The staff made me feel very welcome.

We chose from the £9.95 lunch time deal. So I had potato skins, pasta and a coffee. My friend had the bruschetta, pizza and paid £3 more to get the sweet of the day. She usually gets the ice-cream as part of the deal. The sweet was cheese cake and was presented well. My friend asked for a box to take home half of her pizza. Three courses can be a large lunch if you're used to a sandwich. The waiter didn't quibble (unlike some places) and just boxed it up. Our food cost just less than £23. The atmosphere was good and the restaurant had at least twenty five people in, which is brilliant for lunch time.

Is not my first time to come here But I’m feel very disappointed tonight We ordered pasta oil and half pizza Hawaii with half carbonara… The pasta oil was super salty!! When the waiter asking us everything alright? We commented that is too salty…. One waiter asking us do you want to change other pasta, but have the younger waiter is come to say salty is come from the bacon….this is the bacon pasta so is salty…. We mentioned is the sauce made whole thing too salty is not only the bacon, and my husband try the bacon again and said the sauce is salty then the bacon! We don’t want to have any argue with them … Just say if you think is come from the bacon and the taste is normal then just keep it. Finally we leave the whole plate pasta oil on the table….the taste is look like you eating the salt mix pasta ……. And I just feel very funny is you asking me is that everything alright, and I give a comment, and they didn’t accept and mention it they are correct…..then why you asking me a question?? The tastes very terrible and I think they have to try how salty they are !! I pay £13 and leave the whole plate on the table toshow how unpalatable it is

Good food at reasonable prices the staff are very welcoming

It was our first time at this restaurant and for sure we will not return and here is why. Place is lovely don't get me wrong clean and airy but the food is just not up to par. The pizza if I can call it that was on shop bought base as the topping and cheese were coming off it. I hate that why can't a so called pizzeria restaurant make its own dough just beggars belief. But on a plus staff were lovely just let down by the lack of good quality food...hit or miss...a definite miss!!!!

Used to be a fan of Oli & Joe's a few years ago. Recently ordered a takeaway and the pizza base was tough like cardboard, and the chips which used to be proper chips, are now processed crap. What a let down, hopefully they can sort themselves / the poor management out.

Nice neighbourhood Italian, good size and plenty of parking at front and rear. Good lunchtime and early evening deals . The usual pizza, pasta and steaks, good variety of specials on boards, drinks selection is as expected, Peroni etc. sensible and decent pricing, always popular and busy every day of week.

The food is fantastic and we can't fault the service either. It would be great if the venue was larger.

Beautiful restaurant. The pizza was exceptional. I think the only problem was the toilets and how they were SO much warmer. Overall great restaurant. Easy 5 star.

First time here and we loved it. Gluten free pizzas were lovely and the staff so friendly and attentive. A lovely atmosphere. We’ll definitely be back and take the rest of the family next time 🫶

Don’t judge me until you try it. This is my new favorite combo from Oli & Joe’s. Chicken Kiev with salad option, skin potatoes + extra peppercorn sauce. It’s finger-licking good! Salad is always fresh, crispy, literally just cut to order, delicious sauce with some balsamic. Don’t mind my plating - it’s was delivery. Kiev it’s soooooo delicious, generous portion with perfect garlicky sauce. But if you are like me and can’t decide between two dishes - get potato skins with pepper corn sauce, their sauce will send you to another universe :)) on some lucky days you might get a dessert as a bonus. Want to send heartfelt thanks to the chef and cooks for such fresh, finger licking delicious food :)))

Haven't been for a while and it was good. Food tasty and reasonably priced.

Our experience at oil and joes was a delight and we had really good food. Service was not that good and one of the servers showed a bad look on his face and the majority was always being so late to take our order. Price was a bit too high and I would honestly recommend the course meal to save on money, it just takes a bit longer than having a normal meal, so I wouldn’t really recommend that too at the same time. The dessert was also not appetizing at all. The one we at last time was absolutely delicious but the one brought by the male server was just so powdery and weird with not much sweetness that I wanted to choke. Never come here for big celebrations and stay away from a male server as much as possible if you can!!!!!

Tried last night to order a takeaway delivery but the girl that answered (Angela) ‘supposedly’ couldn’t hear - she put the phone on hold but we could hear every word she said. Not very complimentary about her customer- heard her say ‘she’s got a posh voice’ and other criticism about my wife. We have been loyal customers for years but no longer after that rude behaviour

My husband and myself love this restaurant. We go on a weekly basis. We love the food , the staff are very welcoming especially Mark and Angela. Nothing is too much trouble , we often visit with our daughter who has special dietary requirements and they always accommodate her. Great place for all ages and all occasions.

Came in saturday night staff were awful ....been a few times never had a bad time there but i never go back again .....and just a tip dont laugh and talk about customers your job is to serve them cause at the end of the day you know nothing about there lives and what there going threw so please be kind to your all customers !!

First time here and I have to say the food is great for the price. Definitely will come back again. We were greeted with friendly staff. Decor was alright and the place was rather busy, can’t help other customers that bring down the atmosphere. Overall, ignored them and had a lovely quick lunch. Breakdown. They had starters (a variety), pasta 🍝, pizza🍕, the usual you’ll find in most Italian 🇮🇹 restaurants. Their lunch special was around a £10ner and boy does it hit the spot. We got the starter, pizza and coffee. Had to takeaway the pizza because it was huge. 😅

After a really unpleasant experience at Gosforth olly and Joe's, I was very reluctant to go to the Westerhope restaurant. However I was more than pleasantly surprised. The staff were very attentive, without being over baring. The food was served within 10mins of ordering. When it came ,from starter to deserts, it was fantastic. The price was also amazing. Had my birthday dinner... Went for the 3course meal.. Love the Potato skins there.. The Chicken with Diane sauce was delicious. Pepperoni pizza did not have much pepperoni on but was tasty

Went last night with family, food was 10/10, and our server was brilliant really put a smile on my grandads face after singing a song for him and making us all laugh, service is mint definitely go back!

We have been regulars at Oli and Joe's in Westerhope since it opened and have been going with our now 4 year old since he was born. Always a warm welcome, good food and great atmosphere. Mark in particular is so friendly, even took my son in the kitchen tonight when he was looking in. Great place and proud to have this in our area!

Having visited this place in the past and not being very impressed have to say it has improved Immensely , food really nice and staff very friendly and attentive will definitely be going back

My son has a food allergy and the waiting staff went above and beyond to make sure he had something he could eat and would not feel left out when eating with his friends. I love that the lunch menu can include sea bass so he can order 2 courses with his mates. Would be lovely if they offered a non-dairy ice cream alternative for this menu like sorbet which would cover children with milk & soya allergies. This is my only feedback.

On spur of moment went into this restaurant for first time after DIY shopping. We managed to get a table and had the evening meal deal of starter pizza or pasta and either ice cream or coffee went for the coffee and was delicious plus non alcoholic drinks. All for 42quid and change. Very tasty food with a lovely atmosphere/decor plus plenty of other diners without fear of overhearing or being overheard. First time there but doubt will be the last. Pretty sure I ordered from this restaurant during lock down too and hadn't even known it existed till then. Very nice waiting staff without being intrusive.

Food excellent, good value for money too

Lunch menu is very good value but some drinks we considered expensive. Service was efficient, vigilant and friendly without being intrusive which unfortunately the piped music is! Gentle Italian tones would be more appropriate. There's a family-run feeling rather than what you get in 'chain' restaurants.

Tea time happy hour,good friendly service, Food fresh and hot,decent size pizza, tasty! Would recommend ham and pineapple with garlic, lovely! We had the 3 courses for £17, but next time just the pizza,only because it's way to much food,another tip is to state you want a gap between courses cause they came straight after each other, but it's worth a visit

Absolutely disgusting food. Order chicken arrabiatta, totally dumbfounded when the waiter placed a chicken thigh with the bone infront me. Don’t know if I’m expecting too much but surely chicken breast is the standard? Or Atleast have it stated on the menu. And then to top it off the veg I ordered as a side was covered in cheese, surely if i wanted cheesey veg, I’d ask for it? Definitely won’t be going back 👎🏼

Went for food today with the family but not our first time. There was 14 of us and what an amazing day we had. Food was on point as always but what makes the place is the staff, always go above and beyond. Just wanted to say thanks for today.

Had a great meal the starters were amazing (garlic mushrooms and chicken liver pate), my wife's pasta main was great and very tasty. My pizza main was edible I wouldn't say anything more to be honest. Service was amazing more check backs then I care to mention and very reasonable in price too.

Daughter loved her 16th birthday meal here. Loads of choice, genuinely friendly service- and after a quiet word, a rousing rendition of Happy Birthday from the staff... and a few of the customers!

What a shame! Used to be a lovely place! Food inedible. Chips were the dry, cold and hard. Order two sticky toffee puddings which were £5.25 each and they were still in the wrapper from the shop they bought them in! Never again

I'm back next Saturday so I will get photos of my Supa Delicious food, mussels and prawns in a spice tomato sauce, plus extra hot Chicken & Pepperoni pizza with lots of Garlic. Really lovely people and food.

Pricing weird. charged 2.50 for a glass of table water! and extra charges for 1 dessert but had deal of 3 course meal. Busy at the time and lovely waiters but had 3 waiters taking drinks. dessert and table service took a while. However Chicken and vegetable soup was amazing. Other courses so-so and ordinary. Probably will not visit again.
