Great service from the staff. As soon as someone left, a staff member would come along and wipe it down. The manager was very friendly and fast in the service. Good atmosphere. Cleanest weatherspoons I've ever been in. Excellent staff and management. I only had lots of cocktails, no food, but I saw others enjoying their grub. A+++ for who ever runs it

Can't go wrong with a weather spoons

I have reviewed this bang average Wetherspoons a few years back. It hadn't changed in the slightest. Not a particularly large bar area with an equally sized dining section to the rear of the place. No outside seating whatsoever as the pavement to the front is narrow and there's no garden. Inside, there are plenty of gaming machines to keep people happy. The coffee machines are in the bar rather than the dining area. The food is always pretty good here, but the clientele really don't seem to be that discerning. I sat amongst mostlt East Europeans and Romanian builders with the odd few Indians having a vegetarian option. One chap kept the tables clear with a trolley to collect all the plates and stuff. He was also the main server who brought the food out to us. All in all it's quite neat and clean and the parking is easy across the road in the side streets.

We could not find a place on Saturday evening as it was packed but had breakfast on Monday morning and the atmosphere was totally different. It was calm. We were served quickly. Portions were good and the hit chocolate was divine.

Visited for lunch on a very busy Thursday afternoon. Pub was packed, although it isn't an easy issue to fix the pub is too small for purpose, in the middle of London's West End a 'spoons needs to be multiple floors not one narrow level. Service was quick and friendly, drinks were great. Food was not so good, I had fish and chips and whereas the fish was brilliant the chips were solid, either still frozen or had been left out for far too long.

Visité este pub el viernes peor experiencia alguna vez consiguió una mesa ok entonces salió mal el pescado y patatas fritas era incomible y el café era como agua de plato no me malinterpretes la cerveza estaba bien, pero querido para un pub Wetherspoons y si te gusta ser como una sardina las mesas están para cerrar no volvería a visitar.

Staff so helpful even keeping food warm waiting for a last person in party to arrive. So friendly with children

The food was good value for money. But the treatment of one of the waiters in particular was fatal. We had a coffee thinking it was part of lunch and without any explanation he rudely took it away from the table.

Great place for an early breakfast before the world wakes up in the centre of leicster square.

Was a Saturday and very busy. Seems like a nice atmosphere early on in the day as well. Went there for birthday drinks. Not a bad place to pop in and get a few rounds in before a meal.

Ate well and enjoyed but I have to me mention that they refused to warm the food that we brought for our 1 year old kid...i guess it is too much help to ask...

A combination of one of the worst but also most expensive wetherspoons in the country

Buena comida, servicio rápido y muy asequible para la ubicación. El personal era amable y estaba limpiando mientras estábamos allí, su "ocupado" y las mesas están cerca uno del otro, pero vale la pena soportar esto para la comida y el servicio.

I was pleased with the waiter polite service, but the bar staff "dark blonde hair" male with moustache rudeness was a concern.

Reliable food that you get from spoons but far too many tables for the size of the pub ( uncomfortably rammed)

A very nice place to go to ,staff was very friendly and checked two times. To make sure we had everything that we ordered and anything else they could help us with, i was very happy with the service

Absolute scam. Bought 2 drinks for £25 anticipating them being pitchers however, they brought back 2 small glasses of cocktails with the waiter adding a « you got scammed » remark. The worst Wetherspoons I’ve been to. Would never go again.

Typical spoons decent food, good table service and an endless supply of hot drinks You get what you pay for but the breakfast is hard to beat

Slightly more expensive than your average Wetherspoons which is understandable being in a tourist area. The pub is very small so you might struggle to find a table during peak times. We came in for breakfast and you can’t fault it for £6.99, the bacon actually had some colour for a change!

Nice pub good atmosphere in the middle of Leister Square

Unsurprisingly due to the location the prices are more expensive than your average Spoons. What is surprising is that it is absolutely rammed when it isn't a particularly great Spoons and the prices are expensive, why not go to a more historic or fun pub?

Pretty good choice of meals for you to enjoy, usual options available plus cater for vegetarians as well as those that like a burger. Plenty of choice for drinks, ale's, lager and wine plus a variety of spirits and mixer's, and soft drinks. Outdoor seating as well as indoor, always pretty busy due to price and location... Worth a visit when in London to enjoy the sights as so central to a lot of things going on.

Where can you get a great meal plus an alcoholic drink for under £15 in Leicester Square? Wetherspoons of course! I had a huge portion of chicken ramen that was better than Wagamama plus a G&T. Fast friendly service.

Cheap location and fast service for central London

Really liked it in here, spotless, not at all intimidating & the bouncer on the door was lovely really polite beautiful smile. The food cod & chips did not disappoint very reasonable prices on bottled beer will be returning

A well located Wetherspoon's pub close to Leicester Square. Always very busy and difficult to get seated. Contrary to almost all other Wetherspoons, this one, because of its location, has meals and drinks at normal London prices. Well, what would you expect! It's still good if you're there.

The bar was packed, got to the back and found a table, the one thing with a wetherspoons pub no matter where it is the Abbott is always really good -often better than in a Green King pub. We eat the food was fine and the beer free with the meal you can’t beat this prices even in the west end, they are reasonable.

The food here is good. Bar service is also prompt. However, the young woman serving the tables was sullen toward me for reasons unknown.

Pretty good spoons in a convenient location

Despite the place is crowded with customers, once you are seated the service is quick and nice. The cousine is nothing fancy, but is of a good quality and so are the beers. Cheers!

Good pub. Highly recommended. Prices have increased and portions are smaller. Find Wetherspoon in Lewisham much better. But in the city center this is the best. Not so loud and sits well.

The waiter with braids doesn't know how to treat people, he yells at anyone, he has no education and he breaks the atmosphere, it's not worth going.It doesn't have good ranges of armed drinks and the menu is poorly indicated.one of the worst drinks I have ever had in my life and I am drinking in more than 26 countries, the drinks are confused with water because they are so diluted.

Very busy and small spoons. Toilets small had to queue for them every time. Was walking around for 45 minutes trying to get a seat, but it was london at xmas, everywhere was rammed. Food was as expected with spoons. Staff were incredibly busy but still helpful.

Me and my wife looking for food got turned away at 5pm on a Thursday for being "drunk". Neither of us had been drinking

It's a really busy place, it doesn't sell alcohol until 12, so it's a nice place to go for breakfast, after that it's chocker, very small but still cheap for a drink.

We've never eaten here so can't say anything about the food. But it's a good pub, always has good beers as Wetherspoons always do. The staff are friendly and it's good on prices too

This is great place in city centre for drinks and quick bites. Affordable prices, food was prepared very quickly, not the best quality but it was OK. The best from the menu is curry, or veggie burger. The place is non stop full so grab the first table you see 😁

Had a good experience at JD Wetherspoon in Leicester Square! The place is a quite busy place. Well, it's a good place to grab a casual drink or meal. The menu had a great variety of options, and the food was tasty. The staff were good. It was a busy spot, especially being in Leicester Square, but the service was quick. Overall, it’s a great spot if you’re looking for food and drinks in a central location. I’d definitely recommend it for anyone in the area – good value for money and a pleasant experience all around!

What is expected at Wetherspoons: acceptable food, at an acceptable price. All day brunch with a pint for approx £15. Personally, this chain is a safe bet throughout the United Kingdom despite the bad reputation it sometimes gets.

Normally nobody will come to take order at the table

It was one of the most disgusting and infuriating experiences of my life, all because of a drunk, racist girl. 🤗 When we arrived at the pub, we couldn’t find any seats. Someone kindly offered us theirs, but then this girl came over and demanded that we share the table with a couple. While we were perfectly fine with sharing, what happened next was beyond insulting. She had the audacity to talk to the couple as if my friend and I couldn’t understand English, using a blatantly disrespectful and condescending tone. It was a clear act of racism, and her attitude was absolutely disgusting. What made the situation even worse was the sad reality that no one around us stepped in to help or say anything. It felt incredibly isolating and disappointing to see people just stand by and do nothing. Although the manager was decent and we usually enjoy Wetherspoons, this experience completely ruined our night. I’ve never been more disappointed. Thanks for giving us that experience.🫶

The establishment was clean and busy from a mixture of locals and tourists. Great prices on alcohol and non alcoholic beverages. They do offer food but I will didn't order anything on this occasion so I could not make any comments on this.

City centre Wetherspoons tucked in the corner of Leicester Square.Always busy. Long and narrow so not easy to move about. Handy for cinemas, theatres etc.

Not disabled friendly, the tables are way too close to eachother so you can't get out to go to the toilet or refill your hot drink or go to the bar. It gets super busy and it is usually so noisy too. The staff are kind and the place is clean food is good

Expensive for a Spoons but cheap considering it's location. Didn't eat but the beer was good, the staff were friendly and very busy with it. The only bad thing was the WiFi signal, we sat in an alcove by the bar and it was very intermittent.

Usual good Wetherspoons breakfast. It was quiet but friendly staff. They don't serve alcohol until 10am on a Sunday. Only 3 cubicles in the ladies which is inadequate, I'd hate to be in there needinf rhe loo on a busy night

A bit more expensive than your typical Wetherspoons but you can’t beat the location, right in Leicester Square. There’s a small outdoor seating area and it’s even smaller inside. You’ll struggle to find a table her during peak times. Best thing to do is grab and outdoor table and sit and watch the world go by. Order using the app to get food and drinks delivered to your table.

Look: it’s a Spoons. You get exactly what you come for, and you shouldn’t expect anything more. The bargains are great and I love ordering to the table. That said: the Paloma I was served was the most sickeningly sweet concoction I’ve ever been sad enough to drink. Please for the live of god, spoons, it tasted like pure sugar. Other than that, grand. Good work and a pat on the back to your bouncers who are genuinely working really hard in a venue of this location.

Good value for location but staff bringing out food were not very happy about something, smashed the plates down on our table which we thought was an accident but the next dishes were served in the sameway, possibly because we were well squashed around a table (but aren't all pubs on a Saturday? Just as we were getting over the loud crack made from the wetherspoins heavy weight china plates hitting the table, one of the group of old ladies that were sitting behind us got a plastic cup out of handbag, she appeared to be looking for something (imagine a handbag like Mary poppies) what appeared to be a manager shot over to there table and started berating the lady and that he knew what "she was up to" I genuinely don't know what he thought she was doing and I don't think she was intending to do anything malicious she was genuinely looking through her bag. Maybe one day I will find out why having a plastic cup in wetherspoons causes such a furore. Probably won't visit this one again. the toilets are on the same level and not too far, which is one positive.
