Chops were not sizzling. Momos had only salt and garam masala. Gorkha curry had big chunks of garlic. No flavours at all. Rubbish food. Krutika was very good. Quite understanding but obviously she couldn't help much with the food. Lovely place, good atmosphere but not a place for good food.

I’ve eaten here three times now - lunch, lunch dinner. I eat curry at least 3 times a week and the Nepali Fish Curry is one of the best I’ve ever had. It was astonishingly good. Service good, music good. Not the cheapest (far from expensive mind) - but excellent value either way. Only slightest complaint was that the red sauce with my popadoms was, without warning, probably the hottest thing I’ve ever eaten. (Possibly a little minimalist and cold if out for a cosy intimate date - but you can’t be everything to everybody.)

Brilliant experience celebrating a birthday here. Very good service. The team were really friendly and helped us with plates and cutlery for the cake we brought out too. The food was incredible as well.

Food was lovely starter had a bit of a kick. Order Milk with your popadoms. Wednesday night. Atmosphere was okay, would be very on weekend. Waitress was very nice and got everything correct

While I was optimistic about this place, mainly due to the reviews. I have to say I was terribly disappointed. When we arrived, we was seated in a nice booth just between the main screen and the bar. The lady brought us menus after 10 mins and then returned 15 mins later to take drinks order. I get it was busy, but surely they could have got us drinks quicker than 25 mins. Luckily, we ordered our food when they took the drinks order. Otherwise, I would still be there. Poppadoms took 20 mins to come. They were stale. I should have sent them back, but we were now 45 mins in and thought, let's put up with it for now. Food came about half an hour after the poppadoms, and chilli chips were very spicey. I have tried most of the India desi pubs around Leicester and have to say these was ridiculous. The sizzler was tasty enough but was not to the standards of say Broadway or Jungle Club. Once starters was done we decided to order our mains. We had to wait nearly an hour and half for our mains, bare in mind the place is empty at this stage. We get our mains at 10.20pm, who on earth wants to eat a large meal at that time. I did ask the waitress twice and she said we are working on it and we had a large order from another table, there was one other table with a group of ladies on it and they had already eaten and was finishing up! Mains came, butter chicken was tasty and was made for the Indian pallet which is great because I don't like the sweet ones. Lamb Kadai was tasty enough along with the naans. When the food bill came there was a service charge on the bill which I asked does the staff get this and I was told no. They do get the cash tips thou. To top it all off they had the football on so loud we could not hear each other talk, don't get me wrong I love my footie but people need to chat also. Overall food was ok with slight issues with some items, services eas terrible despite the staff being polite, atmosphere would have been ten times better if u didn't try to make people deaf. Would only return if I had reason to otherwise I would go Broadway, Jungle Club or Sports Lounge.

Amazing experience yet again! Been coming here for the last 2 years and Karan’s service is superb every time. Highly recommend here, great food, brilliant atmosphere and friendly prompt service!

This place is brilliant. Harjoat - he is one hellava bartender. He is amazing with customers, and especially he kept me and my friends entertained. Also, Karan, he is a brilliant waiter, and kept us update with food service times and had a laugh with us. Will definitely recommend this place to everyone, whether friends, family or a date night. Don’t waste your money here for food! I don’t usually write reviews but wanted to share this: - mixed grill was totally cold - had to be sent back and then it took ages to come again - naan was all under cooked and tasted very doughy - rice just never turned up and we had to keep asking for it (they eventually bought it after asking 5 times but by then our other food had gone cold!) - tarka daar had no salt and i had to go to the bar and ask for salt as the waitress was nowhere to be found - ordered 2 portions of fish and chips for the children, one turned up, the other didn’t and we had to keep asking for it - chicken nuggets were undercooked - child had a stomach ache after. Overall the quality of food is very mediocre for the price you are paying. We asked to speak to the owners and they weren’t there. Asked if we could speak to the Manager and he didn’t bother coming. Looks like they don’t really care. Very busy over Diwali and the staff seemed quite stretched and overwhelmed. Lots of great restaurants in Leicester, sadly this isn’t one of them! Fine if you want to go for a drink - bar area is nice and ambience is lively but that’s about it. Sad that we don’t enjoy what was supposed to be a nice family meal during Diwali.

Food is average. Veg sizzler was spicy but nice. Main course was not to the expectations. Also had to pay 50p per container if you do a takeaway of any leftovers, which I think was a bit unfair. Staff was very helpful and friendly

Extremely poor service Waited over 45 minutes for a table l, finally got seated then received no menu until I had to ask No one took my order, so spoke to the so called boss (Savan) who didn't care and just shrugged his shoulders Ended up walking out and went to a restaurant that actually gave us attention and served us straight away Very very poor.

Ordered from here few times and food was spot on, very nice but recent order I placed had Veg sizzler and non Veg sizzler which were both put together in one bag vertically that leg to cross contamination of oil. Not good for vegetarians. Food containers should be upright and separate bags for Vegetarians. Although can’t criticise the food as it was very nice.

Booked the private directors lounge for a gathering recently. Very helpful via emails and placed pre orders with names 24 hours beforehand as requested by the team to ensure we have a smooth service. The starters came out all fine however the mains were a mess.. considering we pre ordered they had some mains arrive early for people and others not at all. Or one dish came out but the naan was served by the time the curry went cold... so the whole thing was a bit of a mess. That being said, the waiter knew and he totally understood feedback and took it on really well. We took off the items that were late or didnt turn up at all which i thought was fair. Good deco/good food - they just need to work on plan and execution.

Great atmosphere, high quality tasty food, and staff very accommodating.

We celebrated my daughter’s 10th birthday here and the management/staff were extremely accommodating. They have recently changed the menu and chef. I have to say both the starters and mains were excellent. We had a party of 15 and everything came out together and on time. Everyone commented on how good the food was. We were there the night the boxing was on and the atmosphere was brilliant. Our guests loved the evening and that in my opinion was down to the venue, food, atmosphere and great service👏

Since coming back from turkey , I’ve been craving good old traditional Indian food, something most Indians can relate to when returning home. I’ve already eaten here four times since being back , I know bad right 🤣🤣, and I have to say, this place delivers the best food by far! The new Indian chef’s Gurkha curry, blended with authentic Indian flavors, is simply out of this world. No restaurant in Leicester even comes close to this level of taste. The naan bread was so soft and fluffy last night it felt like I was indulging in a delicious cake. Every bite was beautiful. The food was incredibly fresh, bursting with flavor, and a true delight. It’s not the same run-of-the-mill taste you get in most Indian pubs and restaurants around Leicester—it’s on another level. I highly recommend this place to anyone who appreciates real, traditional Indian cooking!

I have been going to this restaurant since the opening and was always happy with food and drinks. Yesterday I have noticed that the beer is so water down that I ordered a bottled beer instead, also the food wasn’t as it always was but they have changed it straight away. I won’t be coming again, very disappointed as for the prices the quality of food and drink should be top level

Good food but I am a bit disappointed that a waiter or chef comes up to us just as we are about to order our main meal and gives us a set menu. I thought this was a bit unprofessional and that they wanted to get rid of us because of a two hour slot due to the football.

Food was good, service was average - great atmosphere, big screens, open kitchen area and nice ambience.

Unfortunately no option for zero stars! Food served cold, naans tasted like they were from a packet, don’t expect any customer service because staff are very poorly trained and they add service charge to the bill! Having it removed should be the customers prerogative and not their entitlement! Avoid at all costs. Lots of other much better places in Leicester for curry and watching football.

Great selection of dishes, fusion dishes were spot on, Seekh Kebab Bao and Chicken & Kheema curry. Nice vibe and great place to watch the footy too.

Good atmosphere, service is incredibly slow and poor. We arrived at 7.30pm. Drinks took over 25/30 mins. Starters were OK. Mains order was taken, we followed up after 40 mins and they hadn't actually put the order through so we left without having dinner. Suggest additional training and investment in more staff required.

I’ve eaten here a few times now. Twice before they got rid of an awful manager and once after and it was obvious who the weak link was. The first couple of times, service was just a mess. The wrong orders coming to the table, missing items & very slow service getting drinks. Since they’ve got a new manager; what a difference! The food is really great. I’ve spent time in India and it’s somewhat authentic, but tweaked to fit a more western palette. Spicy, full of flavour & always piping hot. They’re generous with portions and side sauces & dips. I took my dad, who has a very high standard for Indian food and he was stoked, even happier when the bill came as it’s reasonably priced. Atmosphere is always good as its open plan and doubles as a bar and sports lounge. It ALMOST got five stars, but twice I’ve ordered takeaway and the Ubereats app doesn’t recognise between prawn biriyani and prawn curry and twice I’ve received a curry when I ordered a biriyani. Hopefully this improvement continues and I’ll be frequently visiting.

Situated on an industrial estate. It's a little difficult to find. Plenty of parking. Can't really work out what this place is...is it a gym ? A football centre or restaurant? Food is average, and the cocktails looked better than they tasted.

This definitely should be renamed “What a Mess” Second time I’ve been here during boxing and it was dreadful. We waiting almost 40mins for some drinks, most of the time 30mins, They just don’t care and actually have no idea what they’re doing. We asked for a food bill and they sent the wrong one. (The wrong bill was quarter of our actual bill, we kindly told them it’s the wrong one. We could’ve got away with a cheaper bill but we are not like this) Extra drinks added to our bill, some drinks missing. The food is below average, wings are awful. We sent them back got another portion and it was still awful. They use the same sauce for Chilli chicken and chilli prawns. (Why do restaurants do this). The kebabs were cold and the portions are tiny for the money you pay. There is no excuse for this kind of service, even if it was busier than usual. Get more staff, waiting that long for drinks is stupid. Won’t be coming back. Ps I’ve given them 5* for the what a goal complex and their rascal ranch soft play.

Mixed grill was cold, sent it back to reheat. Meat was not fresh. Mains were ok. Cocktails were nothing special. Atmosphere was a little quiet then picked up when many gym guys came in.

As we explored a variety of restaurants in Leicester but the atmosphere we got along with quality service and hospitality and super tasty food which “JUST LIKE WOWWW “ is in “WHAT A SHOT “. A hidden gem. Food cooked to perfection, service was spot on and the atmosphere was awesome. Can't fault this place except for no Cobra! Nevertheless, I would recommend this place and will definitely be going regularly.

I very rarely write reviews but I felt compelled as the service given by Alex was and is exceptional, he is an absolute asset to the establishment. I had a private party at the venue and Alex went absolutely above and beyond to making my family and I have the most memorable time. Alex wasn’t phased by having to speak to multiple people that were organising the event, any requests made he would make sure they were dealt with, he made everything feel so effortless and enjoyable. On the day he made sure everything went smoothly, made sure he gave us the best options and made suggestions that would be best for ourselves and our guests. Even a month on I felt I could contact Alex in regards to my event and still he goes above and beyond to help in anyway. It was such a joy having Alex part of my celebrations, he is so kind, considerate and respectful. Just an absolute pleasure to work with, fun easy to get along with guy. I honestly don’t think the experience would have been this exceptional if Alex hadn’t been part of the planning and execution. In regards to the venue, it is stunning and i’m so glad I celebrated such a milestone here. My guests had nothing but amazing things to say from the food to the venue and atmosphere. The food was out of this world as you can tell my experience was amazing and hope to celebrate any special milestones here again. (With the help of Alex of course) Thank you

Never mind what a shot! What a fantastic place to eat! We had starters and mains, all reasonably priced and big portions! The drinks were also priced reasonably. Will certainly be going back. For 6 adults and two children the bill came to £282 (that included a £30 tip)

We had a fantastic experience whilst dining this evening. Myself and 2 friends saw that the restaurant had won best new restaurant and decided to give it a try and we’re certainly glad we did!! All the staff who were involved in serving us were fantastic! Particularly Parth and the young lady who’s name we didn’t get. Both were very attentive, super friendly and helpful. Parth was particularly helpful whilst ordering, making sure that we did not order more food than we needed and making recommendations for food. We enjoyed that we were able to order our starters first, giving us chance to think about our mains and there was no pressure at all. When the food arrived, it was sensational! Among the best Indian food that we had ever eaten and the portion sizes were very generous. We will definitely be returning in the new year. Thanks to all involved for a very pleasurable dining experience.

Booked a table online to be told there was no space in the restaurant when we got there. We were placed in the "social area" on high tables which were extremely wobbly. Props to the waiter Parth who noticed our discomfort and did everything he could to make the evening enjoyable. Food was decent and service was great from Parth, just would have been nice to sit at a regular table instead of high chairs that kept sinking.
