Hoy para entrar con muletas con ganas de comer después de la cirugía de rodilla. El reto con las muletas es que no puedes cargar nada. Shah, que me sirvió, vio que esto iba a ser un desafío y se ofreció a llevar la comida a una mesa para mí, a pesar de que la cola era enorme. En mi mente el estaba yendo más allá y gracias Shah por ayudar.

Tuve una experiencia muy desagradable en esta panadería hoy. El miembro del personal que me atendió fue extremadamente grosero y poco profesional. Ella me preguntaba qué producto quería en tono sarcástico, lo que me parecía muy irrespetuoso, especialmente dada la larga cola que había detrás de mí. Parecía que ella estaba tratando de burlarse de mi inglés, como si le mostrara a todo el mundo que mi inglés no es lo suficientemente bueno para ser entendido. Soy un hablante de inglés no nativo, y este comportamiento me hizo sentir muy incómodo y humillado. Para empeorar las cosas, la señora detrás de mí en la cola sabía exactamente lo que quería, así que ¿por qué no lo sabía el miembro del personal? Su actitud arruinó completamente mi día. No volveré aquí de nuevo y no recomendaría este lugar a nadie que valore el servicio al cliente decente.

Servicio al cliente decepcionante Fecha real de la visita 3 de enero de 2023 Un lugar agradable, con comida de buena calidad, pasteles y bebidas calientes, etc. Es una pena que esta tienda sea decepcionada por un servicio no amigable con el cliente, especialmente por la gerente femenina. Ella siempre es hostil y de aspecto miserable, y lucha por responder incluso a un saludo de Feliz Año Nuevo de mi parte, un cliente! No busco amigos, solo un buen servicio , respetuoso y de calidad. Muy decepcionante como he estado yendo allí durante años, pero ya no voy a ser cliente de esa tienda. Sé que otros clientes han mencionado el mismo problema que el gerente. La tienda también necesita una buena limpieza. Hay algunos buenos empleados allí, pero, como otros en el pasado, me pregunto si se quedarán. La alta gerencia necesita ver cómo gestionan a su personal y cómo mantienen la ayuda y tratan al cliente con respeto. Una fuerza laboral feliz solo puede ayudar al negocio y retener a los clientes también. Después de todo, todos los negocios dependen de sus clientes repetidos y nuevos para sobrevivir y especialmente dados los tiempos que vivimos actualmente.

La comida era buena como siempre, pero cuando salí hoy a eso de las 11. 45 Me di cuenta de que había dejado mis gafas de sol. He intentado llamarte todo el día y que me digan que vuelva a llamar. Por favor, puede confirmar si tiene o no mis gafas. ¿Es demasiado esperar una respuesta por favor

Vino a tomar un café y un pastel con un colega esta mañana. Shah era brillante, tan amable y personal. Gracias por hacernos sonreír.

Wigmore Street branch, where I go everyday is not only the best bakery/coffee shop in town - is also has the best staff at every level. It is a joy to enter to smiley faces every morning - ThanK You

I am a regular in the mornings at this branch. I am always given excellent service, and big shout to Shah who is always smiling and efficient. The staff are great at making customers feel welcome.

Took ages to get a coffee. People were waiting with food that had been already warmed but going cold while they waited for their drink. Toilets also needed attention.

The coffee and the food were good, most of the staff were nice apart from the very rude man at the counter who went out of his way to be unpleasant. Such a shame.

I have visited Ole & Steen on Wigmore street to get a coffee, after a very nice welcome from Maureen (who was very professional and knowledgeable about the product's) I left the store with pastries and their delicious Chia Rye bread, will definitely go back.

Delicious German bakery in Marylebone. Coffee was delicious and creamy. Highly recommend the strawberry tart. The pastry, custard and strawberries were delcious.

This is a lovely place and the bread is amazing but some of the staff need to stay at home. The experience this morning was awful. The manager ( lady) was not only rude to her staff she was unpleasant towards me. She asked the young lady to slice my bread but obviously she had not been trained so she said she does not know how to do it . Instead of working her through she just barked at her to serve the next customer and stomped off . She then proceeded to take her frustration on my order to my amusement. She then slammed my order on the counter with a “ your order is ready come back again” it was funny to watch If you are having a bad day please just stay at home ! The other guys there are actually nice and friendly ( 2 gentlemen) And I will be putting another complaint in to customer service.

Fantastic place if you’re looking for fresh pastries. Also had a ham and cheese toastie which was nice. Would certain recommend the chocolate cinnamon roll.

Staff are so rude at this branch and never make you feel welcome. I ordered a coffee and a croissant and when I asked where my croissant is - the girl shouted across the counter and said “did you even pay for it” I have to prove payment before she gave the croissants. I then asked her to come and speak to me about her service and she just rolled her eyes, mumbled under her breath and walked off! I asked the manager for the complaints procedure and was given an email address. 2 weeks later still no acknowledgement from this email. Just awful! I would rather give my money to a friendlier coffee shop next time. Shame they keep getting away with such awful service!

A nice place, with good quality food, pastries and hot drinks etc. It's a shame this shop is let down by a non customer friendly service, especially by the Female Manager. She is always hostile and miserable looking, and struggles to respond even to a Happy New Year greeting from me, a customer! I am not looking for friends, just a good , respectful and quality service. Very disappointing as I have been going there for years but will no longer patronise that shop. I know other Patrons have mentioned the same issue re that Manager. The shop also needs a good clean. There are some good staff there but, like others in the past, I wonder if they will stay. Senior management needs to look at how they manage their staff and aid retention and treat the customer with respect. A happy looking workforce can only help the business and retain customers also. After all, all businesses are dependent on their repeat and new customers for survival and especially given the times we currently live in.

Saturday November 5th lunchtime. No where to sit upstairs as tables are occupied with people and their laptops neither eating or drinking. I asked the manger is this their policy to let people sit for hours purchasing nothing he said he couldn’t do anything. The staff preparing the food are rude and get the orders wrong. It’s a shambles. Dirty tables piled high with plates and cups. It’s not cheap either so I suggest going somewhere else. Won’t be returning.

How to rate a place where the beverages are exemplary and the pastries exquisite but the service is appalling. I’ve previously complained about the interminably slow wait for coffee and today was no better despite two members of staff at the two espresso machines. But the division of labour in which the female barista uses the machine to make coffee and her male companion adds milk simply doesn’t work as it means only one machine is in operation at any one time. But what happened today takes the biscuit not just metaphorically but almost literally. I had placed my pastry, something called a Spandauer, with a delectable lemon curd centre, presumably craved by Rudolf Hess whilst in jail, on a free table as I waited for my double espresso only to notice it having been removed by a female member of waiting staff, usually reluctant to clear tables at all, and placed on a tray for disposal somewhere downstairs. I detected, intercepted and retrieved the said Spandauer just in front of a lift. My fanfare of disapproval even prompted my coffee. So 5/5 fir quality of the food and drink, 1/5 for service makes a median of 3.

The staff get orders wrong or forget orders - with no apology. Previously I came in here and waited with queue forming while counter staff rearranged his pastries. Poor customer service! Cinnamon social is good. But unfortunately the staff at this location need further training.

This place is amazing. The pastries are incredible (the sharing cinnamon bun is to die for) and there was a great selection of wraps and salads. Nice coffee too.

Fresh pastry and amazing capuccino made with vegan milk. Love that there are soy free options. Staff was attentive and polite, very positive time. Came for a catch up and coffee with a colleague and friend.

Miserable and rude staff - cant be bothered attitude and God forbid they break into a smile!!! One staff member just stood in front of the pastry selection despite being able to see that I was struggling to see what was available. A smile and welcome greeting doesn't cost anything and this very standoffish behaviour means I won't be returning, despite the lovely food.

If you're looking for a quick meal then go for the brie, bacon and avocado toasted sandwich. If it's dessers you're after then honestly everything looks great but the apple pie was fantastic.
