O'Neill's Worcester in Worcester

I brought friends and family (about 30 of us) for a birthday buffet on Saturday afternoon and to watch the rugby. I waw, we were overwhelmed by the quality and quantity of the food. It was laid out beautifully and was extremely tasty and fulfilling. In addition the friendliness and efficiency of the staff was enormous. I would recommend O'Neiels to anyone with a similar occassion

Went in to watch the football for 1230. Sat in the empty side of the bar. Manager refused to change the tele so we could watch the football although the rugby did not start until 215pm. Not sure why couldn’t do this to keep customers in. Lots came in asked and went elsewhere, as did we. When advertised as a sports bar, would be nice to be able to watch sport.

I love oneils, as long as you don't go on a big sports day as this is a sports bar, if you go on a normal day it's usually quiet, calm, and the food is always priced good and taste great, it's lovely on deliveroo too as they have a £10 meal deal, all round I enjoy them a lot x (again on a sports day it's rammed with men and busy as hell)

Booked a table for 7 with friends. We had a good time but the food wasn’t great and neither was the service. We ended up tidying our own plates and glasses.

Wonderful meal, Wonderful Staff, yes, I'm talking about you, Logan! Absolutely wonderful lad. He will go a long way in your company. The drinks were very reasonable and the meal, Excellent. Always meet family here for a meal when they’re visiting as they’re kid friendly! Food is always amazing, speedy service and our server Del was super friendly, helpful and chatty!

Lovely lunch at O’Neila with the most wonderful server, Del. We had the small plates option which we shared between us and was really nice, and the drinks have been flowing! Nice atmosphere, very reasonable prices and overall just a lovely atmosphere. Highly recommended and would come back for sure! Thank you Del

Came to watch the WSL with my daughter. Great friendly service from Del and Mel. Food was good, Guinness zero available which is always a bonus. A bit quiet so lacking atmosphere but not really an issue to moan about.

Came in the other night to watch football and have a few beers with my friends. The Guinness was truly delectable and they had a great range of IPA’s and Lagers available which was great for my fussy friends. The atmosphere was phenomenal, will definitely be my go to place for all sporting events!

Is closing at 10pm on a Tuesday a new thing? Your opening hours need updating if that's the case.... The Arsenal Newcastle game was still in extra time.... Not such a quiet night in Worcester either - The Alma and Imperial nearby were quite busy. Bar staff were lovely about it though, they seemed quite happy to be having an early night... Returned to The Imperial, the Guinness was lovely....

Booked a table for 10 people for 7pm for my brothers 18th birthday meal, got an email to say table has been booked had a note people who look under 25 bring ID that’s fine. We got there 6:45 went in and were turned away due to one person being under 18 ( he’s 15 ) weren’t even allowed in for food completely ruined the night weren’t told it had an age restriction on the website or when booking the table and at 6:45pm with a family group seems stupid. Ruined the whole night.

Called in here on the Spur of the moment. What a gem, the staff couldn’t do enough for us, the food was great and beer what excellent.

Shaun is incredibly tall. Jude is incredibly short. The chicken pie was incredibly good.

On arrival, we were shown to our table but we had an issue with the chairs and asked if we could change to a different table, staff were very accommodating and moved everything over for us. Can honestly say the staff were all very friendly and the food was pretty good to. We certainly be visiting again.

Horrified with our experience here. My partner sat down with our drinks and commented jokingly to us that the pint of Guinness wasn’t good. Out of nowhere a red headed, tattooed member of staff approached our table (having eavesdropped) and had the audacity to call my partner ‘rude.’ He politely explained that it was a private conversation and not a formal complaint. He was, for the second time, called ‘rude.’ She insisted she was being ‘nothing but friendly’ when we began to defend ourselves. If we had a genuine complaint, we would have spoken to the bar staff discreetly. This woman created a scene, embarrassed our entire party and threw entirely unprofessional accusations at a paying customer. Poor conduct.

As someone with a dairy intolerance it's rare that I have a selection of meals to eat. Worcester O'Neill's have a great range of options and the fish and chips was delicious! If you're in Worcester and fancy a bite to eat and a decent pint you won't be disappointed with O'Neill's.

Nice pub great place to go to watch the sport,beers are reasonably priced and the food is really good here, nice sports bar and somewhere I will vist again the next time a big match is on

Just been for lunch with my sister wasn’t expecting a lot as it’s very reasonable for the price but when the food came out the burger was cremated and completely inedible from the grill either being too high of a heat or not clean it tasted like pure charcoal (only knowing this because I’m a chef myself) I politely and as nicely as I could just asked if it could be replaced (not mentioning any of this) for something else, everything else on the plate was lovely and my sisters food was fine so I didn’t want a refund to which I had a very condescending reply about the fact it was cooked on a char grill that’s why it tasted like that and a very impolite waitress who then refused to come over to us at all for absolutely no reason we were nothing but lovely! working in catering myself I was completely shocked by the poor service and definitely won’t be returning which is a shame because the gent behind the bar was lovely and the drinks were quite nice. I don’t understand why they took it so personally these things happen and I just initially put it down to a mistake. Maybe she was having a bad day 🤷‍♀️ either way not a nice experience.

It's not often I venture into the town with my wife (we don't like crowds and she is disabled) but we were impressed with the service and the general care for people who have disabilities. The beer (Punk IPA and Madri and Guinness and Coors) wasn't bad either for a city centre pub

Polite friendly staff, front of house and kitchen. Took time to discuss menue relating to food allergies and communicated well with the kitchen. Chef came out to speak with us to check everything and informed us food would take longer due to preparing kitchen to prevent cross contamination. Table service was also excellent as they kept a check we were happy whilst waiting for food, making light conversations and drinks flowing.

After my partner and his friends ran a half marathon today, we really wanted somewhere to eat, have a drink and watch the F1. O’Neill’s had it all! The customer service was lovely and efficient. The food was really good; I was tempted to buy more. Drinks were spot on, just what we all needed. Every seat was near enough occupied and it’s children friendly too. Calm atmosphere. Thank you O’Neills!!

Food was great, staff lovely especially Jude who made our visit even better. Mega mix grill was to die for!

Decided to take advantage of the three plates for £15.75. Took ages to arrive and everything was cold, the halloumi fries were lukewarm at best, the Guinness dirty fries were not covered in sauce and didn’t have crispy onions and the bbq pulled oumph! Tacos were colder still. Very disappointing.

I had a beef burger and upgraded to curly fries. Both were very nice. Ordered via the app for table service which was efficient. I was disappointed with the portion size for my dessert though. I ordered the Vienetta which was nice, but it was only a very small portion, a bit of a rip off for the price! I expected a bigger portion for £5.25.

Fantastic pub. Really friendly staff. Great choice of drinks. The Guinness is absolutely superb. I have eaten here a few times and the food is always very good. The atmosphere and the staff really make this pub so friendly. Probably my favourite pub in Worcester and I definitely recommend it.

We have had a great lunch, the service from the very lovely bar person was excellent, she was extremely polite, very helpful, and pleasant chatting with her, overall was a good experience and will come back more often.

Good atmosphere, door staff were lovely and the music was great! I can't wait to come again, this will be a regular hang out for me and my friends.

I normally visit O'Neill's probably once a month very pleasant staff door staff great I have a lovely conversation with the bar staff and they always polite show me the right direction of other pubs I would recommend this to everyone under the food is absolutely wonderful

First time of trying out the menu in here, I was pleasantly surprised, and will definetly be back. Lots to choose from but ended up ordering the mix grill. The steak was was so tender and cooked to perfection. Chicken gammon & sausages were or so really nice accompanied by sides of skin on chips mushroom n peas. I look forward to trying out more things from their menu including cheese burger spring rolls and mac n cheese with bbq pulled pork!

The food and service all depends on who is working when you arrive. The last two visits have been very good to be fair. Food has been very good.

Absolutely brilliant food in a good location easy to find in Worcester. Food was good ordered the steak and a good selection of beers in tap. This pub is good for sports that are shown on the big screens Starff were friendly and I would definitely go back. Food and drinks were served quickly Not too pricey either

Came in for a quick bite and went for a steak. Cooked to perfection and had the macaroni cheese as a side which was delicious.😋 There was a tall lad with a moustache on the bar who was really helpful and approachable. Thank you all- I'll be visiting again soon!

i went here on the 10th of may for lunch with friends and family, i had a gammon doubled up wich was very good value for money and was incredibly tasty 9/10. The bar staff were immensely helpful and quick at bringing our food to us. Overall really fun experience would recommend. Would like to thank dan on the bar for helping and being so funny.

Dinner date with my friend couldn’t have been better! We had gone in with a voucher for 2 4 1 burgers and to be honest, I would’ve happily paid money for both of the burgers. The beef was juicy, the presentation was great and the food was hot. I assumed it was just normal pub grub and didn’t expect anything spectacular but I was honestly blown away. Our server was lovely, she ensured our drinks were topped up and our food was at its best standard. Didn’t get her name but I believe she was the duty manager on shift as she seemed to be training the other staff member who was on shift with her. Hats off to both of them for a a great experience.

My husband and I have had burgers all over the World and we can honestly say O’Neils in Worcester is the best! The staff are so friendly we always feel welcome.

Visited on a Wednesday evening. Relatively quiet - plenty of tables all clean and ready to sit at. Staff friendly and were served very quickly. Was lucky enough to stumble in during happy hour so got a couple of cheap pints of Madri! Food was lovely - I had the veggie burger and my partner the mixed grill. Food was hot and delicious and was brought out within 15minutes of ordering. Great value, great atmosphere, will definitely return
