I went here today post COVID. It was busy as they are participating in the Eat Out to Help Out Scheme in August 2020. The souvlaki was up to standard - I had the chicken in a wrap with a few chips and salad. The waiting time was good compared to other restaurants in the Food Court. The thing that let it down was the lack of sanitisation of the tables. I sat for half an hour eating my food and not one member of staff came round to clear or wipe the tables. I did my table myself with my own tissue and sanitiser. I think they should be more particular especially in these times.

Four of us visited the restaurant in lakeside shopping centre in west Thurrock , I can honestly tell you the food is cold , specially the chips, the staff could not be bothered. I had to return a chips which cost £2.90 and the portion is a pity. I asked for the chips to be hot but the chef wouldn’t have it , he was cleaning the fryer and tidying an hour before the shop closed. Avoid at all cost. Very poor customer service.

we never eat at the food court because it is a rather dirty, unpleasant place and i am not sure how Lakeside shopping centre lets the restaurants get away with it there. This establishment had some mobile phone like device that pages you when the food is ready, again, they need to clean those things, its disgusting. The guy who took the order did not understand what i ordered, the meals are TINY too. so much for the unpleasantness that we rather eat at the other places nearby, watching an outlet of our, in theory favourite food (Greek) will be going under no doubt.

Tell me is the PORK or CHICKEN? If this is chicken then I can assure you i would be throwing up right now! Look how pink this is!! This is 100% pork. Im not stupid! Two of the staff members at Stratford Westfields stood there and shouted at me because I asked for chicken and they served me PORK. They were adamant that it was chicken, even tried to show me other examples of cooked meats and patronised me by sloooowly saying this is Pork and this is Chicken. IM NOT STUPID! I KNOW WHAT MEAT I AM EATING. MY HUSBAND IS ALSO A CHEF FOR GODS SAKE! They refused to change it for chicken, even fingered my food and gave me back THE SAME ONE TO EAT. Disgusting service. I will take this further. Also wheres the salad? It was all cold too and they gave me stale chips. NASTY

Stopped by for lunch and ordered the Gyros as it is one of my favourite Greek foods. Food was quickly prepared and ready within 5 minutes, when I collected food I asked what sauces they had and was told that they had ketchup when I asked about other sauces I was told there was a charge which is disappointing as every other time I have had Gyros for other places sauces have been included. The food was quite flavourless and basic, the meats were dry, chips over cooked and salad basic and very small. Overall the food was overpriced £7.90 and portion was small and poor quality. I would not recommend and suggest visiting one of the many other food establishments nearby.

I stopped here for what I thought might be a quick and healthy lunch - I opted for a halloumi wrap and asked for no chips and extra salad. The halloumi was undercooked and there was no extra salad to speak of, just loads of raw onion. It was rather unpleasant and very salty. I would not recommend.

Came yesterday with my son and sister and had to have a refund on my food. I ordered mousaka and chips for my son and 2 chicken salads, the mousaka tasted pretty gross to be honest and the chicken in the salads were pink! When I queried the chicken, i was told its because its Thai... thai chicken in a greek/Mediterranean restaurant?! Okay! As i am clearly heavily pregnant, i said I wasn’t willing to risk it so the server offered to give me a different style of chicken to which i agreed but.... he scraped the pink chicken into the bin and went to put different chicken on the same salad! I instantly called out no, thats cross contamination to which he then offered to make again but by then i was scared of their health and safety practices so asked for a refund! They gave me a refund straight away but we will NEVER be returning!

We came on Father’s Day to shop and grab something to eat. We have ate many times her and enjoy the food. I was served by a young girl who had zero manners no please or thank you, just took my order and demanded my money. I reminded her to use her manners which she replied what? She then just stared at me and handed me my change. She then served the man behind me exactly the same way. This has definitely put me off coming back. Please remind your staff please and thank you are a requirement when serving members of the public!!!

My mum is allergic to potatoes and my dad knows about nutrition she cannot have potatoes on the same plate as her meal or the potatoes would’ve touched the food. We went there as a family trip for my mums birthday dinner. We asked for them to put the chips on a separate plate but what we heard back was ‘no I cannot do that’ we asked why and he says ‘the meal comes how it comes’ in a rude tone. We asked him ‘well can you please put the chips on another plate she is allergic’ and he said back ‘no I do not have the requirements to do that’. Is he having a laugh? My dad didn’t ask him to pick peas out of rice I don’t understand and I have heard that other people have had this same problem. Would not recommend to go there if you would like to change the meal.

Love their Greek chicken wrap.The food is fresh and tasty, I would definitely recommend this restaurant.the workers are kind and their food is delicious. Arina 9

Visted here today food is terrible staff rude chicken i got was pink asked to put it on a little longer was told no its fine. Had to asked for knife and forks no sauces with food never again.

The food is tasteless The chicken has no condiments on it nor does the salad . The chips are bland and to make matters worse the young people working there are rude , impatient and patronising A no go for us We still love the Westfield Stratford one

This place is in the foodcourt in the shopping centre. I had the pita bread with chicken cooked on a skewer with salad, dressing and a few chips, all rolled up! It's unique, tasty and quite healthy. When you order, they give you a buzzer when your food is ready, but it doesn't take long. There is an area designated to the restaurant or, if your friends choose food elsewhere, you can sit in the foodcourt itself.

Very expensive and small portions. Quality wasnt good either - everything, including the meat was cold and pretty tasteless.

Was looking round the outlets for food and this looked nice in the photos but came up short in reality. Cold and tasteless food my wife felt the same won't use again

I have been on a number of occasions for my evening meal here (I regularly stay st a hotel in purfleet with work) it’s ok but the meat quality is poor!!

Nice spot for lunch, good choice on the menu. Had a chicken wrap, was tasty and a nice size. Only down point is they don't have any ice for drinks otherwise a good spot.

Lakeside Branch is Absolute Joke!

The most appalling food I have ever had. Would not even feed this to my dog. Very poor quality meat, chips were old and cold and the bread was hard. Felt sick after eating and the service , well that ws not apparent. The chef was very rude as well when asked a question about the dish that was ordered. I feel like I was robbed!! Never again.

Visited the outlet whilst shopping at Lakeside and wanted something a bit different. I had mixed Gyros. It came with pitta pork and chicken kebab chips, with a little salad. Everything was fine. Staff were friendly enough.

We divided to stop and eat hare as the food looked good and it was busy. While waiting in the question the guy starts blowing his nose on a bit of blue roll (in the middle of the kitchen area) and proceeds to wipe his nose several times with varying parts of the tissue... Blowing your nose is not an issue for me but when you carry on cooking people's food without washing your hands I have a problem. I have emailed the company and had no response from them at all.i am beyond disgusted.

First visit to this small self contained restaurant in the upper food hall of Lakeside shopping centre.

Stopped here for lunch as it looked quite nice, my wife has been here before and she likes it. I will get the negatives out of the way first. Plastic knives and forks, I asked if they had any proper ones and was told they don't. No glasses with the drinks, I had to ask for them and was given plastic tumblers. I was in a restaurant not on an airplane.

Tried this restaurant and it was delicious! Hot tasty food, friendly staff and good value for money. Will definitely go back!

I ordered chicken souvlaki, it was really delicious. Very reasonable price as well. The service was prompt so all round 5*.

Been to this restaurant several times and never had a problem, had a chicken burger with fries , burger was not cooked properly and salad was virtually non existent, as a consequence wife was ill during the night, maybe because they were very busy it was a one off and they took their eye off the ball, will think twice about returning .

Intentamos vueltas en el aceite de oliva y orégano y era bastante bueno, aunque no el mejor que tuve. Me gustaría probar otras cosas para el menú, ya que creo que los precios son decentes y hay opciones más interesantes en el menú para probar.

Nunca solemos comer en lakeside, sin embargo un amigo me recomendó este lugar y nos encantó! Sin duda volveremos, servicio rápido con un ambiente amable del personal, establecidos al lado de la principal zona de descanso de la corte comida o era tranquilo es fácil llegar y está muy bien decorado

Tried Olive Oil & Oregano for dinner because my fiancée and I love Greek food and were yet to try this restaurant. Went for the pork gyros and a gyros burger. My gyros was missing the tomato, even though the cashier had asked if I wanted it and he'd clearly seen me say yes. I was also meant to get chips with my meal as part of the gyros wrap but I had about 4 chips. Disappointing. The gyros burger was massive but delicious. Came to £14 for the burger, gyros wrap and two drinks.

Visited here a few months after a trip to Greece so it was good to have some proper Mediterranean food. We ordered the halloumi wraps which were very tasty. Reasonably priced aswell. Definitely worth a visit

Disgusting food, the chicken wrap looks like pieces of rat! Was nothing like the picture, the picture shows lumps of chicken breast however you are served gristly chicken which almost looks like a donner kebab. Wanted a healthy chicken wrap lunch, was served a fatty disgusting wrap with chips shuvved in?

I ordered a chicken wrap with no onion. Was given my buzzer and after a few minutes it went off so whilst three staff members stood at the counter I went up to pick it up (there were about 4 other customers on one table).On first lol it seemed to be ok, but when I tasted it, it was greasy over salty and cold!The sauce really wasn't that nice either, overall not a nice experience, left 50% of it.Not an enjoyable experience at all!

Decided to try this place out, wish we hadn't bothered was expensive for what you get. We could have got chicken kebabs far more tastier and cheaper from the local kebab shop The whole meal was dry from the meat to the pita. Meals would taste better if served with some kind of sauce like chilli or mayo.

Tried this for the first time when my mate recommended it when we were trying to find somewhere to place.The kebab I got was so good in the wrap with the chips in it also and the amazing mustard mayo sauce they put in it as well. I was actually considering ordering another one, as it was reasonable size, and so good that I didn't feel full but at the same time really wanted to experience the taste again.

Souvlaki is kind of very popular Greek street food, it has tomato, onions and pork (traditionally) which comes in meat cubes on stick or Gyro (meat on revolving rotissery), the deluxe versions contain chips as well, all wrapped in a Greek (not Greek Cypriot/Arabic) pitta and Tzatziki (Garlic & mint youghurt).We visited Lakeside Shopping center frequently but fed up with non authentic Greek food I resisted ordering from 'Olive & Oregano' until yesterday.Expecting the worst I was pleasantly surprised with the pork Gyro souvlaki, verry good, as authentic as you can make it in a country thousands of miles away from Greece where I was born :)The souvlaki is good, the portion large and just one fills you up, our service was good though a tad slow.We did not experience it but 'Disinterested' and lazy service is kind of a Greek cultural phenomenon :) (stress free, easy going attitude = slow) so rather than fight it embrace the experience ... perhaps drink a coffe and talk with friends while waiting.. I had the pork gyro (pronounced gero) souvlaki, my wife had the chicken gyro souvlaki, both had chips in them , so no need to order them seperately, the pork souvlaki had a sort of tzatziki sauce while the chicken souvlaki had a mustard mayo. I always come here to eat and usually served by a smiley animated black lady on the till. She is always helpful when I am stuck on what to eat. She makes the restaurant what it is. The food is always nice and the other staff are also great but the usual till lady is missed very much.Get well soon!!

visited here 21/12/16, we waited in the Que to place our order to be served by MAKIS, She was not interested in serving us, no eye contact, we could have got more from a brick wall. My wife asked her for a vegetarian salad as they had many options, only for her to make fun of her and say "all salads are vegetarian" when clearly this is not the case here as they do chicken salad etc. She then started laughing while telling another member of staff. When we got to our table we realized that she had not listened to what we had asked for and over ordered, we left it and just waited for the food. 30 mins later the food was ready so went to collect it. Surprise surprise they managed to get the order wrong and gave us one veg wrap instead of the halloumi as ordered. I went back to stand in the Que where she was there again taking orders from other customers. I told her that she got the order wrong but was not ready to take the blame, eventually had my wrap changed over by the chef who seemed very genuinely bothered. I am not surprised to see other reviewers also not happy with the service provided. Management need to do something here as soon more people like myself will not bother coming back.

had the green dish with haloumi my mum had the chicken. mine was a bit of scraggy lettuce a bit of tomato and onion and nasty halloumi sprinkled with far too much dried oregano. My mum returned hers as it was hard to work out exactly what the meat was it could have been shaved toenails! she asked for a piece of chicken in replacement. When it finally came out the whole meal, salad included was floating in fat. She returned it and asked for a refund, manager was very rude. After leaving there I felt very ill within 10 minutes I was violently sick. This is the worst food I have ever eaten. I cant believe I wasted almost £10 on that rubbish

We have been here 3 times now as both love Greek food, the food is is nice (maybe not as good as more traditional restaurants but near enough) however some of the staff are awful and really should consider alternative employment. Can't fault the cooking/grill staff or the lady who is usually front of house handing out menus, clearing tables etc. she is great but as the black girl who takes the orders is rude, unhelpful and seems put out to be taking your order. She just stands there looking at you, no hello how can I help or what can I get you and once order I taken she just stares blankly at you as if you should know what to do next. Disgusting attitude for someone in the service industry. We won't be eating here again if she is still there and I have put in a formal complaint to the head office about her. Then there is the blonde girl who serves, she's not as bad but needs to not take her stresses out on customers, I understand that service is stressful at busy times but if you can't handle it don't work in the industry!!Overall food is acceptable service leaves a lot to be desired.

Ordered chicken burger and a holoumi wrap! Was given a 'buzzer' and advised as cooked fresh would have to wait! Not sure how long a holoumi wrap takes but 20mins later finally ready! The wrap comes with chips, onion and tomatoes in it....apparently!!! The chips were def there....cold but there!! The holoumi was barely there....2 small pieces that were so over cooked it hurt my teeth to chew it! And the tomato and onion...well let's just say I had to hunt for them!!! The wrap itself was smothered in 'Greek mayo' apparently and really rubbery too! For this culinary delight we were charged £5.50!!! My partners chicken burger was huge and he said it was ok but Luke warm!!! Chips were cold of course! But he ate it!!On speaking to a waitress she basically said 'tough as it's down to personal taste!' Very rude girl! Who then told us to 'go find the supervisor!' She clearly wasn't prepared to find him! So off we went! He too initially was rude and said it was down to individual preference! I explained I preferred not to eat it as it was disgusting yes!!! Eventually he asked if we wanted our money back but I am sure this was only due to the fact that we were now making a fuss and people were watching!Needless to say we won't eat here ever again and would recommend no-one else does!! Dreadful customer service!! Should be ashamed of themselves!!

We eat out a lot and take food seriously. We were attracted by the photos and professional looking servers. We left our food. For us, as a family this is unheard of. My son started to tuck in to a pita. I am certain chips and some sort of chicken was so minimal it was embarrassing. Whatever it looked like we ONLY tasted SALT. My food was sprinkled with oregano...dried oregano (also salty) which was really unpleasant.Very, very unhappy.The lady who served us was distant, unhelpful and impatient as we decided what to order. No help with 'what is what'.

The predominant flavour of our meals was salt. The meat tasted of salt, the pitta tasted of salt... We all had chicken dishes but any resemblance to chicken was purely coincidental.

The food here is absolutely amazing. Authentic Greek food! Just like Greece as a child. Food and smells are so authentic the only thing missing is the Mediterranean Sea. I highly recommend the mixed grill: pork and chicken souvlaki and lamb bifteki.If you don't stop to read the menu, you might think this was an Italian restaurant based on the name. I think the company has not done themselves any favours by calling themselves Olive Oil & Oregano. They would have been better to think of something that represents their food more accurately such as a typical Greek name or even "The Mad Greek" or something catchy/funny.

Will never visit this eatery again. When we visit Lakeside we have always headed here to eat but we couldn't believe the deterioration in food, customer service and overall eating experience.Unhelpful staff, had to go up and ask for our drinks as food was taking so long, then had to ask for a glass - non existent so had to then ask could we at least have a straw, not everybody feels happy drinking out of a bottle! Food finally arrived, salad had hardly any of their normally lovely dressing, chips were not seasoned, generally disappointed - bearing in mind we have eaten here on several occasions so we do have a comparison. We also had to ask for serviettes/napkins, given begrudgingly. Staff generally sour faced and unhelpful.Very sad as we all enjoyed stopping here and whilst it's a fast food outlet, it certainly isn't cheap and wouldn't consider coming here ever again.

I like the idea of a fast food type Greek food place. A bit like a posh kebab shop. But a lot nicer. So we thought this looked pretty appealing - nice menu and the place itself looked ok. Service was fast and friendly and its fairly reasonably priced.Trouble is, the food is only average. Pork gyros was a bit bland and chicken salad had plenty of chicken but it was on the overcooked (tough) side.Would I go again? Probably not but more because there is a lot of choice of alternative venues and I'd rather try somewhere different. Maybe on a different day the food might be brilliant but sadly I'll probably never know...

We went on Thursday evening 29th September at the olive oil and oregano (Lakeside), for a greek style gyro pita. Well at least we wanted to. Me and my family finally we faced a rude lady at the till with an extremely aggressive attitude trying to finish the order asap. I dont really complain about the staff in general but the staff in a restaurant is sometimes more important than the food. They have to make you feel comfortable and not the opposite. I ordered 6x pita gyro and instead i got 6x souvlaki pita and thats because she had not idea which is the difference between them and ordered souvlaki instead. Just try to get people they know what's greek food like the guys in the grill they are pretty good and SMILEY. Well i like olive oil and oregano anyway but next time i will choose another place to eat at Lakeside. (I've got 2 stars just for the previous experiences)

Visited here to day for lunch having taken a look at the other outlets, this establishment looked nice with small olive trees in window boxes and nice layout of seating with some booths. A bit confusing as what to do about ordering so asked a young lady who explained what to do. : order your meal at the counter, pay, take a mobile pager and take a seat. Food was really nice and hot. We had a pita wrap, a souvlaki , dips and two drinks which came to just under £20. Very nice indeed!

My friend and I love OO&O as an alternative to the normal fast food options. Staff are helping explaining some dishes and what they contain. Fast service and food always hot. Just a shame drinks aren't included in a meal deal as they are expensive compared to the price of the food.

We have tried this place once so far as its fairly new and visually appealing. The layout of the counter is a little confusing, no signs to tell you where to order or stand etc. My hubby and daughter went and sat down and i went up to order. There was a chap talking to the staff in another language and i was ignored for a good few minutea while they finished their conversation.I ordered 3 wraps or gyros and a couple of drinks. The staff we not very friendly and not very helpful when i asked for one of the wraps to be without salad. The lady staff looked at me like i was mad and huffed like it was a huge problem. Anyway i asked what do i do now ive paid as it wasnt clear and i wasnt informed. She gave me a receipt and a plastic buzzer thing and said to take it and when it buzzes our food is ready. Anyway we went up and collected the food which was nice and tasty and good value. We will return but hope that the staff have ironed out their customer service issues to make the visit more enjoyable.

Dined here today & was very impressed ... After standing about deliberating over which of the 2 popular chicken fast food places eat we were handed a menu for OO & O and were impressed ...The choice was great, we love Mediterranean food & it met all expectation. The bonus being it worked out half the price of our usual meal elsewhere. Only a very minimal criticism would be .. Would of liked more chicken in the salad BUT I'm sure we could of purchased more to add to it & soft drinks seemed over priced. However all in all it was a great choice & we would defo dine here again

Wonderful change of pace to the usual fast food in the food court. A little more expensive than most up there but it's definitely worth it! Serving size is excellent value for money and the salad is always super fresh.

2 x chicken wraps and a Greek Salad and beers for 21 quid. Very nice indeed. Made such a change to have a really enjoyable bit of fast food opposed to the normal awful pap that is sometimes served in other places. Well put together, nice staff and very tasty food. Would recommend and im a fussy so and so!!

Decided to stop by for lunch here after previously walking by and getting a menu but already eaten at the time, so this time we decided to try it out. I tried the Souvlaki - think that's name of it. Really good Greek food run by Greek people and big portions, reasonable prices too and nice service, for those who like to get out their comfort zone (think outside the box) and try different cuisines rather than eating same thing all year round then this place is good for it... I definitely be back here again, only if i lived closer i be back sooner !

I loved he wrap, the staff was nice and the place looked clean and organised. The girl that took my order was smartly dressed, smiled and spoke clearly (I know it might sound silly but nowadays it is a bonus to find someone with these quality behind a counter!). They have a smart system with little vibrating key rings to warn you that your food is ready to collect. I've chosen the pork and it was beautifully cooked. I will definitely go back.

I can't say enough good things about the food. It tasted like an authentic Greek dish, the food was genuinely restaurant quality.However I have to dock two stars for the simple fact I had to wait HALF AN HOUR for my food to be served — and even then it was only served swiftly after I said I would ask for a refund. There were plenty of staff and no customers so no excuse at all for the painfully slow waiting time.I would like to return because the food was so good, but I'm really not sure if I can wait thirty minutes for my food again. This is why I can't give this place any more than a bang average review.

We were looking for a place to get a coffee and I decided I needed something more filling, and having seen this place before, we decided to try it. The food is very mediterranean. I went and ordered, while my wife located a table. They were slow in serving the people in front of me, which caused a bit of a backlog in the queue, plus as there are two tills, there was some confusion about where the queue was. I ordered a chicken gyro plate and my wife wanted some grilled halloumi (a small starter). It took a few more minutes to prepare, because it is fresh. You get a lot of chicken for your money. It doesn't look particularly pretty, a mixed of light and dark meat, but it was extremely tasty. Given how much you get, I thought that it was pretty good value.

I spent 10 years in Greece during the 80s and 90s and still miss the pita gyros and souvlakia, so when in Lakeside at the weekend, just had to try it.Was really surprised at the authenticity of the food - smelt and tasted of Greece! Service was terribly slow though.Not sure if you would particularly like the food if you don't have the fondness for it, but I would go back again...as long as you don't still have to order and then wait 20 minutes for gyros!

Absolutely delicious. Was looking for somewhere to eat and stumbled across this little restaurant, it is fast food but also a bit more up market than fast food that is other popular food chains. It tasted very greek was very impressed! Will be returning.

Whilst we all ordered chicken we are all praying it is processed to the max as it's as pink as it gets, it's all pretty to look at but what they produce is nothing special, in fact left most of our food and felt cheated for our money!

Ok so wasn't expecting a great meal, just a quick one. After 30 minutes I followed up our order and was told they had been calling us, but then found out the food hadn't even been plated. Food was ok nothing special won't be back

On a day out at Lakeside we went to Olive Oil & Oregano for lunch. Unfortunately it is situated within a food court, that said today Monday it wasn't very busy (Thursday - Sunday & school holidays etc) it probably will be. It was nice and clean, staff friendly and prices reasonable. Menu isn't too bad. We had to wait 20 minutes for food, which as it wasn't busy was disappointing, however the taste made up for that. If you want drinks they don't sell tea or coffee only soft drinks. So you would have to get them from another food outlet.

There's not many of these around, but we've eaten at this one a few times. The Gyros is excellent and very reasonably priced for a quick snack when you want to have a rest after trekking round Lakeside. Staff very friendly, and they give you a pager to call you when your food is ready - nice touch.

We got there for a quick bite food was ok well seasoned meat but little bit taste of burnt .servis ok good size portions fresh vegetables.You placing the order at till and then are given buzzer that wiil buzz when food is ready to collect. Nice sitting down area. Overall not to bad greek fast food.

Food is served by a buzzer when ready but it's not somewhere to go for a meal as it was obvious from the mousaka that it was re-heated and not fresh. Saying that, it was okay but I would just have liked it to be more restaurant like rather than cafe and food fresh so room for improvement.

We popped in olive oil & oregano, for a quick bite to eat. The food was served quickly, and was of a good standard. I had the chicken, which was delicious. Definitely would return again.

Great service, the guys really know their stuff. I just had a light snack of a souvlaki wrap but it was delicious and probably more healthy than alot of other fast food chains on offer at Lakeside.

Fantastic meal here at lunchtime, service was quick and food followed in good time. Would recommend the Chicken Gyros but all the dishes look great and are cooked fresh in most cases. Highly recommend.

Visited lunchtime on a Friday, when Lakeside was moderately busy. We ordered 2 chicken souvlaki (3 chicken kebabs, flatbreads, a little side salad and chips), and soft drinks. They advertise that all food is cooked fresh, so we can't complain that we had to wait about 15 minutes, and collected the food when our buzzer buzzed. The food was very tasty, moist and fresh, and as far as my knowledge goes, authentic Greek. If you chose the same meal as us, ask for some dips too, as the whole meal would have benefited from some more moisture, but still very edible in any case. Our two meals were about £20.

Ordered some chicken with pitta bread and trimmingsThe food was "served" via a vibrating buzzer when it was ready.The wrap was a thick pitta bread quite soggy and uninteresting. The meat, what there was of it, was very thin greasy slices of chicken that I thought were ham to start off with.It had some slices of beef tonato in it too, but the overwhelming impression was grease!Shame, the place has potential, friendly staff and space but doesn't deliver on the promise sadly.Reasonably cheap eats as long as you aren't overly hungry!

Didn't realise this place was here it looked clean and inviting so we thought we would try it we all enjoyed the food plain simple menu. We had a mixed grill a chicken burger which was massive and some side dishes now we know it's there in the food hall we will come again.

Was looking around for somewhere to eat and its full of the usual burger places in lakeside then spotted this place. Definitely would recommend it, not overly priced polite and friendly staff. The food was really well cooked and plenty of it, the chicken burger would have been enough for 2 people and was surprised how much you got for the price. Recommend the chicken gyros. Good to see somewhere with healthy options as well. Only downside was the wait for the food but that's because it's all cooked to order and not sitting around. If u want somewhere different would recommend trying this place.

Stopped here for lunch in the middle of our shopping trip. We ordered pitta bread with spicy dip and chicken souvlaki with a cold drink. The first mouthful transported us away to any of our favourite Greek destinations, the taste and temperature of the food were both very authentic and we would definitely go here again. Efaristo to the guys who work there. For us it was a job well done. Yammas.

Four of us visited on a Saturday. Placed our orders and waited and waited. The order came up with mistakes so we had to wait longer. Quite expensive and not much choice for vegetarians. Would not eat there again. Not worth the money.

Loved this place, food fresh grilled and sprinkled with Oregano, choice of pork or chicken Gyros (No Lamb option maybe too expensive to make), chose the Pork gyros, salad, pitta and chips, £7.90 good sized portion , but the crowning glory of the must have tzaziki sauce is an extra 99p for tiny carton..!!! come on it must cost 10p to produce this size, please give one with each meal, so felt let down at the final hurdle, i passed and took a free sachet of tomato sauce instead maybe a case of cutting your nose off to spite your face but it was a principle thing too, not quite the same with the Heinz but if spending nearly £8 surely you could have a bit if tzaziki with it, the food itself was excellent, freshly carved off the Gyros, Pitta bread is also great as was the Chips, nice clean pleasant surroundings and is a welcome change to the run of the mill food court offerings,, just ashame about the 'extra charge', but won't stop me from using again, just stopped me giving 5 stars.The rest of the Menu looked good, Lamb Shanks, a Massive Grilled Chicken burger, Half Chickens, and Veg options, expensive drinks.

Cold Drinks for £1.60 should not be warm! But then again the food was not much warmer then that drink. I don't like the fact that when put oregano on the chips it don't work guys! So it was cold thank god it was on the happy hour price as I would not of been happy at the full price for that basic food!

When my wife heard that a Greek food restaurant had opened in Lakeside she wanted to go and try it at some point. My wife has a brother that lives in Greece and we go over when we can to visit and love the native food.One Saturday evening in February we went over to try it, personally I was a little hesitant but needn't have been. The service was extremely quick and friendly to the point you felt the server was treating you like a loved one. We ordered our food and then went and sat down and waited for the food. Once ready (in an extremely quick time) they call your receipt number out and you go and get your food. The portions were big and filling. As soon as we bit into the food we felt like we had been transported to Athens. The food was exactly the same as your would be served in Athens, nice crispyish chips, the wraps we had were spot on as well. My only bug bear is the fact that the food was slightly on the expensive side. We would however eat here again in the future.
