Lovely strong tea and beans on toast.

I used go too the original cafe pickwicks in Haymarket centre for cappuccino and sweet or a big wedge of lemon meringue fit for sharing for two person in them days and fudge brownie sundae for two persons too eat with my dad and myself only and bumped into carol wright and dand her daughter with my dad and myself only and it was cleaned and tidy too and when my took poorly I did not go back any more and lost contact with all the Lacey's and the Wright family after that and my mum uses write too Sonia Simpson and when I used too go Sainsbury's at fosse park with Stephen Clarke from Loughborough on my phone and I used see Alan wright who lives in caravan some where near burgage common that area and now lost touch in all the family now off the Wright family forever and Karen and Salah forever now

Me and my partner adore this little gem. I cant eat much of the menu but everytime I have been it has gotten my order perfectly and my partner who normally struggles to finish meals gets it all down him. Recommended to some friends and they enjoyed it too.

Went in the dining room today and the state of the tea towels they were black absolutely disgusting, plus staff carry teatowels on there shoulder ,went in a couple of weeks ago and caught one off the staff wiping her nose on the teatowel going to ring health and safety up

Lovely place, staff friendly and make a lovely coffee. Very good prices.

AVOID AT ALL COST IF YOU DON'T WANT TO BE BLAMED FOR THEIR MISTAKES!!! The food was average at best, the service was some of the worst even for a individual cafes. After waiting 45 mins for a couple of breakfast I asked how long the food would be and the girl scurried off to the kitchen to ask only to come back to say they are just doing it. No apologies nothing just a "They're just doing it" When the food finally came 10 mins later I decided to ask for the manager who came over and again no apologies until this was voiced, he did everything to make excuses for why every table after us had been served their breakfasts and other foods. Blaming other customers for being hardwork and even calling one out for being special needs. Dropping the toast and then burning the next round ment that it didn't come till after myself and my friend had all but finished our food too. You would like alittle more care would have gone into the second round knowing the customer was already unhappy. Customer service clearly isn't a thought never mind something they care about! Won't be back anytime soon and would advice others to take their money to other local businesses that treat their customers with alittle respect. And to the reply from the owner. Thank you for proving me right you lied in your reply and trying to make it the customers fault believe me I won't be back and will advise everyone I meet to do the same!

Haven't been for years,popped in while in town.service good and friendly very clean and breakfast was good not too much but it filled the gap.lovely.would recommend. Did want to ask where they got the glass ripple cups from 😁.

After placing an order for a small breakfast (1 sausage, bacon, beans and 2 slices of toast), I was disappointed not to have received it within 30 minute especially as there were just 24 other people seated (many already eating) and only about 6 other people coming in during that 30 minutes (half of which just for drinks). The 6 staff (a ratio of 1 staff to 4 customers) did provide me with my hot drink within a couple of minutes, but after half an hour I had drank it all otherwise it would have been cold. When enquiring after my meal after the 30 minutes, I was told that they were being prepared in order and mine would be 'a couple of minutes'. It did not arrive after that couple of minutes and I had to leave to catch my bus. I cannot believe that it takes more than half and hour to prepare such a simple meal.

Took almost an hour for the food when they have got almost 5 staff behind the counter. I won’t be eating there again !!

Thank you very much for catering for the group of kids earlier today. They all enjoyed their meal and cleared their plates! Lovely atmosphere and nothing was too much trouble. Hope we didn't cause too much disruption. Would definitely return (with less children) and recommended to others. Thank you

Nice place to grab a snack or a hot meal when out shopping, limited menu but understandable so it's not a restaurant as such. Had run out of jacket potato and it was only 12.45pm.i personally felt a little more attention to cleaning, tables did not appear to have been clean properly, gains of salt or suger on the table, nothing major, condiment bottle was sticky, bits of paper from sugar packets under the table, friendly staff, value for money. Would still go again to this place.

You can usually judge a good breakfast by the quality of the sausages. But their breakfast is GREAT.

Went in for a take away Cob and drink Staff was lovely Service was quick Bacon Cob I had kept warm really well in take out bag You got 3 slices of bacon in a lovely soft bap I've also had a breakfast there before and it was hot when came out and got money worth

Got a very yummy hot chocolate topped with Easter bunny marshmallows and chocolate. Really nice staff too ❤️. Little hard to find but it next to the upstairs entrance to primark. Definitely work the 10 min it took me to find it.

Went into the Dining Room for breakfast I had the healthy breakfast. It was amazing freshly cooked lovely and hot with a mug if tea. Lovely staff will definitely be going again.

Nice place this. Food looked good but I didn't eat that day. Did have to ask them to reheat my coffee which they promptly with a smile.

Friendly staff. Came here with my mum this morning had a cooked breakfast and latte was absolutely beautiful. Meaty sausages and a perfect size bacon. If I could rate this place out of 100 I would.

I met my friend here, she was there earlier, she was eating toast and drinking tea. I just had a tea.

Had a lovely breakfast medium £5.50; egg,mushrooms,beans 1sausage, 1bacon, 1slice if toast tomatoes, mini has browns. The bacon was not streaky full piece of back bacon lovely quality. The dining room is a lovely place to eat. It's clean, the staff are very friendly & the food is really yummy. I would recommend it to everyone to at least try it.

This place has not been so busy since the old owners of pickwicks were in charge. I had a lovely baked potato with cheese and beans and a tea. If I wasn't going to work after I would have have a dessert as well. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Card payments.

Very nice home cooked food, scones are amazing

Went 9am on a Monday, not very busy so quick service. Had bacon and egg roll, cooked well. They will change the set choices of sandwiches, if you ask. Would recommend.

Very nice quiet place but staff very friendly.

This was the third time we visited and the bar keeper remember us. And service was excellent.

Very nice cafe feels and looks very clean with excellent breakfast at a reasonable price.

Had to wait a lot longer for food we were told it would be, plus me and my friend didn't get our meal the three others in the party had actually finished their's, they had forgotten ours when It finally arrived it was undercooked in fact it wasn't edible won't be going there again that's for sure.

Lovely place. Friendly staff and food was excellent, served piping hot and very tasty. My husband and I don't often come into the city but with the promise of lunch here I think we will be making it a weekly visit.

The first thing you notice is that you are entering a welcoming environment. The Dining Room food is excellent and the staff are friendly and helpful. I fully recommend this eaterie and suggest you try it.

Four of us were staying at the Travelodge Haymarket Leicester for three nights and wanted a good place for breakfast each morning. The Dining Room fitted the bill perfectly. We could get all we wanted from toast to a full english. They also did great sandwiches. The food was great and the staff very friendly. Definitely recommend.

Lovely little cafe, owners are very nice and friendly, always pop in when I'm in town, food is delicious, homemade cakes, brilliant portion sizes highly recommend this place.

Met my friends here for lunch to day has it was my sister's birthday. We meet here often the staff are very friendly and go out the way for us. Thankyou we had a lovely lunch. Look forward to coming back. 😊🥰

Great place!! So is the cod & chips🤣🤣 It's good for food at reasonable prices, Served by nice people. I've been twice, & both visits have been good. PS.. If you're one of the minority of devout veggies or vegans and want/need/feel the need to moan about food in 'non-specified veggie or vegan establishments, may I politely suggest you eat at home?🙄 That way you'll enjoy the experience a little bit more..

So-so atmosphere...Not as lovely as the other Vegan eateries in the city even though the staff are friendly and accommodate to Vegans in regards to the Veggie breakfast; don't be influenced by Priya Tailor's Facebook post on the Leicester Vegetarian & Vegan group ('Prana café', Luisa's healthy café' and various restaurants on Belgrave road are way more worthwhile in atmosphere and food quality definitely in regards to Prana café; have yet to try Luisa's food.... I like 'Dakshins' Masala Dosa dish )

Myself and my friend visited the dining room 1 day last week and I have to say if ever you need a break from shopping this is the place to go very friendly staff and helpful you are made to feel welcome decor is great and has been done up lovely definitely visit here again

Had an amazing meal with some of the most incredible people and will be coming back as often as I can. I would recommend that if you love having a home style cooking then this is definately the place to come.

New cafe in the Haymarket shopping centre. Place has been done up nice. Friendly staff. I had cheeseburger & chips & my boyfriend had a fish finger sandwich. Both were lovely. Nice milkshakes too. See you again soon.
