Open Oven Pizza Co in Cornwall, Isles of Scilly

I know it sounds strange, but in my view these people make the best and most authentic pizzas in Cornwall, and at a reasonable price.....and yes they are at Cornwall Services near Roche ! I particularly like the vegi one.

We dined here a couple times last year, and pleased they are still here today. Excellent pizzas, served quickly and taste great. Hands down the best place to eat in the services, and likely further afield for Pizza - whilst we charge our EV. Personally recommend the Chicken Ranch which is loaded with toppings and cheese, but there is plenty more to choose from too. Great thin crust base too.

I don't normally have pizzas unless I am in Italy but I have to say the open oven pizza meets my high standard and that of an Italian restaurant

Stopped off for a Woodland Pizza - Very quickly prepared and served and as extremely tasty. Highly recommended - sad we didn't have the opportunity for another visit

I never thought anyone could produce a jacket potato as bad as this one. Under cooked , hard , cold and tasteless .Total disgusting crap. The whole lot went in the bin and the service was not much better. Won't be visiting again.

By far the worst pizza I've ever had! Soggy middle expensive and tasteless... No vegetarian so had to have Vegan massive yuk!

Pretty much some of the best pizza we've eaten! Havent tried any of the other stuff on offer admittedly, but the pizza is spot on. Favourite is the bbq chicken. Fairly quick service too, and of course freshly prepared, always a bonus! Proper job!

As a local I popped in to take my 2 year old to the indoor active. As I work in hospitality myself and it was a rainy day I knew it would be busy during holiday season but that’s no excuse for rubbish service. I ordered my lunch (no smile or welcome of any kind from the lady on the till) then got told my total payable....I hadn’t finished my order! Added another item and got told my new total... STILL hadn’t finished my order! No thank you or any sort of happy interaction, no smile, no upselling and certainly not a good impression welcoming anyone to Cornwall! I almost told her that if I was troubling her then I would go else where! Then when it came out, EVERYTHING was presented in takeaway containers/cups with plastic cutlery (had I known this I would not have ordered anything). The coffee were in biodegradable BUT I’d rather a reusable than any unnecessary waste! And to top it off, I ordered my son a dairy free baby chino which came out as cows milk. Luckily I suspected it was wrong as it was too white to be the soya I had been given so I tasted it before he had any. Do your staff not know about the 14 food groups and allergens???? The food was ok, probably the only positive. I shan’t go back after the shoddy service and the amount of waste that place must make! It’s a shame because we will be back for the indoor active as it’s such great value. Just won’t be eating at this venue again! Could do SOOOO much better!!!

As a pizza-holic this place is always a must when passing Cornwall Services! Always had good service and the pizzas are delicious! Plenty of toppings, great base, cooked to perfection and full of flavour – ticks all the boxes!

After playing on the climbing wall, the children were very hungry. We decided to eat at the Open Oven Pizza Co. Did not expect tooo much, just to satisfy hunger - but what a surprise! The pizzas were hot, fresh, ready quickly and delicious. The staff were informative and friendly despite it being a Saturday lunchtime. I cannot recommend this highly enought.

Feeling lazy we bought two pizzas to take home. We were dissapointed with the poor quality of pizza we would have been much better cooking a frozen pizza. We had a pizza from this location when it first opened and loved it. We tried to eat here again but high winds had it closed so we were happy to see it open. We ended up being very dissapointed.

After our Indoor Activity we decided to have Pizza's. These Pizza's were most delicious. Staff were very friendly. I had the Meaty Pizza and my husband the full Cornish. My daughters friend had the Belgian Waffles with Chocolate sauce. Most delicious.

Best pizza I've had in a long time. And quick too! You can eat in the large seating area or while you are sat watching the kids in the soft play area.

The title says it all. The pizza here is better than you'll find in a lot of restaurants. I had the antipasti pizza, really enjoyed it. Can't wait to go back!

On way back from Wheal Martyn to Padstow consulted Trip Advisor found rave reviews for the freshest pizza in, of all places, a service area. Decided to try and hey it's true. Gloriously thin hot fresh pizza tasty and scrummy. Quick and friendly staff. Sorry no photos too delicious to wait.

Fast, tasty, gluten free pizza, freshly made by friendly staff. Didn't expect this sort of quality in a service station. If you needed another excuse to visit Cornwall, this is it! Would happily take a detour to call in here for a pizza.

WOW! After hours on the road, this was a perfect find! ordered my daughter a child's pizza. For a little over £5; a pizza, fresh fruit, a carton of juice and a toy plane. Great, friendly service; if you're passing this place, i certainly recommend!

I've stopped here for pizza many times! The staff are always helpful and friendly... The gluten free pizza actually tastes like pizza! That's a 1st! Keen to return to top up my loyalty card too :) keep up the great work guys!

How unexpected! Pull over at Cornwall Services and you can watch your pizza being baked before your eyes. The toppings are adventurous and well-considered, the dough is great (and gluten-free) and the oven turns out incredibly tasty pizzas. Utterly unexpected - absolutely fabulous.

Fastest pizza in the south west! Great texture, and lovely toppings! The staff were really friendly too!

Open Oven Pizza Co. is a pizza counter in the Cornwall Victoria motorway services building. This is easily one of the best pizzas I have had in a long time, far better than many of the tourist restaurants both in the UK and on the continent. Fresh pizzas take some 5 minutes to be made and baked. Free wifi available, ask at Costas.

A very unique experience, watching pizzas made fresh In front of you by friendly smiling staff. A very pleasurable experience!
