Caffe Nero - Haymarket in City of London, Westminster

Nice clean coffee shop. Hot chocolate is lovely. Not keen on paninis but cakes looked good. Expensive

Unfortunately my experience was finish before start. While i do know that all Neros accept blue light card discounts i get told that the do Not accept bluelight on there store. And over my question barista wasn’t aware why they’re not accepting while on the internet was showing that Nero was offers blue light discount. Unfortunately was disappointed experience..

Servers are often quite grumpy, but the coffee is my reason for returning here, as it's decent and not overpriced. With free Vitality Life coffees, or stamps on the loyalty card, it's worth it. Shame they charge extra for non-dairy milk - most of us don't choose it out of choice. Starbucks doesn't charge for non-dairy milk. Pastries are decent. There's plenty of options with the porridge.

The tea was good (nice big teabag), but the blueberry muffin was dry. I only managed two bites and gave up. Service was curt and disinterested.

Ordered a Tiramisu latte to go. The lady who was not making my order, wanted to help out her college she dropped the biscuit in my coffee, then put the lid on. After mentioning to the Barista that she not suppose to put it inside she got offended after i told her and she was asking me , if i want another biscuit. She was giving attitude. I told her that is not about the biscuit, is about that she just ruined my coffee. They did not offer to remake the coffee, however the lady who actually served me did apologise. As im working in Hospitality myself, i know that this attitude is not acceptable, especially if i did a mistake and a costumer is right.

Was a good stop whilst walking about in the city. Far better than the other coffee shops.

The service was pathetic. The female (2 women) were rude and disrespectful. I understand that it was the busy time of the day but you can remove your stress on customers. I asked for a ketchup after placing my food and drinks order and one of them replied and I quote "you should ask for ketchup when u order food as its not free and we charge 12p per sachet". I replied i don't mind paying but you can be polite and not rude. I have been regular at nero and this outlet has been by far my worst experience.

Compré dos aguas que estaba bien. Luego quise usar el baño solo tienen 1 cola de 5 personas esperó 5 minutos y se fue. ¡Necesitan conseguir otro!

Although this place is also in Turkey, it is definitely more classy and more affordable.

Cafe Nero is one of my favorite coffee brands in UK but I love this particular outlet as it’s the best place to take a cup of cafe Nero and enjoy it at Piccadilly Circus! Having coffee at such a lively place hits different !

Deserve their three star review. Barisatas do not know how to steam milk. Returned my first cappuccino due to very long shot of espresso and just hot milk with no foam. Second the same.

I usually visit this store in the evenings and normally the staff are so lovely. However I visited this shop at 7pm on Tuesday and there were two people behind the bar one, one was training as it says on her shirt and the other was wearing a regular t shirt. I was very dissatisfied with how they were talking to customers and doing their job as for me it was below standard as to not greeting customers and talking to them as they don't want to work. (very unpleasant) I could tell the Female worker doesn't know very much English or knowledge about the products. As she was obviously training its up to her Male co-worker to help her however it seemed like he didn't really help her and he was being a bit rude but she was still trying her best. The tables and the order of the store was an absolute mess and im honestly really disappointed as im normally used to really good service from this store. hopefully you can take some advice from this message. Thank you.

Very good coffee, good service and pastry.

Unfortunately, I was not satisfied with my visit to this cafe. The service from the staff was below all criticism. Also, we got the wrong coffee, which made the whole experience even worse.

UPDATE : TOILET UNACCEPTABLE! Not the best option, not clean/ well maintained, one of two toilets permanently our of order - strongly recommend other places.

The coffees are absolutely not worth the asking price! Dirty tables, not cleared. Unpleasant service. No sorting of packaging, everything is thrown directly into the trash (hello ecology!). Very dirty toilets, totally unworthy of the 21st Century! I don't really recommend.

I recommend that you train your staff, the first mistake is to assume what drink is to be taken away, it was to be drunk here, the boy didn't like that I told him it was to be drunk here, he could also ask before serving it, the other girl drags the chairs and He messes with them in a bad way and laughs because it bothers others. A quick pop in before the theatre. Lots of seats, very clean inside. Good coffee.

Coffee was great but food is not very appetizing, It has unconventional seasonings (ham and cheese with pepper!). People are not very friendly, you have to take your own food to your table.

They heavily advertised the maritozzo as a typical Italian dessert, but it didn’t even come close. The dough was hard and cold, and the cream was buttery, definitely not worth the £4. 🤨

Middle aged lady with brown hair was apathetic and seemed miserable, completely ignored what i ordered and made two of the drinks someone ordered before me and gave me one of those (which tasted absolutely disgusting fyi). I am disgusted that i even wasted anything on that drink, i wouldn’t have paid a penny. She had a horrible attitude and didnt even respond in words, just sassy grunts.

Les dije que tengo uno cada semana en Canary Wharf, y sabe completamente diferente a lo que él me ha estado sirviendo. It is a nice, cute and charming place, since it is Italian style, the coffees are nice and the prices are reasonable, more affordable than the workplaces in the center.

Sat 15th June 2024 at 13 : 00 , mucha gente escondida de la lluvia en el café Nerón , cola enorme, muchos niños , pedidos múltiples ... Qué increíble equipo de dos nos estaban sirviendo , fueron amables , atentos y ayudaron a todos, a pesar de la enorme carga de trabajo / presión en ese momento . La dama y caballeros en un equipo ocupado de dos : les aplaudimos 👏🏼 estamos muy bien hechos , café Nero a suerte de tenerlos en su equipo . Hasta la lluvia se ha detenido con un hermoso arco iris 🌈 al final ! Gracias , tan encantador ver el trabajo realizado con gran orgullo , cliente agradecido.

El teléfono de mis socios fue robado el 12 de junio en este café nero en henmarket. Mi pareja tiene autismo y estaba teniendo un ataque y un ladrón entró y nos apuntó, dejó un papel y fingió que quería dinero, cogió el teléfono cuando tomó el papel, y el personal no hizo nada. Debían saber lo que hacía esta mujer. Cuando nos dimos cuenta de que nuestro teléfono se había ido Le dije a la empleada detrás de la caja y ella dijo en el tono más tranquilo Lo siento, no hay cctv por ahí Solo detrás de la barra No se ofreció ayuda o incluso ninguna tranquilidad para dos personas que estaban muy, muy obviamente en pánico. Claramente pasa mucho si ella estaba tan desfasada. No volverá a un lugar que promueva el robo.

I do not recommend! Zero cleanliness, welcome and quality. We serve you the cappuccino on site in a cardboard glass.

Couldn’t bring myself to use the toilet after looking in to see the unhygienic mess there. Paid £4.20 for a cappucino with a friend and really just wanted a rest for a few minutes, but ended up having to clear a table to create room to sit down. Used cups and plates piled up everywhere. One employee was shouting down the stairs to get another person to come to the counter presumably to help with the long queue. Someone then came upstairs and left a plate of scones exposed on the counter - wasn’t interested in putting them under glass and in their proper place with other food. Completely disorganised, but Cafe Nero wont care as the customers kept coming. Not relaxing at all and quite risky to health.

Perfect coffee shop for a quick drink between visiting clients

Twice recently I have met a friend here for a coffee before going to the theatre. Both times it was scruffy, the queue was long, tables hadn't been cleared, the whole place looked dirty and run down. The first time I assumed they were short staffed, but this was still the case a few weeks later on my most recent visit, so I think Nero just don't have enough staff at this branch to do even the most basic things like clear and wipe tables, and keep the queue to a reasonable level. I've given 2 stars because the coffee was fine when I finally got it, but it was not nice to clear my own table which was still sticky and unpleasant. Not recommended.

If I order a coffee take away, and you charged me those 10 penies extra for serve inside, I may not complain, you make some money but you lost a client. It's really miserable scam clients like that

I became a huge fan of Caffe Nero while traveling in London. We were there for 10 days and I want to say we hit various Caffe Nero’s. The service as well as the coffee and food were consistently great. My kids loved the hot chocolate and I hit the cortado just about every time. Highly recommend without reservations.

My husband had the best hot chocolate he has ever had. He also enjoyed his blueberry muffin. I use Nero all the time and love it.

Quite central (and therefore often busy) Nero. They make efficient use of the space with a good number of tables, but it can still fill up at busy times. There's an outdoor seating area by the main road. Not always great service, as on my recent visit the staff member didn't even look me in the eyes as he silently stood in front of me waiting for my order. Took my drink order, told me the price then walked away leaving me to scan a credit card. I had to wait for him to come back to allow me to pay by app instead. At which point I suddenly got some eye contact and a big smile as he said "Can you give me five stars? 😁". I didn't.

I asked for a Mocha coffee three times and the guy make a late , T he table was dirty and not good customer service 😔.

It was just before Christmas and busy but behind the counter wasn't as clean as I'd expect to see. They didn't put chocolate on our cappuccinos and forgot the oat milk drink. The toilet needed attention too.

Service relativement froid, assez long et manque cruellement du sens de l'acceuil. Il y'a peu de monde mais la serveuse a quand meme reussi a se tromper dans une commande simple. Quant aux toilettes, un peu de ménage serait bienvenue. Bref, peu recommandable...

El café está muy bueno, me encanta el sabor y la intensidad del mismo. Además, no considero que sea carísimo. Por otra parte, me compré un vaso de plástico, que lo uso todos los días y me encanta porque es super resistente al calor, eso si, está SUPER SUCIO. Lo tenían allí desde hace mucho tiempo imagino, porque la cantidad de polvo que tenía no era normal jajaja. Igualmente, dejando este tema de lado, el café está muy bueno y el vaso es bastante útil, aunque no sea de cierre completo, que se salga el café si lo dejas de lado.

We’ve ordered some drinks and food around 3:30 and the female staff member doesn’t seem to be happy to sever customers. We ordered 3 luxury hot chocolate and she gave us with cappuccino cups. And also, we asked for one takeaway cappuccino and she gave us with dine in cup. When we ask to change for takeaway cup, her facial expression was disappointed. This is an unacceptable behavior to the customers as a customer service.

This is my regular coffee haunt and I love it. The service is always excellent and the staff very friendly and helpful. Very central location as well. Highly recommended.

This is a typical Cafe Nero which all do the same food and coffee but each branch differs purely by its service. This branch have good coffee and a good selection of cakes which is needed because it was absolutely packed. The service was ok 1 of the males was a little on the arrogant side and seemed unhappy to be at work but maybe he was just tired with constant customers coming in. Good views from the front window and nice comfy seating but as I said before it's a Cafe Nero once you have been to 1 there is not much variation but for me it's the best big chain coffee shop.

Really lovely and friendly staff. They deal efficiently with a queue that can go from 0 to 10 people in seconds. Coffee and food is consistently really good.

Middle aged, female barrister/ server with curly blonde hair serving at 17.30 on Saturday 14th October 2023 was rude and abrasive in her manner. Instead of giving any eye contact to serve me, 'she mumbled 'who's next?' Knowing too well I was next in line, a black female. She was short and abrupt when serving. Her cold attitude made me feel very unwelcome and I will never go in Caffè Nero again... I will make a point of telling others about this encounter also. I will be sure to go to Pret and Starbucks instead. In comparison, the white female customer who was after me was greeted with eye contact, a smile and, 'Hello, how can I help you?' Microagressions and racism have no place in public service. What a horrible women. And what a horrible experience in your establishment. If I could give a zero I would. I am giving particular detail to the description of this staff member to ensure management are aware that this is what is going on in their establishment. If she treated me like this, then she is treating others like me the same way also.

My best coffee in London and Cardiff

Les 2 commerçants les plus antipathiques de Londres. Pas un sourire, pas un mot d’accueil, pas un merci. Désolé de vous avoir dérangé pendant votre travail dans votre café mais rassurez-vous nous ne nous reverrons jamais. A éviter à tout prix.

Asked for cappucino in a stay in cup. Got a takeaway cup without chocolate sprinkles after asking for them. Then asked staff to clean my table. Didn't seem overly helpful. Shop was quiet at the time.. 2 staff and pretty much all tables dirty. No really urgency to clean them. Toilets dirty too.

Good professional and quick service. The coffee is really good. I like this as it is not too bitter or atrong it is a nice blend. I tend now to stay away from the pastries as the peices are just far too high. 3.20 for a scone!!! Before i would always buy a scone or almond croissant but now i stick with coffee only. The cafe is good, nicely spaced seats, good staff servixe. Even clearing the tables outside regularly. The toilets are a little bit below the standard of the store. Overall the store itself is getting 'tired'. But the staff service and the quality of coffee means it still is worth visiting. I like this one.

We came to this place because it was raining heavily. Coffee was good and aromatic. It was crowded but the place is nice and environment is ideal to get fix onyour coffee.

Just a short walk from Zedwell Piccadilly Circus, Café Nero offers a nice selection of drinks and eats to start your day before heading out and exploring London. Whether you want something simple or hardier, this place offers bright seating inside and outdoor spots as well, perfect for people watching. If you absolutely can't start your day without coffee, you won't go wrong stopping in at Café Nero.

Very bad service. Be careful when paying in cash. 8.7. the man serving me, stole 10£ from me. The bill was 11,25. I wanted to pay with 20£. He asked me if I had coins. I gave 2£ more, waiting to get 10£ 75 cents back, Well, I got 75 cents. When I asked about the 10£, he claimed that I gave him 10£ note and 2£ on coins. I had no 10£ note in my purce during the whole trip, so I knew my money, There was no point beginning to argue with him, he made it clear. If you have to go to this place, take a photo of your money when paying, if you don’t pay with card. Can’t recommend this place to anyone.

조용해서 좋긴 한데 라떼 컵 윗부분이 끈적끈적하게 더럽혀져 있었고 컵이 부족한지 매장에서 먹는데 뜨거운 라떼를 종이컵에 주고 메뉴판 보고 아이스 카푸치노 시켰는데 없다고 하고.. 그리고 제일 중요한 건 맛이 없어요 진짜 맛없어요
