Orme & Devine Bakery in Stafford

Ordered a roll to be made up. Lady had a phlegmy cough, didn’t wear gloves and proceeded to wipe her nose on the back of her hand before putting the ham on my roll…..come on please. I couldn’t eat it, you’ll find it in the bin outside

Brownies are fantastic, very dense in the middle and chocolately. Good Victoria sponge - jam ratio could be slightly better though.

Visited today, waited 20 minutes to be served, not complaining about this as customers before me were having sandwiches made, when it came my turn to be served a lady came in and was obviously known to the staff as she was greeted by name (not got a problem with that) but despite the gentleman next to me pointing out that I was next I was completely ignored and the other lady was served. At this point I walked out not how customers should be treated if you want them to return, which I won't be doing.

Booked this bakery to make me up a picnic to take out with family to celebrate my 60th birthday on Saturday. It was absolutely amazing - beautiful platter of sandwiches with all the lovely breads they do, a platter of savouries - quiche sausage rolls etc all fresh and beautifully presented and a box of cakes. The whole thing was incredible value and so lovely I am never making up picnic food again - I shall just ask this lovely bakery to do it.

We have been using this bakery for many months however we will not be returning following the rude service experienced by my daughter. The female, grey haired assistant repeatedly belittled my daughter by being unhelpful and rolled her eyes and tutted as she painstakingly pointed out the difference between a 'roll' and a 'baguette'. Uncalled for and knocked my daughters confidence further during these strange times.

This bakery is lovely with lots of nice cakes and sandwiches. Everyone serving is so friendly. I have been coming for a long time and long will my trips continue.

A great bakery shop with a superb range of savouries, eateries and cakes. The cooked breakfasts and light snacks are home cooked and nicely presented

So miserable, makes you feel like an inconvenience visting this shop. Whilst the food is generally nice when asking for a Tuna salad sandwich the only salad was tomato and cucumber? Expensive too!

Popped in for breakfast on a rare child-free day post school run and met a friend. This is a small cafe with only a small amount of seating. Oatcakes were delicious (but then Foley’s always are!) Cake is amazing and coffee is lovely. Very good value for money and friendly staff. Definitely worth a visit.

It's ok here, but service is not often with a smile. I used to buy my loaves of white bread from here, but don't anymore as they often sell out.

For such a small place there is a lot of choice both sweet and savoury. The owner is most welcoming.

The cakes in here are fantastic, every time I end up leaving with 2 more than I went in for because I can't decide between them. Please never change!

very expensive bakery takeaway sandwich s such has bacon ,,bacon very hard and dry,sausage tasteless all cooked sandwich s need more filling.

Good service, good food good prices bakery food, pies sandwiches and teas coffees. Served with a smile. It's a place we pop into for that quick lunch/brunch on the go

Very clean bakery and coffee shop, super staff, wonderful fresh savoury bakes and really good cakes and bread.

We go here most dinner times or for a bacon breakfast and the staff are always really friendly and there to help. The food range is good and very competitively priced. Their sausages are delicious!

i was working around the corner,and although I've worked around here a lot i had never noticed it before.Normally i would go Walton chip shop,but it was a warm day and fancied cold.I Had fresh sandwiches and scones, Very Nice

Interesting range of cakes which are very good. Good range of pasties, pizzas and sandwiches. The only thing that lets it down is the efficient but unfriendly staff; however don't let that put you off from visiting, although don't expect service with a smile!!
