Great place to get Chinese from lovley food also they give you alot of food usually you don't finish it all unless you are starving

Can't rate customer service as ordered through website, and I was quite disappointed. Never been here before and wanted a Chinese more local but everything just tasted bland compared to other Chineses in the area, rice was definitely overcooked and had two different rice dishes and it was like cous cous texture.

We ordered Chilli beef, chicken balls, rice, and sweet and sour sauce to be delivered. When the food arrived, there was no chilli added to the beef, which was bland. The sweet and sour sauce looked like coloured water, and had absolutely no taste. The chicken balls and rice were acceptable, but all in all it was not a pleasant experience. Needless to say, we will not be ordering from this establishment again.

Honestly, this was amazing! It’s the second time we’ve had it and I had to make sure it was really good by ordering a second time! I admit I’m a super picky American, food has to be good, and my husband is picky too after having spent his youth next door to the world’s greatest Chinese (I had it once). We must’ve tried at LEAST ten if not a dozen Chineses all around Bexhill and Hastings (think I reviewed a couple). We are SO HAPPY to have found our favourite local Chinese! Everything has flavour! Everything is tasty! Nothing is greasy. The salt and pepper prawns are absolutely delicious. The fried rice is moist and flavourful. The prawn balls are delicious and not fried in old stale oil! My husband absolutely loved his special fried rice. He said the curry sauce was the best ever! I also had red Thai chicken and it was delicious. They gave us free spring rolls that had a lovely ginger taste to them. We got so tired of wasting money on Chinese food places that got great ratings and then were terrible! (I don’t understand how people can have such, um, different taste?!) Anyway, this is our new go-to Chinese and we are done wasting money on bad Chinese takeaways! Yay! :))

My husband took our grandson home to Sidley so we ordered some Chinese to pick up on his way home to Battle. The food was delicious so much of it and priced very fairly. I would recommend the Oriental kitchen to anybody who likes a really good Chinese.

Chinese takeaway. Food is fresh and tasty, Chicken chow mien is our favourite. Reasonably priced but there are cheaper, but not many as good quality or taste

Order was ready on time, it was just perfect. The spicy dishes were spicy, the non spicy dishes were not and the order was just as expected. this is my second order and will be ordering again.

Last night I had ordered the salt and pepper squid, I have never in my life felt so unwell. Fever, nausea, stomach cramps all day. That’s all I ate yesterday never again

Great food, friendly guy. Even gave me a great tip to keep a succulent plant healthy by giving it some starch water from rice.

Food was amazing and still very hot when delivered, the only problem we had, was the person at the other end of the phone, he was very rude and rushed us through the order, which is probably why it was slightly wrong when it arrived, if it wasn’t for him this review would of easily been 5 stars.

We ordered a meal tonight for first time at this takeaway. I prefer ordering online, paying and schedule time to suit me. It was easy to do, and arrived within ten mins of time selected. The meal was exceptional, the spring rolls crispy and delicious, all food was hot and well presented. The chicken balls were amazing, and chowmein had plenty of chicken, the other dishes were delicious, we were very pleased, and won't hesitate to use Oriental Kitchen again.

The foods always good, delivery times are amazing. Staff are friendly and polite, whats not to like. Sometimes from order to doorstep in under 15 mins super efficient and super tasty..

If I could give then no stars I would. They were quite rude on the phone, they hung up while I was still talking. The chicken balls were over cooked on the outside and under cooked inside, the chicken fried rice was soggy not at all what it should have tasted like. The chicken curry tasted horrible. I had added up how much I owed them before they arrived but they charged me a little more thinking I had added it up wrong I paid then this morning I double checked the amount and they had over charged me, it may have only been a couple of pound but that's not the point. Don't use this place it's not worth it.

Orderd last night and got the house special noodles witch include prawns Just want to say i got 1 prawn in the hole dish!!!!!!! food was absolutely horrible !!!!!! we still have all the food and ended up ordering from bexhill fried chicken insted so dont take my word for it but we pay all this money for Chinese food and all we get is what we dident order or its filled with pure oil and its not something you want to order for your hole family you will be very disappointed about it tonight i will be takeing all my food back yo make my point clear to them

Ordered a takeaway from here and specifically asked for all of the dishes to be vegan through Just Eat.Was pleased to see that they hadn’t used fish crumbles on the seaweed but were disgusted to open a dish of chicken wings which we didn’t order. This isn’t the first time they have done this but it will be the last time we order from them. My partner had a green Thai curry which made him violently sick followed by diarrhoea. Very disappointed.

Spent over £20 and didn't even get prawn crackers. I phoned up to complain as every other Chinese always includes prawn crackers. We then find our one of the dishes was also wrong. They told me it's because we didn't collect. Even though they charged £1 for delivery and we tip them too.

Can't fault the food, it wasn't amazing but it was better then a typical Chinese and was flavoured using skill and knowledge, not just dowsed in salty flavourings like a lot of places do. If the standard is of this calibre then I would definitely order again and the freebies made it a pretty decent deal.

Quality was excellent, food took longer than specified to arrive however it was on a rugby World Cup game night and a Saturday so I'm guessing this added to an already busy night for them. Also didn't get the chicken wings or bottle of Coke specified for orders over £25 only got prawn crackers with a £40+ order so was a little disappointed.

we did ask for our food to be labeled as my husband is highly allergic to eggs and i was having fried rice. but they didn't do this and we asked for no peppers in our sweet and sour but we requested extra onion, so in both dishes we got 3 tiny bits of onion. so not happy.

Food was nice, but it took over 2 hours to deliver, even though the takeaway is less than 5 mins from our house, I had to ring up after 2 hours of waiting to enquire what was the problem with our delivery, to be ( I feel a little fobbed off ) given excuses. It kind of ruined a nice night in as I didn't really want to eat that much at nearly 11 pm.

The food was nothing to write home about. The crispy shredded beef was not "hot" as the menu states and tasted burnt. The rest of the food was just bland and for nearly £30 I expected more. There are better Chineses in Bexhill.

I ordered it for 7:45 for when I got home from work. It arrived at 7 o'clock and they rang me constantly asking me where I was. I explained I won't be home until the agreed time and they just sighed and talked as if I had let them down. I rang them when I eventually got home and they said they will get it to me when they can, I imagine my food was just sitting there getting cold. I ordered quarter duck, egg fried rice and sweet and sour chicken balls. They eventually came but didn't deliver the plum sauce for the duck or the chicken balls. I rang them again and they said they will drop the chicken balls later. They came cold as anything and the delivery driver was angry I took time to answer the door. It's a shame because they are normally very good.

Order was nor processed when placed. Rang to find out where food was after 90 mins and they hadn't started cooking it due to it not being sent to the kitchen. Delivery driver then went to wrong road first. 2 hours to get food!

Had quarter of crispy duck for starters. There was only enough meat for 4 pancakes the rest fat and skin. Very disappointed. Curry was nice.

I requested no mushrooms but they were included in my vegetable rice. Luckily I'm not allergic! Over an hour for delivery. No free prawn crackers but that was the least of it.

Food was ok, no more. Chicken curry bland, egg fried rice a little dry as were the ribs. Noodles OK, beef ok and starters good.

We ordered our food at 7.40 and we were told that our food would be delivered at 8.20. After phoning twice we finally received our food at 9.45! At this point, however nice the food was it was lost on us we ate because we were hungry and the long time waiting meant that we couldn't spend the evening eating, going back at later points. Lots of this meal was wasted! The take-away did offer us free wings and fortune cookies. Only got the wings. I think had it been a weekend would could understand the delay, however being a Wednesday night we couldn't really understand such a delay!!! Feel really let down by this service.
