We had a voucher to eat here as a Christmas present. Our waitress was lovely and the food was good. We are both vegan so there was very little choice but what we had was good. Apart from the vegan dessert. The exotic fruit salad dessert was dreadful! There was one blueberry between us and mainly grapes and melon with a couple of pieces of pineapple! Really not very exotic at all. This was such a shame as the rest of the meal was good.

Delicious special food and great service. The ambiance of the place was lovely. The speed of service was nice and relaxed allowing us to really enjoy the food. Gonsalo came to talk to us to ensure that everything was to our liking and this made us feel like valued customers.

Had Travelzoo voucher for Chistmas 3 course menu We had pate and beetroot soaked smoked salmon which were a good portion and tasty. I had beef which was a good size and tasty and filling, my wife had the turkey which was tasty and a good portion. The cheesecake was lovely, we also had a glass of sparking wine included. The staff were very helpful and attentive. Lovely place to eat surroundings were pleasant and clean.

Disappointing afternoon tea. Scones dry and hard and sandwiches not fresh. No refills offered, definitely not value for money. Not the quality you would expect from a 5 star Hotel. Have had afternoon tea at several other establishments and this was by far the worst. The only positive was the hostess Olena who was friendly and hospitable.

Visited mid afternoon for a late lunch. Very pleasant surroundings, staff were welcoming. Felt that there was a good range of food to suit different appetites. Dessert was delicious! The afternoon teas looked lovely.

1 Horse Guardsman very formal and the hose was great i got the chance to stoke it and talk to the guard they take it in turns to guard the area we were impressed with them

Food is exquisite, the front of house team were wonderfully present and knew their menu inside out. Tried a few of chefs recommended dishes and easy to see why - all were delicious.

Another great free thing to see in London. The strip along Whitehall is just full of history and pomp And ceremony

This was my 4th visit to this restaurant set in the fantastic Royal Horseguard in London. The setting is very warm and pleasant,staff very welcoming and the food so well presented and of high quality. My next visit can't come soon enough!!

Este es un lugar fascinante para visitar y es accesible desde la parte trasera después de pasear por el lago pasado después de visitar el Palacio de Buckingham. Had afternoon tea whilst staying at the Royal Horseguards it was perfect. Lovely finger sandwiches, scones with fresh cream, delicate and tasty cakes. The food was good and the service excellent.

Bought a voucher from wowcher for three courses for 2pax and took my friend. First time in restaurant and will definitely consider going back . Great attentive service, nice well cooked and beautiful modern British food food (try the steak...highly recommended ) . For a nice treat, consider this restaurant .

Si bien es una atracción que te hace sentirte realmente en Londres, creo que es algo que debiera de modernizarse, ya que el sufrimiento animal si es algo que debe quedar atrás, como muchas otras cosas que han dejado en el pasado los Ingleses, en fin, sirve para tener una buena foto de recuerdo.

Es un buen restaurante para comer y disfrutar de bebidas. El menú es bastante caro, pero está cerca de Palacio de Buckingham, fácilmente accesibles si estás visitando el palacio. Fuimos allí en la tarde para el almuerzo después de ver el Palacio de Buckingham. Intentamos sándwiches que eran buenas.

Feels special from the start - I came here for a wedding anniversary with my husband and found it faultless. Came back with the girls for a night out and it did not disappoint. The food is really good and the portions adequate the service...

Two of us went to celebrate a birthday. We were running quite late with traffic and then we couldn't find the hotel, nor parking! The hotel is actually on Whitehall Court, in a little street behind Whitehall. Anyway, that said, it was not a problem and we were greeted very nicely and were given a nice table. The restaurant was quite buzzy and the waiters/waitresses were all really nice. Our food was also very good, although somewhat small in portion. The desserts especially were delicious. We were really pleased that my partner's birthday was acknowledged with a chocolate board and candle. Well done to our sweet waitress. This is a lovely hotel and restaurant and going by our experience, I can really recommend it.

Food was ok but the service was terrible. We were given inferior service, that is largely ignored as we were using a TravelZoo voucher.

I brought my wife here to celebrate our third anniversary. The starter and main were excellent, we both enjoyed our choices of scallops, duck, rabbit and beef. The dessert was more of a let down after the high standard of the other courses. There is a very high attention to detail in the presentation and balance of flavours that is really to be experienced. I would definitely say that you will need to order a side for the main as the portions do not change throughout. The portions were more proportioned to a seven course menu than a three course. We only realized this when our main was brought to us but we knew that there was no point in ordering a side as we would not have received it until after our dessert. When arriving the waiter asked to see my wife's taste card. He made an issue over the fact that it was on her app and not a physical card. He tried to say that we could not do the taste card deal without a physical card which is of course a loud of bull.At this point I could see the disappointment in my wife's face and that she was turning to leave. It was only because of my insistence and a threat to leave that he EVENTUALLY took a pen and wrote down the details of the card. Was that difficult? Did I need to stand there and push him to perform the most obvious and basic of tasks? I'm not sure if he was trying to put us in a difficult situation in hopes that we would give in and dine without the taste card deal, make a point that he doesn't like taste card users or if he was just being a lazy oaf... Let's be clear here: taste card, travelzoo etc all bring in more customers that are looking for an experience at a reasonable price and I'm happy to say that I am one of those. However, if I feel I'm getting a good deal and the service is pleasant, I often order more sides, drinks etc BECAUSE im getting a good deal. Now if you don't want this type of client then don't do business with those companies! It was obvious to both of us that we did not get an equal service to the other customers. The waiter did not clean the table in between courses or put the napkin in our laps like they did for the other diners. So if you don't want taste card users then don't invite them! Otherwise just get on with doing your job in making us feel welcome and leave the decisions to management! So the silver haired fool who welcomed (?) us really spoiled the experience for me (I didn't care to notice his name but my wife tells me it was Alphonso) but the rest of the staff were brilliant- Roy who served us and the waiters assistant were excellent and down to earth. Thankfully they saved it for my wife. So overall the food was great, the service was good although slow, apart from one individual who really let the side down. Not at all worth paying full price for and if you want pleasant staff guaranteed then go elsewhere.

We visited OneTwentyOneTwo via a London-Restaurant-Festival deal. The food was very good and our waiter was very helpful and service-minded. However, this is not a place for young couples. This no-ambience/lobby feeling was not romantic at all. And the tables/chairs were uncomfortable. Moreover when leaving, my girlfriend was presented a jacket that did not belong to her, before finding her £400 coat just laying at a random chair, with no explanation or apologies from the staff. So, we are not coming back, maybe but then after we are around 60 years old..

We visites the restaurant within the Royal Horseguards hotel st Whitehall for lunch with friends. It wasnt overally busy when we arrived but did get busier mid afternoon. The service was great but discrete and the food was lovely. It was a real feast for the eyes and very light, which was great. Thoroughly recommend it!

This was my wife and I's 3rd visit to the 1212 this year and again it did not disappoint. The menu was varied and each course was presented very well and tasted superb. The service from the restaurant staff was 1st class as usual. We definitely hope to return very soon.

We had the tasting menu on a Travelzoo voucher but added the wine package as buying by the bottle was ridiculously expensive. The food and wine together were good value. The food was well presented, with helpful service from our waitress Anna. We particularly liked the ambience of this hotel restaurant.

We ate at this restaurant after a tour of Buckingham Palace using a travelzoo voucher for the Tasting Menu.The food & service were excellent. My only grip is the price of the wine - nothing less than £7 for a 125ml glass!
