Lovely little spot, friendly lady and her husband. Great coffee, and ice cream depends on the weather. We always call when we walk or cycle the canal. Never had a bad experience here. Shame it's closed in Winter, but can't deny the owners a bit of time off. Worth noting......only cash or bank transfer. Look forward to visiting again in Spring.

After a long walk beside the canal, we came across Orchard Teas. What a great find, a lovely white painted cabin to sit in with cane chairs and pretty cushions. Large cups of delicious tea and local ice cream. I had elderflower and gooseberry. We continued on our way refreshed and happy!

I love this little cafe, it’s a real gem. The owner is very friendly and it’s just the perfect stop off for a hot drink or ice cream on your walk along the canal. The summer house is beautiful.

Tucked away in this tiny hamlet on the most beautiful stretch of The Chesterfield Canal Orchard Teas serve hot and cold drinks and some gorgeous locally produced ice cream from a little cabin by the canal and have a little summerhouse you can sit in to enjoy it. Walkers, cyclists and boaters all stop and take a well earned break on their way past and you are guaranteed a warm welcome and some really good ice cream. Not to be missed. Orchard Teas is only open during the summer months

I nip down during a break at work to grab some tasty baked stuff and a sandwich. Always helpful and friendly.

Lovely cafe, great friendly service with a welcome as soon as you get through the door. All the ladies served with a smile and provided a treat for my dog. All tables were spotless and were cleaned as soon as any customers left. Had the Pump breakfast which was really tasty, and treated myself to a cake from the extensive choice. Will definitely be back

Everything really good except for one strange thing. On checking the bill more closely later I found that I had been charged 1p each for the three glasses of TAP water given for "Service". If I'd known that at the time, I'd have taken 3p off the 15 pound tip I gave at the end. One pettiness deserves another?

My mum and dad are receiving meals delivered by “take a break”. I can’t speak highly enough and thank them for what they offer. Obliging and caring. Delivered hot and the previous crockery picked up. My mum is used to cooking meals but she says how tasty and delicious their food is. Very important when you are not on your best form. The meals have fresh vegetables and certainly are a generous plate full. All the meals go down well. Thank you to the team and keep up this important service.
