Great new venture, that has been open about 4 months. I was served by the welcoming Izzie, and had two lovely black coffees and a flapjack. It's early days for the business, so just a small selection of cake at the moment. Plenty of parking, seating inside and out, and dog friendly. WiFi is available, too. As the business grows, it is listening to what customers want, and bacon sandwiches are on the 'to do' list. Cash only at the moment, so take some change. Well done, Izzie! Chris.

Nice beer garden. I didn't rate the inside much. It's a classic locals were the regulars prop up the bar so it's annoying trying to get served. There are others places I'd rather spend my time though if you're looking for "an everybody knows your name" place then this might suit you.

High Street, RowdeMy first visit to the Cross Keys and one of many to come. Participated in a chivelrous bout for the ages in the infamous premier pool league. Their tap water and ice is unrivalled and even better still, the owner and his family couldn't have made me feel more welcomed. Carvery is next...

189 Bullford RoadWhile on vacation with my family, we ended up here by accident, but the atmosphere and the people were so welcoming and the food was delicious home cooked comfort food. Even my very picky eater kids ate their meals.

1 North StreetStayed one night and had dinner too. Everything was excellent; a warm and friendly welcome on arrival, a lovely, well-appointed room, a first class meal in the evening and a very good breakfast the following morning. A quiet and relaxing place to stay in a picturesque village. Really couldn't fault anything and thoroughly recommend.
