Jollibee in Edinburgh, City of

The driver told me he could not deliver the order as his bike was broke. he then also told me he could not cancel the order because it would affect his earnings. 40 minutes later, after I had reordered from somewhere else, he showed up in a car with another driver and acted like the whole chat did not happen. Also, they marked it as delivered even though it was refused due to the above. crazy

It was fab, we had a big order and it was perfect.

A friendly well run jollibee, that is deservedly busy . Plenty of room, ideally needs an upstairs toilet that's not just a disabled one. Otherwise the best jollibee we have visited.

I walked into a welcoming atmosphere with bright colours and a large menu to cater to many. That being said I was excited to order and chose the tender combo, when I walked in, it was not that busy there were about 3 or 4 orders in queue. As I placed my order I was informed it might take 10 minutes or so to get the tenders which I was fine with. Quality takes time. However 10 minutes went by and there was no sign of my order. Obviously I was okay if it took a bit longer. Then another 10 minutes passed and then another 10 minutes. Finally after 30 minutes of waiting I received the food. It's understandable that orders could've been coming in quicker causing things to slow down but to my knowledge Jollibee is fast food and nothing about it was fast. The food was decent but honestly not worth the 30 minutes.

The food was good but not worth the hype, the prices are a bit high with 1 piece of fried chicken being £3. I would definitely recommend to at least try.

First time visiting as we were recommended this place for halal food. Food was okay however service was very slow. They forgot couple of items for our order. We had to request a couple of times for our missed items. Place decor was okay.

I understand that the restaurant cannot control collection and delivery time, but the staff can make sure that whats ordered are whats in the basket. Jollibee food is great when its cooked with care and love and also when the right items are in the bag.

not good, we ordered delivery and waited for more than half an hour. When the order was about to be delivered already, it was suddenly cancelled.

Came here for food on Sunday night and was made to wait ages on our number being called out, numbers after ours was called but we were still waiting , the staff then had a laugh when the realised an order had been “sat there for ages” in there own words and giggled while passing us the bag of food , the next day the pair of us have ended up very ill and we both ate the same thing Sad to see this happening as I do love this restaurant just silly to have little things ruin it like staff not taking jobs seriously.

That was a pretty rough experience. The chicken strips were dry, the piece of chicken (chickenjoy?) was juicy but mostly bone, the burger was unimpressive and the wrap was just yet more of the dry chicken tenders. Good fries though.

The food is fine, same price like in London. However, it takes us almost 30 minutes to receive our order so you cant compare that in Jollibee in Manila. Also, the area is not that clean and has limited seats

Took a while to be delivered, then when the courier finally left the restaurant and delivered it to me the food was stone cold. Quite disappointing.

I’ve been to their branches in London, Leicester and Liverpool but this one in Edinburgh has the slowest crew! We were there on 17/12/2024 and we spent more than 20 minutes to collect our order despite having less than 7 customers. We can clearly see one colored guy and one asian guy chatting.

Only got half my order food was cold

When in shop there show tv ad big burgers then I order burgers it is was small burgers and £11.99 with meal deal too expensive than any other large burger

Very dangerous ! The chicken in the burger was wrong in so many ways. How could you put chicken skin 😫? Actually there was more skin than chicken and the small piece of chicken was not cooked , it was raw in the middle . People could end up in hospitals like this . I ended up sick after the first bite. Again that's dangerous.

Sadly my food never arrived despite saying it had. I realise this isn’t Jollibee fault but the drivers. Still annoying though.

I was excited to try Jollibee food for the first time. I'm not from Edinburgh and this place was the closest halal place I could find. When I got to my hotel 20 mins later, I saw that my whole order was wrong. I ordered and paid for two meals and even with the wrong items it didn't make up a single whole meal. The lady also kept the receipt which makes it worse because I can't even go back to complain as I know they'll probably say.. 'no receipt' Disappointed!!

I love Jollibe, the food is always tasty and the gravy and chips are the best I ever have but they lose one star for quality as they keep putting really cold cans in with the hot food which means that if you do not live near the food cools fairly quickly. though do not let this deter you though as even cold it is not that bad, just don't forget to dip your chicken burger in the gravy, messy but divine

I always prefer Jollibee among others but the service is quite poor from which i have minimize to go there. Today after a long time i went there I was standing near the till to place an order for about 4 5 minutes but no one even approached me, no one asked me if i was standing to collect my order or to place an order. So that's why i left without placing any order.

Came here yesterday made quite a large order, and today all of us have stomach cramps and both my kids sent home from school with Diarrhoea. Awful

All the gravy in my order went everywhere and made a mess on my food. I didnt have much left of gravy to have especially when I payed for 4 gravies and was left with only 1 to have.

So um, I ordered solo meal 1, but what I have here is obviously not a solo meal, I have a burger, a hotdog, three fries, 6 pieces of spicy chicken and no drinks. Not that I’m complaining since what I have is certainly more expensive than what I ordered but this is still an unexpected change

Not the same Jollibee as the Philippines, Asia and Guam. I understand that you have to adjust the menu and flavors slightly for the local population, but the chicken is not juicy like every other Jollibee I've visited. The gravy is absolutely gross. It was not thick and was very watery and just tasted like brown chicken water. I did appreciate that the chicken here was more spicy, but could not enjoy it as much as it was dry and the gravy was gross. This location does not do justice to this great fast food chain and I would recommend you skip here and save your calories for another place and that's coming from someone who loves to eat Jollibee.

Workers were rude! Except for the older filipina lady. She was super sweet! The manager there was this indian lady and she was rude to all the customers! She was however very friendly to her fellow Indian customers!

We ate at several fast food restaurants (KFC, Taco Bell, McDonalds), but I liked this one the best. Fast service, delicious food. The fast food restaurant was clean, unlike other fast food chains.

Ordered bucket spicy chicken, 3 peach mango pie, large drink and spagetti. the spagetti pasta was overcooked and not much spagetti sauce - they all end up in the bin. the spicy chicken was good. the peach mango pie was delicious. please work on your pasta. please do not overcook it and do not add much water instead add more spagetti sauce. day 2, tried the chicken curry in a bowl. find them awful. the sauce doesn’t taste right. A MUST in this shop: spicy chicken peach mango pie Do NOT order : Spagetti as the pasta is overcooked.

The food arrived cold, with half-cooked fries. The spicy chicken sandwich was not only cold, but the bun was rock hard. I also ordered the 3-piece spicy chicken, which was just terrible—hard, cooked in what looked like old, black oil, and cold as well. I feel like I’ve wasted my money, and I won’t be ordering from Jollibee again. They seriously need to step up their food quality for delivery.

One of my comfort food back in Singapore, and the quality of the fried chicken is actually great! Accidentally slipped on the stairs down (my own accord) and the staff was nice enough to replace my drink and fries.

Went here with the vouchers from welcome week of UoE. The service was amazing! The food that we ordered was served piping hot! It can get pretty crowded sometimes and noisy too. The seating spaces aren’t much so that can be an issue sometimes. Overall a decent experience!

First time trying this fast food chain. I wasn't a huge fan of the burger and dessert but the fries were tasty and for me an unusual combination. I liked those. When it goes for this particular branch it felt chaotic, not enough space for people to wait till they food is ready which in our case was 20+ minutes.

Delicious food. Chicken curry rice bowl and chips was the perfect ammount for lunch and all under a £10a 😊👌 will definitely be back in.

I have always enjoyed Jolibee, and the experience in most Jolibees in the UK has always been delightful. Although we enjoyed the actual meal at our recent visit at the Edinburgh branch, I suggest that certain staff need to take up customer service training; Our order was taken by Blue, who is the definition of having a "face with subtitles", the negative attitude, raised eyebrows, abrupt answers and talking about customers with other colleagues IN FRONT OF THEM (Yes, we understand Tagalog) is completely unacceptable. It's a shame, really, as Jolibee promotes happy and polite service, and one person can ruin one's whole dining experience.

We have been there quite a few times and it was really good on those occasions but this time around they didn't have the spicy option for their chicken for some reason which was a bit of a let down but the fried chicken was piping hot and fresh and the burger as well. It is halal and would definitely recommend.

The burgers exceeded my expectations.

Ok, first things first. If you are thinking that Jollibee in the UK will be like Jollibee in the Philippines, I'm afraid it isn't. The chicken is dry and quite spicy in comparison. The menu is also more limited and more expensive in the UK. This particular restaurant, as seems to be the case with others here, appears to be small but well patronised. The lack of cleanliness and care taken in the restaurant was noticeable, there wasn't someone dedicated to clearing and cleaning tables as you would get in the Philippines. Empty food and drinks containers were left for anyone wanting to sit down to move and dispose of. The tables don't appear to be regularly cleaned down. Additionally, the hand washing station had long run out of soap, what's the point of providing a hand washing station without soap? The guy emptying the bin never even checked the soap dispenser. In all, disappointing. The restaurants here in the UK very much seem to trade on the goodwill generated by the branches in the Philippines and the much better food.

The food here is Halal, and much much better then other Fast Food Outlets. The burger patties were juicy. Visited 2 times in a 3 day trip as it was budget friendly compared to other restaurants as I Felt Edinburgh to be a little costlier then other cities.

Excellent fried chicken with gravy, the peach mango pie is also quite decent. Some of the ordering machines don't work and can get crowded during meal time but it didn't take that long when we went there twice.

Cannot be compared to other fast food competitors. Jolibee operates in a league of their own in terms of decent and unique food offerings. You have to try the spaghetti.
