The food was great quality, tasty and still hot. The meat and prawns were cooked really well and very tasty. I have given a 4* only for delivery as it was delivered over half an hour early, which in some ways is great but we had planned around the delivery time so we were not ready for it that time.

What a shame food excellent app horrendous goes to end then says can't deliver waste of time

lovely food but one thing I don't get if you ring them and spend £30 your get free prawn crackers. I spend £40 odd a time through the just eat app with this Chinese but they wont give free prawn crackers but of a let down really.....

The food is good but this is not the first time we've had a late delivery from here. If they are understaffed for delivery drivers they should be changing their estimated delivery times.

Very poor I can understand finding 1 bit of bone when getting stuck into my pancake but 3 bits about 20mm long 3mm wide is definitely not good enough, I’ve got afew more years in me yet and don’t fancy having one of them stuck in my throat, I’ll be staying well away from this place Phone up to say what I had found and his reply was you get this when it comes shredded really be warned

Beef curry wasn't hot it was Luke warm and rices were more boiled not fried. Did not like it much

Took over 1 1/2 hours to arrive. Ordered noodles and bit into it and found loads of hard cartilage that was mixed into the noodles. The noodles smelt like they had been sat for a week. Inedible. Expected not to eat tonight. Instead offered free item next time we order. Won’t be ordering from here again.

This Chinese is just next level!! The food is absolutely priceless and the prices are fair. I’ve often gotten a delivery and the delivery times given are accurate and food always turns up hot. The drivers are always polite! The lady on the phone is helpful. All around amazing experiences for the many orders we have made!

The delivery driver was friendly and the food arrived in the specified time window, albeit at the very latest point, and the food was still steaming hot. Portion sizes were good for every item and really tasted great. The only criticism would the fried items, like the colour of the sweet & sour chicken balls being very dark Nd a bit over done....I'm assuming the oil needs a change they were cooked in but the chicken inside was cooked well and tasted good. No items missed or any issues with the order, we will be using them again.

As always, arrived on time, hot, plentiful and tasty.

I've never been to China. But I have been to Emsworth. This is one of my favourite takeaways locally, they prepare and deliver the food to your door. It's very good. Here's a picture I drew of the menu to give you an idea.

Food was delivered over 2 hours after ordering and over an hour after the listed delivery time had passed. Due to this most of the food was Luke warm at best. Despite this the flavour was good.

Food took 2 hours to arrive and was sweating on the bag on delivery! Only positive about this meal was the lady that took the calls at the restaurant.

Excellent but sadly the minimum price for delivery has gone up quite a bit so I doubt I’ll use this restaurant much anymore. Shame as it’s always been excellent but for only two of us it’s gone up too much.

Great food as usual,,, my son and I both had singapore noodles and chicken in black bean sauce,, and was absolutely delicious, I would highly recommend a meal from here, you will not be disappointed.

Placed an order at 6.45 pm. Called at 8.30pm for an update and was told order was with the driver and should be 5-10 minutes. Called again at 8.50pm and was told the same thing. Still no delivery at 9 so called again and was then told driver was 2 miles away. Good finally arrived at 9.30pm, almost 3 hours after ordering. Food was Luke warm and mediocre. Felt awful for the woman taking the calls as seemed like we weren’t the only ones experiencing this tonight!!

Great Chinese Beware cash only unless ordered online

Food was disgusting, chips were dry and stale. Chicken balls were burnt and dripping in grease. Really not happy about tonights order. Dont think il be using again!

I live in Havant, this restaurant is in Emsworth and the minimum order is very reasonable as is delivery charge. My local Chinese require a £28 minimum order. But more importantly the food was faultless and hot. Absolutely amazing and definitely my new Chinese restaurant

Food was late and when I called they hung up on me when I complained cause I wasn't happy. I understand you get busy but to have them hang up on you is not on. just plain rude.

Ordered from here for the first time as our regular restaurant was closed. Lovely food and great variety to choose from. Arrived hot and on time, with friendly service. The ONLY criticism I have is that for how much we spent, we would have thought some prawn crackers would be included, complimentary. This won’t stop us ordering from here again though!

Meal for 2; large portions, hot and very tasty. Slightly late but Messaged to say delivery would be slightly late so no drama.

Pre-ordered in morning as knew they would be busy ! Food came the minute they said it would and was delicious!

I love the food from here it’s very tasty and always arrives hot! The one thing I will say though is the chicken balls are very very greasy, my partner has to lightly squeeze them in a paper towel before eating them and the amount of grease that comes out of them is pretty off putting.

I was delivered some different items than ordered, called the restaurant and they immediately delivered the correct items. Fabulous service and delicious food!!

Wont be using this chinese again, food came over an hour late, to then realise they sent the wrong dish out, waited over 35mins for the correct dish to be sent out. My dinner was cold from waiting for the other dish. When i rang up to see how long my food was going to be the lady who answers the phone was very rude. Really disappointed in the service tonight and wont be using again!!

Only ordered starters but they were very good.

The delivery was on time but the food was mediocre. The chicken was squishy like it had been boiled and the beef was beef, I think? Not great.

5* food for sure. All the lower ratings are 95% down to service and waiting times. If this restaurant spent sometime getting staffing/service in place then it would be much higher rating.

Sorry to say that overall it was quite disappointing, I was a first time customer and that was the first time eating with my aged mother for nearly a year so we thought we’d have a treat... I’m afraid that the food was a let down though - mum said the sweet n sour sauce was gloopy and that the chicken was tough, my dish of Kung po chicken wasn’t that so if you were expecting a mystery mixed meats dish in a salty brown sauce last night then I have it in my fridge and you’re welcome to collect it. Yes I could have called them back to say that, but I was some miles away when I found out and we were hungry so I didn’t. On the plus side, service was very friendly, food was ready ahead of time, I was very lucky to be able to park right outside the door and I am grateful that we were able to get any food at all given the current situation. I’ve certainly had nicer food from other takeaways but this place obviously has a loyal following so maybe we were just unlucky.

First time trying Oriental City and we will definitely be returning, lovely staff quick service and really good food!
