Oodles Leicester Granby in Leicester

I visited Oodles Wok on the Wednesday 27th 2024 in the evening. The place was quiet with one or two customers dining inside, and the place has plenty of seating. Went to the ordering area and ordered the ‘create your own’ (large size). Which the meal consisted of Udon Noodles, Spicy Chips, Manchurian Chicken and Crispy Chicken. The meal comes with a drink so I choose the coke. The meal was good but I found the Spicy Chips in the meal too spicy for me, so next time I will order something a little mild. After the meal I discovered that this place had a dedicated wash basin area down some flight of steps in which I washed my hands, which was very thoughtful of them. So its a 10 out of 10 for me. 👍

This is a very good restaurant and I would definitely recommend this for people who like Chinese food

First time at Oodles really enjoyed our take out.

Frost clings to every surface, transforming the mundane into a shimmering, icy tableau. Even your breath feels like a cloud of tiny ice crystals as you exhale into the crisp air.

Fast, easy and efficient customer service, can see food being prepared, smells as lovely as it tastes!

Ordered noodles for takeaway and paid an extra 10p for a bag, but the bag ripped, and my entire meal ended up on the floor—along with my clothes and handbag. I didn’t know what to do. Tried calling the restaurant 5–6 times before someone finally picked up, only to be told it was my fault. I could hear the manager and a team member discussing it in the background. The staff member said they use the same bags for all customers, so it wasn’t their fault—but I paid for my bag, so I should have received a better one. Ended up with ruined food, dirty clothes, and a messy handbag. So annoying!

Food delicious _ no tap water, essential I feel with spicy food. No hot drinks. Just cans full of processed artificial rubbish for £2. Would have been 5* for food if tap water available

Ordered box with Manchurian and teriyaki. So bland taste and dry chicken. Your food had been on point all this time. Had to throw away most of it.

I was really surprised by level of service we received. One of drinks was warm, even though I opened it they changed it for us. Lots of places would have just said its opened now, so I rate them for that. The food is always good and it’s fresh, would recommend the crispy chicken with spicy chips and the Malaysian chicken with egg fried rice.

The food!!!😋 I can't find your restaurant in Manchester. My friend and I went to the address listed on Google, but we found a different Chinese restaurant there.

Called to place an order and a lady with an Asian accent answered and said they’re not taking orders over the phone. I then drove all the way to Granby street with all the ongoing road works and got in the store for 10:45. The lady immediately refused to take my order and said last order was 10:40 even though they close at 11pm. I then asked for her name and she put the phone down on me!!! Terrible service and no apology, won’t be using this store again!!!

One of my favourite places to eat. I've been ordering from here for well over 10 years now! However I'm ordering from here less and less because you have to have one saucy and one dry main per box. I don't like a lot of the saucy options, and other competitors have flexibility to pick 2 dry options. I'd order from here much more if I could do that.

The service and food is 10/10 I always recommend this place to my friends and my family and they also have enjoyed this place as well. I definitely recommend this place to anyone who enjoys noodles.
