Chez Antoinette in City of London, Westminster

We ordered a cold cuts platter and a bottle of wine, both delicious. But it wouldn't have been anything special if it weren't for the super friendly and wonderful service provided by the Brazilian Jairo. It was the difference!

Went for a drinks/snack last night, very centrally located but yet not feeling the waves of tourists such that you can still enjoy the atmosphere and hear your friend. The restaurant is located in the courtyard in the middle of the market. Food I would describe as no frills but authentic French brasserie style food. They have a great happy hour 2 for 1 till 7 pm. Staff are friendly and attentive and they remembered one of our 2 apero spritz was with soda and not prosecco when we re-ordered our drinks - that is attentive indeed

What we ordered was simple but delicious! Also, for those who have difficulty with English, the staff speaks French. I highly recommend the cold toast.

The last time I came here, the staff weren’t very friendly. I ended up coming back again because I met a friend after work that was already here. Same experience. It’s a little off-putting!

Nice patio, atmosphere and service but underwhelming food. Croque monsieur was not what you would be served in France. More like a good grilled cheese sandwich you would find in the US.

I stopped by for a bite hoping for a Croque Madame, but since that’s only served at brunch, I opted for the Croque Monsieur instead. And honestly, no complaints! It was perfectly crispy, cheesy, and full of flavor. My mom went with the goat cheese salad, which she enjoyed. Everything was fresh and beautifully presented. We also ordered an Aperol Spritz which could have used a bit more flavor. The staff was attentive and welcoming. Plus, the location is perfect if you’re heading to the Covent Garden markets. Would recommend!

While waiting for my phone to be repaired at the nearby Apple Store (hence no pics other than the bill), I had time to try the foie gras (with a glass of Riesling) at this lovely little restaurant with great sunny terrasse in Covent Garden. The Happy hour had just started and nearby there was live music. Very pleasant place to sit outside and great service with a smile by Constance.

Have visited here many times and usually enjoyable. Visited today and seated very quickly, after 15 minutes we still hadn’t received menus. A waitress asked if we’d ordered yet to which we replied no, she proceeded to slam down cutlery and menus and disappear again. After 15 more minutes, no one had come to take the order and a table that had sat down just a few minutes before this had received menus and were now having their order taken. At this point we decided to leave, very poor service when we have been before and it has been much busier and the service has been brilliant

Popped in here for a cuppa and cake. We were asked to move from a table of 4 to a table two as only two of us whuch was fine, however we sat there as only table not in the sun. The cafe was not busy Given two menus. The waitress was busy getting customers to pay. My husband asked the waitress when passing about the biscuits they sold. " what do you mean" she replued he answered it just says you have biscuits, what kind are they, she directed him into the cafe. No signs on anything in the cafe to say what the cakes or biscuits were so thought we would ask the waitress when she took our order. We waited a further 10 minutes as she went back and forth but still no service so we left. Really disappointed in her general attitude which was a pity as seemed a lovely cafe .

We were there for breakfast when there was still little activity. The breakfast was very nicely prepared and tasted delicious. The service was also very pleasant. You have to use Covent Garden's public toilets, which at that time of day was still possible without queuing.

For an English breakfast it’s really perfect. It’s hearty, generous, and just delicious homemade Placed in Covent Garden, just great The little extra thing is that he speaks French. And are very friendly

Food was okay, portions were a bit smaller than expected but well made. Coffee was very good, and the cake of the day as well.

Tanto mi esposa como yo pedimos ensaladas, y la mía —el confite de pato con manzana— fue especialmente abrumadora. Lo que recibí fue esencialmente media bolsa de lechuga, cubierta con pato graso y apenas un chorrito de aderezo. Incluía solo un tomate cherry y cuatro rodajas de papel - manzana delgada. Por el precio y la reputación, esperábamos algo mucho más considerado y bien preparado. Muy decepcionante.

Raclette Tartine is only available on the winter menu ending 31st March but it is very delicious.

Absolutely horrible and disappointing service when we went, waste of time! We visited on a Wednesday morning a while ago to grab breakfast, some time around 10:30, we were seated outside and given breakfast menus. The waitress came to take our drinks 20 minutes later, then we waited for her to come and take our meal order. She didn’t. She continued to serve other tables that weren’t us, to the point one table who was seated after us ended up getting their drinks and food order and finished (!) before we had even been able to order. When we were finally able to call over the waitress (who just absolutely would not make eye contact with us or check on us at all), we had been waiting so long (over an hour after arriving) that she told us we couldn’t order breakfast anymore, took our menus and gave us a lunch menu. We proceeded to ask for the bill and leave, because who knows how long we might have had to wait to actually order and receive a meal here? Incredibly disappointing, especially as my partner is French and had been excited to take me here (and we had stopped off on our anniversary). This did happen a while ago, but it has stuck in my mind and I couldn’t help but leave a review. I’m sure if we’d been able to try the food and had a different waitress perhaps our view of this place would be different, but unfortunately we don’t have anything nicer to say :(

A lovely selection of meats and cheeses. The location is particularly pretty, being on the basement terrace in the centre of Covent Garden. Would recommend for a scenic stop for some good charcuterie and cocktails/wine. Went with my friend Olivia

Pasé a almorzar antes de visitar el Courtauld. Aunque antes de las 12 es solo el menú de desayuno disponible esto no fue un problema en absoluto. Tuvimos la suerte de conseguir una mesa ya que no se puede reservar y este era un sábado cálido, así que Coven Garden fue embestido. My Eggs Royale estaba delicioso con un montón de salmón y Sue tenía el aguacate en tostadas con salmón, que era igualmente bueno. El servicio era amable y profesional, en general un gran lugar para comer en Covent Garden y a un precio razonable también.

Very tasty food and in reasonable prices

A breakfast “at Antoinette” is like a trip to France! Fresh and authentic products, tasty sandwiches, all in a cozy atmosphere in Covent Garden. Thanks to Romain for his warm and attentive welcome.

Very good food and great welcome

We had lunch at this charming restaurant located in Covent Garden, and really enjoyed the cozy atmosphere and lovely outdoor terrace. We both went for one of their tartines — I had the one with three cheeses and pear, and my husband chose the rilette tartine. Both were very tasty and nicely presented. The only downside for us was the price. At £9 to £9.50 each, it felt like quite a lot for what were essentially one slice of bread with toppings.

Excellent meal with a homemade casserole. On the other hand, a bottle of rosé at £44 goes less well

Ava was an amazing server! The food is excellent, and while they don’t have a kid’s menu, Ava recommended food that our 8 and 10 year old boys enjoyed!

Stopped briefly to have a wine as passing through the area. Very sweet place tucked away within Covent Garden. Very reasonably priced wines for central London. It’s a lovely cozy place and during the day it was very quiet and got seated promptly.

I visited the restaurant on Sunday and I was lucky to get a table. The staff was friendly and the blond Polish manager was amazing. He is like a fast machine!! He ensured that me and my friends were looked after. I highly recommend the coconut croissant! A bit pricey but ok for central London.

I have been to this Exceptionally Beautiful and Glorious 5 Star Award Winning Cafe once only. All of the Staff including the Manager whom all work in collaboration with each other are all Equally as lovely and friendly and very dedicated and talented people in their own ways. The Food Hygiene Rating's of this Exceptionally Beautiful Cafe have Exceedingly Excellent 5 Star Food Hygiene Rating's. The Cappuccino Coffee with Chocolate Sprinkled on was very nice and very Beautiful. The Homemade Apple Crumble was very Beautiful and Delicious and very tasty indeed. I would definitely like to come again to this Exceptionally Beautiful and Charming Cafe again in the Foreseeable Future all being well. This Cafe called Chez Antoinette in Covent Gardens is Extremely Popular with everybody including myself. This is a personal message for the owner of this Exceedingly Excellent 5 Star Award Winning Cafe which is I sincerely wish all of your Staff including you being the Owner of Chez Antoinette Cafe in Covent Gardens all the best for the foreseeable future. Last evening, I visited a remarkable establishment for a glass of white wine and was delighted to be presented with a carafe of exceptional white wine. The service was provided by a charming young gentleman from Poland, which resonated with me as I have Polish roots. He recommended the Pear Almond tart, a delightful choice that turned out to be nothing short of spectacular. I was served at the highest level in a very nice atmosphere and was looked after by him throughout my visit. Wholeheartedly recommend this unique place to everyone seeking a memorable atmosphere paired with outstanding culinary offerings.

La comida estaba bien, pero qué decepción encontrar los baños asquerosos, el orinal lleno de orina, sin papel higiénico en las damas, suciedad y mugre por todas partes. Me quedé asombrado cuando me quejé del estado de los baños el hombre de la puerta (pavimento) para que le dijeran que cruzara la carretera (a otro restaurante) estaría bien.

However, ignored by several staff waiting nearly 10 minutes before we were even acknowledged. seated at a tiny table with an extension lead hanging on the wall right by the table with several dirty cables. Update - Telephone call relating to issues and assured these would be addressed.

Sweet, small breakfast restaurant at very moderate prices. The only drawback: There is no toilet in the restaurant, only one in the center.

Small, cute shop with French flair and music, service was okay, but the food was way too expensive for the portion and presentation. It was carelessly prepared, too little and didn't taste particularly good. But it doesn't always seem to be the case, as some pictures of guests look much better.

Went for a solo lunch , loved the hospitality and the food . Ordered a desert in the end and the crème brûlée was one of the best I have ever had . Would end up going there again !

Noisy. Obliging young male server gave the best attention he could despite being clearly berated in French (?) by an older female who was visibly stressed. We think this was possibly due to him seating us at the first available table which was a small four seater instead of making us wait for an available table for two. This tirade made us feel very uncomfortable. As a result we just had a drink and left, choosing to eat elsewhere. No toilet facilities in the café; we were advised to use the public lavatories which had an extremely long queue and weren't free. We found alternative facilities.

Ate there with a friend. When I was serving it, I saw the server pulling a hair out of my food, she thought I didn't see it. When she left I put one of that friend's hairs in the food and told her there was a hair in it.

Had some amazing eggs royal. Salmon was great and the eggs Benedict were some of the best I've ever had. The thing that's stood out to me the most was the wonderful service. Amine was absolutely amazing and elevated the experience to a higher level. Highly recommend!!!

VIsited the restaurant about a week ago with family on a trip to london, The food was absolutely delicious and the location is perfect. Deducted one star for the nosyness of Covent Garden but can’t be helped!The service was absolutely great, my son can be uncooperative but the waitress was extremely understanding, friendly and catered to our every need. I asked for her name at the end but unfortunately it was very french and i couldn’t understand it to repeat here (sorry!), anyway she was an absolute delight and we will be recommending this place to our London family. Merci!

Absolutely pathetic. Service was non existent. The croque Monsiur is a typical ham and cheese toasty you would find in Greg's. But 12 pounds for the pleasure and 20 minutes to wait. Chefs looked baked of their faces and the team just couldn't give a shit generally. Avoid. Go to one of the many other places and beware the fake French BS within

After waiting 20 minutes to order they provided the saddest croque monsieur I've even seen. Not to mention the staff were incredibly ruse. Do yourself a favour and don't go here, it looks cute but not worth it 51 pounds later

Decidimos comer dentro y nos muestran a una mesa acogedora por la cocina abierta, . Ambos tomamos el té del desayuno y elegimos Croque Monsieur y Croque Madame para comer. Delicioso pan de masa madre e ingredientes de calidad. Siempre es bueno ver a un equipo feliz trabajando en la cocina también. Realmente gran lugar.
