improvement on the old restaurant. We were also given some delicious sorbet with a macaroon. First ever visit to Sorano, very nice inside good decoration. We went for breakfast. The menu is good , not huge but fair size. We had the full English and a juice and a diet coke (no zero sold 😒) Service was good we sat outside on the hotest day of the year... The food arrived in good time ,we did ask for 2 eggs each ,standard is 1. The eggs were a little over done , lots of tomatoe, a whole one each, to my mind if you serve fresh tomatoes then you need to cook them properly not half raw. Bacon was Italian bacon and very nice indeed, as well as the sausage was very nice as well. Very small portion of beans, and toast was very small rustic bread , and very hard, but tasty, half a pound of butter each i do love butter ,but too much even for me . Overall a nice breakfast, but couple of elements need work, over cooked eggs , hard toast. Will we be back.... of course the bacon was amazing.

Although the food was nice (not very good), the service was excellent, but I was quite disappointed with the ambient and general feelings. Lot's of item from the menu were not available, there was no one else except of us in the restaurant which make it unconfy feeling. It wasn't a great experience worth to recommend if you're looking for an Italian experience, try somewhere else.

3 waitresses and empty restaurant : bread took 20 minutes and water didn’t arrive and then food when we complained finally arrived ! Well done ! Gave us bottled instead of tap water as a sorry !! Hilarious ! Good luck when 4 other Italians on same street !
