Visited for brunch on Sunday and the Turkish breakfast feast was absolutely delicious and plentiful for 4 adults and a 3 year old. Highly recommended. While we were there, there was a small film production shoot going on which was wonderful to observe and my daughter was invited to be a part of since it is her area of study. A unique and pleasant place to to visit and have some lovely food. We will definitely be visiting again for a delicious breakfast/lunch.

So ordered a breakfast takeaway for 2 and was very disappointed with the amount that should have been for 2 people. 1 slice of halloumi 1 slice of feta 1 slice of cheddar to share as well as 1 slice of tomato and cucumber each. On top of this they forgot our poached eggs and when we requested a refund off Deliveroo they refunded us to the amount of 80p even though an individual portion of egg is £1.35 !! Besides this the food quality was acceptable and taste was fine however we will not be ordering from here again which is a shame because I love a Turkish breakfast and this is the worst I’ve ever had and i I’ve had quite a few…

I was so excited to go to Our Kitchen for breakfast as it was highly rated and I love Turkish food. On a positive note the coffee was great and the staff were nice. On a negative note the food was really highly disappointing. I’m assuming that this is a one off since all the other reviews are so positive. The fried Turkish eggs with sausage looked measly and dry. I expected Cilbir but alas ‘twas not meant to be. I ordered olives, hummus halloumi and pide for my daughter and only the pide for my meal came, small pieces like free bread you get before a meal. Most of the bread was so hard it was inedible. I showed the waitress and she was apologetic and brought more, obviously still stale but warmed up so you would eat it before it was noticeable. The olives smelt sour and some of the black ones had a faint white coating from fermenting so we did not eat them. We have spent all of last night and today with runny stomachs so needless to say we will NOT be going back. Very annoyed to have spent £16 on food that did not taste great and made me sick.

Fresh food, large jacket potatoes and loads of filling. Panini slightly on the small side. Lots of different varieties of drinks, and I love the fact it’s so different. There are many things on the menu that I have never heard of, but SO want to try. The menemen will be next! I love how friendly and attentive the staff are also.

I first went to Our Kitchen with a few friends for a lunch meet up. We’re so glad we tried it as not only is the food unreal but the service is spot on and you’re made to feel so welcome! We had a few dishes between us in a sharing style which the staff were really good at advising us (we’d never really tried Turkish food before), but with their advice we had the perfect portion sizes. The Menemem dish is so nice I’d highly recommend trying that! I love that they also serve regular English dishes aswell so if you just fancy an omelette or you have a fussy friend you can all be satisfied. Okay so the best bit is getting to the deserts/sweets. Honestly I can’t tell you my favourite but I’ll give you a couple of my top picks... Biscoff Acma, Chocolate brownies and any of the big cakes at the front that you can have a slice of!! Before I had even tried Our Kitchen for the first time I knew the cakes would be my favourite part as the chef there is Grace who has her own cake business too. I always hire to make my birthday and special occasion cakes. She’s so good and I only trust her with it as she always caters to my families allergies. Even if I’m out with the dog I’ll always pop in to grab a quick takeaway coffee and a couple of acmas to take home, and it’s mine and my friends new meet up spot! Can’t wait to next visit!

During the Lockdown Grace and the team were determined to keep going with their business. Having been there previously for brunch, I had no hesitation with their mother’s day offer. It was afternoon tea, sandwiches, and homemade scones. They were delivered on time and were absolutely delicious. Can’t wait for Our Kitchen to re open.

Love coming to this wonderful cafe in Elmers End. If you've never had menemen for breakfast, then try it - delicious dish made of eggs. And the homemade Turkish croissants are super. Staff are so friendly, and the atmosphere is really nice.

Absolutely LOVE this place! Food is amazing, especially the Menemen, and Simits. The sourdough bread is also really good with lots of choice of toppings. The cakes and pastries are all sooo tasty, and love that they also do ice coffee! The staff are lovely and friendly. Will definitely be going back again, my new favourite Brunch place.

Visited here for the first time and found the overall experience to be a very pleasant one. The venue was warm, with nice decor which made it welcoming with a nice homely feel, all adding to the relaxed atmosphere. Staff were all very polite and helpful. The menu was varied with a good choice to cater for all tastes and all reasonably priced. The cakes and bread are all homemade and looked delicious. I met here with a friend and enjoyed a lovely cup of black coffee accompanied with a homemade mince pie - delicious. After my meeting, I then decided to stay on my own for lunch which consisted of an authentic cup of Turkish tea and an authentic dish of Menemen (scrambled eggs, peppers, tomatoes, onions and the addition of feta cheese served on a hot plate with homemade Pide bread) - all of this was absolutely lovely too. I will certainly be returning here again very soon and with my Partner to enjoy more of what this lovely new establishment has to offer and would highly recommend anyone wanting nice, homely food cooked to an excellent standard with an authentic Turkish twist - then this is the place.

Went in here for lunch and ordered hot drinks and egg with avocado on toast. What was unknown was that their was only 1 person in the kitchen who was unable to handle more than 1 order simultaneously. To wait 45 minutes for such a simple basic snack is just poor on every level, I would not have minded so much if we had been made aware of this when we ordered, but when their was no sign of our food after 25 minutes I asked and was told that the big group (4 people) were having their order made 1st. If you cannot afford more than 1 person in the kitchen, at least employ someone who is capable of having more than 1 order on the go at the same time, it's really not that difficult.

I love this place and have been coming since it opened but the last few times I’ve been, I’ve had to wait around 15 mins for a takeaway coffee. Staff are getting stressed and flustered, mixing up orders and on two occasions they simply stopped taking orders because they’d got so behind (but didn’t explain this to the waiting customers). I’m sure they are trying their best but it’s awful to see customers walking out. Such a shame as I really want to continue to enjoy coming here, and the coffee is great! I like supporting local businesses and want to see them thrive. Not sure what the problem is - maybe the kitchen is too small to cope with all the food orders or perhaps the staff need dedicated roles eg. One person making all the coffee. Maybe the menu is too diverse for that little kitchen? It would help too if a staff member perhaps explained that there would be a long wait due to it being particularly busy, and then we could decide whether to leave the queue. I’m putting this review on here in the hope that the owners will see it and make some changes. I really hope it improves.

The coffee and cakes here are sensational. I'm serious about coffee; it is an obsession. I source my own green coffee beans, roast them and work hard to be a good barista. Hence I am always dissatisfied with coffee 'out'. I fell upon this place while waiting to pick-up my wife from the hospital yesterday. It is the best prepared coffee I've had out in recent years. The one that came close cost £8.50 from a Michelin star restaurant. The only down side is that I need a better excuse to go back! The service was great too. Keep-up the great work.

I stopped in for lunch and had the chicken escalope with fries and my partner had the spaghetti bolognaise. It was a delicious meal with a home cooked feel at a very reasonable price! The lady who served us was very friendly, chatty and absolutely hilarious. I will be going back!
