Our first time in London England taking in the sights and sounds of Covent Market. Stopped here with another couple for coffee and tea. Great vibe, wonderful coffee and tea, superb service.

We have lived in France for 15 years and truly integrated with the French.  Without trying to sound snobbish or be bigheaded .... we know the French cuisine well and can therefore confirm that Chez Antoinette's is as close to a French restaurant as you can imagine, in London. Apart from a fine - be it simple - meal we liked the atmosphere and the exceptionally friendly service. When we say "simple" meal we should say that the ingredients are really very good. The jambom cru is so real french - superb. The goats cheese (very generous) with acacia honey is delicious. All that for a more than reasonable price.  Chez Antoinette chooses its suppliers very well. I left my hat in the morning so we went back to pick it up. An excellent excuse for a second meal in the afternoon.  Highly recommended!

We stumbled upon Chez Antoinette after a disappointing experience at another Covent garden spot and we’re so glad we did. The food was absolutely delicious, the service impeccable, and the house wine was fantastic. Overall a delightful experience and one I highly recommend.

In the nest of Covent Garden, this French bistro offers a nested lovely seating with great atmosphere! They have some drink specials on wine and beer. Menu seems vast and with something for everyone. The Smoked Salmon and Foie Grass, were both nicely presented, but both could of taste better, nice but not memorable. Still, lovely spot to have a drink or dessert.

The food was delicious, but small in quantity and somewhat high in price. We ordered two tartines (a scanty slice of bread) and a salad, they charged us £50 and we were quite hungry.

A place to eat in Covent Garden that serves food for brunch, with good presentation and good taste, friendly service, come early to avoid queues for seating.

I came years ago with my parents and I came back today because I had beautiful memories of this place, I loved it now as much as I did then! Super nice atmosphere, very kind Romin and team and delicious food. I would eat here every day!

Formula at 12.95 pounds with a delicious tomato soup, ratatouille toast and a soft drink. It was very good, efficient and the team was friendly

A place where the food is very good, especially the tartine, the place is pleasant and the service is fast. The customer service is excellent, they treated us in the best way, I will surely return when I am in London.

The songs were lovely very authentic French songs. The service was amazing very quick. The staff were very nice and friendly. But sadly the tables were bit sticky and the chocolate cake was a bit bitter but still lovely. Also the glasses are beautiful .

We had breakfast there when we arrived in London. The Croque Madame was delicious. Its price much less unfortunately. Nice terrace in Covent Garden. Pleasant staff.

After eventually being seated, 25 minutes had gone by without a single waiting taking my order but acknowledging my existence. Rather not seat a patron if you’re not going to serve them. Worst restaurant I’ve been to in London.

You have to use this restaurant - breakfast and food is fantastic and staff are brilliant. Manager Romane and his partner with the 'impresive beard & topknot' are awesome with great customer service skills and professionalism. Cannot recommend this location enough. So reasonable !! The granola is the best I've ever tasted. 20-8-24 Brought wife and son to experience Chez Antoinette - I had the granola 'standard' !! lol. Staff as usual were awesome 👍😎. Great service and friendly nature. Brilliant cafe / restaurant !!! Family loved it and I'll continue to spread the word recommending this eatery !

Shocking service. I took my family from Australia for a breakfast. We got sat down inside. Waited for a good 15 minutes until we had to ask if we could order. The menu came. We ordered our cold drinks and food. A full 30 minutes went by and the drinks hadn’t even arrived. We eventually walked out.

What an amazing choice! We had a bottle of Prosecco, foie grãs and baked Camembert topped with the best service offered by Jairo. We will be back every time we visit London to revive good memories. Thank you Chez Antoinette Covent Garden team! We do recommend it!

Excellent welcome, pleasant room, French musical atmosphere, enough to make you want to sing! The food is very good, sandwiches, salads, reasonable prices and good portions. Only small downside: the lemon tart needs to be revisited I think... But the chocolate cake is very good.

We went in there just for the rustic ambience. I'm a vegetarian there was nothing much options to eat. We just had couple drinks n came out. It was good experience. I liked the place.

It was traumatically expensive. It cost us 50 pounds for us to be waiting for 40 minutes till we were even able to ORDER. It is nothing special just plain bread and melted cheese like a regular toast that I could make at home. The waiter was also not very polite. I do not recommend rather choose shake shack across the street.

As many times I’ve edited this review to omit the duplicate photos, they still are published. Chez Antoinette is an exciting venue for lunch or dinner, located within the lower floor of the Covent Garden. Located in central London, outside are street performers and skilled singers to entertain you. My smoked salmon with avocado and greens was fabulous. My companion had a grilled slice of bread coated with pesto, tomato and cheese, broiled and drizzled with EVOO. We savored the wine and truly enjoyed the ambiance, enhanced by a nearby singer. It’s a great place.

We popped in for a quick drink after an audition and Amine was very helpful and suggested a fab drink. I would definitely recommend coming here

They are so kind specially ahmed thoms and moses, it’s the best coffee in covent garden, the crip is also delicious.

Address to remember in London! Frenchie atmosphere in Covent Garden, a perfect welcome and a varied menu with very well cooked quality products. Special mention for the chocolate fondant, a real treat!

Schönes Restaurant inmitten von Covent Garden. Leider nicht für Alleinreisende geeignet. Nach einem frühen Flug, wollte ich in angenehmer Atmosphäre einen Brunch zu mir nehmen, leider hat mir der Kellner den letzten freien Tisch im Außenbereich verwehrt, da ich alleine unterwegs war. Schade, dass man als alleinreisende Person so behandelt wird.

Amazing food, the tartines were incredible, very good quality products. The apple crumble is to die for !! The manager, Romain, was so kind and very efficient, he made our experience so great ! His attention to detail ensured we had everything we needed. Highly recommend !

The new version of being ignored

This is a beautiful little restaurant in the heart of Covent Garden. It has a relaxed, low light french feel and food to die for. The staff are all helpful, friendly, and not overbearing. My partner had Brie de meaux, and I had goat cheese and honey. Both with a latte each. Followed by cake of the day for my partner and apple crumble for me. Overall, the whole experience was outstanding with a delicious taste sensation that we would highly recommend to anyone. On a side note, this is a cosy restaurant with limited in and outdoor seating, with it getting quite warm inside. So maybe try booking ahead before turning up.

Nice quite busy, very prompt and efficient service. Coffee, tea and fresh orange juice all very good enjoyable. the breakfast was good, we really enjoyed.

This is one of my favourite spots for breakfast in Covent Garden - their avocado on toast is delicious. I love their floral terrace and the staff are always friendly.

The place is located in very good area The restaurant setting and surrounding was very good We had breakfast there, The food was average, the portion was small, I find it expensive compared to the portion. Service was acceptable.

Not my first time here, and the reason why I comeback is because i love the athmosphere here, although there is a vaste option on the menu, you can simply ask for what you wish really, they make the dish as you wish for, all I wanted was something simple before heading back home from work, I had a g of Prosecco, with some olives, bread & butter, and saucison, the bread is super delicious, I highly recommend, and I will certainly go back

Quite simply. 15 euro salad that was 70% bag lettuce, somewhat unpleasant service, they charge 4 euros for water so if you can ask for "tap water" They take advantage of the tourist and put an additional 10% into the account as "payment for the service" which on the ticket says that it is optional, but they don't explain it to you either, and if you don't understand it then screw you, plain and simple. I would not return nor do I recommend it.

Beautiful restaurant with amazing service and quality food. I was there having an out latte before starting to work, and they make for me a very cremy at the perfect temperature latte..I really enjoy it. The welcome was exceptionally good . The waiter was friendly and kind. The terrace decorated with white flowers is wonderful, I took too many pictures in an apacible environment. I really recommend this place to share time alone or with family and friends ❤️

We popped in for tea, an americano, a white flat, a cortado and a cappuccino. Everything was lovely - as was the adorable cafe vibe. We also thoroughly appreciated our good humored and helpful server, Luca. Cheers, mate!

Cute little French gem in the heart of Covent Garden!

This is some overpriced disgusting place if I had to imagine a nightmare café this would be it. We wanted to sit outside but there wasn't any place left so they told us to go inside. When I tell you it stunk in there i am not joking. It stunk like garbage and filthy dishes. Worst part was that we were able to see the kitchen and it looked filthy!!!. I felt so disgusted that I told them I would like a seat outside. After telling them that I don't want to sit here I realised they were telling customers who came AFTER me to sit outside so I had to remind them that I wanted to sit outside. After 15 minutes they gave us the worst seat outside but I was too tired to argue. We ordered tea and some lemonade for my daughter and when she received them it was awful. They gave a glass cup for her lemonade which stunk like eggs and my daughter looked quite upset but said nothing since we had a guest with us. Moreover we asked for sugar for our tea and they gave us used sugar cubes that were wet. And I would like to say that the kettle that came with the tea wasn't even washed. Overall horrible experience what a waste of a good space for more deserving businesses which actually follows hygiene.

We went to Antoinette's for a coffee by chance. An incredibly unpleasant welcome, the waiter throwing the menus on the table, some of the staff who seemed quite angry! Très très beau! Visiting London today for meetings and wanted a French restaurant with charcuterie and thought I'd try Chez Antoinette in Covent Garden as I love the area. Staff were amazing, even helping me brush up on my French ( thank you so much, really sorry i didn't catch your name but I know you were from Bordeaux!) I opted for the charcuterie and cheese as both are my absolute favourite. This did not disappoint in any way, the bread was beautiful tasty and warm with a pinch of olive oil, gorgeous! The meats were really lovely as was the goats cheese and brie, the goats cheese especially was just perfect. Just could not fault the food or service at all, definitely coming back whenever I'm London 🙂

In the old market which became a bustling center many years ago, on the lower floor we found a pleasant place to eat, excellent soup, large and good sandwiches, an efficient waitress, and music playing in the area, we left full and satisfied to continue wandering among the shops and stalls of the place

Came on a whim with my partner for breakfast before a visit to the transport museum, we were pleasantly surprised by this discovery! We had Eggs Royale/Benedict as well as a sugar brioche and an apple crumble, with two hot chocolates. Everything was delicious! The setting is pleasant, we were able to eat outside under the flowered arch. The service was impeccable. Always nice to be able to speak a little French in London. The prices are reasonable, you have to keep things in context, you can't expect meals for €15 per head in the center of London. In any case we know what we paid for and we will come back when we have the chance.

We shared tea time with the family. Very good advice for tea and the homemade cakes are delicious.

Victim of its success, places are rare but try a stopover, as a couple or family, the staff is pleasant and the snack break is a pleasure.

Extremely disappointed when I visited for breakfast. The latte was warm and had dribbles down the cup. The breakfast (eggs Benedict) arrived and was cold. It shouldn’t be difficult to deliver hot food! Very poor standards and customer service. Such a lovely location, so much potential wasted! Please don’t reply with any excuses. I wouldn’t recommend this cafe!

Charming and beautiful, a little bit of France in the heart of London.

Nicely decorated café, but a bit cramped. Good selection of food and drinks, but toilets were difficult to access.

The lovely waiter made this tea break in Covent Garden with his wit and humour. The fact they didn't have a toilet was a pain though. The cakes were delicious 😋

Awful experience. Lukewarm latte. Ordered eggs Benedict, the bread was thin and tasteless, cheap shop bought thin ham, the whole thing was stone cold. Staff were not helpful at all. I asked about vegetarian options, met with a rude response of “granola”. I asked if the eggs Benedict could be swapped for mushrooms instead of ham, and the waitress told me they “don’t have mushrooms”. Worst restaurant I’ve ever been to.

We had a last minute meal here as we were running slightly late for a show and it was a great find. The food was quick tasty and staff were friendly. The duck confit tartine was absolutely delishious and all the prices were also very reasonable. A very enjoyable meal and I will return.
