Came across this place while exploring London on our first day here from Australia. The place was absolutely pumping at 11am in the morning, it was incredible to see. We didn’t intend to eat, but our son was hungry for bacon & eggs, and the breakfast menu was decent. Not to mention the prices, even better! Really great pricing for all items, I think our bill came to £12, that was for bacon, eggs on toast, mushrooms, hash browns and Halloumi. We really enjoyed the food and the place. I noticed they have a free refill station for tea and coffee too. Very handy.

Disinterested bar manager and an I don’t care attitude. I and 15 colleagues ate elsewhere, which is a lot of money to lose

4 of us came here prior to theatre experience. The food and drinks are all cheap, good variety on menu, however portion sizes were quite small.Cheap and cheerful.

No issues with bar staff as it wasn’t too busy so was served almost immediately. However flush did not work in the toilets. Dirty and unhygienic.

It is what it is - plenty of choice on the beers front, relatively cheap for the area, dis interested staff and all round a fairly dispiriting pub trip. That said, most of the other pubs nearby were not open early so fair play to spoons.

In Central London its always good to go to Wetherspoons as you know exactly what you are getting & paying.

Typical of any Spoons you go to, most of what you want is sold out / unavailable. If you are tall, good luck squashing into the tiny spaces as there is little space at each table.

I came here with my wife after taking a night bus tour. We asked if the kitchen was open and they said it was. I ordered chicken strips that came out suspiciously fast. Next morning I ended up throwing up violently and discovered I had food poisoning. Not something you want on a once a life time vacation. I was sick for a full day throwing up non stop. Would not recommend this place to anyone.

Fast service and excellent fish and chips in central London!

I didn't like it here, over priced drinks, and it was over crowded + The elder barman has messed up my order because he was too busy ID'ing me. I do not recommend it for students

In a fantastic location in Leicester Square. Perfect for a cheap pint, obviously its normally quite busy inside, but, there's also a small area outside to watch all the crazy goings on.

Food and service was great. It’s just usually very busy and a bit crowded inside. Feels a bit claustrophobic. But people really seem to like it there and again, food and service was really great!

You know exactly what to expect at a Wetherspoons. The choice of drinks is good and as usual the prices are cheaper than other pubs within the area. Plenty of seating within in the pub and outside in the smoking area.

Fantastic location, 1 min walk from The Tower of London. Decent amount of tables, just enough to normally be able to get a seat. Expensive food for spoons, however happy to pay due to location. Quality of food is normal spoons.

The Wetherspoons in London is like your typical local spot, just a bit more crowded than others. It's hard to say if that's a good or bad thing, but one thing's for sure, it's the perfect spot for cheap drinks with friends in London!

Weatherspoon bars are always recommended in the UK. This pub in the heart of London has everything you would expect from a pub. Delicious drinks, solid food and a good atmosphere. The Pimms tasted excellent here, the service was super quick and friendly. The atmosphere is quaint and English. You can definitely spend a few good hours here.

This is the best weatherspoons I have been in by far. We went for breakfast all 3 mornings we were in London it was that nice and hot.

Absolutely bad service. Ordering via the app didn't work and he then forgot the order at the bar. We waited 1 hour.

Clean, reasonably priced for London and staff was helpful. Food portion size was the major let down.

Very friendly service, all the waitresses are very friendly. The food is fast food, it is not quality but the prices are low. I ordered a burger that was dry and looked like plastic. The drinks are well priced and there is a great variety. There are games for children.

It's a busy spoons and therefor you get to pay a higher price for a smaller portion of food. But if you manage to get a table at the back you can watch the staff chat and hangout along with one of the cooks bring back a Five Guys burger and eat that between going in and out of the kitchen. Probably better places near by, like Five Guys.

A little on the smaller side but a pleasant and characterful place nonetheless! It was extremely busy when we visited however the movie premiere for Challangers was on right outside, so I’m not surprised. A little more pricey for a Wetherspoons but what can you expect in the heart of London? I would definitely visit again.

I wanted an English Breakfast (not necessarily the full/traditional version) on my last day in London. So I went to The Moon Under Water Pub in Leicester Square. What I liked about this Pub, is they had several variations of English Breakfast and I ordered the Freedom Breakfast - which had all the items I love. It was delicious! The service was good. Someone behind the bar helped me with my order and the person bringing the food to the tables was quick and friendly. There was also another person cleaning up and they were very polite. This was in a fantastic location - and I went early enough to beat the crowds on a Friday. I would eat here again!

Worse eggs I have even eaten. With floppy cold toast.

Spoons in middle of Leicester square, surprisingly always managed to get a table and the toilets are actually on the same floor as the bar!!!! No mountaineering equipment needed!!! :) One of our faves !

Horrible attention. I asked if they sold anything gluten-free, they treated me very badly and told me to look at the screens which were collapsed and not working. Bad attention from employees.

Visited for breakfast - friendly staff, lovely food, good atmosphere.

Think about arriving happily or arriving after 8:30 p.m. because it's a very full pub where there are a lot of people and activities. We just had fish and chips so not very great cuisine, pleasant staff as well as the waiters.

I ordered 3 double cheese burger but one came with out cheese so I went to the bar and requested some help, after few minutes a Waitrose came to help. They add the cheese on same dish and was everything cold so I called the Waitrose and he send me the manager. The conversation started like( what you want) explained that cheese is cold and my friend almost finish their meal and I’m a chef asking him if was a joke, I replied that he don’t care that I’m a chef and that the cheese is cold normally I tried to explain that the cheese is cold because the meat was cold but I did not listen and went away sending me another Waitrose. End of the story is that they bring me again hot food after 5 minuti with out chips. So disappointed that never happen something like this ever in my life.

Come, try to find a table, choose your food from the menu, look at the table number and go order your food, choose your drink, pay, give the table number where you sat, wait for the waiter with your meal, enjoy the atmosphere.

I recently visited this Wetherspoon pub in central London, conveniently located just seconds away from the Odeon cinema in the same square. The familiar Wetherspoon menu offers a great variety of options at an economical price, though the prices here are roughly 20% higher than what I’m accustomed to at other Wetherspoon locations. Still, it’s quite affordable compared to other dining options in London. I’ve given this visit a three-star rating for several reasons. Firstly, the pub was exceptionally busy when I visited at around 2:30 PM on a Friday. It was so packed that I ended up sitting next to a fruit machine on what was more a shelf than a table. While the food arrived promptly, the service left a bit to be desired. The server did not inform me about the availability of condiments nor did they check on my satisfaction with the meal—a courtesy I’ve come to expect at Wetherspoon pubs. The venue did have its positives—the toilets were clean and the coffee machine was well-stocked with a good variety of options. However, the overall experience was just average. The lack of personal touch from the serving staff and the crowded space significantly impacted my enjoyment of the visit.

We went here for a few drinks but there was no seating so we stayed around the bar and drank outside.. the bar staff are friendly and helpful, and the crowd in there was good too, nice spot but not much atmosphere and difficult to get a seat.

We did not eat here as we already had some snacks outside we went in and ordered a couple of beers nice place, good vibes, ample amount of variety in beers good and amazing they have sitting inside as well as outside the bar Please check the menu before ordering as it is much recommended Cheers 🥂

Friendly staff and atmosphere! Clean and tidy. My sister left a shopping bag there and when she phoned the guy was so helpful and offered to post in on to her! 5⭐️ for sure!

Adore Wetherspoons Fast, cheap and tasty

It's a Spoons so you know what your getting. Much smaller than any other I have been in before but that means it's not a mile for the loo!!!

The worst Wetherspoon I've done in all of England. The unfriendly staff, when you ask a question the response is a grunt (he clearly preferred to discuss rather than work). The tray with the drinks is thrown on the table, the food is lukewarm and the garlic bread (if we can call it that) is simply a kind of uncooked pancake dipped in oil. One star is too much for the staff when I see how we were treated. I highly recommend the one on Baker Street where the staff and the cuisine were great!!

Honestly, this Wetherspoon is so expensive for its usual standards and the location so small it's difficult to find a seat. It had no pitchers and most of the drinks had run out.

I sought this place out as I was wandering around central London on the Sunday morning of the Chinese New Year festivities in early February. It turned out to be much smaller than I had anticipated but I was lucky enough to find a small table (for 4 persons/midgets) close to the entrance. I then went to the bar to order the full English breakfast, a large glass of chilled orange juice and a mug for refill coffees/hot chocolate. My food came relatively quickly and was the good, standard offering which you can get anywhere in a Wetherpoons pub. Good quality, reasonable large plate full and great value. Each time I went for a refill coffee I had to ensure that my table wasn't snapped up by the many people coming and going in this place. When I eventually left, the eager German ladies close by descended on my table like vultures giving me a dirty look as much as to say how dare I occupy such a table as a solo diner...

I visited this pub a couple of years ago and was amazed at the service and quality of the food . I had fish and chips and have to say it was restaurant quality and a very good portion. When I visited today I was extremely disappointed with both service and food. It was hardly what one would call busy yet I had to ask for the table to be cleared of empty glasses. As for the meal it was awful. The chips were of poor quality and quantity and the fish was very poor , more batter than fish and very small . Terrible. I did not make a complaint at the time but certainly won't be returning or recommending to my friends and family.

The card reader machine and the app weren't working. Only had enough to buy a drink. We would have liked food as well.

The service was fairly poor if I'm honest the food was as good as what you'd expect from a spoons. I was giving a server my order when I went to pay she then told me afterwards that they were only taking cash after letting me give my whole order. When I came back with cash she took a phone call halfway through my order though there was someone next to her seemingly not busy. The pizza was nice but could've done with more sauce base to cheese ratio, when asked If I could have a box to take it home in a lady handed me a flat pack unmade pizza box! I thought it was hilariously ridiculous, I made up my box and then left after the fun 🙄 activity. I'm normally pretty chill as have worked in hospitality but apparently the staff seemed to have something against me that day. First time visit and definitely the last.

Recently went to this pub for food and drinks, fantastic! especially the spicy meat feast pizza, great location, we would definitely return.

Saturday morning in Leicester Square and it’s time for a hearty breakfast at The Moon Under The Water. Hopefully… We order a couple of traditional breakfasts, settle in with coffee and wait for the morning to appear. Considering it’s a weekend in central London, the pub is bustling without being too busy. We found a table easily and the staff at the bar made ordering the food a quick and easy job too. After a short wait, the breakfast duly arrived. The Moon is a Wetherspoons establishment and as such you already know the score before you even order. Inexpensive food that does the job without being memorable for the quality. Considering where we were though, we were genuinely impressed with our meals. The food was hot, always a bonus and cooked nicely. The bacon was almost crispy, and the sausage was done nicely too. The toast was evenly toasted and the butter, despite it’s almost diamond hardness did eventually spread well. A couple of well-done hash browns finished the meal off perfectly. The plates were drenched with HP and the breakfasts eaten greedily. A really enjoyable start to the day in nice surroundings.

So busy and no where to sit. We left after 5 mins. It was chaos in there.

Worst weatherspoons ever, staff don't speak English I had to ask 11 yes eleven times for an r whites lemonade, ordered food and it was all wrong, ill not be coming back to this bar again.

It honestly smells like body odour there you can suffocate! the atmosphere is disgustingly filthy where there’s food everywhere on the floor & always so packed. Never again!!

As a flying visit here I recommend coming here when taking photos around Leicester Square.

Unable to really give any proper review. Nice inside but no card payments and app did not work so will return again. Shame as have always enjoyed this place but proof that sometimes technology is not the way forward.

Bar friendly. And clean in bar and eating areas only. But sadly, ladies' toilet facilities had a very strong unpleasant smell. And probably the worst toilet facilities I've been to in a Wetherspoons as whole

I'm often in London for weekend catch up with friends. I find some Spoons have kinda lost their edge in the Capital - but not this one! Quick service as always, god drinks choice, plenty seats in good layout. I was in need of an afternoon livener after a treck!

Nice pub with the well-known system that you order via app. The staff is friendly and quick, but there is a lot going on so it can take a while for the order to be processed. Otherwise, of course, a top location on London's Westend.

Fantastic place and very good fish and chips

I have been to 5 spoons while on my trip here to london and this is the worst one. Beer is 7 pounds, and I got what seems to be a rotten lemon with it. Could be better
