Family get together, excellent quality food and service, could not fault it. Lovely atmosphere will be back. highly recommend for couples or family.

Found a black hair in my starter which has put my off going to this pub for food. I will not come here again and I do attend this pub occasionally. WILL NOT GO BACK.

Surberb sunday roast lunch. Arrived at 12.30 and greeted by friendly staff. Ordered the roast meats (3) platter for two for £28. We have eaten at most of the Local sunday lunch resturants near Kings Lynn and this was the best. 3 meats ,tender and full of flavour. Delious roast potatoes and HM YP. Stuffing, pasnips, carrots,broccoli, cabbage, new potatoes and lovely gravy which was topped up . Cannot fault the meal at all. Will visit many times again. Thank you.

Had a lovely family meal at this restaurant for the first time. Staff were great and the food very nice. Very clean and pleasant surroundings. Will go again and recommend this place.

Needed a hallway location for a meeting and this fit the bill plus decent reviews. We it delivered. Start with staff who were efficient, gracious and engaging. Our appetizers were fresh and delicious. Entrees amply portioned and tasty. The desserts just topped it off. OK it’s out of the way but even in a wet/snowy evening it delivered.

Four of us had dinner on Christmas Eve, place was very festive, food was great as was the service. We’ve been here a number of times and have never been disappointed. Won’t be long before we visit aga.

Reading previous reviews we felt confident that Sunday Lunch for 8 of us including a child and teenagers at The Oliver Twist was the place to be especially as it was also quite local.A bonus during winter months. Staff acknowledged and engaged with us immediately on arrival, menu’s were distributed and drinks orders taken by friendly and attentive staff. Some of the starters were disappointing including the crab cake, the sauce accompanying the scotch egg, and the bread served with balsamic vinegar / oil although the mushrooms on toast were very much enjoyed. The mains arrived and there was, in fairness, plenty of food presented. No one was going to leave the restaurant hungry. The breast of chicken was very moist and tender but the beef and pork were over cooked and dry. There was a plentiful selection of vegetables and crispy Yorkshire puddings but, sad to say, we’ve had better roasties. The saving grace were the desserts including the Eton Mess with raspberries, sticky toffee pudding and the apple pie. The panna cotta and doughnuts would have also received a thumbs up had it not been such a small portion! That diner was very disappointed! We are hoping it was an ‘off day’ for the chef and, that if we returned for a meal during the week, we would be pleasantly surprised. Do we give it another chance? ps We did report a very slippery floor after one of our party who was using crutches and another wearing high heels nearly lost their balance. By the time we had paid the bill and were leaving (about 25 minutes) it had not been attended to. The restaurant was busy and the atmosphere was pleasant. Could do better The Oliver Twist although our hound was very grateful for his doggy bag!

My friend and I just called in for a drink late on a Saturday afternoon. We were greeted by a friendly Barmaid ( who had a pleasant personality which meant you could share conversation with her ). The menu looked so tempting I just had to order the Sea Bass from the specials section of the menu. This was properly freshly prepared ( not microwaved ) and with the very tasteful vegetables was superb, best I had tasted in years . 10/10

Not very inviting from the outside but had booked a table as not much open on Monday's. Greeted nicely by staff good prompt service and nice range of drinks and food. Lovely food and would definitely go back.

Booked this restaurant having never been before for 15 people. The staff were friendly from the point of booking and the service on the night was really good. The pub was clean and the menu had plenty of choice on it. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed their food and their were no complaints from anyone. Looking forward to returning!

For business reasons myself and two other colleagues stayed at the Oliver Twist Country Inn for one night. The service and hospitality from the staff were extremely friendly and very welcoming. The evening meal and breakfast was excellent and offered plenty of mouth watering choices. As someone whose job requires regular travelling I would certainly recommend this venue to stay, would definitely use the Inn again.

Its the first time we have stayed at The Oliver Twist But I am sure we will be going back.The couple who run the pub and their staff made us feel very welcome and safe.The evening meal and breakfast were good value. The room I stayed in was spotless. The shower was really good.

Stayed nearby for a short break away with my husband, was recommended this place by the owner of where we were staying. The food was incredible, I highly recommend the crab fritters and the honeycomb toffee cheesecake My husband had the ribs which he said was really really good. Just had a Christmas day dinner at the Oliver Twist. The welcome was so friendly. The meal was superb from starters through to coffee. All through the meal staff were friendly and curtious. The atmoshphere in the pub was just right, Christmasy and bright all customers wishing each other a happy Christmas. Meal was spaced out so you could enjoy it and no rush to eat it and leave. We have been here a couple of times for a take away and had lots of meals in the restaurant. The food is always well presented and tastes great. Staff welcoming and chatty. Couldn’t recommend enough.

What can we say, very warm welcome from friendly staff, felt very safe, every where was clean and it was very Christmassy. The food was amazing and the service was great. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for somewhere to eat during these very difficult times. We will definitely return and soon.

Absolutely delicious. 2 roast beef & 2 roast chicken. Meat cooked to perfection and all the trimmings were simply wonderful. Highly recommend. If we could give 10/10 we would.

We booked a table for my mother-in-laws 80th birthday for an evening meal and what can I say.... superb food, brilliant atmosphere, felt extremely safe with all the precautions taken in respect of Covid and ALL of the staff are simply THE best.

Staff were so friendly. We had a baby with us but was our first date since having her and everyone made it really special. We were the only ones in that part of the restaurant and the service was so quick. The food was exceptional we cannot wait to visit again! Thankyou Oliver Twist

We were camping at the Secret Garden and so decided to book lunch for our second day. The staff were very good and everywhere was very well signposted. We were shown to our table and drinks arranged. Menu choice was very good. I had the fishcakes which were delicious my husband had the pie. We were very impressed with the food and explained our friends were joining us at the campsite and could we book for the Sunday lunch. We then returned on the Sunday and again were not disappointed. All very well laid out and set up. Food was excellent and we had a lovely afternoon. Thank you to the chef and all of the team.

Visited with my grand daughters and felt very safe doing so. We had a really nice lunch, the staff all wore face coverings and everything was in place to ensure we kept covid free.

Dined here with hubby on eat out help out. Sirloin steak perfectly coojed med rare with all the trimmings - superb onion rings and oliver burger with all the extras followed by the most luscious dark chocolate brownie and salted caramel icecream. Sll in all, fabulous.

Me and my partner came to eat here for Sunday lunch. We are big fan of le roast. Both of us agree this is the best Sunday roast we have had out in years. We have the Sunday roast share platter of meat with cut of beef, pork and chicken. Highly recommend! The service was also on point.

First time out for lunch today since lockdown. Staff made us feel very welcome and at ease.I had the daube beef - really tender, hubby had a steak (huge) and our vegetarian daughter had the Black Bean burger - all delicious. Highly recommend the onion rings which we shared - we'll order an extra portion next time! Too full for desserts but looked so tempting we ordered them to take home.Found out there is a take away menu online too.We'll be back.

went ther with familey fro my stepsons 30th we had to have two tables due to the covid thing but we where close by the staff where execellent and very professional they made sure that when we ordered it all came out together so we eat at the sametime the food was lovely

We had a birthday meal for my wife with her Daughter and her husband and my granddaughter and our son and the food was delicious with excellent service from the staff and everyone said they had a good time and what they had was fresh and wonderfully cooked and would go back again very soon.

The place was quite empty on Saturday so it was easy to get all the attention we wanted. We had three courses and the food was really good. The beer was good and the bar lady brought it over which might not be possible if it had been 8pm but at least she does if she can. The service was excellent, friendly, engaging and prompt. Couldn't have asked for any more

The staff here are the friendliest bunch of people. The food was delicious, especially the proper HOMEMADE desserts. I would recommend the honeycomb cheesecake......awesome. I'm quite sure all the puddings would be amazing and I intend to go back and eat my way through them. My only criticism would be the chips were still almost white. They were vooked throughout mot crispy and that proper chip colour. The only reason I can think of, was that the fat had not reached optimum temperature, as the onion rings were pale and had absorbed alot ot fat too.Other than that I would highly recommend this place and we will definitely be back

This was my first time visiting oliver twist..but my partner had been several times in the past, we had a lovely night. Food was excellent..very tasty..everything we had we hot and presented very well. Staff were very friendly we wasnt rushed to order at all. Food between each courses was served in perfect time. I haven't been here for several years. A group of 8 had Sunday Lunch on the 9th.Unfortunately, the Curry was not enjoyed by one of our group. Not very spicy and luke warm, but didn't want to make a fuss. Yes we will all come again another time.

Great Warm welcome ordered drinks and shown to our table with menus.Lunch orders soon taken.Starters soon arrived and they were delicious,soon followed by the mains.The slow cooked belly pork was wonderful.The roast beef was very rare but delicious.If you want a mix of meats you can have a sharing board made up of beef, pork and chicken.All were served with roast potatoes and a selection of veg and lots of yummy gravy.If you still have room for desert there is a list of delightful home made ones.We can highly recommend the honey comb cheesecake,the brownie and the sticky toffee.

Food was fantastic especially the onion rings you have to to try them , steak was cook just right and chips where just the best , if you have room the sweets well try your self . Just yummy

Excellent. My girlfriend and I stop to have a meal here and it was excellent. The food was brilliant with very good portion sizes. The atmosphere and decor (well themed and quirky) was lovely and the staff were great. Overall great experience, recommend.

We were visiting to decide if thi si somehwere where we could have our first Xma lunch away from home. I am glad to ay it lived up to expectations and we do plan to have our Xmas lunch there. Its a nice location with good food and friendly staff

We took our time over choosing, very good menu. The food arrived and we weren’t disappointed by any of it, waiting staff attentive and friendly.

our first visit and last, service was slow table was not ready we were sat by the window,the window sill had dead flies on, starter was fine but the mains of ribeye steak was very poor. Mushrooms were black and like rubber bullets steak was tough as old boots very disapointing spoilt our evening we didn't bother staying for dessert.

We are regulars here and have the benefit of a loyalty card which gives us 10% off. The combination meat lunch is particularly good and good value and the staff are very pleasant

Very warm welcome, freshly cooked and tasty food. Nice to have linen tablecloth and serviettes. Sensible prices also mean we will return.

I very rarely leave reviews....We were revealing back to Wales after picking up a sauna, it had been over 6 hrs driving & loading & we were looking for a nice country pub for a nice meal & a beer.. My son saw the sign through the bushes, the pub looked lovely.. The menu was fine & the camembert starter was lovely. The beef rib looked lovely, yet was mostly fat & bone, I've had these at other restaurants & this was terrible in comparison, the potato wedges that were supposed to be 3 fried were not cooked all the way through...The salad was ok though... Defiantly not worth the £16,95 .... My sons Dodger burger looked good, yet tasted like cheap frozen burgers & doubled up cost £17... Even the IPA was a little flat.. All in all a waste of £47.50... Was very disappointed, was going to complain but didn't really know where to start as it was such an anticlimax... The going lady serving was lovely though... If you are going to charge such prices, I suggest you have quality ingredients as you state on your sign... A party of 4 came in, sat down looked at the menu & left just as we were leaving. Bar food at fancy restaurant prices.. Chef trying to make silk purses out of pigs ears...

Pre-booked Xmas lunch. 8 of us family and friends. Could not be faulted. Table looked lovely, food well done and service impeccable. Very well organised and all of us really enjoyed ourselves. Many thanks to owners and staff. Would recommend.

We have taken several different family members to The Oliver Twist when they visit us from Essex. We have never been disappointed. Lovely food, Friendly Staff, reasonable prices! My brother-in-law had the pie, he said it's the best pie he has had in a long while. We will continue to dine out at The Oliver Twist and recommend to friends and family. Keep up the good work.

We attended a Birthday Party at the end of March and from beginning to end it was fabulous. Kelly made us very welcome on arrival, as indeed did all the staff on duty during our stay and we soon settled into a lovely clean comfortable room with everything we needed. The Birthday meal was excellent as was Breakfast next morning. Having travelled a long distance we stayed a 2nd night. Again we were presented with friendly hospitality, great food and drinks at reasonable prices. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend The Oliver Twist and will certainly call again when in that area.

On the very rare occasions that my wife and I get out for a meal on our own The Oliver Twist is our venue of choice!
