Not customer friendly. Both staff and restaurant

bathroom stinks and everytime I go there there's a different way of queuing for some reason, I get told to stand on one side and then the next time it's something else, food was good though

Service is so slow, and confused employees. They messed up my order three different times. The place is quite small for a MCD but is the only one in the area.

Where do I start? McSpicy was ok ish temperature-wise but the batter was tough rather than crispy. Big Mac, nuggets and "hot" apple pie were cold (I even paid for premium delivery!). Choc brownie and the dip for the nuggets were missing. Instead I ended up with a second cookie (which was ok). Finally the mixed berry muffin was sharp tasting and very doughy inside. First and last order.

Ok just didn't do the bacon enough

One of the worst McDonald's in town. The service was quiet bad aswell as the employees were quiet rude. No proper management aswell. I wouldn't recommend anyone around to visit this branch

Seams to be more deliveries and queue at till must be short staffed 25 mins to be served and get food people complain too

There was like one employee there on the tills meaning it took about 5 minutes in-between each person ordering, the food was cold and not very enjoyable to eat.

Not only was the food cold, they forgot one of the meals when I wrang up I was told that it wasn't their fault

this makes me feel sick by typing this I was food poisoning from this McDonalds in Birkenhead absolutely disgraceful and am so Vulnerable to and it's disgraceful I was sick everywhere this morning then chicken select wasn't cooked right I should of open it inside and took a picture of it but I forgot won't be coming here ever ever again ! Sort the food out properly!

Food presentation poor and hot chocolate only warm

As with every golden arches the food was awful, it was cold tasteless and only really fit for the bin, we only went there as we couldn't find anything decent to eat near the docks.

I never normally have a problem here, eating in or delivering for them. The staff are lovely and the food is okay. Today I was kept waiting for a longer than average amount of time for an Uber Delivery order so I cancelled the job to work another platform and left, when leaving I made a staff member aware and they wasn’t too bothered. A short while later I returned with a new order, I was confronted by Chelsea (shift manager) who kicked off for cancelling it, despite my self being self employed. I explained that on this occasion the wait time was too long so I cancelled but she wasn’t happy about this, she was raising her voice in front of a restaurant full of customers when she is quite clearly in the wrong. Delivery drivers are self employed and they can do if they wish cancel their orders at any point.

Food was fresh and hot, although service a bit slow. Unfortunately full of teen kids messing about and not even eating.

Went in for my lunch. Taking the food out with me. II literally drove down the road less than a quarter of a mile pulled over to eat my lunch. The chips were freezing cold. The Burger I ordered with no pickles came in a box with a sticker saying no pickles. But when I bit into It it was freezing, cold and had pickles in it. Over 6 pounds I spent on the meal and it went straight in. The bin I will not be returning to McDonald's ever again. And I will be letting everybody i know on Social media how disgusting the food is there. If I wanted cold food, I would have gone somewhere else for cold food.!!!!!!!!!

Something not right with big macs, been ill tummy ache. Yes tried different mcplaces and things are just as bad, slooooow service due to outside orders, food gets to you cold, a lot goes wrong with them giving you wrong or missing stuff. Also for what we pay for we should be served hot food and proper order. I have noticed the burgers seem fairly different from the past, I enjoyed them but not any more. I will no longer bother going in, expensive for cheap filling burgers, I would rate burgers at - 0.00001.

The only decent McDonald’s left on the Wirral! None of that self service malarkey, just good old customer service.. friendly staff interacting with customers like how it used to be! Extremely fast service and hot, accurate food.. which is rare nowadays.

Service speed has improved, however no flurries and no app access is a downside.

Staff are lovely and polite food was hot and quick, recommended.

Bought a spicy chicken burger meal, large… fries cold exchanged for fresh which had tons of salt on, inedible. Burger was Luke warm. Miserable staff!, no manners. Won’t be back!!

OMG no hygiene I just been served a girl she was piking her nose touching her ear and wiping her eyes no gloves on shocking... if I could I would of give 0 but no option.

Server put fries in a bag and left them on the counter. Order took another 2 songs (6-8 minutes) to be completed. We all know fries go cold quick and so I asked for some fresh ones. I watched the McMuppet put the cold fries back under the heater and grab another slightly warmer but definitely not fresh box. Baffled by the lack of standards openly on display here. After a year of trying to give this location a chance and regularly getting old crusty burgers and cold soggy fries, I give up. The picture is this locactions signature soggy and undercooked fries that were considered "fresh".

I had placed an order from here and the food had come and the delivery driver has DROPPED the drinks and they had spilt when my family had got our chips they were SOGEY from the drinks 😡🤬😡🤬😡🤬😡

Its a mcdonalds in birkenhead. Workers are probably overworked and can sometimes mess up orders but thats not really a reason to get mad at them, but there is usually a fight around here so be careful i guess.

Service is very bad it was very quiet just me and my friends more than 20 minutes we wait for 3 wraps We ordered without baken we can’t eat and they give three of them with baken i don’t how they gonna serve for allergens too horrible 😤

We were hit with a parking charge. All because we didn't know it wasn't McDonald's car park (even with it being next to McDonald's entrance) if your local you will know. If you're not ' beware'

This place is so much mass around Walk in and waited 15 minutes to order and couldn’t not find where to order or No sign that says order here food is all over counter and I was first person to wait but someone else walked in order finally got to place order the trainee staff was talking order so boring did not smile not even said hi not eye in my eye like just Robert order please what u like that all why people work if they not no energy or positive attitude in them ..!

Second time getting delivery of food where items are missing the drinks were wrong and there's never a toy in the happy meal

The burger is fine but bit cold . Poor hygiene requires a lot of improvement. There are always roadmen inside the maccies and making me feel unsafe.

Food delivery was all wrong! Loads of missing food and what was there was cold. When we called they tried to blame the delivery guy (bag was sealed with the receipt order attached) so it's the restaurants fault not the delivery guy! They put food in the bag and sealed it. McDonald's wouldn't take the blame and refused to help.

Slow, slow service. They will ignore you on the other side of the restaurant while you die from hunger at the till. Food is not bad by McDonalds standards.

Awful. The management there are disgraceful. My 16 year old kid got his first job there. The management are nothing but vile little bullies, making him take a break 10 minutes into an 8 hour shift. Making him work till midnight even though it’s illegal. Ignoring his availability and then complain when he has to swap shifts. Worst mc Donald’s there is, the place needs to shut down and do the town a favour

1- The manager who has a long hair is a bad communicator. 2- They don’t use the Mac app rewards. 3- I gave a star for the young ladies who are working and the coffee was nice.

The shift runner Amy stood slagging people off and telling her staff to just put anything down for the fridge temps. Need sacking, waited nearly half hour for food, worst mackies ever been in in me life.

Slowest maccies ive been too ever

In my order is missing happy meal. Wrong service. I call 8 times and no result.

Utterly sick and tired of never, and I do mean never, receiving my full order from this McDonalds when ordering via Just Eat. Food is decent enough and arrives quickly enough, but the order is always missing something. Tonight my order was missing 2 burgers from meals, got the fries etc but no main burger. I mean how hard is it to read an order when packing the bag, even if you are very busy. Also, just to add, the McDonalds at Rock Retail Park is no better when it comes to items missing.

this is an update from a year ago, which received a 1 star from me. things have got much worse! the emphasis is definitely on delivery, bags of food go in an out drivers everywhere, whilst the 3 customers waiting instore receive nothing. suggestion to mcdonalds either close completely or go full delivery.

Absolutely rubbish I won’t remember anyone to order from this restaurant the service is terrible 😡😡😡 it’s been more than 10 time we ordered they haven’t delivered correctly not even once and when we tried to call no answer than drove down went in the restaurant they had no decency to apologise instead they call me I was making it up even had the receipt to prove am absolutely fuming 😡

This is my first time ordering in Uber Eats and I know I am never ordering again. When I got my order for my family, my little sister and brother didn't receive their main meal, their fries and cheese dips, we tried calling and emailing but got no reply, as the big sister I'm utterly upset as well because i got no refund and personally, you guys should improve and check you service.

Always miss meals off orders every single time and the sauces. On this occasion they sent a raw double quarter pounder.

Not very inviting. A bit run down and seemed to be more delivery people than customers. Meal appeared rather small. The cleaner was really helpful, a real star.

Dry burgers, pale buns, clearly put under a heat lamp. Restaurant doesn't look like it has been cleaned a while. Outdated equipment clearly shows that this place has not been refurbished.

The queuing system in this store needs to be fixed. On entering the counter in straight a had of you. But you dont order there..... You got to go the left and line up that way. (how are you going to know this if 1st time here?) once you have made ur order you wait in the middle part ( in front of the counter) until ur order is called out..... you dont get given a receipt they just call out your order. There is no stopping anyone else saying yes thats my order. Even if you had your order first and someone ordered the same. thus could create conflict. Or what is stopping anyone just taking the wrong order.? This is not every mcdonalds its just this one. The others i go to work efficiently. So what cant this one ?

Dirty. Stone Cold food. Advised 15 min wait For replacement hot items. Waited. Still cold? Several members of staff stood outside front door smoking. Sat on the floor with drinks etc. No wonder there’s hardly anyone in. Are McDonald’s doing any sort of quality control these days?!?!

Do not order from this restaurant on just eat. I choose to go to the rock retail park as more often than not, there is always at least 1-2 items missing and it's never the cheapest item. I don't normally complain or leave reviews but I'm sorry to say its become a habit of this restaurant.

The place needs knocking down, the system is a joke when you walk in

The service was absolutely diabolical. The servers especially Laura the crew trainer was dreadful. Took nearly 15 from order to receiving the food. The first time the food was cold. Asked for a fresh one to be made. which then took another 5 minutes. The second burger was cold cheese wasn't evenmelted. Had to get a full refund and and the staff found it funny and were laughing behind the fill area. When getting a refund for all my items they didn't want to give a refund on my drink as I had drank some of it while waiting. Has to be the worst experience in a McDonalds that I have had

Completely disappointed in this place, everytime we order from here we are missing something, the chips are so white they looked like they were only introduced to the fat, and as for the presentation of it, put it this way it would not win an award!!

More concerned about deliveries than the people sitting inside. However both services are shocking, I don't understand how the employees can get it so wrong!

they gave us the wrong order and when i try ring McDonald’s it’s self they don’t bother answering i tried ringing 15 times and no one picked up , so we try ring just eat, we can’t there number , but if they did answer they would say “ring just eat “ but i’m sorry but what has it got to do with just eat with my wrong order you give it to the drivers so it should be macdonalds fault this always happens with the one in birkenhead!!!!!!!!!!!

I ordered through Uber eats, received wrong order, so sent it back with the driver and contacted McDonald's through Uber to notify them of this. It's over an hour later I still haven't had a reply from them, I have been charged for the food. I am hungry and would like to know if they are going to correct the mistake or shall I order from somewhere else???? It would help if McDonald's communicated back!!!! It's now almost 10pm and they will be closing soon.

Our order was short by 2 items shop didn't answer the phone even though we'd rang from 2 different mobiles. What we got was cold an unappetising. I wouldn't recommend here to anyone

Rude staff, poor layout and dirty

Food was over an hour late, food was just chucked in bag and was freezing cold. Apple pie was passed discard time by over an hour, coffee was ice cold chips all soggy and cold. Burgers were just a mess. Tried calling the restaurant a few times with no response. Awful customer service, to think that this restaurants use to once be good many years ago, shame staff and poor management there now have let it down so much.

Don't come here expecting fast food, I could've cooked a meal myself in the time it took to order and that was the quick bit!! If you come here to eat in, my advice would be to order a delivery on line and give your address as "standing out side the shop", hopefully you'll get your food in under the 40 minutes I had to wait for mine!!!

Went this afternoon with my 5yr old Son, the place was grubby, the queue to be served was taking forever (1 staff member on the tills). Too busy sorting the delivery, just eat drivers etc. We will not be returning!

Would prefer to give no stars but not able to post review without giving at least one star. Always come here when we're here on holidays. 2nd time we've come here and the food has been freezing. Absolute disgrace. Girl who served me was friendly enough

Placed this order from uber eats ..it arrived 1 hrs 15min late ..the food was cold hence it didn't get eaten and was thrown away ....

Absolutely ridiculous, by far the worst mcdonalds Ive visited in years . 30 minutes in a queue of 3 people. Staff happy chatting with workers on break, witnessed lots of complaints about mistakes. The queuing system in store is comically bad. By the time I got my food 45 minutes after arriving the kids had lost interest and food was cold. Persuaded them to get desert elsewhere as wasn't prepared to wait that long again. Best part of the experience was leaving.

Aweful6, did an order on uber eats for a few of us, when it arrived was missing 2/3 of the order. Tried for 45 min to call and contact them and just ignored or phone put down on us. Shocking service and the food was cold on arrival

3rd time in two weeks they've put brown sauce on instead of red. Sick of it, it's not rocket science. There's 2 sauces to choose from, how they get it so wrong really baffles me.

Worst McDonalds i've ever been in. Qued up for over 20 minutes, while all the staff focussed on delivery orders, had 1 person doing walk in orders. Totally ignored customers while staff got their own food and there was a huge que. When we finally got to the front, no milkshakes, coffee machine was broken. It'd have been quicker to order on Just Eat and pick it up from the delivery section. One man complained he had waited 40 minutes for 2 happy meals. Shocking customer service, never again!

Store needs new management asap dont know how to cook anything hahahah money we pay for the meals now also is stupid high tax for less food than wha we used to get sort your staff store and company out
