Oriental Chef in Wirral

Ordered at 6pm and at 7.30pm still no food, told it left at 6.30pm and will be with me soon. I questioned if rice dish would still be hot and safe to eat. Shouted at that it would be safe. 15 minutes still no food. So I called again and demanded a refund! Took a few days to refund. Won't order again

Unbelievable... Singapore chow mein. Overcooked cheapest quality noodles with overcooked meats pieces. It's impossible to find which kind of meats that was. Not even one piece of chillies or prawns. All together mixed with a lot of grease, soy sauce (??) and few pieces of onion. It's unbelievable that this business is running. They have no shame, really.

Food took ages to arrive and when it did it was cold.wont be going there again

Missing item prawn crackers wrong size sausage asked for large got two small ones. Chips, noodles, duck dish ok

Food is absolutely amazing and always piping hot. Staff are also very friendly and cooperative. Would go again.

we order food at 7.05 tonight they said 40 min phone it through 10 past 8 l phone at 8.10 they said it had left 8.30 still no food l live 5min away should of walked up and got it but had family visiting and when it come 25 to 9 it was cold

Half the order missing!,rang restaurant and they apologised and said they would send the food straight away, no surprise the food didn’t arrive! Will not be ordering from here again.

It's not great for the price , bland salt n pepper chips slightly hard. Egg foo yung ok so so , curry sauce saved the day. Pay over the odds and it's below average sadly no return been had off , my heart broke.

Very expensive with a extremely hit & miss menu. Chicken & sweetcorn soup is good and the sweet & sour can't be faulted but Black bean - don't bother lacks anything in the way of flavour and is very bland, no chilli's or garlic etc highly disappointing

Ordered at 1730 hrs salt and pepper chicken and chips for delivery. 50 mins later still no show called and was shouted at "it's on its way 8 mins" and they put the phone down and call back and they say the driver has left It's now 1930 and still no food. This is the second time this has happened but I tried again as the food was good but shouting and putting the phone down on your customers is not acceptable do not order delivery from here I never will again.

Food is ok but I think being charged an extra 60p per a sausage to be battered is a compete and utter joke!!! Won't be coming here again. Back to Martin's lane chippy I go..

Food is nice but £3.50 for less than a half a portion of chips with the salt and pepper flavouring. Honestly shocked at the size of that portion.

Very friendly staff, not many customers in store but obviously very busy with phone orders. Still found time to keep me updated on when my own order would be ready. Can't fault them for that.

Food was actually quite nice. Didn't mind waiting a while for the food. Just Meant they were busy which is always good to know.

ordered ham ommlette and chips for the chips to be rock hard, partner rang up to get a replacement for the poor delivery driver to have to check what i was sending back was hardly eaten before she could give us the fresh one and she had to ring up her boss to explain before she could pass it over! and the worst part was the fresh one was still awful) and then the poor deliver driver had to tel us the woman in there had said we werent allowed to order from there again... she was very rude on the phone when my partner was trying to explain the problem, and he was so polite about it so there ahouldnt have been a problem!! but it wasnt just the ham ommlette that was a problem the prawn crackers tastes stale like they had been there days... wouldnt eat there again even if i was paid!! staff need a lesson on how to communicate to customers!! and how to treat the driver with respect instead of making her do there dirty work!!

I was absolutely appalled by the way I was treated in this place. The level of respect I was given was disgusting I had never seen anything like it. I ordered a noodle soup and my god I was excited to eat this I was starving.. opened the lid the noodles were rock hard, I started to constantly choke on the noodles as they broke off in the back of my throat. I called up the chippy to explain what had happened she was very rude and aggressive towards me and told me I have to make my own way to the chippy and get another soup. I told her I didn’t want another soup I would just like my money back and she kept telling me no and was so aggressive and rude towards me it was unbelievable. I made my way down to the chippy and she snatched the soup off me and threw £2.70 at me. I was disgusted the way she didn’t even say sorry or anything to make me feel a little better. I asked if I could have the delivery charge back and she kept screaming in my face “NO I DONT WANT TO TALK TO YOU” I told her the attitude she had towards me was disgusting and she started to take photographs of me on her personal phone. I turned away so she couldn’t get my face and at this point I got very very angry. She then come from behind the counter and got right in my face screaming at me and when she went to walk away after me telling her too she hit me and grabbed hold of my arm very tightly. At this point I was frightened as to what she was doing as I was on my own and I am only 19 years old. Then one of the men from the back of the shop ran over and put the shutter down and locked me in and she told me I’d be staying there the night, I just wanted to leave. I then called the police and explained what had happened and she ran over and unlocked the shutter so I was able to leave. She called me a liar and said none of it happened but I know I was not dreaming and I left that place shook up. I will never ever return to that place again as it is absolutely disgusting and I will be going further with this.

Absolutely disgusting food and really rude staff. Look at the article in the Liverpool Echo in January, that speaks volumes. Rats and mice and droppings. Just shocking that this place is still open!

Fast delivery, great prices, lovely food

Ordered through just eat after been in hospital with my son so thought I'd order s take away for me and the wife this was at almost 10pm after waiting a hour and a half for delivery we get a text saying there have just canceled the order 11.15pm so we sat around for over a hour waiting for nothing !! 😠 We had to order again and didn't get to eat till almost 1am in the morning !!!! Awful service and not even a apology and just eat offerd us a £3 voucher which I found very insulting ! Avoid this place so unprofessional conduct

How has this place been allowed to re-open? It was closed by inspectors because of filthy mice ridden kitchens!

i have eat from your dump of a chippy plenty of times now after seeing these pictures on google of the lack of cleaning and rotten food and dead mice left on the floor i certainty wont be back scruffy dirty chippy you need shutting down filthy shop

Ordered Tom Yum Special. Supposed to be spicy? Your having a laugh! Totally bland! Just a mix of stir fried onion, chicken, beef and King Prawn! No hint of any spice whatsoever. Won’t be coming here again.

All I can say about this place is that it was like a port in a storm when, I walked home from New Brighton after a night out - full of beer 🍺 & very wet 🌧 after walking two miles (but hey, very happy 👍) They where just about to pack up, but very kindly offered to cook me a lovely chicken chow mein at a very reasonable price. It was delicious &, the place is definitely on my revisit list.

Chef must have been replaced. Food is less than execptable now. Used to be the best chippy about. Not anymore. Over priced for tasteless meals. Wont be going there anymore. How can they make chilli and garlic taste of neither chilli or garlic. And the special has more veg than meat. Discracefull.....!
