I always enjoy the food from Orient Express. Can't wait until the lockdown ends and I can eat in the restaurant again. Choudry as become a good friend over the years.

1tiny tub of onion salad for 2 portions of popadom which were smashed to pieces.1 tiny bit of salad for 2 portions of onion bhaji.1 tiny tub of yogurt for 2 portions fo bhaji.1 hour 10 minutes early.Do they try and impress with first order then don't give a dam.I gave a great review first time.Sorry not this time Shocking..

Awful food, tasted like it was made weeks ago and just reheated. If I’d been served food like that in their restaurant I’d have walked out without paying!

The food looked and tasted like it had been made and kept warm for hours, it was shrivelled and tasted of cooking oil (especially the chips which were that bad, they were thrown away), the only thing stopping a 1 star review is that the curry (Jalfrezi) was nice, I used Orient Express once before and the service/food wasn't good and I vowed not to use them again, but I thought i'd give them a second chance - They won't be getting a third.....

Our order was an hour late but after I phoned they explained they was really busy also forgot chips what i ordered but quickly got them once we phoned, despite all of this highly recommend, the food tasted amazing, easily one of the best chicken balti's I've eaten! Will happily order from here again

This was utterly disgusting how late our order was tonight! We ordered at 8:45 and didn’t get our food till 22:51, had to phone the restaurant three times everything said the same thing it will be 10-15mins but every time that time passed and still no delivery! This food arrived cold and bland! Will not be ordering again!!

At the minute I still haven’t received it so up to now it’s 20 minutes later already

Lovely meal that was worth the wait. Friendly delivery guy that was very aware of safely delivering our food without contact.

Food was ordered at 7:30 was predicted to come at 9 and it came at 20 past, chips wasn’t cooked and the Donner meat wasn’t either, the curry was ordered mild and came too hot to eat . I’ve ordered here a lot and never had a problem with the food so it was disappointing tonight to say how many times I’ve ordered from the company.

Curry was nice tasty and quite spicy to say it was the medium- mild option, but couldn’t fault it at all. Naan bread was lovely too I got the sweet one. They also gave free mint and onions which I thought was very generous as you normally have to pay a fortune for this!!! My boyfriend had a burger no complaints from him either not the best or worst he’d ever had

3 hours late kept phoning the place and kept getting told 5 mins! Garlic bread was ice cold and rock solid! WORST TAKE AWAY EVER AVIOD AND SAVE YOUR MONEY! Wankers

Food was average at best. Waited 2 hour and 30 minutes (1 hour and 30 minutes) after its scheduled time. I understand that on a Friday evening it will be busy and given the current circumstances worldwide a lot more people will be ordering food but the wait time should not be given at 45 mins - 1 hour and mislead customers into thinking this is the case. The wait time needs to be updated accordingly as it is poor customer service.

Ordered before restaurant opened for a 6.15pm delivery. Order turned up 30 mins late and was barely warm. Spent over £30 for a family take away and thought I would have received better service and better quality. Definitely won't be ordering again!!!

Usually the food is really good, but last night it was overly greasy and oily. Shame as we've used a fair few times and usually been very happy. Had bhajis swapped out for something else without advice, which was no where near as nice as bhajis are. As well as being at least 30 minutes late, means it wasnt a very good experience last night.

Went for the new years eve party they do. Very reasonably priced with a great hot buffet on. The dj is great and really keeps everyone entertained especially the kids. Will go again

We have be ordering from here for as long as can remember. Never get a curry from anywhere else, always took a long time but that’s never bothered me as the food is worth the wait home cooked. However recently it hasn’t been very nice. Tonight the rice was hard like it had been reheated the salad didn’t look very appealing. I’m not sure what’s happened recently but we’ve noticed a big difference

Delivery was 2 hours, phoned the restaurant who said they were busy and that my order would be another 15 minutes. When food arrived it was cold had to reheat. First and last time ordering from here.

Completely flavourless. The only thing I tasted was the heartburn shortly after tasting it. I remember why I stopped ordering Indian takeaways.

So disappointed with this restaurant because even through they set their initial delivery time as an hour after ordering, it was still over 30 mins late. When I rang the restaurant, all they had to say was “ it SHOULD be on its way to you now”. I ordered garlic chappatis and got plain ones. The most disappointing thing is that the food was actually really nice, and they’d catered to my request to spice it up but the delivery time (which seems to be a running theme in the reviews) was a joke.

Ridiculously greasy food. Ordered 4 popadoms, 4 onion bhajis, and chicken tikka starters and got one small pot of yoghurt and no chutney??? Will not be ordering again.

The food tated bland. Korma like water, chips super greasy, garlic nan without the garlic. I've never had rice like it from any takeaway before. Would definitely avoid this place in future.

Nice food but just nice nothing amazing about it . Ordered a pickle tray had plenty but no cucumber in onion salad? It was just onion but i guess each restaurant's are different Onion Bhaji was really hard again dont know if thats how this restaurant does theres as this was a first time order. We have ordered from here previously and have been really impressed with our service and food. But this evening has been disappointing, our food was late and when we finally received the food and checked ready to serve and we had all broken poppadoms, my nann bread was stodgy and soggy, we had parts of our meal and order missing. We rang up and explained and with thanks they did send out the missing items but spoiled all the meal as then the time received reminder the rest of food was almost spoiled. Sorry for the bad review but our meal was pretty bad tonight.

2hours to deliver. No updates on delay until I complained and then food had clearly been driven round for multiple drop offs as couldn't eat chips... Curry was cold and bread on both naan and breadbun were soaking wet with condensation. First and last time I will order from here. I appreciate restaurant may be busy but don't advertise 45min delivery time when in reality it was 2hours 10mins. So disappointed.

The food was terrible the chicken was under cooked and there was no flavour at all with the curry, the onion Bahjis had no flavour and was very stale I will never order from this restaurant again and advise others to order with care.

Oily curry sauce and very dry meat

This restaurant is a definite favourite and we’ve been coming for over 15 years. We prefer to order from the menu and chose to have fish pakora and kebabs to start. We pre ordered this chicken dish which is marinated before hand and slow cooked. It’s beautifully moist and super tasty. It was busy but still had a relaxed atmosphere and made for a very enjoyable evening with family.

The chicken tasted metalic almost like it had been cooked in a rusty pan. There is now a £12 meal deal in my bin it was that bad. Disgusting you've lost a customer

This is the third time I’ve ordered from here. And the food has always been spot on! I’ve never had a bad delivery yet. The chicken curry is gorgeous and I love the crunchy onions. And the noodles are so tasty 😋 The chips don’t seem to be as fresh as I would like but I can’t complain 👌🏼

Delivery took quite a while to come considering I only live a couple mins drive away and only ordered a curry and 2 drinks. Food made up for it was decent .Ordered 2 cans of drink and only received 1 ! Which meant sharing the drink between me and my daughter.with the time it did take to arrive I would have thought the order would have been checked before delivered.

Food was Luke warm when it arrived. The delivery driver gave a poor excuse of that it was difficult to find my house. Very disappointed as the food food would have been great if it was hot!

Orient express is a cosy little place! The food was lovely and would deffo reccomend the chicken masala curry and fish masala starter! The atmosphere was so peaceful and staff are so friendly and welcoming! A huge shout out to Jamaal who was our host for the night and was so attentive bringing us drinks before we asked and clearing up our table as soon as. He also entertained my little brother and kept him happy whilst we ate no matter how busy he was. He is a credit to your team! A true gent.

Estimated time of delivery was 1hr15mins. It eventually arrived after 1hr45mins. Phone number said 'not in use'. When it arrived no apology for being late. When I said phone wasn't working and it was 30mins late I was told he'd got lost! Subsequently the food was cold!! I won't be ordering take away or going to the restaurant in a hurry again. It used to be really good, not anymore!!!

I ordered the food at 19.30 it was delivered 21.35 food was freezing meaning chips etc was un eatable and things were missing off my order . Will not be ordering from here again

First time I've ordered and Wouldn't order again poor value for money, the korma sauce I could have drank through a straw it was that watery we had half a tub of rice & the chips was like they had been soaked in oil what a waste of money as we didn't eat it

having ordered from this restaurant lots of times I was confident that I would have no issues, how wrong can you be! £32 worth of order, asked for chilli sauce on chicken kebab........ wow had to fish out chicken throw sea of chilli, after three bites gave up. why would any restaurant pour half a bottle of hot chilli sauce on a kebab with no salad (although it was requested), send it out to a long standing customer! phoned and stated how disgusted I was, tbf the offered to resend, erm, no thanks!!! I WILL NEVER ORDER OR RECOMMEND THIS TAKEAWAY, order at your own risk 😬
