This is a small but excellent tea room, almost like sitting at home for a meal. The staff are helpful and friendly, paying particular attention to our two young grandsons. The menu is limited but in a good way. They concentrate on what they are good at and do it well. That is perfect. It is a good place to eat even if you are not visiting the Erewash Museum.

Small, compact and very clean cafe serving a very good cup of coffee with excellent service from the staff, all the tables were taken when I visited.

It's a small-ish cafe attached to the museum and staffed by volunteers. We had a latte and a tea, both were good - the latte coffee tasted good and in a larger cup. We weren't too sure about the box/packet cakes initially but they proved to be very good. The prices give value for money - to the extent that we also left a small donation in the pot. A great place.

While visiting the museum, you may not notice this cafe on your way into the courtyard. But on you way out, it is difficult to miss, and so well placed - perfect for that post-museum refreshment. Two wonder women run this cafe and work very hard to do so. Space is limited and this does impact the menu, but great sandwiches are available, with a range of hot and cold drinks. Seating is at a premium, but during summer months, the gardens would present a wonderful backdrop for your snack or light lunch. Do go - it is truly a hidden gem that is worth the short walk along from the main area of town. Museum is worth a call in too.

Forming part of the Erewash Museum in Ilkeston this small cafe is located in lovely refurbished stables and has a charm all of its own. Serving simple but tasty food and drinks at very reasonable prices, the welcoming volunteers have created a lovely ambience in which to relax. It's just a nice place to be! Our grandchildren loved it so highly recommended

1st time visit to Oakfield Farm. The car park is large and the site is wheelchair accessible. Found all staff to be friendly and helpful. They have a great selection of produce available at good prices. Will definitely return for shopping and a bite to eat. 🙃

Love this place. What a gem. Fab coffee in nice big cheery cups. You can pick up some lovely clothes here too. Very friendly staff. Music was playing which added a good atmosphere without driving you mad. Will visit again.

What a lovely place I never knew existed until yesterday. A quaint little cafe that serves some of the best food I’ve had. The staff/owners were lovely and welcoming, the food was exceptional (veggie Benedict for me) and the drinks were very tasty. I could tell how amazing this place is as it quickly filled with the community; school mums, couples, older folk, and the atmosphere was just great. I will definitely return 👍

We ordered two waffles with icecream at 9:30pm and they didn't arrive until nearly 11pm. The waffles plus delivery cost £21. The waffles did not match up to this price. The toppings were scarce and we wonder why it took so long to make them.
