Great new venture, that has been open about 4 months. I was served by the welcoming Izzie, and had two lovely black coffees and a flapjack. It's early days for the business, so just a small selection of cake at the moment. Plenty of parking, seating inside and out, and dog friendly. WiFi is available, too. As the business grows, it is listening to what customers want, and bacon sandwiches are on the 'to do' list. Cash only at the moment, so take some change. Well done, Izzie! Chris.

High Street, RowdeMy first visit to the Cross Keys and one of many to come. Participated in a chivelrous bout for the ages in the infamous premier pool league. Their tap water and ice is unrivalled and even better still, the owner and his family couldn't have made me feel more welcomed. Carvery is next...

42 The Market Place, DevizesFood was ok. Drinks were very disappointing and expensive. Cider was flat. Aperol Spritz wasn’t made correctly and for nearly £9 each they should be top notch. Less tonic water & more Prosecco, not just a token splash of Prosecco.

104 London RoadVisited the packhorse to meet a mate on a Friday after work. Pub was busy. Lots of happy people just enjoying the place. Log burner, dogs, pool, Guinness, snacks, great staff. Felt like a large, communal front room. People there for a birthday party all in fancy dress and singing. It was good. 4 stars only because the entrance is freezing cold and teeming with mould. That said, a lemon-scented marble entrance hall wouldn't fit at all. Glad I went and would definitely go back.
