Items not ready. Even when they had said order was ready to collect, disappointed that they felt the need to say it was ready when clearly wasn’t. Stood in takeaway for an extra 15 minutes before it was ready. Food quality is good for the price.

They delivered in the middle of a red westher warning so a bit late is not a problem!!!

Food arrived cold with items missing called restaurant they agreed to send missing items. Items arrived 40 minutes later cold also. the curry sauce was like jelly. By the time we had all items they were all freezing cold

I ordered Beef Chow Main but got Prawn Chow Main, otherwise food was good as was the service.

Noddles and gyoza are always very testy but lately my favourite dish, sweet and sour Cantonese chicken, is disappointing; more than half of the portion is onions , no vegetables and no pineapple which is the main reason why I get the Cantonese style. Hope this changes as it was, so far, my favourite Chinese .

My favourite Chinese takeaway restaurant. The salt and chili tofu is delicious and contains a lot of tofu! Other highlights are the range of coconut and satay dishes and the sweet and sour prawn balls. Food arrives hot and the delivery driver is always polite and cheerful.

the food was good, however they made mistake while preparing order. i asked for chicken they gave me.prawns and pork😅

First time I have ordered from the Oriental Delight and it won’t be the last. Food was excellent ! Really good size portions and was delivered really fast. Very impressed and would definitely recommend.

Exactly what you hope for from a local Chinese takeaway. Great value, tasty (we always get the sweet & sour chicken and prawn chow mein, and are never disappointed), usually arrives really quickly (while sometimes it’s here in 15min, at busy times like Friday or Saturday evenings it can sometimes take a while longer like 30–45, but that’s understandable), good portion sizes, and always comes with free prawn crackers. We’ve tried nearly every Chinese takeaway in the area, and while there are some others whose food might be a little nicer, it costs nearly twice as much. This place is our regular, because for the price it can’t be beat.

Order took 2 hours to arrive. Tried calling but it was impossible to get through. Once we did get through two hours later they said the order was conveniently 10 minutes away despite it being obvious they had not even started the order. Completely impossible to get updates on orders and a complete disregard for customers trying to get in touch. once it eventually did come after 2 hours the chips were freezing cold and it was missing the fried rice. not worth the wait

Food is generally pretty good. Shredded chilli beef is really tasty as it the salt and chilli items. The prawn toast though is terrible and is essentially fried bread with no prawns. Avoid that.

Food was delicious as always, our go to Chinese. Just ran late today with it being New Years day

Food was great, delivery earlier than advised. ribs were fantastic, however Lukewarm as was the rice, however to be expected on hogmanay. Chicken Szechuan (THAT I ORDERED) was very nippy due to no fault of the take away, however the extra rice I added made it much more manageable. Thanks again guys. Will definitely order again.

This place never misses. Food is so fresh and tasty. The chilli sauce is tangy and great (and not super sweet like other places). I don’t go anywhere else now.

Hopefully this is a constructive review and private. The deep fried prawns were awful, tasted like this was the second or third time fried as they were so dry and crunchy. Chicken was a little better but not much. I really wanted to like them as I used to get them from rice bowl on Easter road and wanted to try something different. Sorry, quality of food will mean I won’t be back but I hope you can act on the feedback as constructive

I stopped off here for a takeaway whilst on a stopover in Leith. I ordered Special Chow Mein, curry sauce and chips. Whilst the food was ok the Chow Mein portion was small and just noodles with some small pieces of chopped ham, chicken and three small prawns. I certainly wouldn’t recommend this place as I think it just relies on passing trade in the area

Fresh, delicious food. We had all vegetarian options that were really generous potions. Delivery time was quick.

Hands down the best Chinese I have ever had. Will never order from another Chinese been ordering from Oriental Delight for years and never ever had an issue. Food is absolutely delicious.

Cuando pasó ese tiempo, más 25 minutos, llamé al restaurante para que me dijeran que mi pedido estaba ‘acaba de terminar de cocinarse’ y que serían otros 15-20 minutos. Sin embargo, apareció entre 5 y 10 minutos después. Especulo que había estado listo, olvidado y recalentado apresuradamente cuando llamé. Los entrantes eran gomosos y carentes de sabor. La red es insípida. Los chips fríos. Desperdicio total de dinero y en su mayoría se fue a la papelera.

Food was delivered early and well packed very hot :) soup was good although chicken extremely sweet , lemon and sour chicken I think chef might overdose sugar as I wasn’t able to eat it , overall ok but pls don’t add so much sugar to food I’m a pastry chef for over 25 years and even my cakes aren’t so sweet as this chicken was , tanks

The shredded beef and chilli sauce had no sauce at all and was so dry, worst I have ever had.

Found something strange looking in the rice. The chips were awful, shocked that they even served them. Everything else ordered was poor, wont be ordering again.

Been ordering from here for a while now and the quality was excellent however this time it was very poor.

This evening I ordered their crispy duck and sweet and sour pork among other menu items. The food hit the spot and was one of the best I have had in the area. Customer service was excellent even in the late evening and super quick. I definitely recommend as a late night meal. 10/10.

Good quality, tasty food, and nice and hot when it arrived, which was a nice surprise. I was warned delivery tracking wouldn't be available,but I got no notification that foodwas being prepped, so uncertain what was happening with my order.

Usually great service but unfortunately the food we received was hard and inedible. There were no chillis or onions on the salt and chilli chips and everything felt like had been recooked from the night before

Absolutely terrible takeaway Chips are grim and always forgetting items. Forgot my curry sauce today and then had the cheek to ask me if I wanted it now or later ? My meal be cold by time it arrives. Avoid this takeaway at all costs

chips were the worst chips I've actually ever had and also forgot my Curry sauce and by time the redelivered , my chips and rice were cold. curry was awful too . never buying from here ever again. even had the cheek to ask if I wanted my curry sauce delivered now or later. ridiculous service and terrible food

Singapore fried rice was nearly all rice and hardly any chicken, prawns or char sui. I was very disappointed as I've been a customer for a long time and hope that counts for something.

Staff very friendly, chicken fried rice not bad better if the chicken was of higher quality for the price you pay, chicken balls in batter looked like they had been re-heated in old oil to the extent that the outer batter was dark burnt orange in colour not light and fluffy and the corners of the chicken inside we're way over cooked due what I can be 100% sure these balls we're re-heated not pleasant at all thumbs down from me no quality control sadly (the seagulls enjoyed them though and the chicken from the fried rice)
