The food was horrible. Bland rice and cheap preformed meat. Tasteless garbage sadly.

Staying in caravan park at Camber sands. Ordered take away for 10 people, every dish was hot and liked by all ,very good standard a meal that will not be forgotten thanks, see you next time we return ☺️

Please be aware this NOT Chinese or Asian food at all. I ordered Chinese spicy beef but it didn't have any beef or meat at all, only got one plate of fried starch😅And tasted exactly same with fired chips😂 So if you want sth like fried fish and chips this is good. But if want real Chinese or Asian food plz DO NOT eat here :(

Don’t expect authentic Cantonese, but the food here is fresh, tasteful and well cooked. Nothing we ordered was over salted or tasted enhanced. Every dish - prawns, chop suey, egg fried rice, chicken - was incredibly good. We took a risk with the ‘orange chicken’ but we loved it. Not too sweet, not too sticky- just perfect. And the service was wonderful too - thank you!!!

We were staying on site at the nearby Camber Sands Park Dene. The on site chinese was closed and we really fancied one! We looked up local Chinese and found this one came highly recommended. We weren't disappointed! The food was lovely, not oily or overly salty like some reviews say. We went to pick food up and they forgot one item but phoned us almost immediately and were very apologetic so cannot fault them. Quality service, quick and tasty. Highly recommend! £68 for 7 of us wasn't bad at all.

Treated myself and daughter to a Chinese. Wanted it from Happy House, but they weren't answering the phone, so assumed they were shut, so had to get here instead. Had it delivered. As soon as I opened the bag, I could smell what I'm assuming was cigarette smoke and our food tasted smokey too. After I ate I had to use mouthwash to get rid of the taste. Shame because it would've been OK without that. It was very expensive for what we had. Most disappointing and would definitely go to happy house next time.

Just had set meal for 4 delivered to camber sands to top off our holiday and can't recommend this restaurant enough, everything was excellent no problem ordering or with delivery.

After reading the reviews I decided to risk it and give it a go, and it was really good!

Have come to camber for a few days, found this Chinese on line, had a home delivery, wonderful service did not have to wait long for delivery food very good and plenty of it. Would recommend.

usually love this place, order loads of times with no issues but unfortunately we received raw chicken balls, so my partner called up to ask if we could have a new bag sent out as i am heavily pregnant and did not want to eat undercooked chicken! guy on the phone was lovely but the owner was rude and decided to ring us back to tell us that her chicken balls are always cooked and the further decided to hang up the phone. we found that extremely rude and irresponsible! no longer will be ordering from here as it was such an unpleasant and unnecessary response from the owner! take responsibility for your actions as an owner instead of blaming your customers for your faults!

Have had a few takeaways from Oriental Delight now. Every time the food has been delicious and hot, with great service too. Highly recommended!

Never spoken to anyone with such a short fuse before. His computer wasn’t working and finding my address was too much for his brain to comprehend, so instead of asking simple questions about where I lived decided to shout and throw his toys out of his pram before hanging up to conclude the most bizarre phone call I’ve ever had. Would go to other options in the area as definitely more people deserved of your time and money

Wonderful and excellent, friendly service. My mother is gluten free and vegetarian and they accommodated very nicely (stir fry veg with tofu). We had special curry/ egg fried rice/ Singapore noodles which were excellent.

I love this Chinese as I especially love the Malaysian chicken curry as I don’t like boiled chicken much. Always great food but maybe a little too salty.

Ordered family meal for our nans gold wedding anniversary wrong food came didn't send the right food when we rang was kept while they as all arguing and shouting at each other was lied to and told they would deliver it we waited 40 minutes and it never turned up to ring them again and be shouted out saying we wasn't getting a refund for the bits we didn't get and wasn't getting the food either now wasted 100 pound and they messed our special night up should be ashamed of themselves

We ordered over £100's worth of food for a very special occasion, waited over an hour for delivery and when it was finally delivered half the order was missing and the other half was completely wrong. When we rang we was called liars and told they got our order right (witch they didn't), they then said they would replace the missing dishes. 40 minutes later we was still waiting so we rang and was told we would have to wait another 40 minutes. We then said that was no good becasue the rest of the food was cold, we asked for a refund and was told they couldn't refund us at all. Not even for the messed up dishes so £100 wasted and a lot of hassle and phone calls with no success. The customer service is terrible. Stay clear and go to the happy house!

I have had a caravan in the area for over 10 years and we regularly have delivery to our site from Oriental Delight. Family and friends that have stayed with us say it is the best chinese they have had. The ribs are the best I have had. I have not had a bad meal from here. They are honest about delivery time and call if going to be longer. Driver calls enroute and we meet them to collect. Food is always steaming hot. I will be ordering again this weekend.

Ordered a take away,and I can honestly say this is the worst take away,I ever had,family of 11,so we all had different dishes, And they all had not taste, at all,so look else where, do not go !!!!!

Food average but waiting time totally unacceptable. Order placed by 'phone at 6 pm for collection at seven. Arrived at seven, food finally ready at eight. Phone rang constantly as we waited, unanswered by staff sitting next to it. Customers arriving and being told orders might take thirty minutes. Kitchen seemed focussed on orders for delivery. Won't be going back!

Amazing food. Everyone enjoyed their food. Was a small trip from where we where staying at camber sands, but a quick and efficient phone call placed an order. There is a small shopping car park just round the corner that offers what they call a 'little shop' and is free for under 30 minutes. Ideal for stopping there, walk across road and up slightly to the Oriental express to pick up your food. And so tasty it was too, good selection. Only dropped a single mark as the prices where higher than expected, and by comparison to other Chinese takeaways we visited this year.

We ordered a Chinese takeaway whilst staying at the Winchelsea Sands caravan park. It was recommended to us by the staff there. We phoned to order and were told that there would be a wait of an hour or more which was fine for us. The food was delivered to the park reception snd the driver phoned to say when he was there. We paid cash. It worked very well. The food was tasty and hot. The portion sizes were generous. They gave us prawn crackers and fortune cookies which was a nice touch. Highly recommended.

Best takeaway that I've had in ages, and they do chicken and cashew nuts in yellow bean sauce which many Chinese takeaways seem to have stopped doing. They delivered to the holiday park as well!

It was a last minute decision to have a take away and what a great decision. The food was excellent - one of the best Chinese take away meals we've had for ages. We will definitely buy from here again.

I was a bit sceptical after reading some of the reviews, but I was pleasantly surprised. Food was delicious and there was a good amount, not to greasy either. Service was polite and quick. I will be definitely ordering from here again!

Ordered bbq ribs in sauce, the sauce wasn’t even bbq! More like sweet and sour sauce mixed with fat from the meat! Beef with mushrooms with huge chunks of garlic in it to the point you couldn’t taste nout else! Chicken and sweetcorn soup filled with fatty pieces, reminds me of what’s left on a soggy roast chicken that you give to the dog! Was told that the online menu that comes up on Google isn’t actually correct because they have never been online and now their prices have gone up, as a family of 4 we all would’ve rather a tin of soup! £60 down the drain! Missed off 3 of our soups to begin with to then be told that is our fault because he only heard me say one when other people in the room clearly heard me say 4! Very very rude man, awful customer service to match their awful food! Even to be sworn at when querying the missing soup! When we originally rung to order I questioned if they were delivering to my area, to be told ‘where’s that’ a hundred times, after me answering trying to be specific every time, wondering what answer he was looking for, for me to then offer my postcode for him to say ‘no I don’t want that’ to then ask me for my postcode 2 minutes later?! And when I give my postcode he says ‘well that wasn’t hard to do WAS it!’ And no estimated delivery time, I can appreciate they were busy but we ended up waiting well over an hour and a half! Ordered duck in which it was dry as anything, taken off the bone but left the bone in the box? All sauces had been watered down to the point it shouldn’t even be called sauce! Onions to go with the duck had sweated so much I can still smell them in my house an hour later! Absolutely disgusted. The spring rolls were soggy and squashed. Don’t know how this place can stay open. Avoid at all costs unless you want to be disappointed!

Long wait times for gungy, minging food. But.... the delivery drivers are very friendly. This used to be fair take-away, not great but not terrible either. Not sure what's happened but the quality of the food has dived. A few other people have highlighted that the wait times for delivery are long, they are due to the popularity of the place and that they attempt to cover delivery to a large area, due to this you can pretty much guarantee that your food will not take a direct route and will be even more tepid and gungy by the time you get it. When you get it don't be surprised to either be the wrong order, dishes missing or dishes mixed up with something completely different. Not a great experience and you might get lucky, but I'm sure there are even worse takeaways.

Not being from the area, and staying in my nans caravan in Rye harbour we were dubious about trying. However, for a friday night it took around an hour. Reasonable! They delivered to the gate of the park which was fab. The food was lovely....

Old style Chinese shop ...basic food ..nothing special ..im sure there's a much better one but as a visitor to this beautiful quaint town who was starving it did its job ..but im a chef and that to me who cooks ...it got 2 stars for trying ..please learn better chinese cuisine and learn to smile 😃

Great takeaway. The owner let us sit and eat our food inside during the annual Eye bonfire because it was raining and there was nowhere to go. Obviously they aren't setup to be a sit in restaurant but the owner was great and made it work. Would definitely recommend as the food was also brilliant

I’ve been coming to camber sands for the past 5 years at least 4 times a year, and without fail we’ll order Chinese from this place, one of the best Chinese’s I’ve had in years! The best in the town of rye and camber!.. even...

Seems a bit hit and miss. Very busy tonight and not a good as I've had before. Very greasy. Rice clumpy.

Took over an hour to arrive. Then missing item. They refused to rectify it. Prawn curry with mainly mushrooms! Gloopy sauce. 5 ribs in a meal for 3 ?? Absolutely foul. Look elsewhere. Horrendous waste of money.

Picked up a menu whilst visiting Rye. We ordered our food and asked for it to be ready in 20 mins. Travelled 4 miles from our Holiday Park and it was ready as promised on arrival. We all agreed this was the very best takeaway...
