Food was all spicy even though it says the food had no spice my twins who both have autism and both can’t eat spice noodles were spicy egg fried rice was spicy the crispy chicken was soft no well cooked and spicy and sweet and sour chicken was more like a curry had no crunch and was covered in chilli seeds neither of my kids would touch there’s as would meek them ill as can’t tolerate spice mine was only half eaten as spice was unbearable chicken was rant and all I could taste was chilli seeds. My daughters had mild spice supposedly but again she hardly ate any of hers as eyes were watering eyes were stinging and mouth was on fire and cost me £36.00 with delivery. Tried to report to Uber eats where I made purchase and was told I couldn’t have some sort of refund also tried ringing shop itself but no answer. Absolutely disgusted with this place no wonder why they don’t have any reviews because the food is shocking do not eat here !!!

I enjoyed my takeaway from Oodles in the Foodcourt. I always walk by, so I decided it was about time I gave it a go. The Foodcourt is an off-putting sort of place, because the info outside is difficult to decode. I had to look it up online to get a fix on the nature of the businesses it contains. Oodles occupies one counter. The menus are laid out in a way that was difficult to get a grasp of, which put me under pressure being the only customer. For the box I came out with, I had to select two bases, a main, and a dry. (I think.) The food was dug out of various containers like at a school dinners canteen, and then all squashed together into a waxed cardboard box. But to be fair it cost only £8.45, so it's not going to be Michelin Star. Yes, it was lukewarm; but it was surprisingly tasty for a box of stodge. The contents I'd chosen were black bean sauce chicken, crispy veg, chips, and rice. Plenty of flavour from the sauce. (Of course, chips and rice don't go together, but that was my fault: I sort of panicked when I was choosing.)

The flavours and spice, added with the variety and choices, make Oodles and must-go place. So underrated. More people need to try this out and I am certain you will be returning.

This restaurant offers excellent value for your money. We enjoyed the carvery on Sunday, and although it was quite busy, the service was outstanding as always. There was a bit of a queue for the carvery, and they could benefit from having an additional chef to slice the meat, like other Toby Carvery locations we've visited. However, overall, the food was fantastic and the prices were very reasonable.

for what it is a chinese takeaway it is as good as what you can expect, freshly cooked for collection and resonable prices.

Favourite Chinese takeaway in Reading. Love the dumplings and they are really generous with meat in their dishes.
